Im the type of person that loves to celebrate their birthday! Each year I try and find local places to explore and celebrate my special day.I stumbled across eBoats Tampa via a YouTube video, and thought it would be a different and unique experience... something myself or any of my friends had never done before.We had a blast!One of my friends brought his radio with him and we were singing, laughing, eating and drinking for 2 hours - having the best time of our lives!It was five couples in our boat, we all had plenty of leg room/space. I brought a charcuterie board and drinks (there were two mini tables) and it was the perfect afternoon on water with friends.My husband drove the boat (you dont need any special license or any experience) and he really seemed to be enjoying himself as we teased and called him a Captain.If youre looking for a unique experience, I would definitely recommend this place - my friends still talk about how much fun we had - I believe our next trip will be a romantic ride at night under the stars!

Affordable way to take a boat ride down the beautiful river. My boyfriend operated the boat with no prior experience and it was a breeze. I love how the boat has a small table in the middle so that you can bring snacks and drinks. Also, you can stop and dock at some of the restaurants along the river. I cant wait to go back to Tampa do this again!

So this was such an amazing experience. We got a boat that sits 9 or 10 and it was just 4 of us. I mean my first time on a boat and I was able to drive it like a champ. Im lying I was horrible at it but luckily my boy handled it for us. Im definitely doing it again. 2 hours for less than $200. Great deal!

This was the best experience ever as 1st timers doing it alone. Andrew was awesome he was fully booked the day we chose but managed to squeeze us in on a PM tour. My family and I had no experience maneuvering a boat. But Andrew and his Co worker (forgot his name but he was Greek) were awesome showing us the ropes and with so much patience. Im not going to lie I was a bit scard but with all the easy instructions we did it! Would definitely do this again super affordable and truly a fun experience for the whole family! This was a great experience in Tampa! The staff were friendly, professional and easy going. My family and I took the boat around the river with ease. The boats are comfortable and well kept. A great way to enjoy a lunch with a group on the water.

Eboats Tampa rents electric powered boats, kayaks and water bikes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They patiently provide instructions for how to use the equipment and provide a very comprehensive map briefing before you leave the dock with the eboat. After you return they are located near Jacksons bistro, American Social, Rays fish camp, sails bar, anchor and brine, and other restaurants which are great for relaxing after your activity.

Had a fantastic time. Got to see beautiful views. Went out to enjoy the sunset and seeing everything lit up was a great way to enjoy the night.

Rented an eBoat in Tampa today as we did a Stay-Cation do to the dreaded Covid-19 . It was Relaxing, easy and enjoyable.

What a great way to see downtown Tampa. Andrew set us up with a cooler stocked with ice, we brought our own drinks and after a quick intro explaining the boat, we were on our way.My wife and I were looking for something fun to do after so many weeks being quarantined and this couldnt have been a better idea. This was a very romantic trip with just the two of us, but next time we want to try it with our friends.We docked at the Armature to walk around and people watch all the activity of people walking around with thier families.Then we docked at Ricks On The River and had a few cocktails. Then it was time for a ride back looking at all the fun lights on the river and the Tampa skyline lit up in the background.This is a great experience for tourists and locals alike.

Sadly, when we called they said you can walk in. We made it at 7 pm and needed two boats because capacity was 10 per boat, but when we requested two, they had two but one was reserved for someone else. We asked to do one boat rental for two hours but we would swap people next hour- answer was thats not doable. Sad to say but they didnt want business and wanted to wrap up after their last trip. I am still generous to give two star. I wouldnt have given any star if I would have been informed on the phone that I would need to reserve.

I took my family there on Easter Sunday for the first time, and we had a blast. Boats were super easy to control and maneuver around the river. Guys were super cool and patient on training us how to operate it. Will come back again soon.

I just wanted say how pleased my family and I were after our experience with eBoats last night. My wife and I were visiting our son in Tampa. We booked a two hour (6 - 8 pm) journey. With the guidance of Jason, the young man working at the dock, we felt important and appreciated. Jason gave us the needed instructions and off we went. Upon returning after the ride, Jason helped us dock the boat and disembark. Thanks again Jason. You were the ultimate professional.

EBoats is a Great way to cruise. Connected a group of women CEOs with this company for a gentle rise thru Tampa. Andrew gave us great customer service, was patient, and even allowed us to use the better kept vessel- Emerald Sea. We had a wonderful time.

We had an wonderful experience! The boat was bigger than expected, easily held 10 adults and a cooler. The guy who helped get us set up was friendly and helpful, explained everything very clearly. The boat was easy to drive and theres plenty of areas to explore.

