Omar may give a nice cut, but theres also the business side of things, and he sure did fall short with my sons appointment. Booked an appointment for a Thursday at 5:30pm, 8 days ahead of time, for my son (for a wedding). I used Booksy, the app Omar and many barbers use for appointments. The barbers are notified immediately and appointments are automatically applied to their calendars. Two hours before the appointment, he calls me and tells me he leaves early Tuesdays through Thursdays to pick up his child. Numerous things wrong here. One, he should not have allowed the time-slot in question to be available on Booksy (he has total control over what days/times are made available), especially if hes doing this on a regular basis. His excuse was that he had the time-slot available so clients could book for his other employees. Two, thats ridiculous. If it were a once in a blue moon kind of thing, understandable. But he admitted its on a regular basis. Make them their own Booksy! How the heck is the client supposed to know some of your time-slots are for other barbers/stylists at your shop? This is just asking for mass confusion and cancellations. Three, HE CALLED 2 HOURS BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT INSTEAD OF CALLING 8 DAYS PRIOR WHEN IT WAS BOOKED AND HE WAS NOTIFIED!!! OR 6 DAYS, OR 5 DAYS, OR 4 DAYS!!! Quality cuts are nothing without quality clippers. Quality clippers are nothing without quality barbers. Quality barbers are nothing without being responsible, reliable people. Thats all on you, Omar. Clean it up so it doesnt happen again and so someone else isnt left scrambling before an important event.

Always a great and professional experience with Omar. I’ve been going to him for over a year, twice a month. He’s very professional, on time, doesn’t talk me ear off wasting time and biggest of all he remains consistent.

Paul R..Its sad that you went out of your way to try to ruin omars business like that all over you being mad over something that really isnt that serious. I wanna point out how omar called you 2 hours ahead of time, instead of not letting you know at all. No one is perfect, I understand you had a wedding planned and were trying to have everything set up, but going out of your way to complain in the way you did is insane and very insensitive. Omar has been cutting my hair now for almost a year and can say that ive never had anything to complain about. On top of omar being a great barber, he also donates free hair cuts as well and always helps out the community. For everyone else, dont let that one review ruin the fact that omar is a awesome person and has always been on point with the hair cuts.

Every time I come down to vacation in Tampa I always bring my son to Omar. He goes above and beyond with my requests! My son loves his haircuts. Highly recommend getting a cut with him!

Omar is professional i have been going to him for 15 years . He is always on point with his cuts and hands down the best barber in Florida . And what I love about it . Even before COVID his shop is always clean !!! I always recommend him to everyone.

Very professional always get my boys right

Went there for the first time after work to get a hair + beard cut and it came out really good. In total, it cost $25 which is a good price when compared to the surrounding barbershops. Omar was my barber and he did a great job. The place had a really good atmosphere and I didnt have to wait to be seated. Definitely plan to come back here more!

Im in the military and have been all around the world and Omar is by far one of the best barbers Ive ever had. His attention to detail is superb and makes everyone that comes through his door feel very special. I found my spot and now getting my weekly haircuts with him until we move to our next base. 👍

This barber shop has a nice minimalist feeling right when you walk in. They have mounted TVs on the wall playing sports. If you’re thirsty you can use the vending machine for a drink or snack. Omar is the owner and does a very detailed job. He usually has many appointments so if you want him to cut your hair I recommend calling and booking in advance. Great barbers, friendly staff!

Yall have to check out this barbershop. Its well kept with good customer service. My guy Omar always revives my haircut and has yet to mess up. He has me going from zero to hero in about 30 or so minutes!.I always have trouble finding a barber that does exactly what I ask for but I wont be leaving this shop any time soon. If you have an appointment theyre almost always on time, I think the longest Ive waited for my appointment was MAYBE five minutes. The other barber that works there is also great. Dont wait until youre current barber messes you up to make the switch. Give this shop a try you wont regret it!
