My Pomeranian passed away at 11 at night and this was the only place near me that was opened, so I gave it a chance. I was so distraught I didnt read anything about it. Apparently theyll pick your pet up from your house/vet; because I didnt know this I just showed up and called. They arent in the best of neighborhoods, so I was a little nervous, but the lady on the phone was extremely sweet and understanding and sent someone to the building. The gentleman who took care of all of the paper work was very nice as well and didnt rush the process or try to take my dog away and usher me out. I also bought a beautiful urn from them with a name plate. Then when I went to pick him up, the woman who brought him to me was very compassionate and kept telling me she was sorry for my loss and even gave me a hug. I hope I dont have to anytime soon, but I will definitely bring my other pets here when that time comes. Thank you all for everything you did for me and my baby

We run a small pet rescue, and sometimes nothing can be done to save these little souls. Honor Thy Pet has always been professional and sympathetic. I never thought Id recover when I had to put my 20 year old cat down over a week ago. She was my best friend. I had never done a traditional burial service for a pet. I really didnt know what an amazing experience I was missing... or just how much it would help. Typically, burying a pet is the last thing I want to remember. Its just something that needs to be done... and it has never been something that actually helped the healing process. Honestly, it really just made me feel even worse. Now, after having my cat memorialized in a beautiful place that has so much respect for your loved one, I see the importance of having a real burial service in a memorial park. Honor Thy Pet really does care for your loved one. Respect and compassion fill the place. And the people are SO considerate. The whole process gave a format for grieving my loss with family and loved ones. It REALLY helped and was the least I could do for my friend who had given me so much joy through her life. I should also mention that they pick your pet up very quickly and the person who came to my house couldnt have been more respectful. Every part of this process helped me. I still miss my cat but I do feel like there has been some real closure and that has helped so much in not getting hung up on those final, rough days that were so horrible but to think about all of the joy and love my cat brought me. Beautiful place, and the compassion and care from the staff made this difficult process so much easier. Thank you for caring for our pet as much as we do. We lost our poodle early in the morning near 6 am, and we were able to call right away and plan our next steps. They came and picked up our baby and planned our burial the next day. Took such good care of our Buddie and followed our requests as far as what we wanted him buried in and what toys we wanted him to be buried with. They were so accommodating. Thankful for places like this, and the owner said he makes sure he is there for every burial to meet the family. Such a nice place.

Recently we had to make the terrible decision to put down our dear family dog Shasta. One of my children made the suggestion to pursue cremation and we chose Honor Thy Pet. This was such a sad, horrible time for our family and this place left me in aww. They were extremely caring and I cant even describe the care they gave when they came to my house on a Sunday within an hour to pick up our sweet girl. My daughter just had to put down her Kitty of 19 years and it was one of the most traumatizing things we have ever been through. We had Kitty cremated at Honor Thy Pet and they were so caring and put Kitty in a beautiful urn with a certificate honoring him. They were so caring as if it were their own kitty being taken care of. I cannot speak highly enough of them and their kindness.

This place is amazing. Their customer service from start to finish was absolutely wonderful during my most difficult time in life. Once I received the beautiful red box filled with ashes, it made me cry and smile at the same time. All the little extra touches that they provide and go out of their way just helps so much and gives comfort when you need it the most. I would highly recommend them.

They are very careful in their conversation to show respect to your newly lost loved one. I went there in person to deliver a personal item to include in our pets Cremation which they were happy to accommodate for me. I found reasonable costs on the items such as urns, pendants and the special touches like the engraving on plaques etc. So easy to talk to and they listened as I mentioned how my pets have been to us and others.Their job is to discuss the internment of your pet, but they were very caring when I went out the subject, listening to me. explain how we felt & wished to honor our newly deceasee pet. I used the transport & cremation services after my daughters dog whom passed away in the Valrico area. We wanted a honest & a compassion company for our Mickey and they gave us just that and more.The staff were friendly, compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. The staff is kind and understanding that its hard to communicate well after a loss, so they keep it short and sweet for you. Both our girls are in beautiful urns that we can have with our family forever.Our dog was brought here through lap of love veterinary services. I feel she was treated with respect by all involved. They let her keep her ball with her that she passed away holding, which meant the world to our family. When we picked her remains up they made it short and sweet, the box with her name engraved is beautiful. The employees were all kind and showed empathy for our loss. I would recommend them to anyone needing this service.

