We had a air conditioner pan overflow, in the attic, it flooded our ceiling causing the drywall to collapse on the floor our insurance set us up with DKI Tampa. At first the lady was concerned and said she would have it fixed, they came one day took down drywall and Insulation, plugged in dehumidifiers and large fans, then left, they set a date to return and was a no show, no phone call out of respect, in the mean time the dehumidifiers and fans ran for 10 days 24/7. Finally they showed back up and removed the carpet and unplugged the equipment. She had no excuse to give us why she did not call us sooner, and the more we got to know her the more predictable she became, the whole project was a disaster, and it all started with her. They even put day laborers in our home, but pretended they were professionals, they told us that they were just hired for the day, and the guy in charge had no experience and just started 3 days before showing up to our house. She came by one more time to have us sign a new evaluation, and because she did not like the one we filled out, was not going to submit it.. so she came with new one, and we did not fill it out.we just signed it and she gave herself great reviews. We only signed it to end the Mediation process, and then she told us she would get back with us on the contractor side of things, we knew then we would never see her again. We called that one. Shame on you, she got payed $8100.00 just to remove drywall and carpet. We got $3100.00 to find our own drywaller and also had to go get some mom and pop store to replace the carpet, we did not get enough money to cover the repairs, and we did all the painting ourselves, Our experience with her and DKI Tampa complete disaster, I would not recommend them, very unprofessional, no respect for the homeowner, and they caused alot of unnecessary damage to our home, on top of the disaster we already had. Very disappointed in our insurance company and DKI, especially the one in charge to handle the cleanup, she did a horrible job. And I hope I never see her or DKI again. If you can control who does your cleanup call Serve Pro. And avoid the disaster we had with her and DKI. They dont even get a star from me, a grade F-.

11 weeks ago my poor elderly parents had the unfortunate luck of discovering a long term leak in the wall between a bedroom and the bathroom and the even worse luck of getting involved in a contract with DKI of Tampa. At first they had a project manager that was communicative, professional and reassuring. Told they had to wait 4 weeks for cabinets to be made but work would start on other things in mean time. 3 weeks later a new project manager shows up unannounced to start from scratch. Says he has no idea what had been done, needs to be done nor what was decided. Says hed be back that Thursday to start. Thursday came and went, weekend- nothing. Finally Tuesday comes and my mother has to call them to be told someone will be by the next week with no explanation. The next week- similar issues again. My mother has been hospitalized during this time with heart failure (not due to this project) and wears a defibrillator. She has gone too far out of her way to reschedule appointments to make sure someone was there for the workers but each time they were scheduled to come- no call, no shows. At one point she was even told they had to find additional painters to finish the painting started because the crew they used in the beginning had been diagnosed with COVID. A total of 11 weeks has gone by and only 4 DAYS OF WORK done. 1 day on drywall, 1 for painting and 2 days spent on a floor that was never completed. We were told the floor planks they had delivered were worpped and couldnt be used - this was 2 weeks ago. No new floor, defenctive floor still remains untouched. No progress since, no communication. We are still waiting on cabinets, vanity, compete shower (parts have been delivered and remain on porch for about a month) and an entire floor still need to be done. No end in sight. No feeling of priority. DO NOT USE DKI of Tampa. Dont fall for it. If we werent under contract we would consider leaving DKI and paying for everything all over again- out of pocket just to get my parents away from this misery.Hoping to be able to update this review with a positive completion but seriously doubt it.

I noticed a leak in my kitchen ceiling from my upstairs washing machine around 10pm on a Sunday night. DKI staff were out within an hour to help. Tristan Camacho has been lights out with his timeliness, professionalism & attention to detail throughout this process.UPDATED 7/30/20Repair process was a nightmare, would absolutely not reccomend.

Coastal DKI was able to help me out during my time of need after a major flood in my kitchen. Their reconstruction team did an amazing job with my kitchen and bathroom. Very good customer service. All services included.

They did work on our house 11/2 years ago. We paid them. and have a receipt that says Paid in Full..... The Tampa office called to tell me 1+ years later they had problems with their Stuart office, and we owed them more money. Despite the fact that we have a receipt showing we paid in full, they manufactured another charge, and then turned us over to a collection agency who threatened us with ruining our credit... Be Ware... I would never use them again. I tried to call the numbers from our email of their crew manager... Its been disconnected.. BEWARE...
