I have always found the staff to be polite and helpful. I tend to use more than one repair service in the Temple-Belton area, and that is a reflection of service providers who specialize or otherwise excel in a given area. I have only had the most basic of services at this location, and rate 4 of 5 stars based upon the staff. I held back one star because they are very busy, and you need to be prepared to wait or drop off your car. During my last visit they were first come, first served; had I been able to make an appointment, I would have rated 5 of 5 stars. Ultimately, when I need to make an appointment, I visit other service providers

After a disappointing, incompetent appointment I waited a week for at Discount Tire I walked out and drove to Firestone. The employees at Firestone helped me immediately upon walk in with excellent customer service. We discussed that I hit a very large pot hole that busted my tire immediately. They knew I needed not only a tire but an inspection to check for any further damage. They got me in immediately, replaced my tire, inspected underneath my car, saw no further damage and I was out the door a VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER within an hour!! Thank you for listening to, and hearing your customer. I will be back because you earned my business.

It was ok.Staff was helpful and did a good job rotating and replacing tires. ...except that they had 3 tires at 35 and one at 39, when I got my vehicle back. Definitely should have checked the pressure on all 4.Otherwise, not bad.

I left my car in the workshop at 8:00 am for a tire alignment and wheels balance. I called at 6:00 pm to be informed that after having the vehicle for 10 hours they did not do anything on it.

We enjoy using Firestone! Staff are very helpful and repairs are reasonable! Turn around for repairs...efficient. We have had much success at this location!

Stopped in due to rear tires needing to be replaced immediately. It was 4:19 PM when my car was pulled in. It was out at 5:03 PM. Tires mounted and balanced. I thanked the technician and drove away heading back to Dallas. My car sent me an alert that the left rear tire was low and that I should pull over immediately. So found a gas station and pulled in. I was thinking maybe my TPMS sensor went bad. How could I have a rear flat these are brand new tires and Im only about 45 minutes away from where I left. I get out and low and behold Im getting a flat. The technician didnt seat the tire properly. There is a gap and air is escaping. Not sure why it didnt start like that right away but it didnt. So now sitting and waiting for family.

My car has literally been up there all day from 10a.m to 7p.m and to top it off they said my car would be ready today but noone called me or informed me that they were just going to keep the car...Normally customer service is good but this time was unacceptable... I could have brought my car the next day if I knew it wasnt going to be ready or at least a courtesy call.

Everyone was friendly a very clean place. I expressed my concerns and they reviewed and completed the task quickly. They also provided a quote for future repairs.

The front of the house is amazing! OB is great! And the younger man is awesome. Sorry I cant remember his name but he is so nice everything. Couldnt ask for better attendants in the front. The shop guys might have a few new men on the crew though. Overall they do a good job and try hard to work you in even without an appointment. Had 2 tires replaced today and no appointment but they took care of me anyway. When I left my truck had a strange vibration in it after the new tires were put on so I turned around and they fixed it no charge. Also amazing! Good service. No five star rating cause they forgot to put the hubcap back on one of the tires so Im doing it in my driveway.

I like going to this Firestone. Theyre usually pretty busy and trying to use the app to book appointments is a nightmare, but the service here very good. I never feel like Im being took for a ride when I bring my vehicle there. They let you know what you need, make suggestions, but theyre not pushy.

I showed up late afternoon with a f lb at tire as they were being g slammed. Firestone came through again. They fixed the tire and had me out of there 45 minutes with no charge on the tire fixing. Good guys!

I feel that is my responsibility to share my experience, but I’ve been procrastinating. It happened almost a year ago. My heater wasn’t working. I had forgotten that most common cause of that is loss of coolant making it impossible to transfer engine heat to the cab. To solve the problem they filled up the coolant. The other problem was that my right blinker was doing double time. Water had gotten into a crack in the assembly and had caused some sort of short circuit. In an attempt to solve the problem they replaced both taillight assemblies. Not sure why or if they replaced the left one, but it was on the bill. They explained that it was also malfunctioning. About a mile down the road, the double time blinking reoccurred. It still does it. The final bill came to about $800.…But that’s only half the story. A few months later I cracked my left taillight assembly. I ordered one on line for $40. It’s so easy to change taillight on a Ford F-150 that it took me 5 minutes. Also, after toppling off the coolant 3 times I brought the vehicle to another mechanic who replaced a leaking water pump. ...Naturally, l felt like I was scammed by Firestone. Partly this is because I ignored thingsthat I already knew: 1.Don’t tempt your auto mechanic by appearing clueless 2. Avoid franchises if you can, and stick with locals. 3.Do not agree to a large “diagnostic” fee. Then they have to come up with a “solution”.

