Excellent fishing experience with Tampa Fishing Charters! I took my son and his friends to have a memorable fishing day before their High School graduation and we had a great time! The Captain and his first mate were very knowledgeable and provided great service. They are the best in the Tampa Bay Area!

If you want a fun time with the family or the boys, you need to book a reservation. We had Tampa Bay natives, Captain Rocky and Chris and they are some real salt of the earth guys.And you wont believe what we caught (in addition to Spanish Mackerel) - a 350 lb Goliath Grouper! It was The Monster of Tampa Bay! Of course we released it; but you know you are experiencing a once in a lifetime thrill when the guides get really excited!

Rocky and Chris were great! We went out to our first stop and just kept reeling in fish! At the end of the day we took some of our catch to Hooks Bar and Grill where they cooked some of it up for us. Will definitely use Tampa fishing charters again!

Tampa Fishing Charters is an amazing way to experience FL fishing at its finest. On our trip we were able to catch several different species of fish, some to eat and some very fun sport fish. Captain Rocky and his first mate Chris provided every possible service for us and made the experience fun and easy. They will put you on fish as they do their homework and know the area like the back of their hands. For me as an Angler from the midwest, it was a completely new experience but one I certainly wont forget. Whether youre a die hard fisherman like me, or completely new to the sport, Tampa Fishing Charters can make the experience a great one for you.

Incredible experience with Captain Rocky and first mate Chris! They are INCREDIBLY patient with us and had excellent customer service skills. They catered the trip to our needs and were both great company! They got us on fish quickly, showed us different knots, and tricks in the water! They answered all of our questions, taught us how to use the reels, and went over safety in the boat thoroughly. Every time our lines snapped, they were quick to have a rod ready for us so we could get back to the action! Captain Carl also was able to squeeze us in their busy schedules on the last minute so I greatly appreciate that! Great communication! You could tell the different crew members all had a great relationships with each other and it really was reflected in their demeanor when working. When we showed up to a new spot, other captains from the same charter were letting us know what was biting and sharing their baits so everyone could get a catch within minutes! They were professional, friendly, very laid back, and get you on multiple fish species!! Also, the cooler filled of cold drinks and sunscreen was an added bonus!Regardless of your experience level, I highly recommend them if you are looking for a charter for you and/or your family!

We had an amazing time with Captain Rocky and First Mate Chris! They provided us with a 5 star adventure. They handled everything for us, from rigging and baiting poles to cleaning all our catch when we came back in. I came down from Wisconsin and brought my oldest daughter and her boyfriend, along with my youngest daughter and her boyfriend who both live in Tampa. We had 5 of us on the boat and had plenty of room. We caught all kinds of fish, everything from Grouper, Jack, Speckled Trout, Catfish, Snook, Red Fish....and more. I cant recommend Tampa Fishing Charters enough! We will definitely be going out with them again.

Rocky and Chris were the goats! They were super cool to talk to and they taught us a ton about angling. We were put in a few great spots, we caught 3 spanish makerel, 3 snook, a sea trout, a lemon shark and a bonnet shark.Will very likely be coming back and requesting these guys!

Took a charter today with some friends, 3 of us, Captain Carl and Luke. Afternoon fishing trip of a lifetime! I failed to bring in the first monster snook of the day - on the first cast! The Captain spent a few minutes teaching all of us how to unlearn a lifetime of bad habits and then it was on. We caught red fish after red fish, snook after snook it was incredible. The Captain and his mate were amazing, patient and knowledgeable. My buddies have been fishing up and down the coast for years and they learned more in one afternoon, than in years of trying to get it right on their own. After having a blast with the Snook, we headed out after mackerel. 3 giant mackerel and a shark are on their way home with us. An awesome day on the water with a great crew. Six thumbs up.

