We had a great experience with Gulfside Fishing Charters! Took my 3 boys (ages 6, 8 and 19) and they loved every minute. Had plenty of opportunities to catch fish, ask questions and even swim at the sandbar. Wes was an incredible guide and we highly recommend!

This charter experience was very enjoyable. Easy to get to location, ample parking, short walk to the boats. Captain was gassed up, iced, up and ready to run earlier than the appointment time. Capt. Wes is very friendly and easy going. He is there to serve the clients and put them in position to catch fish. We caught plenty of fish to eat and plenty of fish to photograph, and release. Fun day. We will definitely book with Capt. Wes again.

Capt Wes is truly amazing. He is very personable, knows the waters. We were catching fish all morning during our four hour trip. My three boys (ages 14, 12 & 11) did not want the trip to end after catching Mackerel, Trout, Snook and Ladyfish. A few years ago we chartered a boat while in Hawaii and did not catch a single fish. Capt Wes has by boys excited about deep sea fishing again. We highly recommend Capt Wes Burns!

We had a blast fishing with Wes. He took us to the hot spots. Baited all of our lines multiple times with bait. Cast and reeled them in!! Then we hung out for a little at the sand bar, Drank some cold ones. Great experience, can’t wait to do it again!

Wes did a great job of putting us on the fish. We all caught lots of speckled trout and snook. Live bait was shrimp and green backs. Rods and reels were perfect, light tackle made for fun reeling those fish in. We did a 1/2 day charter out of Hula Bay. My 6 year old son fished with Capt. Wes at fishing camp and since we all like to fish, we decided to do a family charter for the 4 of us. Thanks for a great time Wes. We will be back.

Captain Burns was excellent! Ive done enough fishing and guided tours that I know when the guide is working hard and trying. Captain Burns is a true fisherman and cares about his clients. Captain Burns put us on the fish! Boats all around us were catching a few (or none), but we kept bringing them in. Captain Burns knows the area, put us on fish, was professional, and catered the trip to our wants. I Highly Recommend Captain Burns for your guided fishing trip.

Went out on Sunday morning with Captain Wes and had an amazing time. He knows the waters like the back of his hand and had us on fish in no time. We caught some Reds and Snook- and had a blast. Captain Wes was so helpful in baiting hooks and even casting lines to help us get to the fish. I will be going out with him again for sure! I recently went out on a four hour charter with Capt. Wes Burns and it was amazing! His near 20 years of experience truly shows in his ability to find the spots where all kinds of hungry fish hang out. We caught and released dozens of large snook and then some giant sea trout that I was able to take home for dinner. Capt. Wes is very professional yet also a fun Capt. for your fishing adventures. We were on multiple species of fish the whole trip. If the fish weren’t there we moved. Captain burns was very enjoyable and worked well with my son. We never had to wait for bait. I have been on several other trips with in shore captains and he is the best.

He put us right on some beautiful snook and we caught 25+ fish all averaging about 15inches!!! Even when he had some technical difficulties it didnt put a damper on all the fun we had! Wes was my captain for the All Heroes Open Fishing tournament. Had an amazing time and he was a great Captain. Would fish with him anytime.

My brother and I had a great time. Capt. Wes really knows the area. His 16 years experience kept us busy all day. We told him what type of fishing we wanted and he put us on them and more. It was nice to walk up to the dock jump on the boat and start pulling in snook and red fish within 20 minutes.

Absolutely terrific fishing charters. Capt. Wes keeps it fun and allows you to do as much as you are comfortable with. We have gone with him several times now and have always caught fish. Snook Redfish and trout are the staples. Its not easy finding a guide you can count on. We tried a bunch of guides before meeting Wes. and he is truly a cut above. If you like inshore fishing or want to give it a shot we cant recommend Capt Wes enough.Marty and Denise Palmer

Captain Wes Burns puts on a fantastic fishing trip. We were in town for a Surveying conference and arranged a small fishing tournament. There were 8 boats in total. Our boat came home with 2 of the 3 fish categories Snook and Redfish. We only missed the Trout by an inch. 3 of the 4 fisherman on board got inshore slams (Trout, Redfish & Snook). Most of the other boats didnt even catch fish that day. I would highly recomed Captain Wes Burns for your next fishing adventure.
