We called morning of and they graciously took our whole family (6 of us, 5 pedis, 2 manis). My Mom uses a walker and they helped her in and out of chairs and made everything easy. It was such a positive experience!

My husband and I were very pleased with our pedicures on 12-29-2018. I had my eyebrows waxed and was also amazed at how clean/neat the technician made them. We would visit more often if they were located in our city!

I stopped in as a last minute decision to get my acrylics removed. Due to their pricing I decided to get another set. My nails look great. I will definitely be using this shop from now on.

My eyebrows were not waxed 100% I still have hair not 100% clean. But told they are good..... My nails not 100% happy. Pride needs to be taken on the work being done....

The pedicure experience was excellent, the staff was nice. But my gel/manicure a day later look like a week old. So it was a disappointing morning to know that I would be going on vacation with my hands not to my standards😕

Summary of my visit: good for the money, but to me it is worth it to pay the extra $5 and go to a salon that gives me the royal treatment feeling.I visited this establishment after finding them on Groupon. I was looking for a shellac manicure in preparation for a wedding I was in. I called the store for a same day appointment requesting 4:30. The nice lady on the phone asked if I could come at 6 instead. This put me right in the middle of rush hour, but I figured with the cost savings it was worth it. I was helped shortly after walking in by a very nice man. The selection of gel colors was maybe 30-40, mostly with glitter. I am used to going to a salon with hundreds of colors, but that was ok. The manicure itself was fine. My nails were filed round when I prefer square, but I wasn’t asked and didn’t speak up. I received two coats instead of three so I can still see through the polish, but I guess it’s ok too. There were only two people working, myself plus another being helped, and another person waiting, so I couldn’t have the manicure and pedicure at the same time to get in and out more quickly, which is what I’m used to. It took about 35 minutes for my gel manicure and I ran out of time to have a pedicure. There wasn’t any music playing, just the sound of silence and the local area news on TV.I probably won’t return here, but it really was OK.

So far so good! They are very nice and polite. My appt was at 7pm, Kim took care of my nails and started at 7:07pm. Which to me it’s not a big deal; most importantly she apologized for the 7min delay on my service. I got a gel mani, i had one 2 weeks ago on a different place which I loved BUT my mani didn’t last long. I noticed the difference: Kim cleaned my cuticles thoroughly, filed my nails exactly how I wanted and also made conversation while working. It is a tiny salon, nothing fancy but it’s clean, smelled nice and their service puts a lot of more well-known and fancy-looking places. I’ll try their dip SNS nail system next time🙂

I have been going to this spa for years. They do such a great job. They do my nails exactly how I like them. They are such a friendly staff. When I am short on time and tried other places, I end up never liking the results and always end up going back to this spa.

Horrible experience! Not only was I waiting forever while 2 others were taken care of ahead of me, I was also over charged... $32 was billed to my card before even telling me! I went in for a Fill In, not even a full set which is on $22. Needless to say this was not a good experience and it was the second time I had been over charged by them. From now own Im going to another place down on Hillsborough Ave. Good bye, Star Nails.

By far the worse salon I have ever been to and Ive been to a lot. My mom and I came in and got our nails done she got pink and white which is $35 I was getting a reg full set which is $22 I had to wait for 35 minutes before they noticed they had forgotten me but I still got them done. Then after out nails got done we left, we decided to give this salon another chance and came back for a full in which both of our were supposed to be $16 they told us $15 each when we came in and the prices are listed on their wall as you wall in😡 NOOOO! Oh we were pissed I called and made us an appointment I sat and waited for an hour and a half as they took two other people (walk ins ) before they took me I continued to wait to see if when I was going to be next my mom and I both asked who and when was mine being done but they said idk someone will do her so ok after waiting for sooo long then they come over and said they will do mine when my moms were being finished and it was 9 at night I have to get home to my son so I told them that then after me telling her that she goes to say shell give me a deal of only charging me $15 lol I its just a regular fill its already $15 Im sorry but these people are dumb . So we get our stuff and my mom proceeds to pay for hers they charged her $30 on her card she told them they need to redo it because its not $30 the same lady acted like she didnt know what we were talking about. So after waiting and being over charged I am DONE with this place😡

I always come here and my nails coms out just the way i want them nd they last abt a month and a half other places dnt even last a week im coming tommorow for my fill in love them they all do a very good jobb....i recommend
