Excellent Service! I typically take my car to the dealership, but they couldn’t accommodate my schedule. After a search, I came across Arizona Auto Air and I’m SO glad I did! A family owned business, the customer experience was friendly and easy. They took my car same day, and my car was done in a matter of a few hours. Plus, their hourly shop rate is much cheaper than the dealership.It was an added bonus that Steve, the owner makes a point to have a conversation with you. A great shop and I will for sure be taking my car back. These guys are great!

Had an issue with my A/C normal go to the dealership but they are usually pricy so I decided to shop around found these guys online. Super professional and provided information up front no gimmicks. The professionalism started with the phone call. Unfortunately they had to do more research before they can provide the services, but they told me that upfront which was refreshing. I honestly don’t think I am taking my car back to the dealership. I just hope they can resolve this issue.

If you want to be treated fairly, appreciate honesty, and want the job done right this is the place to go!My AC was blowing hot so I had them check it out. I was told I needed a new compressor and they quoted me to do the work and showed me pictures of the issues. Since I am very mechanically capable I asked if I could do the part replacement and bring it back to be charged and they said most definitely. They even brought me to my truck and gave me pointers/tips on the process and brands of parts to buy. Overall these guys are great!

Excellent service here. I went to get my A/C checked and service. I was quoted an amount over the phone and after my services were complete that was the amount I paid. Not a penny more. Service staff was excellent about giving me updates on my car. Service was done in around 3 hours. They are a very busy place and they do very good work in a timely manner. I will be taking my other cars here as well.

The business was very busy. I was a walk in. I was told it might be a 3 hour wait to have my car looked at, then an hour to checkout my AC. I was in and out within 3 hours. I had a recharged AC, and cold air again at a reasonable and affordable rate. John was very honest and professional. Will come back and refer others to come here as well. 😁

John fully explained the diagnostic process and charge that sounded more than reasonable and the fee would be credited if they did the work. When I arrived the staff and owner were friendly and competent. Later I learned hed been in this business over 30yrs. Im very mechanically inclined but not a mechanic. Id know if I was being sold something I didnt want or need. AZ Auto Air came back with the diagnosis with a reasonable estimate and repair time. The work was performed professionally and on schedule while I waited. My AC works beautifully again but the biggest thing I walked away with was the feeling I had been treated honestly and fairly. I would highly recommend AZ Auto Air for any repair needed. I found the repair shop Ive been searching for.

A/C is fixed! Found this great establishment by simply looking for a business near me with good reviews. When called, they said no appt., we run a diagnostic test and you decide from there. Was very glad the price I paid was more than fair, problem was man-made error-which they described. Had it been somewhere else, who knows how much or what type of charges couldve been made. Amount of time and response was amicable. Thank you, beginning of 100° weather without air in AZ is not cool. 😎

Great guys with honest answers. They dont push extras on you and even offer you the options to DIY and provided the knowledge to do so if I wished. Exact opposite experience from many other mechanics that try to charge you for changing your head light fluid. It was about $55ish with tax for the eval and they give you in depth, no BS answers, and no pressure to proceed with the job, especially when costly. Very down to earth people, would recommend all of my friends and family to them. They are super busy, so be sure to have back up ride from and back, for evals can take up to 3 hours. We just went shopping to kill time so it was no big deal. They even provided an additional analysis of my actuator as a courtesy for free since it was making a knock noise. They even shared some extra information about a dash light that throws no OBD2 test codes, that no one else could answer. Will definitely be coming back, without hesitation, and will also be the first professionals I reach out to in the future.

This is the only place I take my car and I would recommend it to anybody because theyre a family-owned business they dont B.S. you and theyre straight up about their diagnosis their estimates and their prices.

This my 2nd time AZ Auto they performed the services I requested for my vehicle in a professional and timely manner. They did let me know of a few other things that needed to be taken care of on my vehicle. They did not pressure me or try to scare me into doing any further repairs. They were very open and honest. Went in for non working AC on our 2016 Toyota Corolla. Im mechanically able to a point so i did a few of the most common things to fix the problem, unfortunately they didnt work. Went in for a diagnosis, they had the issue found by end of the day. The part needed is expensive, but very simple to do yourself. They said you can get a used one, and didnt try to upsell the part. Also letting me do it myself instead of charging an arm and leg for a simple job. You dont find that honesty or willing to help no more. I will be coming back for any future issues, plus telling others. Thank you guys for your help.

Have had grate interactions with John everytime Ive been here. I right away felt as if I could trust AZ Auto Air. I have a large SUV with dual air and honestly expected to pay more for the services I received. They did a complete inspection of the system as well as inspecting the car. The folks at Auto Air are very good at their business. I needed a evaporator core replace. The means the dash and steering column need to be removed. The work was excellent. I expected something might not work with all the dismantling of the dash. Everything works great and the AC is working wonderfully. They helped me diagnose a part failure that had recently been replaced at no cost. Theyre friendly, and mid range on price. Id go back for any future needs if I lived closer.