Im driving to Dallas in my own car for the first time to visit my mom, half way there it started feeling like I had no air, I pulled over to Firestone to see if my analysiss was correct, there were several cars ahead of me plus such a service cost, when the guy in picture number two desides to personally help me, he was kind of like an angel, he checked the car out, even had someone else come over to assist, charged me nothing and my car was fine.They could have took advantage of my situation instead I got nothing but love, look at his face ladies, if you live in the area, no ring.Car knowledge and sweet what more could you ask for. I approve this place

Ive been a customer of Firestone for many years and this store since it opened a few years back. It has gone downhill over the past couple of years. More than once, Ive attempted to schedule my appointments online and end up having to call only to be told their system isnt communicating and they dont have appointments available. This morning I called 4 times over 45 minutes before finally getting an answer. A few months ago, I picked up my vehicle and drove less than a mile and had to pull over because it was driving funny. I checked my tires and found that all four tires were overinflated by 20 lbs or more each. I complained about that but never received a response from anyone. The only reason I have been going back is because I had purchased the lifetime balance and rotate and the lifetime alignment a while back. I may try a different location to see if the service is any better. Otherwise, Im just going to count my losses and take my business elsewhere.

If i could give 0 stars i would... i ordered tires online Wednesday and set up a appointment for Sunday. I get a confirmation for my order and the money was taken out of my account. Sunday rolls around and Im 5 minutes away from firestone I get a phone call from a man telling me the tires I ordered are discounted and they have nothing in stock for my truck except some that are 60 dollars more per tire. He proceeded to tell me he would look into some tires he could find around the same price range and give me a call back. So I agreed..... 7 hours later i just so happened to get on my bank account and see they refunded my money instead of following through and calling me on other options. First of all why did the website allow me to order a tire you cant even get. second why did I not get a phone call sooner than the day of MY APPOINTMENT to inform me of this or even an email so I can explore other options. Third why would you offer to so something for a customer and then not follow through. That tells me you just dont need or want my business.. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE!!!

I am very impressed with how quickly they assisted me and were able to give me a printed quote in minutes... and guess what, the person that assisted me was the manager! Very impressive to see a manager out front and setting the tone. I hope they get wheels soon! This would be my one stop shop for rubber and wheels.

DO NOT USE THIS STORE! THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!! My wife called and made an appointment two days prior for an alignment that would only take 45 minutes. She made the appointment for 12:00 pm and she dropped it off at 11:30. She returned two and a half hours later and they hadnt even started on her car. Im not sure why they even take appointments if they dont honor them. Horrible management and customer service!!!

This Firestone has horrible customer service. I called to see about getting my wheels and tires balanced after buying brand new tires. Guy up front says come on in, there is no wait. 30 min for me to get there for him to ask if I planned on leaving my truck cause now there is a 4 hour wait..

Three weeks ago I make a call. I wanted to take my vehicle for an alignment. They mention to me that I needed an appointment that I cannot bring my vehicle they working by appointment only. I made an appointment and it was for Thursday at 10 o’clock. I arrive 9:40 At that time I was advised that my waiting time it was an hour and a half, I reply if I have a 10 o’clock appointment why do I need to wait an hour and a half. He reply when you go to the doctor they never see you on time. I told him do not compare yourself with the doctors office I don’t have no choice I’m here and I have to wait. While I was waiting two people came in One of them needed several things in there car he didn’t have an appointment the second person needed an oil change no appointment when I heard this I was furious. This is very obvious this is the reason I have to wait an hour and a half. I was there at 9:40 and I left at 11:57 not very happy. Not a good service

It suck mechanics on vacation had to go to Goodyear.

