TRI CITY TRANSMISSION DID IT!!! I love my Jeep Cherokee Sport 2000, but the air conditioning was intermittent. After 2 years and too much money spent at another mechanic, I was impressed by their website, reviews, and youtube channel.I called and brought the jeep in.They were so careful to make sure it was running consistently before they returned it to me, so I had them perform some maintenance as well. They were straight on the costs and constantly communicated with me. I truly trust them with any aspect of my jeep now, it has found a new home for repairs and maintenance.

Tri-city is the one stop shop for automotive mechanical work! Great service and even greater people! The rebuilt my transmission and found out that my brakes cylinder blew out. The informed me of the issue and fixed them when I returned to get my truck I was informed that the complete rear brakes were toast and they replaced all it at the original price saving me $560. This was heaven sent. Will definitely have all my work done here from now on!

Best transmission shop I’ve found in the Phoenix area! I have used them for the past 13-years. They perform the transmission service the right way without damage to the transmission and utilize only factory specified fluid. They are a top run shop, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. While driving our 2019 Chevrolet Express on the SR51 my transmission started slipping and I was quickly on the side of the road. There was transmission fluid everywhere. I work for a local lubricant distributor in the automotive business. Some of our clients are general automotive repair shops. When I asked around with our clients as to where I should take our van, unanimously the answer was Tri-City Transmission. I called them and asked for a price to replace the transmission. Dave the owner said they had to check it out but he highly doubted we needed a transmission. Dave coordinated towing our van to their shop and after they checked it, guess what, it didn’t need a transmission. They diagnosed a bad “thermostatic cooler bi-pass valve”. I got a new thermostatic valve and a service for $543. My quote for a transmission from the dealership was $6,500 and they told me more than likely I needed a transmission. Tri-City Transmission has my business and all my referrals for life.

So a few weeks ago my 4l60E finally gave out on my Tahoe with 268K mi.. I had a tough decision to make on where to take her as I am not about that car payment life! I was going to use AAMCO just for the fact of the nationwide warranty and Im not sure if I would be in AZ much longer. Once I learned that TRI CITY had national coverage, I decided on going with them. I also saw all of the positive reviews and my moms friend had used them as well and she had nothing but good things to say! After my Tahoe was towed there, they let me know what needed to be done rather quickly. It wasnt a small or easy fix as I was hoping.. But it needed to be done, so I had them do a full rebuild, trans mount, replace rear main seal and oil pan gasket. No more drip drip ha! They were also very upfront about everything they needed to do. No hidden surprises at the end and they even fixed one of my idler arms that was missing a bolt from the last mechanic free of charge... So about a week later she was done and it felt so amazing to drive again! Ive never had it shift so smooth before lol! They really knocked it out of the park with their service! I will definitely recommend them to ANYONE that needs work done.. Also one of the techs accidentally broke my driver side window switch and Steve had it replaced with no problem! From the minute I walked in the door I felt welcome by Dave and his staff. Very impressive operation they run here. Top notch knowledge of my existing problem with an immediate solution to fix. I was given several options for repair. I did not feel rushed throughout the process or pressured in any way. They are a full service shop that not only works on all makes and models, but I felt these guys could fix anything that may become a problem in the future. I recommend Tri-city transmission as a reputable and knowledgeable place to take your car for service. Took my car to a other mechanic who said I needed a new transmission. Then took care to Tri-city for 2nd consult, turned out, I just needed a switch replaced. Tri-city is an honest, knowledgeable company. They wont tell you something is needed for your car if it is not. They will charge a fair price for repairs. This should be the only place you take your car to.

