Excellent dealership. Went in and got a used CX-5 yesterday at a great price, the whole time they were super courteous and nice. This being my first car purchase I was worried about the typical sleazy car salesmen stories that pop up online, but by the end I trusted them completely. They never tried to push too hard on anything, deceive me, or make me feel uncomfortable; They listened to all of my concerns and reassured me. Was in and out very quickly. Would definitely recommend.
Went in for an oil change and car wash and was blown away by the service. Everyone was very friendly. Service was speedy. They helped me patch a hole in my tire that I didnt even know was there. They even washed the inside of my windshield. I havent been able to get that done anywhere else Ive gone for a hand wash, and I didnt even mention it to them.
I like how welcoming Mazda dealership. The new office looks great.The service is good. I dont understand why it takes 3 hours to change oil instead of an hour as it use to be, but fine the job is still gets done.Surprisingly repair here was a dot cheaper than in other private businesses. Over all its all good.

And the cost was reasonable. Also, Jason is so friendly and helpful! Any questions, he is there to help with a smile and great attitude.
Pro: price for an oil change is similar to most other places. Nice waiting area with free coffee and water. Check tire tread and wash outside of car for free.Con: takes 2 hours for this to get done as they do not have mechanics specifically for oil changes there. So, if all the mechanics have bigger jobs to handle meaning a car sitting in their bay, longer wait time for a simple oil change

Great service for getting my oil change. Was able to get a ride home while the car was serviced. The Service Technician send a video of the work theyve done with the car straight to your phone. Tabitha, my service rep, is great and very responsive! Will come back again.
I have been going to John Hine Mazda since I bought my car in October 2015 and this has been an awful year with the Service Department. Each time I brought my car in for service, I had to make an appointment within a few days after picking up my car for regular service, mainly an oil change. I picked car up only to make an appointment again and find zi needed rotors for my brakes. The last service for an oil change was fone until I picked my car up and heard a noise when I pressed on the brakes. I dont understand the purpose of the multipoint inspection. Now, after SERVICE had my car for four days, I still have the noise.I am praying there is nothing seriously wrong with my brakes because the mechanic told me it was just a rock in my caliper and he took it out! I still have the terrible cranking sound so I have to take it back to Service again. Mw and my husband bought our Mazdas in2015 and this year has been a terrible and frustrating year. I got front and back brakes, four new tires and tire rotation package. I have kept up my maintenance on my Mazda 3. Since the pandemic, I started driving about 5,000 miles every 3 months! I have almost 49,000 miles as of this writing. I made a complaint and no one responded!Glenda Simmons

My Service Advisor, Tabitha, always gets me an appointment when needed, listens to my concerns, and provides a ride service for my husband to get to work while the car is being serviced. I am very happy with John Hine Mazda and the regular maintenance services they provide.
We paid to fix a chronic problem with a known manufacturing issue (power window binding) multiple times. When the problem persisted (and repeated on already fixed windows), we told the dealer that we thought Mazda needed to step up to the problem and help us.The dealer would not advocate for us.- we had to call Mazda. Mazda offered to pay 25% of the likely repair costs, or 6% of the total of what we had paid up to that point. to fix something that was re-current, and known of.Our brand loyalty is gone. We will never do business with the dealer again. Unfortunately, that includes means Subaru has no chance to sell us a car too.
I had a GREAT experience in 2017 when I purchased a used CX-5 and absolutely fell in love with the car. Unfortunately we were involved in an accident when a full-sized pick-up truck ran a red light at 55 mph. The safety features of the CX-5 were above my expectations and I knew that I wanted to replace my totaled vehicle with another CX-5.This is where the experience turned a complete 180 and I have had nothing but disappointments. First, I feel that I was completely taken advantage of and dealt a poor vehicle even though it was the same year and model. There was another car that was virtually the same price; however, the salesperson told me that I did not qualify for that vehicle which I still dont understand why. I did not need to purchase the vehicle at John Hines which is ultimately my fault and lesson learned.Not feeling completely comfortable with the car, I purchased the extended warranty that is supposed to cover everything. The only problem is that there is a $100 deductible and I am still having the same problems as they indicated that the SD card just needed to be updated which clearly did not solve the issue. Another frustrating issue is that they do not service vehicles after 3:00 p.m. nor on the weekend. Not a problem as they offer a courtesy vehicle. This is a problem because they dont have any courtesy vehicles. I was supposed to pick one up today for an appointment that I scheduled weeks ago; however, since there was no courtesy vehicle the appointment needed to be modified. The next available appointment is OVER ONE MONTH away!!! How are people supposed to have their vehicles maintained with this type of service?I do like Mazda and I believe that they are great cars; however, I would be very skeptical of this dealership due to the poor customer service and lack of service in general. I wont make the same mistake on my next purchase and I caution you as well.

