Rebecca is incredibly experienced in her craft. She is very knowledgeable about each hospital, doctor, and knows how to support each mom/family in their very own journey. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to hire her again for my family. She supported all of us in our most recent birth of my son. If you want a doula, hire this woman with confidence because she is the absolute best. I wish I had her during my first child’s birth. Thank you Rebecca! ❤️❤️
She is amazing at what she does! I have used her services for my last two child births.
Rebecca Gay is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet! You talk to her for two minutes and you fall in love and want her to be your best friend! I had her encapsulate my placenta into pills and it was worth every penny! She had them to my hospital room next day and my milk came in before I left the hospital!! ❤️ She is completely amazing and I rave about and recommend her to everyone I know!!
Never returned my call.
I hired Rebecca at 38 weeks pregnant and wished I would have done so sooner. From our very first phone conversation she was incredibly supportive and informative without being overbearing. She made all the difference in making my daughters birth a wonderful experience that I will remember fondly.
I contacted Rebecca while I was 8 months pregnant with my son. My husband is in the military and was going to be away for training during the time of the birth. With not having family near me I was so worried about through labor and delivery alone. I could not be more happy that I did. Since the first time I met with her to see if how we meshed I was beyond happy to met someone that I knew was going to become an important part of my life. Rebecca was always available when I had questions or concerns. My goal was to have a natural hospital birth.Due to some complications I ended up needing to be induced. With information from Rebecca I was able to go with the most natural approach for a starter. There were several changes to my birth plan due to complications that came up but Rebecca was so supportive and knowledgeable to any questions I had. Never once did I feel unsupported of changes that came along.Rebecca was amazing with talking me through each of my contractions and keeping me focused on getting through the one I was on. As things progressed and became more difficult Rebecca was there. Talking me through, helping massage my back and hips with all the pain I was having with my back labor and keeping me going.Without Rebeccas support, encouragement and guideance I would not have made it through the difficult labor and delivery. While I did end up having a few interventions in my labor, I did make it through without pain medication. And it is because of her. So many times I thought and said I cant do this and she reminded me, Yes, you can. She kept me going.I would highly recommend Rebecca to anyone that wants a support person that will support you no matter what you choose in your labor and delivery. She is a treasured person in my life and will always have a special place in my heart. My husband is so thankful that I had someone there with me when he couldnt be.
Hands down, Rebecca was the best choice i made during my pregnancy and delivery. From the first phone interview Rebecca was there day and night to answer my questions and help me prepare for my delivery. Rebecca was my advocate and always had me and the babys best interests at heart! With Rebecca i felt totally prepared for my delivery. The experience was an amazing right of passage. The best part...i have total confidence that my birth plan was followed as closely as possible. I have no regrets and no questions about why certain decisions were made because Rebecca was there with us. Im looking foward to the birth of my next child (one day:) and having Rebecca by my side!Another plus...my husband loved her and she made sure he was active (very active) during my pregnancy and delivery. He was a huge part of the miracle of our daughters birth!Id recommend Rebecca to every pregnant women regardless of their desire to hire a doula. Shes that important and shes that good!!
Rebecca literally saved my labor/delivery experience! Im a procrastinator, so of course I was already 39 weeks pregnant when I contacted her but she did not hesitate to step in and support me! Rebecca gave me a sense of confidence that was a Godsend! She told me step by step what to expect during labor and gave me techniqies that got me through the contractions to a natural birth. Even after delivery, Rebecca has been constant support with breastfeeding advice and consult about my own personal recovery. I am forever grateful for her existence and the value she has brought to my life in transitioning to motherhood. She is hands down THE BEST!
Rebecca is a fabulous doula! This was my first pregnancy and I didnt know what to expect. Rebecca was very knowledgeable and helpful. She has such a wonderful personality and she is very comfortable to be around. Her childbirth class was so helpful and packed with useful information. I also loved that fact that the class took place in the comfort of my own home. My husband and I both valued the information she had to offer. I appreciated her timely responses throughout our communications. During my labor, Rebecca was a calming presence. She was a great motivator, but in a gentle and peaceful way. She was such a great asset for me during my pregnancy and my labor and delivery. I would absolutely recommend Rebecca to anyone who wants a doula!
Becca is the most amazing in the world. I dont know that I could have done it without her. Especially because my loving hubby passed out during the final pushes so not only was she coaching me, but she was swift kicking him in the butt with a dose of smelling salts so he wouldnt miss being able to yell and scream at the birth of his son. Becca was supportive of me and all of my decisions as a parent from the day that I contacted her, she always responded whenever I needed her and never fails to be there to this day and my son is a year an a half old now. We are actually working on expanding our family for a second time and know for sure that Becca will be there on the day of! WE LOVE YOU AUNTIE BECCA! XOXOXOXOXO
When I found out I was going to be a first time mom at the age of 36 I felt I needed someone to teach me all the things I didnt know about birth and pregnancy. My family lives in Ohio and my childs father works (and lives part time) in North Carolina so I was feeling very alone. I hired Rebecca right away after meeting her, I knew I would not be alone in my birth process even if my family members were not present if she was there. Rebecca gave a birthing class for me and my Birth Team (Atlanta friends/babys dad) so we knew what to expect emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually. She not only taught me how to get through labor and delivery but also my team how to support me through any sights, sounds or smells that might occur along the way. She brought up things we had not thought about, helped us organize my birth plan and advocate for the kind of birth I wanted to have. Rebecca was on call for questions 24/7 and actually got after me for not calling her enough! Not only would I recommend Rebecca for any 1st time mom, I will have her as part of my team for every baby I have moving forward. After my daughter was born Rebecca encapsulated my placenta and came to my home to deliver the pills and help me with breastfeeding. This added service was very worth the money and I will do it again.
Rebecca is the most amazing doula. I want every mom to know even if you have a csection a doula can be such a big help and support. I will never forget not being ale to move my daughter right to have her latch for the first time and Rebecca knowing exactly what to do and helped us get our first feed done. She has capsulated both my placenta and my best friends and the both of us loved our experience and saw major benefits! There is just something about Rebecca and the way she is that lets you know you are safe and in the very best hands with her.
You can stop looking for a Doula now! Rebecca Gay is the BEST DOULA you can find. She went above and beyond in my pregnancy and spent hours and days to help as a patient advocate in the middle of the night while I had to have a medical c-section. She was very comforting for my husband to have to talk about my healthy status while I was suffering low blood pressure, a fever, not taking in enough oxygen and had been without food for two days with early labor that didnt amount to anything, plus how to navigate the hospitals procedures.I HIGHLY recommend her. Shes easy to work with and is always available when called or texted. I was unsure about doing placenta encapsulation with no medical research to back it up but at the end decided for it since it was only $200. Im glad I did. I think its helping me with some energy in the morning.Rebecca also took great pics for me while I was in surgery. I wasnt sure who in my family would be available at my delivery so knowing for sure I had my doula the very least should my husband faint or something was reassuring and worth it. We thank God we had Rebecca who also worked with my Doctor Dr. Bootstaylor to make sure things were done as best as possible for my interest.Hiring a Doula and especially hiring Rebecca Gay was definitely one of my best decisions in my birth plan, which didnt go as planned but could have been much worst given the situation. We are blessed with a healthy baby and I am on the road to a great recovery now. We thank Jesus for giving us Rebecca during a surprisingly challenging time where I was in the hospital for 5 days, including 1 day in ICU.