Another GREAT trip! 3rd time out and once again they did NOT disappoint...Andrew totally hooked us up and took great care of us. Clean boats, quiet motors, Bluetooth for your phone for music while cruising and plenty of room to relax. Go out and enjoy Tampa from the Bay on an eboat!

Excellent experience out on the water in downtown Tampa. Boat is easy to control and for the beginners they give you a quick walk thru.

Renting was smooth staff was friendly.We brought food and drinks for our 2 hour adventure on the water.

Great time, boats are easy, deftintly bring snacks, drinks, and a towel and go for it. There is a bar nearby and two other bar/resturantes you can easily dock at. If you can park in Convention Center parking lot thats the closest, if not there is a garage right over the bridge or street parking nearby. I would recommend a minimum of 2 hours in the boat. Day time and night are both great.

If you want to spend time on the water, renting an eboat is a great way to do so. My husband & I have rented a boat many times over the past several years. Always a great time! The boats are easy to drive & covered so you don’t sunburn! Today Kevin checked us in and gave us the lowdown on the boat & the different routes we could take. He was super knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend renting an eboat!

Seriously worth every penny! I called about 45 minutes ahead for an unplanned night on the river. Mind you this was at 7:30pm Wednesday night, and they still allowed us to reserve. We got to the dock on time and I asked the guy if it was ok that we were the last clients of the day and he smiled saying he’s happy to be here. He made us laugh and was extremely professional, it seemed like he owned the company because he cared so much. We had a great evening and really loved the process. This is yet another company that really made tampa a better place. Thank you all!!!

Made an online appointment two weeks in advance, had a Confirmation email . When arrived they didn’t have the booking on their end so my party of ten had to figure something els out on short notice. I was upset it kind of ruined my birthday.

Great fun and reasonably priced for a large group. Boats are comfortable and have tables with indentations for drinks. You can bring your own food and drinks. Price is per hour and goes down for longer rental times. Great way to watch the sunset.

Lets just say customer service means a lot when looking to support a business as well as having fun with family & friends, especially during coronavirus where everyone is looking for fun things to do in a small setting and to simply get out of the house. Unfortunately this place did not provide the good customer service at all nor did we feel welcome in this establishment. We were visiting different boat rentals to plan for a family day. Our first stop was to Clearwater boat rental which and the customer service was excellent and the i.formation provided was thorough and informative,however, it was far from where we live so we decided to try eboat rental. Kevin and another young lady were not only standoffish but they act as if we were a bother to them in the questions we wanted to ask. Definitely not a place I will be spending my money. Id rather drive the distance and pay extra in gas and for good service. Very disappointed in how we were treated at this establishment. I understand why all the boats were at the docks and not out to sea. Customer service should always be number one with any business....just a little tip from business owner to business owner....

I had an awesome experience with my family. I initially thought we would just ride a boat but ended up driving the boat myself (i.e. this place only rents boats). Both Kevin and Eric were just great instructors who taught us how to operate the boat. Strongly recommend this place. I was a little nervous because it was my first time driving a boat but I ended up having a good experience. Boats are not super-fast and can be easily controlled. This place welcomes walk-in.

Booking is easy, staff is very friendly and informative. Decently priced. I personally ended up docking sooner then expected. I was extremely terrified and did not realize until I went through the first bridge. I manage to make it back to docking. Manager was extremely accommodating. I will try again another time. It was my first time driving a boat.

Electric boats were really fun. They don’t go super fast or anything which is totally fine because your drinking and eating and having fun. Not racing. Will definitely go again!

We had a fantastic afternoon! Although it was a bit rainy, we had a blast and are already in the process of scheduling another day on the water! There were six of us on the boat and we had plenty of space. The table worked perfectly for our snacks and beverages too. Wed definitely recommend eBoats!

We celebrated our friends new status as a father and had an absolute blast! We had the entire channel to ourselves after all-day storms. Amazingly, the sky cleared up just as our rental time started. Chris made us feel comfortable during the orientation and mapped out some cool stopping points. We brought our own food and drinks, sang karaoke, and enjoyed the sites for four straight hours. The only caveat is the credit card holder is responsible for damages and therefore the only person authorized to steer the boat.

Were locals and decided to try eBoat to get out on the water for my birthday on a beautiful winter weekend, and so glad we did. We arrived early and were greeted by Andrew. He and Kevin got the boat ready, we loaded our gear, got our safety and navigation briefing and were on our way. A great day, clean boat. Returning to dock was stress-free, so nice. We all raved we will do this more!

I have lived in Tampa for 13 years and have never heard of this place. Tried it on a whim on New Years Day at sunset, best experience ever. Every employee throughout the process was friendly and helpful. You can bring your own food and drink. There is a radio and aux hook up with pretty loud/great sounding speakers. The bridge changed colors and the other boaters were friendly. 2 hours was perfect for us first timers. Will DEFINITELY be returning!!

