Shortly before listing our home for sale we discovered water damage to multiple baseboards in our home. To say I was stressed was an understatement. I live in a condo building that floods a lot (The Quarter at Ybor), so I have had multiple people from Restoration 1 in my home and I regularly see many more around the building. Everybody I have met has been very professional and courteous, and they have always done excellent work. I had to call yesterday to ask questions about a somewhat complicated situation post-tropical storm Elsa, and Tracy was incredibly helpful and friendly. In the unfortunate situation that you need such services, Restoration 1 is definitely the company to call.

A leak was found behind the wall in our kitchen which had caused major mold issues. We called Restoration1 and Robert came out and gave a very professional and informative assessment of the problem and what needed to be done. We agreed to have them do the work. The remediation crew, Troy, Andy and Jake were on time, efficient and friendly. Traci in the office works miracles in coordinating the rebuild crew, plumbers and countertop installation. Jeff and his guys did a great job in installing the new cabinets. Dave, the owner, stayed on top of everything and made sure the process was successfully completed. I recently had Restoration 1 assist with a kitchen water damage situation at my home. They were professional and to the penny with their work estimates. Cabinet rehab was that of a custom shop and mold mitigation was thorough with the use of top grade materials and HEPA air cleaning. The owner (David Adams) called himself to confirm the appointment and answered many of my questions.I had water damage due to a busted refrigerator line. They were there to collect moisture readings, set up their equipment, and dry out the affected areas. I informed them that I had a plumber coming to fix the line the following Monday. Michelle said dont waste your money. She and Ed proceeded to fix it for me in less than 5 minutes! Easily saving me $100+ (the plumber I previously had scheduled charged $104/hr with a 1 hour minimum). I offered to pay several times and they kept politely refusing.On top of that the level of detail and precision in their work to mitigate the damage and document everything accurately really blew me away. We had an unfortunate problem with our dishwasher leaking out of the bottom into a void between the tiles. It had been leaking for a while by the time there were visible signs and so drywall and other damage. I called David in the evening and he actually answered and reassured me that they would be over to help us in the morning. They came and took out all the damaged cabinets and drywall and set up plastic to contain the area with mold with large dryers running day and night for 3 days. Thank heavens for them because our insurance company couldnt even get an adjuster out to look at it for a week. The team of people David had lined up to dry out then repair the plumbing, drywall and the rebuild of the kitchen area damaged including finding the exact cabinet that was not salvageable was seamless. They didnt leave us hanging for days between the different jobs that needed to be done. In 2 weeks we had our kitchen back together. We are so impressed with Dave Adams, and one of his contractors in particular, Ed Spooner, who was so resourceful and accommodating. If you ever have need of restoration services, start here. You will feel like you are their only priority.

Restoration 1 of Tampa Bay was one of the most professional companies I have had the pleasure of working with in many years. They went over board to make sure the work was completed correctly, neatly and timely. Owners and employees where very pleasant and had great personalities.

I called Restoration1 to have interior wall damage repaired after having a roof leak. The first contact with Allison was reassuring and Dave Adams came out to assess the situation within a few hours. Dave was informative, honest and immediately had a good grasp on what needed to be done. His crew of Ed and Anderson did a great initial job of mitigating the leak damage, taking out drywall and containing the area for as little disruption to the rest of the house as possible. Javier did a perfect job with installing new drywall, texturing it, repairing the ceiling damage and then painting everything. And Dave and Anderson returned once painting was finished and hung all the curtains, blinds, wall decorations and moved the furniture back in place. It looks as good or better than it was before the leak. This was all done in 8 business days. I couldnt ask for a better experience and will definitely call them for any future needs.

We had two restoration companies to our home, however they both made us feel less than secure with the way they seemed to be exaggerating and quoting things. When David Adams with Restoration 1 arrived it was a much different feeling. He didnt try to inflate the amount of work that needed to be done, and his pricing was far less than the other companies. The other companys pricing was so high because they quoted things that were completely unnecessary. The job was done by Ed in 2 days instead of 3 and our pocketbook didnt feel the pinch. They cleared out all of the mold damage and reframed the entirety of the second story of our house. They were extremely professional and caring in a time when my family had far more to worry about than just mold damage. I would recommend this company to everyone. They will do right by you and actually care about their craft. Nothing was half done, everything they fixed was beyond expectation and true quality work; which I unfortunately have found to be rare in today’s day and age. This company will truly work for you and for that reason if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

We had no response from theHOA at Russellwood Condos Association & their Mngmt company, Wise Mgmt, Inc for 2 water problems from H. Irma & a severe storm a few weeks later. We contacted Restoration 1 to find the problem & repair it. They located the 15mm crack in the exterior wall that let the water into our condo. They took infrared photos, kept the damaged interior material, & documented the whole work project that restored the condo to its pristine condition in an extremely reasonable time frame. They are top notch professionally & their workmanship is excellent.