I just lost my beardie earlier this week, and he was the first pet I was completely attached to, so his passing has really broken my heart. When our little Miracle died it was incredibly hard for us. Honor Thy Pet was not only helpful to us through the whole process but they were incredibly caring and compassionate. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Sadly my most wonderful friend, aged and poorly, blind and deaf met with a tragic and soul-breaking drowning. The positive is that they did answer the phone in night, they did come get my precious old man. But from there it was downhill. They were unsure as when he would be cremated or when they would return him. They switched days 3 times, and I was so broken with grief at that time, my best friend had to call from the EU to get a time of when he would be returned. After going through the covid decontamination that is our world today (nothing to do with them) I brought his cheapie little bag inside after it was returned a week later. I WAS HORRIFIED to see they got my dogs last name WRONG, on everything. That about broke my soul as the persons last name they used was responsible in part for this accident, so not something I needed to see. The box is small and cheap, (not that he was a big dog at all) and plague on his box is barely readable. I could have scratched this on a piece of tin can and glued it on. Im older and have lost other dogs to old age and their plague and boxes look so much nicer, this just brought more unneeded tears to me. My most special guy, a tragic accident and memorialized like meh, will do the bare minimum and steal your money. They did do a paw print, (For extra of course) but since my dog was a drowning he was bloated and I could tell that in the paw-print which is much bigger than his foot was in life. Could they not have let him dried out a bit?? The pawprint looks very cheap and fragile, picture what your first grader might do with playdoh and its just as fragile so I am panicked over it getting broken. And its tossed in a 10cent amazon type gift favor bag, (WHY NOT PUT IN IN A BOX WITH COTTON given how fragile it is??) Why not use resin or seal it in something to make it sturdier. This is made out of Amazon clay or such. So now, though I am sure these people are nice, I feel ripped off and my dog does not have a proper (and what was paid for) memorial/urn/box/plague. And the suffering I had to go through with their messed up times. So though I will only give one star, 0 if I could, I still want to thank these folks for taking care of my dog, I do hope its him in there, because the rest of the quality is completely lacking. Just when my grief started to ease, seeing this bad quality, wrong name, all after them being unclear on time to return him, has me in tears that were subsiding all over again. I could never recommend unless you have a lot of money and very low standards. Throwing in a tiny pack of wildflower felt like an insult. The last place I used when I lost my other best buddy to old age, gave real dried wildflowers + seeds, a lovely card, a nice clipping of his tail hair and the box and plague are gorgeous (and it was half the price and they had no issues on time of when they were picking up and dropping off). The difference, night and day. But, at least hes home and I will say thank you to these folks for getting the job done, even though it was a really bad job and I just have so much anger in my heart about the name mess up.

I dont think ever in my life have I been treated with such genuine, kindness & compassion. One of the worst moments of my life but I am so thankful for HTP and the staff. My boyfriend made initial arrangements for our beloved Dogue de Bordeaux, Kingston, due to many health complications he was enduring. I would highly recommend. During COVID19 we needed to make a big decision about our 12 year old Dallas. He was suffering. I called others and could not accommodate for 2 days, we could not wait. I left a message with this service, thinking they would not call me back, but they did within an hour and they were at my house within 3 hours. So greatful for their service and prompt service. Our beloved dog passed at 11:30 pm and they came out immediately after we called. They were professional and the experience was identical to the experience I encountered after my Uncle passed away. I use to work at Honor Thy Pet, so I knew in our time of need, there would be nowhere else to bring our fur baby, Mena. Even with COVID happening, they wore masks and social distanced. I have no words to express how grateful I am for this company. I lost my fur baby Shadow at 14 years old on Sunday and it was short notice, the company worked with us very well and was very considerate the whole step of the way. I called a few different places but What impacted me and made me choose them was the first time that I called was that they asked for his name and they showed compassion the whole time. The person that came to pick him up was very respectful and professional, they gave my family and I time alone to say our final goodbyes. The process of the cremation was quick and they kept in contact with us the whole step of the way, i was touched when we went to pick his ashes up, when we walked in there was a ceremony they had prepared for shadow, there was a small room where they had everything prepared with his cremation certificate, hair, and paw print, it was all set up as if it was an actual ceremony where they gave us the time we needed and there was no rush at all for us to take him home, they honored him in a beautiful way. I’m so thankful for them and everything they have done for my baby and my family.

