Towed my car then proceeded to break in and open my car. Put a dent in the top of my passenger door so now when I drive it sounds like my doors open and even worst when it rains water seeps through. Please do not trust them with your car. Called very unprofessional and wouldn’t help me.

Any signs were barely visible; small and hidden. Towed my friend’s car after we stopped to run into a bathroom for 10 minutes. I am on crutches and needed my friends assistance and obviously am slower while walking at the moment. When we returned, the car was towed, horrible customer service over phone and in person. By the time we took an uber to their lot, no one was even there to help us and we had to wait (I had to stand - on crutches) for 15 minutes. In this time, the price increased. They were dropping cars off in the lot extremely fast and running back out to get more. There was another man who was waiting, also had an issue with his leg as well. They charged an insane amount of money, only took cash, no receipt, different price than was initially stated on the phone. Called back today as this happened on a Saturday (today is Monday) and the person on the phone was horribly rude. They would not take payment with a card, even though they claim to do so. Extremely unprofessional, would not be surprised if they were pocketing the money hence cash only and no receipt. Aside from this, its very unlikely anyone is carrying around that much cash at a given moment. My friend and I are grad school students and are already struggling to pay enough bills without being charged ridiculous prices that were made up on the spot. They are completely unwilling to help while talking on the phone, defensive, rude, and its a very unfortunate situation with a horrible company.

They come and tow cars illegally. Then change the price when time to pick up. Extremely unprofessional, the guy on the phone super rude and the guy you pay is even worse. Asked for business ID and they claim not to have one. I will Be filing report with the city to have this company looked into.

At first I was mad they towed my car, my fault of course .. but the front desk guy ended up being super helpful and nice when I got my keys locked in, and was super patient too! Hopefully won’t lose my keys or get towed again, but overall he made a bad experience a not so bad one.

I was rightfully towed(no question about that), but this business engages in shady practices(no receipts, cash only, changing prices on the spot). Absolutely ridiculous, much less their employees are rude. I will be informing the Better business beareu of their practices.

Charged a $60.00 fee to drop the car as we seen him towing it! Didn’t even have the vehicle secured! I have videos and pictures to prove that! He towed the car because it was “parked on a line” I have a video of this parking lot not having any lines where we were parked! He probably pocketed the money! Rude, disrespectful, pos! There’s a $60.00 drop fee? Or 4-500$ if it was successful towed! I hope they don’t have a drop fee and your boss finds out you pocketed cash that was given no receipt! What a loser! They illegally towed cars from my apartment complex. Residents have permits in window and they still towed. Prices are always different and they try to screw you over. Oh and someone else picked up my car and they forgot to have someone sign for it. You’re a joke.

No one is going to give good reviews because their car was towed and we tend to get upset about that sort of thing.. i mean who wouldnt. but the purpose of this review is to let you all know you need to do better as far as communication and customer service! i called 30 minutes ago and spoke to a gentleman that confirmed my car was here and when i asked when i can pick it up the gentleman on the line said i can come right now his words were sure come right over i confirmed now and he said yes.... guess what???? no one is here. outside in the rain i just got dropped off by a lyft and NO ONE IS HERE! this is not a nice part of town its late asl and no one is answering my calls. if i needed to come in the morning then the nincompoop on the line should have told me that instead im outside in the rain with 250 in cash looking at the car i came to collect. what type of company does this. No he did not tell me they were closing or closed he told me to come right over. what a joke. No idea why they towed my car but honestly i really dgaf- i got to find a way to get my kids to school in the AM ...Thanks for that.

They came at 6AM when everyone was asleep. I was just 10 feet from the Tow Truck and he pulled off so fast the towed car may have been damaged. He didnt want me to pay on the spot and when I called at 8:00 they are not open. Leave towing to the professionals not the thiefs.