Bought a car with my daughter and co-signed for her. She is in the military so I wanted on the title or not and. Told them several times. Here we are 2 years later and my daughter is deployed and she told me to sell her car and the title has and not or. Now I can’t sell her car because it needs both of our signatures. Thanks Mazda, you failed, you had one job.😡

In the past, John Hine Temecula Mazda had done a wonderful job, and I had recommended them for sales and service.Unfortunately, my latest interaction with their service department was extremely disappointing and their customer service representative was less than professional.My car was brought in twice to repair the same CX-9 operating system that was defective. Between the two service appointments, John Hine Mazda had my car for over a month. My car was originally brought in May. In August, I was told to bring the car back in October.
I am updating my review because after a very poor experience, the Service Director, Eric Kelley called me immediately. He was so nice and wanted to make sure to make good on the error which he did within a few hours. I have to say, that kind of customer service no longer exists so I have to give him a lot of credit for making it right.
A big thank you to Carlos When I came in he helped me out & explained everything to me so I could understand. He treated me like family. Getting a new car can be overwhelming but he made it so easy. I normally have a very good experience but today was horrible. The person taking care of us dropped the ball. Had a7:30 appt did not leave till about 10:30. Simple tire rotation and fluid change. The person doing the fluid change mad a video at 8:04 on what had to be done. Did not receive the video until 8:46. I still had to go check on my car at 9 because no one had come to tell me what was going on. The car had been sitting washed and ready to go for 15 min. After talking to the person who was suppose to be handling that car. I was told it would take 2-3 hrs to change the break fluid and power steering fluid. I talked to Tom the GM he took off $100 for the oil change and tire rotation. Seriously considering going some place else next time I need any non major work done

I brought my 30 year old Mazda MX-3 in for a recall and they still honored it. Not a single penny spent on the repairs. I brought the same car in for a different recall about 5 years ago and they had the repair done in 3 hours. Now thats what I call customer service!

Out of all the local dealers I dealt with, these guys were by far the best. They weren’t pushy, let us really look, and helped us to make a decision. The fact that they are a bit more hands off was refreshing, especially when I had just walked out of another dealership after being very frustrated. Their selection of news fused cars was great, and the prices were right on par with other places.

We had a great experience at JHTM. Sales Manager Steve was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was a good selection of beautiful Mazdas, so we were able to test our first choice. We had to wait a couple weeks before we could return. The one we liked was gone, but they had just gotten another one the same. The whole process was painless and enjoyable. Love our new CX-5, and Id recommend JHTM to anyone!

I bought my car from here in 2016. I love my car and it is extremely reliable. I just called to update my navigation and talked to someone named Drew. He was unsympathetic and could care less to help. I was never explained that updating my system would cost me money until now. Drew should not be in customer service. The company should have explained this.

My husband and I got a car from here today. The car is great, the guy who showed it to us was nice and but my complaint is the lack of respect most of the people who work here have for any of their customers. Right as we walked in I noticed not many of them were wearing masks. I wanted to leave and take our business elsewhere but we drove two hours to get the exact car my husband wanted. I didn’t want a new car plus possibly a side of Covid so they agreed to bring everything outside. Overall I don’t feel this dealership cares at all about it’s customers or their families health and I won’t be back or recommend them to anyone.