I was preparing for the dreaded day that I would have to say see you later to my 14 year old chihuahua. I contacted honor they pet they told me of their services, what they offered, and told me of their options. Unfortunately that day I dreaded was that day. I took him to the vet before I had a chance to call them back. To my delight the vet I went to used them. I was just expecting to get the ashes back in a plastic container. When I received him back he was placed in a gorgeous wooden box, his little paw print in plaster with his name neatly printed above it. They also included a wildflower card and a few other things. To say I was more than impressed and touched with the sentiments and loving care with which they treated me and my sweet dog would be an understatement. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

My experience here has been most exceptional! Sadly with a heavy heart my 12-year-old Chihuahua Chippy passed away last week. We lost our dog suddenly last night, 1/12/19. It was 1:30 am and my husband and I were both very upset. I called honor thy pet and the woman I spoke with on the phone was very sincere and helpful. It only took an hour for someone to come to our home to take our baby for cremation. Eric Valerio was very kind and informative on what was to happen next when he arrived. He was so gentle in making sure our boy left us peacefully, even making sure his head was rested on a blanket folded into a pillow. I want to thank them for the hard work they do and making it as heart felt and smooth as possible during such a difficult time. We have used Honor Thy Pet twice. They are very gentle, compassionate and accommodating. Also they provide a certificate and a lock of hair. They can do a paw imprint as an add on and have a good selection of urns. They come to the home soon after calling. I would highly recommend their services.

On one of our worst days, Melanie and Nick were very understanding, caring, and so helpful. We had just lost our 150lbs Great Dane dogson, Hugo. Melanie was able to help me even though I was balling my eyes out and could barely form a sentence. Nick arrived exactly as scheduled. He walked us through the process, didnt rush us, gave us time to say good-bye before taking our best friend of 9yrs away. We picked up our Hugo a few days later (you have the option to have your loved ones ashes brought to your home or veterinary office). Melanie was there to greet us, took us into a private room where we were given Hugos urn, ceramic paw print, and fur clipping. We will forever be greatful for the compassionate, respectful way Honor Thy Pet treated Hugo, my husband, and myself.

We Recently lost our family dog of 14 years. My wife and I were both very Distraught and confused in the aftermath. Neither of us knew what to do with our 75 pound baby’s body after her soul left it. Honor thy Pet made this awful situation much less of a burden by giving us options on services, and they came to the house so unbelievably fast. Our Pick up guy, Alex was very sympathetic and kind. Anytime you have to make a decision like this, it’s going to be rough. Honor thy Pet makes it less rough. A+

My cat Pumpkin passed away Thursday, February 26th 2020. I picked her up Tuesday March 2nd 2020. They delivered when they said they would 3-5 business days. Mitchell Willams wrapped my baby like a baby - Thank you! Jen presented Pumpkin to me in a kind, compassionate manner - Thank You so much!! Sometimes people act as though animals are nothing more than that..an animal. Pumpkin was my baby and because of the way Honor Thy Pet has treated me and Pumpkin and I have given Honor Thy Pet 5 referrals and they have given other people your name and number. If I ever get another pet and they pass away I know who I will call.

Our best friend Molly (lab mix) pasted away recently. We called Honor thy Pet Cremation Services to have her cremated. They were so kind and lovely not only over the phone, but when they picked her up and when we went to pick up her ashes... I would recommend them to anyone that needs this service. We had a paw print done which is just awesome...

