Pro Speed is the only place I go to have my oil changed because I trust the staff to do a professional job on my vehicle. Not only are they friendly but they always do the best job possible and I will always recommend Pro Speed to anyone.

I am extremely upset about what happened after my oil change on Saturday 6/19. On Sunday I was heading out of town for trip and suddenly my engine light, oil light, etc. came on. I fortunately turned around and was able to find a mechanic who diagnosed the problem. The person who did my oil change failed to remove the old gasket and just shoved a new one in and then put in a new oil filter. My car had no oil in it and could have blown the engine. I have called the shop and the manager/owner was not in. I had to pay the mechanic and I am still concerned there may have been damage to my engine. I would appreciate hearing from someone in how you want to proceed. I have pictures, the filter with the 2 gaskets, and a video of the entire repair. Very upsetting!!

Went in for an oil change, was happy with how fast they were and a discount for women on wednesdays. Then got my car back and as I was leaving noticed that the contents of my glove compartment were dumped on the passenger side of the floor. I guess rigling through my glove compartment is part of the service? First time there and never going back

Wasnt busy, so service was quick. Oil change included checking all my fluids & topping them off, tire pressure & adding air to one, washing my windows inside & out & vacuuming the carpet. Good experience.

I honestly dont know why my past review was a 1 star. It should have been a 5. Ive been getting several of my vehicles serviced here for years. they are honest and professional. Not to mention they are usually pretty quick while doing a good job at the same time.

My service light when on, halfway up the hill from Rio Rancho to Taos, on a Sunday. Called Pro Speed first thing the next morning. What struck me was their honesty, caring and fair prices. Wish we had a Pro Speed in Rio Rancho!

The height of incompetence, I don’t understand how it can take for people to change the oil in one car, and still forget to put oil in it! I’d hate to see what it takes for them to change a lightbulb. I just ran a brand new car without oil for about a week because I took it to this place to have it changed and I made the mistake of trusting that since I only went for one thing - an oil change - they would have enough sense to replace the oil they drained. After all, I went for an oils CHANGE, not to have my oils drained so I could blow the motor in a practically brand new car! They didn’t forget to charge me for it, even noting how much they say they put in. After the check oil light came on I looked and there was not a drop! Don’t take your car here, you’re better off running it with old oil.

Ive been their twice and both times theyve treated me very well and were very efficient. Free coffee in nice cool waiting room. It took them about 20 minutes to complete an oil change and top off all the fluids. I would recommend Pro Speed Lube & Oil to everyone in Taos and travelers who may be coming through. Friendly and courteous staff.

Thorough and fast! This is a great shop to get your oil serviced. They filled my break, coolant, wiper fluid, vacuumed and were done in about 20 minutes for $53.00. My rig takes 7 quarts of oil and back home wouldve cost much more. Was very satisfied with the service, would go back.

I was greeted by an employee that was beyond rude. I asked a question and he walked away while answering in a condescending manner. I did not use their services so I can not speak to their level of workmanship but their customer service is horrible.

I came straight from my mechanic to Taos ProSpeed, Wanting to follow up a large engine repair with an oil change. My oil technician caught a huge mistake by my mechanic that would’ve caused catastrophic engine failure on the way home with my kids tonight. I have been coming here for my oil changes for over 20 years. But right now I would be on the side of a highway crying next to my burning car in 16°F weather with my kids in the dark if it weren’t for these guys. Thank you, thank you, thank you

A very good non-chain lube shop. Theyll usually get you in and out in around 45 minutes. They have great selection of lubricantes of diferent brands and also do coolant flushes and gear oil changes. They have a nice waiting room with free coffee and TV Highly recomended

My family and I have always went here but today our experience was horrible. Our oil dipstick was broken, the man who broke it had admitted to us and his boss that he broke it as he was pulling it out, and Herbert the boss was very rude well admitting that his workers have broken plenty in the past he told my husband he refused to give us the money for our dipstick which was only 10.00 dollars. The 10.00 dollars wasnt the issue today, the issue was the rude and dishonesty that Herbert had showen. Very dissapointed .