I was towed incorrectly by my apartment building and these guys took initiative to call my property manager and attempt to get it sorted out. Really professional and polite people who dealt with my frustrations very well. Also, they only use tow-trucks that dont drag your rear tires so your car will not be damaged in anyway. This company pays off concierges at upscale apartment buildings to call them every hour with anything they can get away with yanking out of there. My old building had 8 guest spots and 300 teco spots which were unused during the weekend so we would park in them to run upstairs real quick. Sadly this tow company was bribing the drunk that worked concierge to call to earn his $20. Meanwhile they would charge $250-350 depending on their mood and required CASH only.Hmmmm... you only take CASH, I wonder if the IRS will enjoy auditing these guys 🤔

Very unprofessional, I would not recommend them, Blond haired guy that works dispatch was very rude . They scratched my car down the right passenger side and then tried to tell me it was “ like that “ when they picked it up.

These charlatans towed my car that was found abandoned in a Winn Dixie parking lot by the thieves. My wallet containing all of my ID, along with the title and bill of sale were still in the vehicle when it was towed. I had purchased the car just a few days prior. An employee by the name of Jason went into the car and verified this for me over the phone. I live in GA. Before I could recoup my identification these charlatans stole my car a second time by making my car disappear before I could get back to Tampa to rightfully claim it! This is a sheisty organization from top to bottom. They ALL need to be locked up and the business shuttered because they are doing a huge disservice to the community.

How do you go into a parking lot who’s parking attendant even said the meters are broken so parking is lifted and STILL have the audacity to attempt to tow a row of BMWs when there were PLENTY of cars already parked and closer to the exit of the parking lot. Damages to our friend’s rare BMW FOR JUST THE REAR BUMPER are well over $6,000. Good luck in court dimwits.

Our community, Legacy Park, has contractors who are taking up all the resident’s parking spots. I came home to find multiple work trucks in my driveway and asked several contractors to move the trucks but they pretended to not know who they belonged to. They proceeded to tell me I could park down the street in front of their work trailer. I did so and woke up the next morning to my SUV being towed. The owner admitted he and the property manager, Tri Morocco, from Melrose Management Partnership agreed to allow the contractors to park wherever they need to and to continue to tow the residents so he can make money. Unbelievable!!! The Melrose Management Partnership must be receiving a kick back. This should be ILLEGAL!

They are like thieves in the night! I have been parking my truck on same street for months. In the early hours of Sunday morning they came placed a tow sign at the end of street and proceeded to tow my truck. Who brings a sign with them? Feels like they placed the sign to justify the tow! Moreover no one called them to tow vehicle. According to person i spoke with they were just driving by and saw it. Beware beware beware! They are not a honorable business. Well I’m going to give this business 4 stars. They did their job and I got my car back fairly easy. I parked in a paid parking area for a wedding in the Rialto but was supposed to pay for parking through the park whiz app. Well, the park wiz app had an error when I tried to pay which I took a screen shot of so I am in the middle of fighting it. These guys did there job though but got the 200 bucks out of me that I had saved to give as a gift for the wedding 😒

90% of reviews are from salty people. I was VERY pleased with their services. A young driver named Cal assisted me in removing a vehicle in my companies unloading zone. Very thankful and grateful for their assistance!

Very good recovery and transport company. They come in a timely manner to remove any and all illegally parked persons from my property. The drivers are good guys who are skilled and do their job very well. Well at least as a private entity who employs the services of the company i say this honestly. No idea why people who got their cars towed give hate reviews and try to make these guys look bad when all it does is show how well they do what they do. Good on you target keep up the good work!

I was visiting Tampa, parked my car and had my hands full of luggage. Decided to go put my things in the room came back 15 mins later my car was gone. Here the thing that made absolutely no sense, they charged me for the parking spot $45 and the ticket read : you have 30 days to pay it and they towed me and had to paid them $215 to get my car back. That’s double charging!!!! I will fight this, this is fraudulent the way they do business.

On O6/28/18, we called this company to pick up and tow our car in another state. We were told there would be no storage fees for the first ten days after they picked it up. By 3:56 pm that same day Shelby called to say they had towed the car. Actually, they consigned the job out to another tow company and they did not tell me this. Shelby said they would call me back the next day with all the details (where my car was towed) etc. The next day Shelby said I should overnight a cashiers check and when they received payment they would let me know where to pickup my car. So on 7/2/18, I sent the check and they received it and cashed it on 7/3. I tried calling this company many times in the next few days to find out where to pickup my car but no one knew anything about my vehicle or where it was located. I was told by Carmelo that Shelby didnt put the information in the database, but he would have the information the next day for me. He never called me back the next day and I tried calling him on 7/6, 7/7, and 7/8, and got no answer. Finally, I found out that Target had to pay the other tow company that actually did the job before my car would be released. At one point Carmelo said I was a persistent person and that was going to cost me more money. On 7/13, Target paid the other towing company and they charged me an additional storage fee for 5 extra days of $150.00. Target Recovery is the worst run business that I have ever seen. They are rude on the phone when they do answer the phone and do not return calls. My advice would be to run as fast as you can in the other direction. Dont expose yourself to these incompetent nasty people.