I’ve never received this kind of outstanding customer service from any car dealership before. I can’t begin to tell you how welcome I felt thanks to the employees who were part of my journey. I came in with the intention of simply just going on a test drive and discussing my options for trading in my current vehicle, not knowing that I would be driving off with a new vehicle that same day. I absolutely fell in love with the CX-5 2020 Touring. I had a Mazda CX-5 2014 and the 2020 Touring is such a BIG UPGRADE. Having the luxury of CarPlay makes things a lot easier for me, it was one of the features I was eyeballing and wanted to make sure I got. Everything else about the CX-5 2020 Touring is magnificent.Now back to the customer service part of the story.Chris Molina helped me from the moment I walked in, to the moment I left. He even discussed details with my advisor on the phone. Being a millennial who has never gone to a car dealership by herself, there were a few things I needed assistance with, hence why I made a few phone calls. Chris was extremely patient, kind, open minded and willing to make me a good deal and ensure I walked away feeling happy. He spent hours figuring out the best plan for me, answering any questions I had, and thoroughly going over the paperwork in a way that made it easy for me to understand. In the end, I walked (mostly drove) away feeling like I just won a million bucks. Chris will do everything in his power to make sure you’re happy and fulfilled with knowledge about your new car. He was fun to chat with, and forming a bond with a sales consultant honestly helps takes a lot of the stress away.Jacob, Jenevieve, Jamie and Son were also very helpful and nice to chat with during the whole ordeal. Their patience and willingness to work with me and explain everything in a way that was easy for me to understand was greatly appreciated. After having a horrible experience with another dealership in Orange County and walking out, we immediately drove to Hine Mazda to buy a CPO CX9 that we had test drove a couple days before. Our Hine Mazda experience was excellent. We had our own financing and they made the process so easy! We were in and out in under 2 hours with keys in hand.

Waited 3 hours 45 min for a $95 oil change and tire rotation. Called to ask for an eta about 1.5 hours in and they said I would receive a call back in 15 min. I never got called back, after wating 3.5 hours I walked in to the office to find my car was already done, who knows how long....not going back.
I just purchased a 2019 3 Hatch through Temecula Mazda and the whole experience was very simple and quick. Nick was very informative of the car. Both Nick and Ryan are very friendly and professional people. The dealer overall is extremely nice and I highly recommend purchasing from this location. Even if you have to drive far. I love my new 3. Overall Temecula Mazdas atmosphere did not make me feel pressured to add things I did not want and let me purchase what I was looking for. Highly recommend.

My husband took our car to get “fixed” as it was running rough. It took three months to get our car back and the issues we were having have still not been resolved. He was is no way disrespectful to any of the employees there as I was with him on a few different occasions. After spending $1000 on the car, we are finding that it is driving rougher now than when we brought it in, 30 miles in and still averaging at 4-6 mpg. I would say that this is more than “down the street.” We’ve both expressed patience but are not willing to drop more money.

What an outstanding experience buying a car here. And that is after test driving CX-9s at two other dealerships (and not buying one at those other dealerships).What was so great:Everyone was extremely nice and professional.This was a great place to test drive the vehicle (not a 3-minute go-around-the-few-blocks test drive).The difference maker: Their sales manager (Josh) is phenomenal. I had a few concerns on this (used Mazda). We popped the hood and he showed me what he checked for. This guy knows cars (and that is coming from someone that knows how to change spark plugs etc).We came from pretty far (80 miles) to buy a certified Mazda here... but let me tell you that we’ll come here again for a new one too next time. Thank you Katie and Josh and the team (your colleague that we did the paperwork with was awesome too!)