CAPTAIN ROCKY IS THE MAN!!! Took my father out for a 4 hour trip. My father has been fishing his entire life, so the bar was set high. Rocky did NOT disappoint. He put us on fish early and ALL day. Capt Carl and Luke took us on the fishing trip of a lifetime. They put us on fish almost immediately after arriving at our destination and the action was nearly non-stop for the next 4 hours. Capt Carl and Luke were patient, professional, competent and very willing to teach us things if we were willing to listen. We brought in flounder, snook, redfish, spanish mackerel and shark. This was an unbelievable trip that far surpassed all of my expectations and I will be booking all of my future charters with them.

I took my 6 year old son out with Captain Carl. It was an incredible experience. We caught a variety of fish in several locations. We caught black tip shark, mackerel, snook, trout, and more. They worked really well with my son amd were very patient. Both guys were very nice and patient. I could not recommend them enough.

My brother and I spent 4 hours with captain Carl and Luke and and had the best fishing experience ever. We caught 8 different species and Captain Carl made sure that we both caught our first snook. Glad we booked with him and will again.

We could not have had a better time with Captain Carl and Luke on our charter. They were friendly, very knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. We were taken to see dolphins, manatees, and sting rays. We caught bonnet head sharks and Spanish mackerel. The highlight of the trip was a 15+ minute battle with a yellow tail carvelle jack. Our eight year old had a fantastic time not only catching fish but learning all about the process of fishing. When we got back to land the guys cut our caught fish into filets to take home. The true test of a good trip - time just flew by. Those 4 hours on the water felt like 1. We will definitely be back to enjoy this great experience again.

We went out early May 7th. The crew was great! We caught a couple of large Cobia and Spanish Mackeral. Went in closer to shore and hooked a ton of Snook. Great experience for my sons and son-in-law. I had a great time.

Went fishing for our son’s 10th birthday. Booked the 8am charter with Capt Rocky & first mate Chris. They were outstanding! Had us out on the water right on time and found a couple great fishing places. They took exceptional care of us..our lines were hot! Lots of fish., several different species. Caught many keepers to take home with us. Upon returning to the docks, Capt Rocky cleaved and packed our fish for travel home. We even took a bag to a nearby restaurant to prepare a fresh fish lunch. Doesn’t get any better than that. Our son had such a blast and couldn’t get over all the fish he reeled in. Said it was “the best day ever” and I agree. Vermonters visiting colleges in Tampa, Captain Carl was the only charter to call back when we were searching for a fishing charter. Called again one week out, called the night before and called the day of to make sure we were on the same page. It was a beautiful sunny warm day when we got to the boat. Captain Carl and a 1st mate Robbie guided us throughout the bay putting us on fishing within ten minutes and kept the action up throughout the day. After plenty of success in the open bay he moved the boat inshore and we targeted an entirely different set of species. Ended the day with a trophy red fish, three Spanish mackerel for dinner, and countless others all of which we didnt keep. All in all a stellar day made better by the hospitable gesture of Captain Carl making dinner reservations for the best fish dinner of our lives. Great day on the water, highly recommend.

Went out around the bay last week and caught more fish than I could’ve hoped to, everyone on the boat did! These guys are the best, each spot we went too we were catching them left and right all different kinds too.. Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Bonnet head shark, Snook, jack, speckled sea trout, some rays, a cobia . Got the Tampa Bay grand slam my first time fishing in Florida and had another one on the boat too! My brother and I took our 3 boys fishing today with Tampa Fishing Charter. They were awesome. We caught a ton of fish that included Snook, trout, shark, blue fish. Captain was super knowledgeable and great with our 3 boys. We cant wait to book another trip.

Had a great time on the half day trip. This was our second trip with them. Our group had five people and each person caught at least one shark and keeper sheepshead. Also, got a nice spanish mackerel and a several 20 inch snook. Really fun - enjoyed so many different types of fishing in one trip (flats, reef, shark). Captain and mate were very nice and accommodating and truly put in their best effort for us to catch some fish and have a great time. Overall, we will be using this captain in the future and highly recommend them.