Another good review. I recently had the pleasure of having my 2017 Ram 2500 transmission begin to act up. I did some research with aftermarket trans builders and spoke with a performance shop in Phoenix regarding the repair/replacement of my unit. That shop said they would be happy to take my money but couldn’t guarantee that the “fix” I wanted would correct the issue. They recommended Tri-City to properly diagnose the problem. I followed their advice and brought the truck in. First thing you notice is that the offices are CLEAN. I was greeted immediately and the truck was taken in. They said they would call at noon the next day with the results of the diagnosis. At 12:10 the phone rang. It was Dave saying good/bad news. Bad news was I was correct in that the trans was on its way to an early demise. Good news was a question: Why are you here? This truck is still under the power train warranty from Ram. They then arranged with Ram for the trans rebuild for me. This was very helpful as we live about 100 miles away from Tempe. The following week truck was done at the agreed time. I can’t say enough good about this shop and the folks there. On time, on cost, went out of their way to help. If I have any other trans work I would have my rig towed at MY COST to these guys. Thanks, great experience.

I came in with a strange knocking sound that was not transmission or engine related, They diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue quickly. I highly recommend this shop to anyone with car troubles.

I called in to schedule for my truck to go and have the transmission rebuilt to hd. I had a transmission problem and I just wanted to have it rebuilt so it was stronger for towing in the future. Spent five minutes on the phone explaining this to the gentleman seven different times, I just need to have rebuilt don’t care to purchase all these other things I don’t need.

Tri-City Transmissions is THEE place to go if you want honest and competent work done on your vehicle. Several years ago Dave was trying to fix the rear differential on my sons Nissan. We were so impressed with the effort he put into trying to get that car. He even search for the parts in multiple states. Unfortunately it was beyond repair without costing far more than the car was worth to fix. Dave definitely goes above and beyond to do what is right by his customers. We recently had to fix the rear differential on our 2005 Mustang. A different repair shop quoted us twice the cost of what Dave charged. Again, Dave goes out of his way to let you know step by step whats going on. He did an outstanding job for a fair price. Was told they needed to take transmission apart and will get back to me to see what needed to be fixed couple of days later called me told me to come in see the problem. They showed me and told them fix it. Two weeks later they called and payed them and got it put back in my k 1500 4x4 thanked them for the great job and great honesty on the price. A remanufactured transmission was recently installed on my vehicle. The remanufactured transmission had a defect, but this was not attributable to Tri-City Transmissions. The issue was caused at the place where the transmission was remanufactured. Mr. Steve, the Manager, fought hard on my behalf until the warranty claim was accepted by the remanufacturing company. The defective part was replaced at no cost and my vehicle now runs perfectly well. I truly recommend Tri-City. They are honest, reliable and experts in their field.

Aaron and Dave are wonderful!!! I had to have my transmission replaced and they did a great job. They accidentally bumped a car into my front bumper and they replaced it promptly and it looks better than before!!! My car looks AMAZING!!!! They provided a rental car for me and spoiled me rotten! They are also looking into replacing the other headlight so it looks as good as the new one, I mean how thoughtful is that??? I had a fantastic experience with Tri-City!!! My car displayed an error message related to the transmission and I reached out to my regular mechanic who referred me to Tri-City Transmission. Their shop is quite a bit of a drive from where I live but since my mechanic referred me there, it made me feel more comfortable vs taking my car to any random shop. I spoke with Dave Riccio and arranged to bring the car in. Every interaction with Dave was a positive one – he’s very friendly and professional. Without question, Tri-City Transmission has the absolute best, brightest, funnest, friendliest, and intelligent employees/automotive technicians out there! I have a 2004 Escalade ESV, and one of my gears had gone out. I searched the web, and found great reviews for Tri-City. We have four kids, so cost was imperative to our budget. On my first visit, I was met by the wonderful front desk staff, and was then taken on a personal tour of the facility. Just wow! Talk about excellent customer service and transparency! They have an entire deconstructed transmission on display so they can show you exactly what theyre talking about, and holy moly, there are soooooo many parts to a transmission! It was incredible insight. I asked a thousand question and not only received straight forward and honest answers, but I got to examine the parts in question. So freakin cool. They have various payment plans and options to work with any budget. I came back with my wife on a second visit just to show her all I had experienced, take the tour with Tri-City Transmission, and so she could be assured we were getting the absolute best in the industry. We pulled the trigger that day to re-manufacture our transmission. With a two year warranty, we were elated with the service! Two months later, another gear failed, due to my aftermarket cold air intake, and Vortech Supercharger system that was still placing too much pressure and torque on the transmission. I took it it back in to Tri-City, and do you know what they did? They upgraded certain parts of the transmission at no extra cost so that would never happen again with my aftermarket Supercharger system! That is worth a lifetime of accolades! Our Escalade is now running amazing, better than it had ever before! So yes, my ESV Escalade can now take you Dodge hemi trucks, Mustangs, or BMWs without breaking a sweat, all while carrying All the groceries ;) Smooth as Butter. I love my car, and Tri-City treated it in kind. Our experience with Tri-City Transmission will stay with us forever. My car was towed to Tri-City for a battery replacement. Drivers side door handle was snapped off by the towing company. Towing company did not step up to the plate to fix their damage, but Aaron Nelson saw my distress and in the spirit of the holidays (right before Christmas) offered the services of Tri-City to install a replacement handle for me at no cost! No company I know of would offer this type of service and Morgan kindly drove me to and from the shop as repairs were being completed, so the positive experience got only better! Tri-City has not only met, but surpassed, my service expectations! They will continue to receive my business!