We spent an enjoyable afternoon riding an electric boat along the Tampa River. You can ride along the Riverwalk and see all the people and businesses. You can go down to Davis Island and see all the Mansions. Or you can head out towards the commercial ships. The boats are comfortable and the staff is very helpful. Arrive early to get checked in. We were able to bring our own food and drinks.

An interesting service, easily described as golf carts on water, its very easy to operate. Once on the river, theres a ton of sites to see and the boat itself is actually quite spacious. Though it may seem a bit expensive, in the run, its actually quite worth it to grab some friends and food and just jump on the river and go for a drive. Takes a little longer to go through orientation, so plan for a few extra minutes youre first time out.

We really enjoyed our time on the boat! It was a great cruise and affordable to split with several friends. We brought good food, wine and beer and went down the river! Stopped at Ricks on the river and picked up lunch for on the way back. The owner is very helpful and nice. We took a three hour ride and we will be back for a night ride soon! Would highly recommend if you like a nice laid back boat ride seeing the city from a different view!

Tampa e-Boats is a great way to spend time with friends and see Tampa from the river. At night the lights are amazing!I have been on the water many times on the e-boats and have always found it a effortless way to go.The boats are in great condition and the staff always ready to help with all the details.Ill be going out again very soon!

Friendly staff, dirty boats. They wouldnt let us get on one of their cleaner boats, even though everyone was dressed up. I wonder if they size people up and then decide which boat they will put them on.

Friendly staff, Owner was really nice when taking my reservation. Keith the guy who sets you up with your boat and, gives you the run down on every thing and takes you around the dock to show you how to drive was very friendly and patient with my total inexperience. Highly recommend if you like boating. That being said I found out I hate boats, and if I never drive a boat again as long I live that would be too soon, I dont want to pilot one in the after life either.

We had a great time renting from eBoats. The boats are comfortable and well appointed. Staff was great and very informative. Youre welcome to bring your own food and drinks for your trip down the river, which provided for an enjoyable ride. The boats are electric so theyre clean and quiet - but they max out at 6 MPH so watch out for bigger and faster boats. They will pass you and they will create a wake that bounces the eBoat all over the river.

Husband surprised me with a nice boat ride for my birthday. We both really enjoyed it! Very friendly & helpful staff, would highly recommend. Bring some snacks & drinks, and a towel for the seat or in case you get wet. Boat was nice, only downside is it goes very slow! I wasnt expecting a speedboat by no means, but 6mph is a turtles pace, especially when youre on a time limit.

This was the best thing we have done in Tampa. I took my fiancé out with some friends for her birthday and we all had an absolute blast. The staff was so friendly, the boat was easy to navigate (and I am not even a boater), and the views of the city were spectacular! I cant believe we waited so long to do this. Honestly, we think that this is the best kept secret in Tampa. If you are thinking about doing this, I promise you it is worth every penny! :-)

EBoats makes sailing Tampa water district a pleasure. The boats are well appointed and have plenty of room even at full capacity of 12 people. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

So Ive lived right here in Channelside for years and have obviously spent lots of time riding around downtown Tampa taking in the scene. But my boyfriend (who isnt from Tampa) and I wanted to give this a try for a date night, and we had a BLAST. We only rented for an hour, because it is a little pricey especially if just doing it with two people, but it was totally worth it. Honestly its the little touches that this boat had that really made the whole experience feel special - adorable throw pillows, candlelight on the table, music playing, and a completely spotless, clean, well functioning boat. The guy helping us was also extremely nice and helpful. Even though I grew up in Tampa, seeing the buildings and bridges all lit up changing colors at dusk from the water was a completely different experience (even if you think it wouldnt be, trust me it was). We had so much fun in just an hour. I cant wait to do this again, maybe even w/ a larger group, some catered food, and a little more time on the clock to hang out. Overall would totally recommend!

Tampa eBoats were so much fun! We came into Tampa from Pennsylvania and we had an awesome time out there! When I met BUCK (our boat) I was both nervous and excited. I have never driven a boat before so I found out very quickly how different it is from a car. The guy who we signed up with had such a great personality and he made it really easy to put me at ease about being out on the bay by ourselves lol. So don’t be intimidated because they actually take you out and give you a test drive with them on the boat which was wonderful! Then we were off on our 1 hour boat adventure!! The boat was so clean and they make them look like a family boat. Very comfortable and so much fun! Would recommend this to anyone! Thank you so much eBoats!!

We LOVE eBoats! It took a little getting used to the steering (drives more like wave runner). It seats 12 so we had plenty of room with 6 of us onboard. Bring towels to sit on and a cooler and youll be all set. Cant wait to do it again!
