I cant say anything about their services since they were full when I called. However, whoever I spoke to very extremely kind and helpfu. I also appreciate what they do for those who lost their babies and young children.

During one of the worse times in my life, still in shock, I had to make the decision to have my Brother cremated to have him brought home to Connecticut. I found TJ Cohen online since I wasnt a local. I remember thinking I just dreaded walking into the funeral home and the smell of flowers that might be so overpowering. I was pleasantly surprised, no floral smells, just a very nice women who greeted me in the reception area. I’ve known TJ for two years, he’s truly one of the most caring people I’ve ever met and I knew when it was time for my mom to go he would be the perfect person to care for her. I called him a couple days before her passing to inform him of her name and what hospital she was at and to be ready for me to call. December 5th I called him and he picked my momma up. TJ and all his employees are exceptionally kind, caring and thoughtful. The first day when I made arrangements TJ was going in ten different directions yet I never felt neglected. He talked me through everything and helped make very difficult decisions. I left feeling I had made the correct choice by using this excellent company. We wanted to witness the cremation and that wasnt a problem. TJ was there along with his employees and again nothing but kindness and professionalism. We had paid a small fee in order to view my wife and also to witness the cremation. My son and I sat with my wife/his mother and cried together. We were allowed to enter the room my wife was in and kiss her goodbye. We decided to leave right at the point before she actually was cremated. We didnt feel we could handle that. We left very sad and lonely. The next day TJ called and told me Cheryls cremains were ready and I could pick them up along with her death certificates. Again everyone at the funeral home were so kind and thoughtful. I received a check from them at that time. I asked why and was told since we didnt actually witness the cremation that charge was being returned. I was totally flabbergasted. I never expected that or actually even thought about it. Proved to me that these people are the real deal. Kind, caring, thoughtful and HONEST. Also want to say that at no point was I pressured to do anything that wasnt needed. In fact it was the opposite and I was advised against upgrades. I would like to thank the entire staff and especially TJ for making a really awful task much easier. Bless you all.

Our experience isnt one Id ever thought we would experience. Our deceased family member was not prepared for viewing, body was in a cardboard box and we could clearly see all visible signs of where they had done their preparations for embalming. TJ did show much sympathy but the services overall was very poor.

One year ago my sons father passed away and I was given TJs business card just prior to his passing. I called him and he took care of everything. There wasnt much money to work with and TJ helped us out with a payment arrangement. Very grateful. I try to spread the word when the subject comes up because at a time like that and not having a lot of money for a funeral, you need someone you can trust.

TJ Cohen is one of the most compassionate and sincere people I have ever met. I lost my dad suddenly 3 months ago and it was the worst thing that ever happened to me. Most of the other places I had called were very quick to quote me prices, all of which were well beyond our means, as this was an unexpected loss!Once we had set an appointment to meet and further discuss options, T.J. was again very compassionate, offering his assistance is any way we may have needed.Meeting with him in person, I was even more impressed with his sincere caring, as he helped my mother-in-law and sister-in-law understand what our choices included, how my husband was being cared for, and what the process would be for us. It was a process that lasted about five days since we contacted the funeral home, they treated us well and despite the language barrier we could understand each other, but due to the large number of people who speak Spanish in Florida they should have someone who can Orient in this language throughout this painful process. The crematorium is in Ivor City but it is very clean everything was done at the agreed time with great precision. I dont think it was expensive, rather it seemed affordable. I feel happy