The worst ever been bad business my engine went out after and they denied breaking it when I drove my car in and then had to tow it back and they wouldnt fix said 10,000 to fix. May God have mercy on there soul . This is how they treat people with warranty.

Their regular service is fine. Never had an issue with oil changes and such. Unfortunately, they are one of the few places in Temple that can do state safety inspections. When I first moved to the area, I had to get my car inspected. Everything passed with issue. The following year however, I went there to renew my inspection and things didnt go so well. They failed my window tint despite passing it the year before. I asked if anything changed, and they said no. I was just out of luck and would have to remove my tint. I took my car to another site, and the guys there tested it and didnt have a problem. However, Firestone had put the failure in the state system, so the new test couldnt be entered into the system for a set amount of time. I was forced to pull the tint off my car windows for no reason. Will not use them for that service ever again.

Decent service. No serious issues. Didnt call us when our car was ready for pickup, like they said they would. We were out anyway running errands and stopped in to see if it was complete and it was.

Super fast. I went in to get my brake lights fix and they did it super quick. They have friendly staff as well. They not only got done quick but they also made sure my tires have enough air. I would recommend this place.

I was traveling thru the area when my vehicle broke down. I had it towed to Firestone because it was the only place open on a weekend. They did fix part of the problem but even after I asked 3 different times if my brakes were okay (them saying all three times that they were) they sent me on my way. I am surprised I made it home. I only had brakes on the passenger side so every time I hit the brakes (on I35!!!!) my vehicle pulled hard to the right. It was a terrifying experience getting home. The next day I took it to the Firestone in my town. He was shocked that I made it home. Told me a brake job was part of the fix on the job they did and that they should never let me drive away with no brakes. This place may be fine for an oil change, but beware! They do not care if your vehicle is safe or not. Oh yeah, and it took them 6 days to do the repair and then never called to tell me it was ready.. Fun times.

Came in to get leak in tire fixed. Even though they were short on technicians they worked me in when they didnt have to. They were super friendly and even covered the fee to fix the tire. Great customer service and Im a loyal customer. Thanks Firestone, Temple, Tx!

Great place to get your car worked on. They come with awesome warranties. A month ago i had a lot of work on my car done equalling up to 1300$ but everything came with warranties. This month I hit a bump in the road and messed up my alignment. Because I had the 1 year warranty I got it fixed immediately for free. This firestone has great atmosphere and very friendly staff that made me feel more like a friend. I witnessed an employee about to get off the clock but came back with a smile because another customer needed help. No complaining. Awesome

It took them over a week to fix my tire, then eric called and said oh no we cant fix it; it has to be replaced. What was supposed to be a free fix turned into a month wait to pay $75 for a poor replacement. They didnt even rotate the tires as a courtesy for being so f$#6ed up. And the tire makes a strange noise. Id been going to Firestone for over 10 years. No freaking more!!!!!

Dont believe everything you read online. This place is great. Give it a chance before you read the BS online. It has some great technicians and some great advisors!!! Come see the people first before you believe the negative comments online

I take my vehicles here for all needs outside of warranty maintenance. They are always professional and so very helpful. My dad started going to then when Bob was the manager downtown Temple, followed him to Harker Heights and then back to their current location. Several years ago, Bob retired and OB took over as general manager. Over the years, I have learned the names of many of the staff and they know me by name when I come in. They also know my son, who now takes his truck there. Their prices are comparable to other area shops and if their is something they cant handle, they are up front about it and willing to make recommendation as well as assist in getting your vehicle to the location. I cannot say enough good things about the Temple Firestone location.

Outstanding. I was able to get in early, get an alignment on my car (at a reasonable price) and still get back home for my early morning walk. Thanks again.

This place is garbage. As an individual that knows a lot about cars please stay away from this place. There is a “diagnostic fee” that they charge you regardless of whether there is an issue with the vehicle or not. Most repair shops and dealers return the diagnostic fee when they know the issue with the vehicle. This was true for me with my other vehicle at Lexus of Austin. Here at firestone they still charged me this fee as well as charging me for replacement battery cables, tried to force me to buy a new battery when I had a warranty on that same battery from another place, and lastly further say there is also an issue with the alternator. Honestly just find a better shop than this one. They hardly have any technicians and take long periods of time with each car. Peace n Blessings!