With the Covid-19, I was asked to made an appointment to leave my truck and I did. The business was neat and clean outside and inside which I noticed upon my arrival. I was asked in detail what I thought might be the problem, this included sounds, feelings, odd movements and any thing out of the ordinary that I noticed.Two weeks prior to this I had the transmission completely rebuilt in Las Vegas with a warranty to last for a year or more issued by the National Association . At this time the transmission starting to act up again. I brought the truck to Try-City Transmission to take care of the warrantyIt was hard on me at first but the great understanding and direction that I was given we were able to do another re-build and get it done correctly. This Shop has really bent over backwards to fix a problem that was not of their making and make my life easier.I have returned for other services and am glade to recommend their service to others. I first became a customer of Tri City Transmission in the mid 1970s. In all these years I have never had a bad experience. In all cases the problem was found and fixed a a reasonable price. During my most recent repair, not being a professional mechanic, I thought I had major transmission problems. Mr. Dave Ricco and his staff tested the vehicle and found the problem to be non transmission related. The problem was fixed and I was on my way in less than one day. I thank them for their professionalism and will be a return customer when necessary in the future.

I took my car into Tri City Transmission for some brake and steering issues in September 2020. They not only were professional and friendly, but they also got my car done in less than a week. The best part of my experience was that the repair cost less than $1000 when another large name repair shop quoted me several thousand dollars to repair the same issue. Its nice to know there are companys still out there running an honest business. Needless to say, Ill be going back to Tri City Transmission for my future auto repairs.

Awful awful awful customer service. I called and spoke with Dave wanting to set an appt that worked with schedule because of my hours. I advised issue and advised I can bring it in on the 8th. Dave tried to scare me and pressure me into bringing it in earlier that my car may not make it until the 8th. I kept telling him I couldnt bc of the hours and I could on the 8th he kept pushing then said maybe I should got to AAMCO bc they have better hours. All bc hecouldnt pressure me to bring it in 5 days earlier for a test drive.

I had the Opportunity to buy a 2005 BMW Z4 with 37K miles on it. This car runs excellent like new. But as my A.D.D kicked in, I said SELF the transmission fluid is 13 years old, I know, I know BMW says its a Lifetime fluid. Well as I am a skeptic I wanted a second opinion, so the obvious choice for me was TriCity Transmission. They have been in business for as long as I can remember. Well from phone scheduling to drop off the process was smooth. I met with Dave Riccio ( think he even had grease under his finger nails). He listened to my concerns and said they would call me if any issues arose, if not my car would be ready in the afternoon. I did not get any calls, showed up. Dave said the Fluid was not to bad (Maybe there is something to this lifetime fluid?) I am kidding I will service the Transmission regularly. Price was about $200.00 less than I expected, and about $600.00 less than the dealer was going to charge me. Car runs great, the shop and environment was very clean and welcoming. Dont go to Chain Transmission places when we have an Arizona original TriCity Transmission, no I dont work for them, or have relatives there. Thank you.