Honor Thy Pet did such an amazing job with our dog, Ed. The staff was very kind and professional. We chose a beautiful urn for the ashes and also did a stone paw print and tuft of hair. Everything was executed extremely well and we were grateful for their attention to detail and compassion. I would highly recommend their services; they made the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be under the circumstances. Thank you.

My Quaker Parrot Eddie passed away suddenly four days ago, and I was devastated. I didnt want to bury him in the backyard, so we called Honor Thy Pet and they picked him up within the hour and delivered his ashes back to me today. They were very respectful, dignified and sympathetic during the pick up and the return of the cremains. I have two elderly dogs and I will definitely use Honor Thy Pet again when their time comes to cross the rainbow bridge.

Unfortunately, I am writing review about this place because I used them when my 11 year old golden retriever had to be put to sleep. I cannot say enough good things about this place !!!! I was out of town for business and had to have my dog sitters put my boy down, I was so upset that I could not be there for him, ugh. When I called them and told them my situation and that I was rushing to get back into town, they actually had someone meet me there on a day they were closed to I could say goodbye to my loved one........They also did a great job with the cremation process. They provided locks of hair and paw prints in plaster. These people really care about you and your pets.......Thank you for making this process easier on us.

We lost our eldest fur baby on Tuesday. He was soon to be 17. We thought we were prepared but it was still devastating. The people we worked with at Honor Thy Pet were wonderful. They were incredibly compassionate and comforting. They made sure we knew all they offered while also letting us know there was no rush as they understood how important these decisions are. They were quick to return calls and constantly reminded us that we could call at any time should we have further questions. When they brought him home we were so moved by the small momentos and presentation of our Rascals ashes and how they even after everthing was done took the time to ask how we were doing. These are very special people and this is a beautiful service they are performing.

I recently lost Patches, my cat that I had bottle fed as a kitten and lived with for 15 years. I have used Honor Thy Pet with her brother Rocky and another cat that I had so of course I called them for Patches. She passed away on a Saturday and I called them on Sunday to see about making an appointment for Monday. I was told that they could pick her up from my home which they did. The driver arrived and told me to take my time with her, I carried her to the van and he put a sheet on the front seat and told me that she would ride there. He was very sweet and kind in my time of need. In the years that I have used Honor Thy Pet service I have been pleased with not only how I was treated but also how my pet(s)were treated as well. I was lucky to find Honor Thy Pet through Lap Of Love for my 17 year old Pom. By my 2nd day without him I realized I could not be without him in my home. I called Honor Thy Pet. They expedited their services to accommodate my needs. I had my baby back within a few days to make it through Labor Day weekend. The staff spent extra time and effort to make it so that I could bring my boy home. There is nothing more difficult than grieving a pet companion, and Honor Thy Pet respects that sentiment 120%. They called early to help me, they guided me in to their location, they offered counsel, explained efficacy, and soothed with sympathetic poems and info on pet bereavement. We are devastated since the loss of our cat, Charley. This company was so helpful. Having never lost a pet, I didn’t know what to do. They came over within 2 hours, (on a Sunday) and everyone was very kind and thoughtful and after Charley was cremated, they brought him back home to us. The help we received from the staff at Honor Thy Pet made an extremely difficult time a little easier. If you have suffered a loss like this, I would recommend this company.

I just wanted to thank you for your service in my time of need. My friend and companion, Buster, passed on May 20. You called me on Wednesday, May 23 to discuss my options. The people I spoke with on the phone were friendly and compassionate. I got a call from Blue Pearl on May 29 to tell me Busters remains were ready to be taken home. I fully expected them to hand me a cardboard box. I had no idea what to expect. I was blown away with what your service provides. The wooden box urn with picture that I ordered is beautiful. It was in a beautiful blue bag. The paw print in clay was in there. There was a beautiful certificate in there as well and a couple of other things. I was truly blown away.You provide a great service at a difficult time. I have no doubt that you treated Buster with respect and took care of him as well as I would have. I cant thank you enough for providing this service and for the respect you paid to Buster and myself.Thank you so much. I truly appreciate it.

