If you have dreads don’t get them done here. Went for a retwist and repair, ended up paying $200 for the lady to completely destroy my locs she even put my hair in a hairstyle I didn’t want to try and cover up the damage she had already done. It was so bad, my barber cut them for free .IF YOU HAVE DREDS DONT GET THEM DONT HERE‼️

Locs of Wisdom is great, The energy is love. Zita reattached my locs for me, she has great conversation and she’s thorough with her work. My hair came out great, better than expected. After my reattachment Lavar gave me a fresh line to complete the project. I started my loc journey here 3 weeks ago by telephone consultation with Zita. I was confused and had so many questions and she eased my concerns and answered every single of my questions herself over the phone...and not with a “secretary” or an “assistant”. She talked me through the process and showed me the material and started the consultation. I never felt rushed nor did I feel pressured at anytime to make any decisions during the consultation. I loved how there were no “rules” to the consultation. Two weeks later I was in the chair! Zita is super sweet and very personable! Her colleagues are also very nice. I was in the shop for 10 hrs and I felt like I was apart of the family the entire time I was there. We talked, laughed, jammed to music and they even fed me! Who does that??!!!!!!!!!The time went by so fast. I can honestly say I had a great time! I’m too exited to continue my sister loc journey at this shop! Zita came highly recommended to me and I see why! Absolutely thee best!!!!💯

When I came in to the Baber shop today I did not have a mask but the provided me with one in I still got a clean cut

I came in with some real dense natural nappy matted half dreads from just letting it grow on it’s own. I came in and Devi ( great girl, very professional, definitely recommend) got right to it and miraculously got it all separated and sectioned and completely recontructed some nice locs that I’m loving right now. She had me right in real good time, then Levar shaped my lines and beard up real nice and understood exactly what look I was looking for. Locs of Wisdom has a top tier vibe, professional staff and QUICK servicing. Devi even liked that my hair was a challenge compared to most but she killed it.

Been having my hair done here since 2012 by Zita and I wont go anywhere else and Levar has been lining and shaping me up as well. This is a perfect husband and wife team and for you grown folks out there good intellectual conversation and a good place to unwind

Best cuts in Tampa!!

Be careful about going to locs of wisdom to get sisterlocs. My coworker, whose locs were started by Rita 9 years ago, referred me. It appears Ritas work has slipped over the years (my co-worker no longer goes to her due to lack of professionalism).Although we had a consultation where we discussed how I wanted my hair, Rita made my locs much larger to save time. She never provided me with the sisterloc shampoos or provided me with the first free retightening that is part of the package. I ended up having to find another sisterloctician and have met with at 2 other sisterlocticians who told me my locks are actally brotherlocs, not sisterlocs. Dont waste your time with this shop or Rita.

Miracle workers here my locs were matted up for months due to being unable to visit and definitely will return for more work done exquisite service here!