Just an oil change but they were quick to get me in and out

My wife, toddler, two dogs, and I were traveling to Dallas from San Antonio on a Sunday afternoon when an object on the highway flew and hit our right rear tire and punctured it. We pulled into a parking lot and put the doughnut on. The next closest town was Temple, so we drove there. First stopped at Wal-Mart in Temple, then Sams, both didnt have the tire in stock. Discouraged, we thought we would have to stay the night and wait till Monday morning to get a new tire. My wife kept calling places and we finally called Firestone. Zach answered the phone and I had asked if they could get a tire done today. It was late and getting close to closing, and he said he would but it would be towards the end of the day. We had no choice but to do it, as Firestone was the only place in town that had the right tire. I showed up, and I told him I had two dogs and a baby in the car. Zach showed concern and stated he would get us in right away! They even let us bring the dogs inside so they wouldnt be hot outside. We were back on the road in about 30 minutes. The technician was also very nice and ensured he would have us taken care of promptly. Firestone in Temple was a real stress saver, and we cant thank them enough.

I used to work here. This place is such a rip off. Everyone I worked with was cool except one person. Ill let them figure that out. Other than that. Dont bring your vehicle to any firestone anywhere in the United States unless you want a bigger bill to get it fixed at a dealership.

I have always had great service here. They do great work and that equates to long waits if you do not have an appointment. Call ahead and you will receive great service. These folks I trust very much, have not felt cheated or pushed into something I havent needed not one time.

Terrible service. They have no idea what they are doing. I had to pay more that $100 for nothing. They scared me that my car is in bad condition and I have to wait for the worst. I left this place with fear and anxious. I tried different place and the mechanic change some parts that need to be replaced and he never saw anything wrong with my car. I don’t trust this particular Firestone.

If you want to wait 2 hours to check to see if you have a nail then this is the place for you. Also, the staff is not the friendliest plus there is zero sense of urgency or updates on wait times which would help significantly. Now I know why Discount Tire is kicking their a**

I went back and forth about writing a review on here since my horrible experience was back in December but because we paid $1,002 and not even a month after we started having the same problems, I had to share!When we had finally heard word that our Jeep was done and ready we went to pick up our jeep and it had water in it on the drivers side. They said they had cleaned it out and they had nothing for us to use to get rid of the water. We still have some of the issues that they had supposedly fixed but will hopefully get real answers tomorrow. Everytime someone mentions Fire Stone i tell them about our experience!Our Tow truck guy on the other hand was wonderful, friendly, great service and caring!! Temple towing, Bart Lippe!

Got there yesterday at 1:50 for my appointment at 2:00 for an oil change and state inspection, and was told they were busy. At around 4:00 I was told I failed my inspection for a torn wiper blade, and brakes sinking too low to the floor, and I also had a rear parking light out. They hadnt even started my oil change yet. Got a new wiper blade and had someone else check my parking lights after I had checked myself. All lights working. Took my car into another shop to get brakes checked. After a fluid flush I was told my brakes were fine. Go back today and failed my inspection once again because the brakes were a little better but still funky. They offered to do a free check on the problem, ended up being told it was the ABS hydraulic unit, which is a $1000 fix, but Ive never had ANY brake troubles. I dont trust them, and will never go back to a Firestone again.

I have been to Firestone for two problems with my Chevy Spark and both times these guys were very friendly and helpful. I called due to a wheel bearing problem and I needed this fixed ASAP. Called and they told me to just come in and they’d take care of the rest. The mechanic at another shop priced me higher than what Firestone did and the guy couldn’t have my parts in til Friday. Firestone had my car in and out in under an hour and a half. I definitely didn’t wanna keep driving with a bad wheel bearing and didn’t wanna pay an arm and a leg. I will never go anywhere else but here. I wish I could rate this 10 stars !

