The display went out on my MacBook Pro (note: do NOT use a stick-on camera cover on your MacBook!) Logan at Scout quickly responded to all my emails & questions on a Sunday and made an appointment for me the very next day. They quickly and professionaly diagnosed the issue and had the parts to fix the display the next day. I couldnt recall if I had Apple Care or not, so Logan even made multiple calls with me to double check.They had it fixed within 2 hours and were super-communicative about the status of my repair every step of the way.I will definitely be back for any Mac needs in the future. I highly recommend.

I have been to Scout IT twice and both experiences have been great. The employees are evidently very knowledgable, transparent and professional. My mac had a problem with the mousepad not being able to be detected and Logan was able to fix it in 5 minutes with a warranty in case the problem were to happen again. There was a 50/50 chance that the problem would happen again, which Logan communicated within our first visit. When I came back, he already had the replacement part in stock, was able to fix my laptop in 10 minutes and made my life a whole lot easier. This is a place you can genuinely trust to steer you in the right direction and give you a legitimate diagnosis and (in my case) affordable solution. I am so appreciative of everyone who works here and I would gladly recommend this place to anyone.

Alex and the entire staff of SCOUT are THE best company Ive ever dealt with. They have gone out of their way to save me money, and lost many hundreds of dollars in the process. In the end, I paid $29 for a simple cable, instead of getting an entire mother board replaced. To say theyre honorable and full of integrity is an understatement! These people may have saved my life today. They were wonderful, kind and gracious in the midst of this pandemic. My need of a computer is essential right now, and they were fast and efficient. I was given the name of SCOUT through the Apple Store. I was having difficulty with my computer during the COVID crisis so I was communicating via email with Alex. He was wonderfully attentive and extremely helpful in discerning my problem and making recommendations as to the correction. In the end, due to the age of my computer, I elected to purchase a new computer. SCOUT does not sell computers, so even in light of the fact that there was no financial gain to SCOUT, Alex guided me in determining the best computer to meet my needs. This company is SOLID. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone needing computer repairs.

I made numerous phone calls to this place before even stepping foot inside. The staff was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They gave me a price quote and addressed every concern I had. Once I got there, they were just as helpful in person as they were over the phone. It’s such a peace of mind to get good help these days and these guys deliver.

Took my MacBook Pro to these guys for the standard keyboard replacement, and it turned out I had another issue requiring an entirely new logic board. However, it was out of stock at Apples warehouse. This made what was initially thought to be a 2 day repair into a week because of the part delay. They were extremely understanding of my frustration at not having my work computer longer than expected, and they were highly communicative with daily updates. They continued to follow up with Apple, and since they didnt have the correct logic board, sent an upgraded one instead with 4X larger hard drive. I got my MacBook back with not only the new keyboard (and battery), but also a hard drive upgrade that would have cost $600 from Apple, for $0. If I ever have an Apple issue, I wont bother with the Apple store, Ill come right to Scout.

You learn very quickly why this place has so many 5 star reviews. I dont even bother calling Apple or going to an Apple store. Friendly service, gets it right every time, and fair pricing. Somehow they do right all each time.

Josh and Katrina were great to work with! I brought in a MacBook Pro that had been run over in the middle of the street and they were able to recover the data from it for a reasonable cost. Dont even waste your time at the Apple Store, if you need repairs or support come here first!

If I could give Core 6/5 stars, I would. I went to the Apple Store in Brandon, and they said they wouldnt be able to even see me for a week. So, I came here, and they saw me and picked up my laptop right away! Everything was fixed super quick and everyone was super nice! I will definitely be back if something else happens!

I brought my MacBook in yesterday because my screen had gone completely black, not allowing me to use it. Alex took care of me immediately and immediately tried to figure out what the cause of the issue was. My experience was extremely professional, knowledgable, and friendly. My laptop was fixed in less than a day and fully covered by Apple. I couldnt have asked for a more perfect and seamless experience getting my laptop repaired (which is usually a HUGE pain in the butt!!!).

This was my 3rd repair (3 different devices) 1 of which the Apple store said they couldnt fix! This last repair was a simple issue that they didnt even charge me for. Ryan and Josh are the absolute BEST! Never going to the Apple store again. Ever!

My laptop stated flashing a funky symbol at me last week and I brought it over to CORE. Ryne helped me and he was so nice - I immediately felt like he would do everything in his power to figure out what was going on with my computer. Sure enough, he gave me daily updates and took care of all communication with Apple. Less than a week later, I was able to pick up my laptop. This place is FRICKEN AWESOME... especially Ryan! Super friendly staff, they fixed my computer no problems. I have been having issues with my computer for months and they were able to successfully diagnose and fix everything within 30 minutes tops. Only thing is watch out for the guard roosters they have outside.

Scout has done an incredible job updating the computers, servers and network in our medical offices. Nate and Ryne skillfully planned and executed a complete modernization of our offices. Our aging windows sever was replaced with a new Synology file server for our files and Amazon web services for our databases. Our buggy windows computers and thin clients were replaced with JAMF remotely-managed Mac minis. Our old and unreliable network and VPN was updated with Cisco Meraki switches and VPN. This was a huge multi-step project. Every step was well planned and beautifully organized and executed by Scout. I could not be happier with the final product—everything works pefectly. Not only are these guys smart they are exceptionally kind people and a pleasure to work with. Despite their technical expertise, they are excellent communicators, good listeners and are never condescending to our staff. I have never before experienced this combination of technical know-how combined with outstanding people skills in IT. I cannot recommend them any higher and look forward to working with Nate, Ryne and the rest of the Scout crew for many years to come. A++++

The space board key on my laptop was not working because I tried to clean it and the white nipple looking thing accidentally came off. I explained what happened to them and they told me it was no big deal. I spoke to Ryan on the phone and he told me to bring my MacBook in, and he would super glue it for me. I went they did it in one minute and my space bar worked again. Compared to when I went to the Genius Bar and they told me I would have to send it to Apple support which would cost $300+ and take 3-5 business days (they wanted to replace the whole keyboard). CORE fixed the problem in no time. Very amazing service!! Dont go to Apple to go them 😊

I am beyond thankful for finding this place! When my computer of 6 years crashed I thought I had lost everything---and by everything I mean pictures of my family that NO one else had. I had all of my pictures saved to iPhoto and a previous shop told me that iPhoto data was not recoverable. I called Apple and they implied my computer was basically ancient and they would not even look at it even if I was willing to pay. I called CORE and they said they were open to checking it out. After much work, they recovered EVERY SINGLE ONE of my cherished photos for a very fair price! My family and I could not be more thankful and we will definitely be coming to CORE for all of our Apple inquiries.

I tried going to the Apple Store and the International Mall, but the wait for a service technician was 2 hours and the next available appointment was a week away. Instead, I stopped by this place and they figured out my Macbooks problem and ran a diagnostic on it within 15 minutes and free of charge. I will definitely come back in the future.

This place is awesome! I was panicking hard when my macbook crashed and wouldnt turn on 4 days before a med school exam, but I took it to Core and they had it diagnosed, ordered me a new hard drive, and installed it in just about 24 hours. On top of that, they were able to save all my files/data and let me print my notes off my old hard drive before they replaced it so I could still study in the meantime. I thought I was going to lose all my recent files since my last back up but Ryan saved the day! I couldnt be happier with the service I received from Core and I recommend them to anyone who needs Apple product servicing. (Also, PSA to everyone to go buy an external hard drive and back up your stuff regularly!)