AC was blowing lukewarm air so we took it to a shop we’ve used for years. They told us the entire system needed to be replaced for $1800. That’s a lot of cheddar for a 15-year-old car so we took it to AZ Auto Air for a second opinion. After testing for leaks, they refilled the refrigerant and replaced the cabin filter for $160. AZ Auto Air legit saved us $1640!

To whom it may concern, I came into your shop which was recommended by an auto parts store in Ahwatukee because I had a visible Freon leak in the high pressure valve. My air conditioning was still working but not as good as I would like it to. I agreed to the repair and your employee replaced the valve and inspected the entire system and said there were no other leaks. This was in the mid August with maybe another month of heat and with a pandemic so I wasn’t doing much driving, back-and-forth to the store, under 40 miles at best. Now I have a new leak on the low pressure valve that wasn’t leaking before. This valve started a slow leak the day you worked on my truck. I saw that old machine you hooked up to those valves was dirty, old, and worn out - and you don’t think that could possibly be responsible for the leak? Well I do, just like abusing any piece of equipment when you’re busy and overwhelmed with work at that time can break or damage this valve. So now I’m back where I started from - a leak in my AC system. I want a full refund of the money I paid some $150 or so and I’ll retract the negative review I gave you on Yelp. I’m hoping we can come to some sort of agreement or ......I’ll be suing you in small claims court. I’m retired now with limited funds and I have lots of time and nothing to do. They also don’t wear masks in the back - low grade!

Honest hard working family owned and operated for over 30 years. They stand behind their work (trust me my vehicle was no picnic! I had to take it back a couple times due to my vehicle not because of their work and they still stood by their word). They do great work and their prices are affordable. I will be taking all my vehicles to them from now on.

After spending $1500 at another shop, the car A/C still did not blow cold. That same shop wanted another $2400 to fix it. I then took the car to AZ Auto Air and they fixed it for $183. A/C now blows cold and I couldn’t be happier.

The AC in my Yukon was blowing warm air, so I brought it to AZ Auto Air. They were friendly, fixed the problem very promptly, and were very reasonably priced. They are top tier experts at what they do, and I would not go anywhere else!

I go to AZ Auto Air for any issues that may arise with any of my cars. They almost always know the issue from my description or they find it right away. They never find add on items that need to be done. AZ Auto Air has even sent me away a few times, after checking out my vehicle, saying that I wasnt in need of service yet. Needed help with ac line repair which they did fast and at a reasonable price. The most impressive part was what came next. We have been having alot of problems with our system but every time i called and asked them this or that about things to do they responded as if i were there family member. This place is super honest and transparent. I came in after my ac went out after shelling out $1200 at another shop. They diagnosed it and it was the same parts I had replaced at the other shop. They then took me back into their garage and showed me exactly what was going on. My parts are still under warranty at the other place so I’ll be going back there for the work. I am happy to say that I finally found the place I trust to take my car at - AZ Auto Air . It is a family owned business and you can really tell the difference. No more visits to the dealership for me. After I was ignored by the Hyundai dealership ( I have no idea why I called them first ) while having an emergency situation with my car, I took my car to Steve, the owner, and right away he took a look at it and addressed the problem. He is very honest and really cares. Everybody at the shop is nice and welcoming, and on top of that the prices are way less expensive that going to the dealership. I really give this place a 5 stars both for the job they do and their customer service.

The young lady up front was very nice and communicative as well making customers feel comfortable and at home. Very happy with the honest service. The owner of the shop, Steve, is the old school auto electro-mechanic. I couldnt detect any BS talking with the guy, being a technical guy myself. He is honest, and generous. My battery died all of the sudden near their shop, I towed the car in, they diagnosed a bad battery and allowed me to go across the street and get a new battery at Costo - using the shops van!! The diagnostic was the lowest fee I have encountered yet. It turned out my alternator was bad too. The repair was prompt and the cost was fair. I guess I found my mechanic. People, look no more. This is the shop.

I had an a/c line that was touching the header in a foxbody mustang. I sent it out here to have rebent but after they received it they called me with a better way to do it( cut and weld it). They did the job and promptly sent it back. It fit excellent and customer service was great. As I had some issues at ups getting the return label they helped take care of that end as well. I needed a power steering pressure hose for my 94 Audi and there are no replacement hoses available anywhere in the world. Not only did AZ Auto Air re-construct my hose, but they made it better, and at a fraction of the price of a new one had it been available. Oh, and they did it in one day ! Highly recommended.

Having the AC on a vintage vehicle serviced is no easy task as many businesses do not have the knowledge or tools required, yet AZ auto air had the information, were happy to explain my options to me, and answer all my questions in detail. This company, it’s owner Steve and staff are all above par when it comes to friendliness, professionalism, experience and knowledge. My latest experience was bringing in my vehicle for assessment - Steve carefully looked it over, test drove it, provided an analysis and repair estimate and did not charge me a penny for his time. His labor rate is $100/hour but the diagnosis is free...how refreshing!