Very polite and Quick Service

Two months ago we took a car to Firestone to have the serpentine belt replaced. They gave us an estimate of $1,400 to repair the car. Many other services unrelated to the serpentine belt were added to the recommended service. One service was Brake Fluid Exchange.About two weeks after the service was completed the belt began to squeak on cold starts. Then it began squeaking on all starts. When we took it back to Firestone they said that it was the serpentine belt tensioner that was causing the problem. They said since they didnt service the tensioner before, it would be another $300 to fix the tensioner. In addition they said the back drivers side tire had a nail in it and the tire couldnt be repaired. They could replace it for $186. I refused the service.Turns out the nail was a 1/4 inch nail and didnt even puncture the tire, it was stuck in the tread. I found out that the tensioner was bad. And that the condition of the serpentine belt tensioner wouldve been discovered when replacing the serpentine belt.I wont be back to Firestone.

They do good work but I have never spent less than 3 hours there even just for a rotate and balance. And dont bother making an appointment, it means less than nothing at firestone. I am here now and had a noon appointment but they havent touched my truck yet.

I got an instore promotion today... I went for a 4 wheel alignment which is $89.99 with year warranty... The guy daid if u apply for this firestone credit card ill give u the work for free... I had to ask 3 different ways before i realized there r actually free thongs on this world... And the work was great as well... Great customer service also...

Slow as molasses! I see too many people standing around, sitting on their phones, chatting and not enough people in the bay actually working. Will not be back to this location. Half the people dont even have a uniform or proper PPE on. Smh.

I dropped off my work vehicle on the weekend to have a few things done. I didnt find out until the last minute that it wouldnt be ready in time because they didnt have the tires in stock...nobody called to let me know and now Ive missed half a day of work because of this.

These guys really know what theyre doing! I pulled into their shop with an overheating car and still needing to drive all the way to Denton. They kept running every text known to man to find out what the problem was and eventually figured it out and got the parts necessary ordered and lined up. It was at the end of the business day and they werent going to be able to fix it at that moment and they realized that my passengers and I would be stranded in an unfamiliar town with no car. They were extremely helpful finding us a hotel to stay at and even gave us all a ride to and from the hotel after the car was fixed the next day. Great group of folks, definitely know how to help those in need!

Worst experience ever!! I will never go back to Firestone. They fixed a sensor in my back door. Had to remove door panel and all. My back speakers havent worked since and the door they took apart no longer remotely locks. They refused to cover it under warranty. Said it was not their fault. The fact they couldnt honor their mistake is ridiculous. Very poor customer service and Im very dissatisfied with the way they handled everything. Do NOT go to Firestone as they do not honor their work.

My wife went to this place to get four brand-new tires and came home with four new tires all at different tire pressures. On top of that they told her she needed alignment when the front wheels were out .01° of each other rip off artist at work. Beware!!!!

Been a customer for years. Consistent quality, and good communication upfront and follow through. We use their credit card so we get three months same as cash.

Dont bother with appointments, they are just to check you in faster as a walk in. 3+ hour wait. When the vehicle was finally put on the lift 2 hours and 45 minutes in, it was back down in about 20 minutes. Not bad.

They changed the oil in my truck, my truck wasnt leaking, after the oil change I have a leak so I took it back. They clean and replace the filter, one day later it was leaking again and then they told me that was a rack and pinion problem and the cost for that will be around $1200 so I took it to my friend mechanic, he checked out and it was oil motor leak from the filter that they supposed change he replace a second gasket from the filter and charge me $30 dollars. WOW what a difference. Its wear that they have sign there about honesty. Never came back

I was told I needed about $1800 worth of work, so I drove it over to the dealership and had it inspected and asked what they thought. Showed me the issue Firestone claimed and showed me why I didn’t need the work. Won’t return.

I am a former employee of Firestone Complete Auto Care. Overall the customer service is very good. I recently spent around $2,000 in service on a used car that I just purchased. The only complaint that I have is that the brakes are still squeaking. I have taken the vehicle back in 3 times and they are still squeaking.

I was told it will be 20 minutes (which is disappointing )but understandable. 1 hour later I just asked for my keys back . Honesty is there motto . I will not becoming back . Quality Tires in Belton is the only place I take my cars . I was in a hurry and tried to save some time . Should have known better

Stopped by to get a flat fixed. They staff was friendly and helpful.

I got a courtesy brake check here and confirmed my belief that all four of my brake rotors were warped slightly. On my vehicle this is a quite costly repair, so I didnt have it done here and instead opted to do it myself. They got me in and out within a half hour of a walk in appointment.
