Ive gone to this barber shop about a half dozen times in the past year. Great staff, place is clean and welcoming. Ive had almost everyone there cut my hair and it always comes out great!

Martin did a fantastic job on my wiggly 11 year old. He listened, was super patient and expertly managed his numerous cowlicks. Definitely one of his best hair cuts ever!

Sebastian’s Barber Shop in Tarrytown is fabulous!! The interior has a great hometown feel to it that makes you feel like your going for a visit to chat with some friends. We just took our 13-month-old son to get his first haircut and it went so well!! We’re first time moms, so we were nervous and delayed it as long as we could until the ponytail was just too long. Peter was the best barber; he has experience with kids, and was great at communicating to us what we needed to do to help him cut our son’s hair and he talked with our son to make him feel comfortable, too. We loved that he let us have toys and other things on hand to help distract our son when needed - instead of feeling like we were crowding Peter and his craft, we felt welcomed. We can’t wait to go back!!!

We had two great hair cuts today, just not a cut but styled, I was very pleased, usually I have to take my Grandson for his cut and me go elsewhere, not any more......2 new stylist have joined the team,

One of my biggest concerns moving to Tarrytown after living in Brooklyn for the first 29 years of my life was finding a new hair place. I havent changed shops since 2008. Sebastians has helped the transition a lot. All of their stylists (I dont know the preferred nomenclature) know what theyre doing, and all are friendly efficient. This is where I go now.

I like this place. Decent pricing ($22 for a cut), friendly barbers, good music.Its convenient for me since its by work. Otherwise i wouldnt go out of my way.I just wish they didnt close so early.I also wish it wasnt cash only.Parking can sometimes be a pain on weekdays (its metered and scarce).But they do good work.

Sebastian (and the rest of the gang) are wonderful! They are warm and welcoming and the shop always has some great music playing. To boot, they have always done great with my hair (as a short-haired girl, thats not always the case with most places!) Go once - you wont regret it and I doubt youll go anywhere else after an experience with this shop!

These are some of the friendliest barbers youll ever meet in one of the classiest shops Ive seen. Ive been coming here for over two years and am so happy to have found this place. Saturday mornings are busy, as expected, but have also had no wait on occasion, too. Prices are reasonable.

Been coming here on an off for a few years, but just went for the last time. Atmosphere is cool, barbers are nice, but unless you come in asking for the specific kind of haircut they do well your hair just isnt going to look good. Came in with longer hair just asking for a bit off the sides and a clean up, and when I put my glasses back on theyd taken off more than half of my hair and given me some crappy vanilla ice looking cut. I want to like this place, but every time I go the cuts get worse and worse. Seriously disappointing.

They do great work at a good price. Wasnt 100% happy with a cut, went back the next day they fixed it up no charge and were very good about it. Will definitely continue to use and recommend them.

The owner Sebastian butchered my hair. I told him tidy the top, clean the edges and Blend the sides with the top. I left the shop practically skinned. This guy doesnt know how to use scissors, buzzers only. $22 was the real kick in the ass.

Im not going to this place anymore. the heavy set up doesnt know how to cut hair. doesnt have any sense of symmetry. he trimmed by eyebrows, i dont even know why be bothered. it was the the worst job ever, he made them way to short. and he didnt even fix my hair after he was finished. i dont even know why i tipped him. i dont want this to be a reflection of the other barbers, im sure theyre fine. ive had the older gentleman (who i assume is the owner) hes a good barber.
