Did they close down or just move locations?

I have had nothing but good experience with this business. True story, one time a a friend and myself dropped off a head to get it machined so that I could finish a head gasket replacement on one of my cars. We went out to eat before heading home, after eating we get a call that the head was done and we could pick it up. Unlike other machine shops i have worked with sometimes they can be done in hours vs weeks and they even do it at a better price! Granted this all depends on the work load they have going on but I not once have had a bad experience with Rays performance out of the multiple times I have used their services. I will continue going back to them.

So I am seeing a lot of 5 and 4 stars. the service seem good, however They have my cylinder heads there over 4 months now, cant get it done because of a pilot part. i light of customer service are they only using 1 manufacture for parts. ? for months with all the good feed back I am reading from previous customers. why not try the original manufacturing company or another one of hundreds of others for my part. over 4 months not ill not have my boat before the 4th of July. I have no intention of saying anything bad from this company but Covid19 is not the reason to have my parts there for months.

I have had nothing but time any money here. The guys here at Rays Performance have been doing INCREDIBLE work! I absolutely love the way everything is coming out. Yeah its taken some time, but what can you expect from a popular shop with limited resources but hey Im not complaining! Everyone here has done quality work at a pretty good price. Im doing my Type R head, LS block, ordered my forged internals, crank work and cam work here. All of it perfect. If you have time and money i seriously recommend these guys. TWO THUMBS WAY UP!

As of right now they will have had my B18C block for about 7-8 months. When I call to find out how much longer until I can get my block back, I am told that they are getting ready to line hone it with several other blocks. They tell me that they will have it done within a week. then 4 weeks go by and the same story. These guys did WONDERFUL work with my B16 head, but now I cant seem to get them to finish my block so I can get my car on the road again. I will edit this review when I see the work completed properly. I am not sure if I will ever use these guys again.

Didnt set piston to wall clearance correctly on a newbuilt engine, turn around time was very slow, new pistons dmg along with the sleeves. Save yourself the headache and look for machine work elsewhere.

Dropped off a b series flywheel to be re surfaced not bad price .. they called me 2 hours later to advise me that my flywheel was super damaged like i figured it was the offer me another one they had in shop and resurfaced it for me all for good price its in car 0 issues

I been in the car business for 20 years plus and I have never seen a business so inconsistent with their work and price I had heard bad things about them but I use to deal all the time with the owner Ray not the son but now the son is the one running what they called a business,If you want to save your self some money in the long run and headache go somewhere else.

The owner or man in front is very rude and despotic, he has no idea what customer service is, changes prices, accepts jobs with previous deposits but delivers them undone and takes time to deliver the deposit .