This is a follow-up to a transmission rebuild that was done about two years ago. My 2010 Chevrolet Silverado‘s transmission failed at 190,000 miles. It was a tough call to rebuild it or just replace the entire vehicle. But, the vehicle is an otherwise great shape and the engine is tight as a drum. I spent the money and had the transmission rebuilt hoping for another 100,000 miles. The vehicle now has over 300,000 miles on it. Yes I drive a lot of miles per year. I took a chance on Rebuilding a transmission on a vehicle with that many miles on it. In this case it worked out. You’re mileage may vary.These are very complicated pieces of equipment. I remember meeting the technician before he started the rebuild and reviewing the parts as they lay on the table in front of us. I can’t imagine having the in-depth knowledge necessary to understand this particular transmission compared to the hundreds if not thousands of other transmission is out there. But my technician knew about my transmission. The amount of training this requires is significant. This explains why a technicians shop rate is higher than most would guess. Established shops invest in their employees training.I have a good mechanic (Sandy & Sons) to keep my vehicles in good mechanical shape and obviously a good transmission shop in Tri-City. I’m pretty sure if the rest of the vehicle makes it to 500,000 miles, this transmission rebuild will too. We will see. Moral of the story, work with the best.

I took my 2016 Nissan to the dealership when I suspected my transmission went out...because the dealership is sometimes more pricey than other places, I was encouraged to get a second opinion. This place was recommended to me by my brother-in-law who had his transmission repair years ago. The staff and service techs that took care of my car were great. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and compassionate towards me during this stressful time. While my car was at the dealership (25 miles away) and they put me in contact with a rental car company near me that they use at a discounted rate which took a huge burden off my shoulders. Unfortunately it was my transmission and their was no easy repair, it did need to be completely replaced. The reality was the dealership was a better deal because of some warrant coverage that I can take advantage of... I could not have my repairs completed ($$) with Tri City and needed to secure a tow truck to retrieve my vehicle, they were gracious enough to hold my vehicle secured behind the gates of their facilities until i could secure a tow. They offered me referrals to companies and continued to follow up with me and communicate with me throughout the entire time. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again.

First timer here...I took my car in for a full brake service. I was thinking all pads and rotors needed to be replaced due to my mileage. Dave and the awesome people at Tri City Transmission were very honest in explaining to me that the rears were good, but the fronts needed new pads, but they could turn the rotors. Not only did they use quality parts, the turn around time was quicker than expected. I highly recommend this shop for their good work and honesty. I found Tri City Transmission after buying my first adult car after selling my college car. I found them using Angies list and they had really good reviews and were close to my place. 5 years later and I am still going to them even after moving further away. They have honest transparent communication and answer all my questions each time. I recently had my first car issue where my AC Compressor started failing (middle of summer!!). Within 2 days they took my car in, gave me and honest estimate which was reasonable using original manufacture parts for VW’s. They even take the time to return my car freshly washed. If you walk in their office they have a board full of thank you cards and letters they receive from their customers which I think speaks volumes of their service. If you are looking for a trustworthy place this is the one!

EDIT: The owner Dave reached out to me and did indeed agree with my input and gave me more vital information that I was originally looking for. His commitment to customer service/satisfaction is obviously very high...so my advice. If you do have any issues at all, do bring them to Daves attention and he will take care of them.Original review below:This shop came highly recommended by another mechanic in Scottsdale. Their diagnostics cost $98, which seems fair. Heres what happened with me. I was told that they would need the car for 1.5 days and then they would have a solution to my minor shifting issue. I specifically told them the symptoms happened when the car was cold, but instead of driving it when it was cold they waited an extra day. The service manager even wanted me to wait till Thursday for an answer! So instead of having information after 2 full days they tell me to wait. I finally realized they were not going to be able to diagnose nor fix the problem so I picked up my car. I was charged $98 for basically nothing....except that a prior dealership had recommended a NEW transmission....on a Toyota Camry with 100k??? For my $98 they made a few phone calls. I give them two stars because they were professional on the phone and it is a clean shop. I feel I did not get my moneys worth.

