My husband and my brother in-law went to this store for the first time looking for a lawnmower zero turn belt. They made three trips to the store including bringing in the machines serial number, and were still given the wrong belt. What made matters worse, they were never given a receipt, and never got their full reimbursement for the items they returned. The cashier was as incompetent as can be, and when I called to speak to the manager, he was bothered.How do you run a business without accountability of what your employees do and how they treat your customers???

Did a warranty repair on my riding mower. Only issue was one hundred deposit on a warranty repair and a $60.00 pick up and delivery fee for and eight mile round trip

Empire Seed is excellent at all they do. I have been getting my mower, tiller, leaf blower, etc. repaired there for decades. They may not be as cheap or quick as some, but they always do a great job and offer advice when needed. They have a great selection of high quality equipment, seeds, etc. for sale as well. Excellent customer service. Ive always had a wonderful experience there. They will do you right.

Wish there was a sixth star! Ross and his team are first-class.Knowing I would soon need a replacement for my old Ariens I visited their booth at the Home & Garden Expo last weekend. After looking at Gravely, Hustler, Bad Boy, John Deere and just about everything else out there I was convinced Scag offered the highest-quality mower at any price. Over-engineered and over-built in every way.These guys were very knowledgeable and friendly. Coming from a service-based industry, these guys did it the right way — under-promise & over-deliver. The car guys could take a page from their book. Ross brought out two units to demo at my home and helped me make the right decision. Asking me the whole time if he could do more. The store staff was just as accommodating — entertaining my rambunctious children, making paperwork a breeze, financing painless, the mower delivered and first oil-change materials included.A+ guys, keep up the great work.

Terrible customer service! I dropped off my lawnmower on 07/21/2020 (put a $40 down deposit) for a maintenence service and was told it would take 2 - 2 1/2 weeks. After 3 weeks with no call or update I called and they still had no update but told me it was in the back getting looked at. On 08/17/2020 (4 weeks after dropping it off) I went in to the store to see what was going on and they still didnt have an update for me. After complaining, they finally went to the back and checked on the status and told me that they havent even looked at it yet.

I approached Empire Seed about a SCAG Zero turn 3 years ago. Ross, the owner offered me a discounted demo unit to try. I bought it, then two weeks later had some issues. Ross gladly offered to fix the problem, but I decided to buy a new unit. That unit has served me well. Now I have purchased a chainsaw and other parts, etc. from Empire. I also own a house with an irrigation system installed by Empire. That is why I approached Empire for the mower.They are great. One of the things I like about the store (other than it is a cool 90 year old building) is the expert advice I get from Ross and other workers in the store.

This place is all about farmers with tractors and landscapers with machinery. If you are a regular homeowner with a mower--forget it. Go somewhere else. They dont want your business. They shouldnt even be listed for that. After ignoring you, people back of the counter will put you off by saying Were running 4-5 weeks behind right now. Meaning: we dont want your business. Dont even bother to go there.

Them old famers know what you need and the help and time they take in customer service is A+.,PARTS AND SERVICE.,my chain saw needed help cutting a 70 or maybe 100 old petrified tree stump previous home owners couldnt get out down to the earth level old farmer said bring your saw in lets get the right chain,looked at it for free, something simple but well needed, that chain went thru it like a beaver on a early Saturday morning floating on his back on the Brazos river smoking a cigar smiling.thank you the backyard looks great with that stump gone thank you sir.

Horrible customer service. They seldom answer their phone and never return calls. As a business owner, I think that is a terrible business practice! It shows the owner either doesnt care or doesnt need the business. I cant imagine the amount of business lost by that practice! I also had to take a chainsaw back to be repaired three times within a week and paid $200 plus dollars before they finally told me it couldnt be fixed. Each time I had to call to see if it was ready. Never received a single call from them. I highly recommend Keiths Ace Hardware in Belton for chainsaw repair work.

Id been having issues with my Echo lawn trimmer for about a year. The line wood not release when I tapped the trimmer on the ground. When I took it to Empire, Robert fixed the problem, put new line in the trimmer, and didnt expect payment for his services. It took all of 10 minutes at most, and he was happy to explain why I was having issues. I will definitely do business with Empire Seed Co. again.

Terrible customer service. When i asked if they sold husqvarna push mowers they hung up on me. Called back asked if they sold any lawn mowers they hung up on me. Not sure they even know how to service what they sell since they dont know difference between home depot brands and dealer sold brands.

This has been an extremely unpleasant experience with Empire Seed! I brought a mower and a trimmer here that were under warranty by a Home Depot protection plan on 3/14. The cashier woman said they would take about 3 weeks to even look at them which is reasonably understandable being that it was the beginning of spring season. She mentioned that it would possibly take another week or so to order the trimmer if it could not be repaired. She also informed me that fuel issues could not be covered by warranty, which was not information that was communicated to me by Home Depot. (Not Empire Seeds fault). The mower was repaired in about 2-3 weeks, but the trimmer was not. They called me about 3-4 weeks in and informed me that they had to have a receipt to look at it. I had he receipt when I was dropping them off and they did not inform me that they needed it then. I also had called Home Depot warranty and Homelite before bringing products to Empire and the trimmer mfr (Homelite) informed me I did not need a reference # to provide them when I dropped it off. They said that empire would be able to call and settle the order via telephone. I received a call from empire about 4 weeks after I dropped it off and they informed me that they had called Homelite and homesite said I needed to call Home Depot warranty since it was close to the warranty expiration, (Note: it was still under the mfr warranty when I called in the claim). I explained to the customer serv associate at empire who called me that I had already gone through all that and they told me it was covered by mfr warranty. She said she would call them and figure it out, which never happened because here I am at the store to just pick it up and resolve the issue myself after 6.5 weeks and no additional follow ups from Empire. Not to mention, they have been looking and cant find my trimmer after looking for it for about 30 minutes so far. There have been a lot of disappointments with Empire Seed and Home Depot and they are both at fault in several Areas. It is obvious that empire caters to be commercial customers as well pushing back the orders for residential orders like mine unfortunately.

I bought a echo chainsaw from them about a year and a half ago . ( 5 year warranty ) When I had trouble starting it, I took it in . Waited for a call that I never received . After a month I called them . That was when I learned of this so called ( fuel related issues ) clause . Which means no warranty !! GO BUY A CRAFTSMAN FOR HALF THE PRICE !!!!

Took a running trimmer in for a yearly PM and when I get it back it doesnt run. No one could give me a straight answer on why it wouldnt run. I have never had any issue with this business,but after this incident theyve lost a customer.
