I came to La Masters with a very sentimental ring that needed repair. All of my options were explained with such care and patience. This ring belonged to my mother who, unfortunately, passed away 6 months ago. I became emotional a few times and was treated with such kindness. I asked about 10000 questions and never felt rushed or pressured. I ended up shopping and was super impressed with their selection. I’ve been a rock hound almost my entire life. They have a great selection of diamonds but they also carried a good amount of more rare gemstones. It was fun to chat about these stones with people that really knew about gemstones! This is so rare in the jewelry world. They also had a wide range of less expensive jewelry that made it easy for me to treat myself! I will definitely be back.

La Masters ruined what was supposed to be one of the most special and happy days of my life. My now fiancé went in here to buy a ring and planned to surprise me with a beach proposal. He already knew what he was looking for, and knew I was a size 5-5.5 but got a 6 to allow successful resizing if need be. They did not give him the information he asked about the diamond, cut, clarity, or color, and they just gave me a paper with the carat size written with pen. Fast forward to that weekend, he proposed on the beach, and I love the way the ring looked in the box, but when he put it on my finger it immediately fell off. Turns out they sold him a size 7, and when we took it in to be resized with the extra 5 year warranty we added on, they said they could not take it down two sizes to be a 5 without it mis-shaping into an oval and without several side stones falling out. THEN when asked about the diamond information again they said it wasnt a certified diamond and thats why they dont have the information on it. They looked under a scope and then, after already lying about the ring and him buying it, then they discussed the color, cut, and clarity. It is NOTHING like what we wanted and they refuse to put extra work in to resize the ring and make it perfect for us even though we paid the extra money for a warranty. We called Alexander Jewelers in the mall and talked to their manager and he said they can absolutely size down 2 sizes and it be perfect. They also said no stones would come out, and that they would even polish and clean it when theyre done. To make it worse, the experience with La Masters was SO bad, that if they dont refund us, Alexander Jewelers would give us the exact same warranty, resize it, plus free cleanings and polishing if were stuck with the horrible quality ring. Do not shop at la masters if you want to have a successful, happy, and special engagement. I am extremely upset and disappointed.

I took my ring to La Masters to be repaired because I busted it pretty bad, and they went above and beyond my expectations. I got my ring back better than new. I am so happy and satisfied with the work LA masters did for me and my ring! I am newly engaged and had my engagement ring ordered online, went to get it resized at another jeweler and it was only complications from there. My stones on the band kept falling out (replaced numerous time) and the band itself bent so easily and was so misshapen from all the time I got it caught in anything from a sweater, to a zipper on my purse! I took it to LA masters and they were very helpful with what the best decision was to make my ring beautiful and strong! We decided to completely change the band and did a custom repair on it, and they had it ready in less than 2 weeks. I just got my ring back today and it it absolutely perfect and I am so happy with it! Thank you to everyone who helped there, the staff was also amazing. Very happy!

The baguette ring looks more beautiful than when I first bought it, in March 2020. A Diamond had fallen out of the setting. I left two rings here early March with Bob to be reset, a 12 baguette, 2 carat wedding band, quote $1500 to reset horizontally (as they originally came from the Manhattan jeweler) and a tourmaline into a baguette setting. The tourmaline came out beautifully in less than 2 weeks. I didn’t hear anything for three months about the wedding band. In August, 5 months later, they informed they couldn’t do the job — because the baguettes were “Not matched to be set horizontally”?! This ring was originally bought set horizontally— I wanted it restored to its original state. Clearly they don’t know what they are doing— after 5 months!Frustrated, I asked Bob why they waited 5 months to alert me. No answer. Trying again I asked why he couldn’t restore it to its original design. No answer. Rude and not service oriented. Nope.

When I brought my grandfather’s wedding band resized I was a bit worried about sizing down because the inside of the band is engraved and I did not want to lose that. Leah and the rest of the staff were very friendly and ensured me that the ring would come out just like new, which it did!