We recently lost our beloved Siamese, Elmo. I contacted several cremation services, but Carmella at Honor Thy Pet was so caring on the phone that it was a no-brainer for us. They made special accommodations for us to witness the cremation, on a Saturday even! Shawn was waiting for us when we arrived, dressed very professionally. They allowed us time to say our final goodbyes and allowed us to control the pace, step by step. What a superb job by all involved. Thank you!

I had a lab mix for over 11 years unfortunately had to put her down due to a herniated disc was literally one of the hardest things Ive ever had to do after she was no longer with us I received a nice card and certificate from this establishment I thought it was wonderful and sweet that we were able to have closure after losing such a beloved family member I just wanted to personally thank all the staff for their hard work and kindness through such a troubling time I highly recommend their services thanks again from the Lopes family

I am very pleased with the considerate and professional service provide when we lost our dog. Although, I didnt meet them directly, Lap of Love handled the transport to them, the call I received from them, the monogrammed urn they provided and the additional unexpected thoughtful items they included surpassed my expectations. If, unfortunately, you are in need of their services, I think they are great.

Called them at 8:00 am on a Holiday weekend and they were there about 20 minutes later. Treated my dog with the utmost respect and answered all the questions I had. Didnt rush the process, it was all on my terms and times. Pickup was also very caring. Anyone who suffers a loss of a pet knows it is part of the family, and these guys treat it this way too. Would recommend them to anyone!

This company is by far the best out there.We went to Blue Pearl with our 18 year old Shihzhu, Scrappy. In such an awful/traumatizing time, we just got Scrap back today and my bf and I were brought to tears. The actual visit to Blue Pearl was nothing to talk about, but the services provided by Honor Thu Pet was above and beyond. We initially had no clue what we were paying for. They just gave us a cost for euth/cremation and we went with it(neither one of us were in the right mind... I truly thought our baby was coming home with us that night) 3 days after Scrap died we came up with the remainder of the $ and went to take care of our buddy for the last time we would ever get. That is when we actually asked what the the 📦 included... What was our boy coming home in? The receptionist told showed us a pamphlet and showed us the beautiful red box. Oh my goodness..... I just got home from work, and my bf had already went to pick him up from BP. When I started going through the package I lost it. The urn, the paw print, the flowers, rosemary, card, and certificate were so so Soooo amazing. Absolutely perfect. Thank you guys so much. This is the first time we have had to use your services, but they are so amazing. I would recommend to any and everyone. Thank you so much to the entire crew. You have allowed us to grieve and remember our boy. That way we can start healing.

I am very happy that I chose Honor Thy Pet for the cremation of my dog Buddy. Because of medical complications I had my cocker spaniel put to sleep on the 28th of Dec 2017. Honor Thy Pet picked up my dog from my vet. They returned the urn with the remains a few days later. I picked up the urn from vet. It was in a cloth black bag with tissue paper on the top. The urn is beautiful and just what I ordered. They also gave me a heart shaped plaque with a paw print on it. Above the paw print is the name Buddy I am not sure if it is actually the footprint of my dog. It was an unexpected but appreciated surprise. I know if I ever go through this again I would not hesitate for a minute to call Honor Thy Pet. I have told all my friends to pass the word about what an honor it was to have this company take care of my sweet Buddy.

My Shelby lost her life to cancer & passed away at home. Needless to say I was devastated. From the first phone call to picking my baby up, the staff of Honor Thy pet are very compassionate, very caring & so kind. I can not thank them enough for making the whole process easier to handle.

Lost my rescue Boxer after 8.5 years and Honor Thy Pet was there with answers to all of my questions. The gentleman who came to retrieve Brutus, Anthony and Perry, were very consoling and treated his remains with the utmost respect. Thank you to them and to Melanie in the office also.

Our little Yorkie Speedo passed away 10/10/17. She lived for 17 years and we didnt know what to do. We found Honor Thy Pet online and they picked her up at the house. Everyone from the driver to the office staff when we went to pick up Speedos ashes was very caring and professional. They offer other services, urns, etc. but they arent pushy and they realize it is a very sad time. For anyone that has not been through this before, we highly recommend Honor Thy Pet.