This is the worst experience Ive ever had with a dealership. I was a loyal Mazda customer for over 12 years (one purchase and 2 leases). This was the first time I was turning in a lease and not getting into another Mazda. I called the finance company (Chase) in advance to make sure I knew what to do. They directed me to drop off the car and they would contact me regarding my balance for mile overage. While I was at Mazda, Chuck was helping me decide if I was going to get into a new Mazda or not. I was not comfortable with the amount that was being offered on the new Mazda, so I asked Chuck what my options were. He said the only other option was to pay the balance owed. I asked him how much that would be a month and he said about $150.00. I said that works better for me and I left the dealership. I called Chase immediately and they said that my case hadnt been assigned to anyone yet and they called me 2 weeks later to say that the dealership is not allowed to give me advice regarding the payment of my balance and Chuck from the dealership was wrong to give that advice and I would have to take it up with the dealership. I spoke to 3 different people at the dealership, Chris, Josh and Bill (the GM). All of them told me that Chuck would never say that to me and essentially calling me a liar. The GM completely ignored this fact and they all treated me like I was a schemer. I told them, had I known I wouldnt be able to finance my balance, I would have purchased my Mazda. By the time I found out, my Mazda had already been sold. Basically my credit is going to get dinged because of this lack of organization and communication. I havent had anything bad on my credit for over 20 years. No one at Mazda cared and again, how uncomfortable was if for me to basically be called a liar as they all rallied to defend their co-worker who wouldnt own up to his mistake. I have never been so offended and I will NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN. Good luck if you do.

I was helped by Lee Quintanilla who was nice and professional.They found a nail in the tire and sent me a video to showed me the nail as while as a few other things they found doing the inspection. Came into the dealership she said she was too busy to meet with us. Salesman told us there wasnt anything in stock that matched what we wanted. I had to drop my carr off without an appointment because my battery died and I was only running from a jump. Patricia got me all set up, they took my car out back and replaced the battery and cleaned my very dusty car. Everyone there was super friendly. I was in and out in an hour.

I came here with a friend to buy a car and stayed throughout the whole process. The sales person that we worked with started out pretty nice - he opened the car up for us and let us take for a drive. He seemed pretty knowledgable about the car. However, when it came time to talk numbers, he became increasingly difficult to work with. All we wanted was the out the door price of the car, broken down, on paper. He kept coming back with monthly payments and options. After 25 minutes, we finally got a price printed out from someone else. When it came to the finance person and signing all the paperwork, the person we worked with was very helpful and very friendly - no complaints there at all. After that process, we were finally sent on our way. There was no explanation of the cars features or any other help from the salesperson - just a handshake and goodbye. Overall, a very mixed experience, but Id probably come back because of the good selection here.
We are in our 10th Mazda 6 from this dealer. Honesty and reliability are two of the many attributes of their management from Sales to Service and all in between. But, it is not only Mazda side their Subaru brand is also great in reliability., both brands just work .Great job guys.🤗🤩

Didnt buy here, the salesmen was not willing to work with us on absolutely anything. Likely due to my wife and I looking too young.But the service department is top notch. From providing shuttles to work, to maintenance reminder calls and applying credits earned from other services these guys are great.

M salesman was Carlos and he did a terrific job. He was very low pressure, completely honest (I checked all his statements and they were true) and he put alot of time into helping me. Definitely the best dealership in Temecula.
Customer service is off the chain.I actually had a very good conversation with a young man named Lee.The conversation went so well started talking about God, and Man, I enjoyed the conversation immensely.Mazda is lucky to have such a bright, knowledgeable and outgoing individual on their staff.

Horrible customer service!!!!!! This past Monday I took my car in for the coolant reservoir to be changed. My consultant Patricia asked if we can leave the car for couple hours, so I did this was at 9am. Did not hear anything by 1:30pm so I call and was told she was to busy to talk to me, call back at 3:00pm shes still to busy to talk to me. Call back at 4:20 still cant get ahold of her. This has happened before so I know that I have to go down to find out what is going on. As Im on my way at 5:30 she finally calls me and tells me that they did nothing to my car and they dont even have the part and it wont be in till Wednesday. When I get there my keys are on the counter and no one is there to help so I pick up my keys and leave. Other drama happened with the other service consultant Lee. When I emailed the managment about this I get a call from Eric and he was very dismissive about it. Needless to say I will not be going back. Ive told my friends that are looking for a car not to got to Mazda its not worth it
I got a great deal on an awesome vehicle. The salesman, Tobi is great to work with. You cant go wrong by coming here.
