I love it here!!! SoCal judo has taught me so much on and off the mat. I have been training here since 2014. I absolutely love it. Coach Israel always inspires me to do my best and keep on trying until I get it right. I am so thankful to be a part of this team!!

I am glad I found this judo club. My kids have been training there since 2012. Coach Israel Is the best. The kids love him. The best judo training you will find.

As a parent I am shocked by the lack of concern the Temecula school and the parents I encountered (one being a police officer) had for the actual safety of the kids once outside the doors of their school. They (again, parents too) had a boys will be boys mentality when I let them know that some of the boys outside were applying full nelson headlocks on one another so hard their faces were changing color and the boys were struggling and pushing back into railing to try to get out. This according to parents was all in the name of boys will be boys and I should mind my own business. Okay, so next time I see kids doing something that could cause another child harm I should mind my own business? Gotcha! Not Likely!

My daughters just started taking Judo Classes over here at Socal Judo. They are 4 and 10 years old.Besides learning from former Judo Olympians, the way Israel and Valerie teach is amazing. The girls have so much fun exercising that they always come home, and ask if they are going to Judo Class.To me, taking them to a place they enjoy makes it easier for them to learn. Self Defense is a life skill. I can see their confidence growing already. Thanks again Socal Judo!

My son Aiden has been going here for almost 3 years and he loves it. Coach Israel anf his family do a great job with teaching the kids how to be discipline and how to never give up. Thank you Socal Judo for always treating us like family.. 🙏🏼

2 of my 3 Kids currently Train at Socal judo. The 3rd will beginning as soon as she is of age. I couldnt be more pleased with the results of their coaching. The quality of training they have received over the years, and the uquantifiable life lessons learned on the mat will pay ten fold throughout their lives. From self defense to nutrition to self confidence and self respect. Coach Israel and Valeri are Olympic level coaches but they are also world class humans.

I’m Japanese. I wanted my son to learn Judo because Judo is a Japanese national sport. My husband is a practicing martial artist. He wanted our son to learn it for physical conditioning and self-defense. With that we started to search for a Judo school in the area.It was very hard to find a pure Judo school in the area. Most advertised Judo is being taught by Brazilian Ju-Jutsu instructors. These folks can skimp on Judo because most parents don’t know the difference between Judo and Ju-Jutsu.We feel lucky to have found SoCal Judo for our son. The teachers are great – a father and son team who really do a great job of focusing on the individual needs of each student.If you are looking for a real Judo school and are in the Temecula area, look up SoCal Judo. We are in Escondido, but feel it is worth the drive!