Biggest scam in town! They quoted me more than the local dealership for a transmission that I didnt actually even need! I will tell everyone I know. Shame on you guys!

Dennis and the Tri City team went over and beyond! I came in for a second opinion after my check engine light came on, and another company had quoted me an outrageous price. I went in on a Thursday, and Dennis talked with me thoroughly about my car history. He then let me know they’re process and informed me they would need to keep my car overnight. Lucky for me they were able to get me a rental car at a discounted price. He assured me they would call me Friday with the result of their diagnostic. He did just that, and was even able to get Nissan to look at my car. I was given a price WAY better then the previous quote. He followed up when he said he would which I appreciated. They made this very stressful situation, not too stressful. I am new to Arizona, and I did not have a place to bring my car.. Dennis and team changed that for me. You have a lifetime customer in me!Thanks again Tri City team, I am so grateful !!

I travel for work and needed transmission work done on my truck. Dave and Tri-City took great care of me, giving me options on what needed to be done with my truck and how long it would take. They stuck to everything they told me, price, dates, even when they would call me. I was able to get my truck fixedwhile being out of town for 2 weeks. I would like to take a moment and sincerely thank Tri-City Transmission for the honest help they gave me while I was in a very vulnerable situation on the road traveling. Long story short, I went to Phoenix to pick up a motorcycle I had purchased and my transmission wasnt responding well to pulling the weight... I was 1100 miles from home and faced with the decision to take a chance and drive or completely defeat the purpose of the trip and leave the bike to make it home safely. Tri-City took the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem and did it right away with my schedule in mind. Although they had to give me some advice a person on a road trip doesnt want to hear, they went above and beyond to help me find a solution to my problem, including storing my motorcycle and researching shipping options! Their job was to diagnose the transmission but they took great concern in getting me home safely and figuring out how I could do that in a cost effective way! I took the time and went into so much detail of my story because its getting harder and harder to find a shop that can honestly do quality work and truly care about the customer especially when they know youre stranded a long way from home in a vulnerable position. Took my pickup in for a radiator flush, because it was past due for time and mileage. I heard on Bumper to Bumper radio show that Tri-City does radiator flushes. I did not want to do the flush myself. Years past when Leon was there I had my Jeep in there on two different occasions for transmission work. Dropped my truck off, they told me it would take most of the day. When I got it back it had 20 additional miles on the odometer. Seems excessive for a test drive.

I had a huge list of things that needed repair on my 2007 GMC, and Tri-City Transmission did a great job diagnosing, then discussing the need for each repair. Not only did I get the transmission fixed, but also the brakes and several oil leaks that had been a problem for years and had confounded the dealership.A huge thanks for all their help, diligence, and excellent communication throughout the process of the repairs!

Took my vehicle in because it kept slipping out of gear. Tri-City did a diagnostic and then GM came through with warranty assistance, had to take it to a dealer though. Tri-City fully understood and was very gracious through the whole process. They will get all of my business going forward.

Dave was very easy to do business with as you can tell he is both knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to explain my situation and what the best course of action is to prevent another visit to his shop. I have a 3 year warranty on his work and dont think Ill ever need it but its good to know that they back there work up far better then the manufacturer. Cant say enough good things about them.

Two other transmission shops said that they needed to drop my transmission out of the truck to figure out what is wrong after test driving it. Dave from Tri-City drove my truck and said your transmission is just fine. The transfer case is where the problem is. They fixed my issue for a fraction of the price other shops wanted saving me money. I Highly recommend them!!!!

Ive never interacted with an auto shop that had this level of customer service before. In fact, I havent interacted with many businesses in any sector with this level of customer service. Dave, both the owner and my point of contact through my repair, was patient in explaining what exactly was wrong with my car, what I would be charged and how, and what I could expect time wise for my repairs. He even had a good conversation with me as I talked through my thoughts behind whether Id be keeping or selling my car. Id taken my car to two other shops for the transmission problem I had, and all I got from them were poor repair processes and curt explanations for what was going on. Like I told Dave and his team while I was leaving the shop, I dont think Ive ever walked away from a major auto repair feeling so happy to pay, but the level of customer service that Dave and his team gave made me confident in both the repairs and my decision to come to Tri-City Transmission.

This company is top of the line for auto repair. Extremely professional, thorough and courteous.A N Scottsdale Subaru dealer assessed my car problem and said that I would need a new transmission and offered me $500 for my otherwise perfect 2013 outback. Tri-City performed a thorough evaluation and realized it was a combination of a broken motor mount and a front brake issue. The entire evaluation with both repairs cost less than $1000 and the car has never driven better. Thank you Tri-City.

From your initial phone call through the entire service the guys at Tri-City Transmission are top notch. In a world where quality customer service has been reduced to a mere marketing ploy these guys actually deliver! This level of workmanship and pride is only found in owner operator establishments. You wont find service this good at any dealership! I have had a transmission replaced by these guys and can recommend them with confidence. They stand behind their work and in the case of a warranty repair you wont find you have to do battle with them to make it right. They gladly take care of their customers. I was in a recent jam in which one of my vehicles started acting up at 2:30 pm the day before I had a scheduled trip to CA. They made time in their busy schedule to look it over to make sure it was roadworthy. They checked it out free of charge, and luckily it was determined that the car was fine to make the trip. Im sure you can guess where Ill be taking it to get the repairs done once I get back. What else could you ask for honest work at a fair price. I can recommend these guys without reservation! I was so impressed by the impeccable service, professionalism, and courtesy of this auto shop that I feel compelled to write my first ever review of a facility. Not only was the mechanical work done on my car first rate, but the courtesy and communication of the front office ( Becky and Aaron) was fantastic. They kept me up to date on every development, called when they said they would, and made convenient arrangements for a rental car for me, even installing my granddaughters car seat in the rental! I highly recommend Tri-City Transmission with enthusiasm!

Very professional, competent, and honest business. They took the time to make sure repair was done correctly before returning my vehicle. My vehicle has 200,xxx miles so I was expecting major work needed to be done on the transmission. I was notified and updated each step along the way during diagnosis, then only necessary repairs were recommended and performed with my approval. In the end, my repair bill was minimal, and my vehicle was fixed correctly. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing transmission work. Its the only shop Ill be taking all my cars to from now on.

Great service! Easy to work with. Would recommend to a friend!Long story, Ill try to keep it brief, but I started out with a humming noise that for about 10k miles got louder and louder until I finally brought it in to be checked by the dealership. The dealer officially diagnosed the sound as coming from the transmission. I trusted their diagnosis, and brought the car to Tri-City. Upon my arrival, the owner took the time to take the car for a quick spin around the block to make sure he understood the noise, and then I dropped it off. Two days later, they called me to let me know that they had isolated the sound to the bearings on the left wheel/hub assembly. Dave took the time to speak with me on the phone to explain the process of replacing the bearing, and what to look for. Ultimately I did the repair myself, but their diagnosis was correct, b/c after I replaced the bearing; no noise!Had I brought this car to a less than reputable transmission shop, I could have been taken for thousands! Transmission repair is not cheap, and I would have been relying on the dealers diagnosis. Do yourself a favor, skip the dealer, and come straight here! ;-)

Tri-city has always treated us well with our car repairs. Moving here not knowing anybody made it difficult to find a mechanic we can trust. Then we found Tri-city. They always make sure we understand what we’re getting repaired and we don’t feel pressured or feel like we were taken advantage of.

I had the good fortune to experience Tri-City Transmissions service today. I took my 04 Cadillac XLR in for routine maintenance fluid changes on the automatic transmission and the rear axle, as after over 90,000 miles, I was pretty sure it had never been done. To the car owner, its not an everyday job, as theres no way to check or add fluid to this transmission and the added rear anti-sway bar gets in the way of the differential cover. I was asked a lot of questions about my vehicle after I was promptly called back on my internet request for an appointment. I was quoted a price. The final bill was that price. I have three pages of very thorough documentation showing the car was tested over 15 miles. The work was done early. I was treated very well by the office personnel and the time spent there was minimal. My car looked different, inside and out when I picked it up - they had it completely cleaned. Not only was I floored by the level of service professionalism, but also by the extras that were not mentioned or even expected to be noticed by some. This shop is top of the line. Id imagine the best techs want to work there, too - it all adds up. Dont cut corners, bring your transmission here. Ill be back.

Tri City has been a fantastic shop to work with, simply the best experience! As a car guy, I have several rides from classics, daily drivers, and high horsepower builds and I have worked with a lot of different places over the years.I was in need of a replacement transmission for my 2009 Cadillac CTS-V. It is a high horsepower build at just over 850 rwhp so this is something that I have to take really seriously. My factory transmission finally gave out in my pursuit of a 9 sec 1/4 mile run. The speed shop that i work with recommended a built 4L80 instead of replacing the 6L90 that came with the car. Its an older style unit but can be built for the power. Trouble is that I would lose drivability and considering that this is a track car AND a daily driver, that didnt appeal to me.I reached out to ask if they can build this transmission to handle the power, and after a brief conversation, i gave them the shot. At this power level, I cannot expect this to last 100K miles, and hoped for a good season or two. Dave worked withe performance shop to make sure this was going to work well with their platform.Well, its been going strong for nearly 2 years now, and i couldnt be happier. He went above and beyond to make this a great product and took really good care of me and my ride.

Dave and his crew took great care of me, and my car. I was very concerned when I started having problems with my transmission and I was afraid Id have to scrap my car and buy a new one. The quotes I had been given from other repair shops were way higher than the one I was received here and it was because of this I felt confident they took the time to actually investigate what was wrong with my vehicle and they were not just after what was in my wallet. I work many hours a week and I depend on my car to commute from Glendale to Tempe. I was very grateful that their team completed the work on my car in a matter of a few days. My car is now driving great and feels like new. Im confident this repair was done right and will last a long time. The women at the front desk were also very welcoming and helpful. I dont like to write reviews and have never written a review prior to this one. Maybe I am weird, but I expect companies in the service industry to ... well ... provide good service both to the items being serviced and to the customer. However, I was so thoroughly impressed by Tri-City I decided to break my pattern. I contacted Tri-City after what I thought was a serious transmission issue and was convinced I would be paying thousands of dollars for a new transmission or rebuild. I spoke to Dave to schedule an appointment and after explaining my vehicles symptoms he told me I might be thinking about it all wrong. He told me it might not be a transmission issue at all and if it was transmission related, it might just need a service. Well, he was right. All I needed was a transmission service to fix the transmission related issue (at a fraction of my suspected cost)! I also want to mention that during the test drive he identified a problem that I had noticed for about a month unrelated to the suspected transmission issue. Now, most of us think Oh, gosh, here we go with the million things that are wrong and need to be fixed spiel, but it wasnt like that all! Dave was open, honest and put no pressure on me to fix any other issues. He even offered referrals if there was a shop closer to my home. I was so impressed by his honesty I assure you he will be getting my business for future repairs!

I recently took my 2014 Toyota Camry in to tri city because my car seemed to be slipping when I reached a speed of 25 mph. I was so irritated because I didn’t want to have transmission problems with another car! My last car was a 2006 Nissan Maxima.Absolute nightmare! Anyways I took it in fearing the worst.first thing I noticed was the guy on the phone was so calm and reassuring, and friendly.this guy explained everything they were going to do. Then when I came in the lady at front desk was super friendly and courteous.they helped me get into rental car for 24 dollars ! The rental car guy was there to deliver it in minutes! I was like dang these people don’t mess around.the next day I think his name was Gary called me and told me we found the issue.It was a loose battery terminal! Causing the computer to act up. I was stunned! These guys could have nailed me! I was literally amazed. It didn’t cost very much. I tell you I will never go to anyone else for my transmission ever again. Thank you tri city transmission for restoring hope in an honest garage!