If you are one of the various citizens who have been victimized by this company I suggest you consult a lawyer and file a complaint through Hillsborough consumer services. This company is nefarious vindictive and relentless. They have a long standing history of illegal tows and violations due to breaking Florida statues. My car was illegally towed and illegally withheld from me from private property on 12/7/19. As well as causing significant damage to my vehicle this company does not comply with Florida state laws. Hillsborough county will enforce any broken statues and review revoking this company’s towing certificate if investigation is deemed accurate. So again if you have been a victim ensure you file a complaint so we can hold this company accountable for their unlawful actions.

I heard about this place very bad PR. Had a friends car towed by this company had damage to the vehicle and they told her it was there already. Thing about it is that a picture was taken about 20 min before they towed it on the same side in the driveway. All i can say is I wish I was there when they towed it, it would have been a different story!!!

The young gentleman helping me get my truck back after it got impounded handled my emotional mood swings perfectly. Totally disrespectful and aggressive.My sister is a CVS employee and parked her car in front of CVS store 3930. When she comes back, she found out that her car was towed and she should pay 200$. The CVS store manager was really helpful and decided to call the towing company to inform them that my sister is an employee. While waiting for their call, the towing company called us liars and that my sister got her scrubs from someone else. They didn’t wanna wait for the manager to call them. They were even about to close the window on my sister’s hand. At the end, after just 5 mins, CVS called and we got our car for free. However, these 5 mins were so horrible and the attitude of the employees were totally disrespectful. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would.

Absolutely a fraud. I wasnt even the customer. They claim 24hours and answered the phone after 5 attempts. Gave shoddy directions to the customer horrible service window. Rang buzzer, knocked, rang buzzer, knocked....no response. I then recalled. The person on the phone said someone will be there in 30 to 45 minutes. WHAT ???I was a UBER driver taking a passenger to get his car back. BTW Seemed wrongfully towed in the first place from CVS in SoHo while he was waiting for a prescription to be filled at the CVS on Howard. Shady towing company, had my wedding and guests paid for parking and got towed anyway and were forced to pay to get the car despite having a receipt for my parking. Sue this company if you can, I did, Morgan and Morgan did. Get all the money you can out of this shady company.

No respect for the neighborhood or for pedestrians or bicyclists. This business routinely operates its vehicles on the sidewalks, blocking both the sidewalk and bike lane and forcing pedestrians and bicyclists into busy traffic. Customers are forced to park on the sidewalk and bike lane too - even though the property is basically one big parking lot, the business refuses to provide any room for customer parking whatsoever. Tow trucks in a hurry to find another victim roar down neighborhood side streets at night, leaving frightened pets and kids in their wake.

It took over an hour to get them to even answer the phone. And we had to show up to get the car in a place that wasnt well described.

When I questioned and invalidated their reasoning for towing my car, they would just add another reason.

Our wheel well cover came off while driving down I-75. We pulled over to check it out and the driver from Target Towing pulled over right behind us to help out. He helped us and didnt even charge us at all, just being a good Samaritan. Highly recommended!

WORST experience EVER! The guy is dishonest, called me obscene names, and taunted me saying I was a cry baby. ALL because he quoted me a price to retrieve my van, and then when I got there changed it!! Ive never had my car towed before, and I have to say it was a HORRIFIC experience! Towed my vehicle from a complex parking lot without warning or seeing whose vehicle it was, we were no more than 50 feet away so I gotta give them props for being silent. Also damaged my vehicle and refused to compensate for said damages.

I had a rather difficult situation where my car broke down in the middle of a construction zone on the interstate. The driver was in the traffic when he noticed my car, so he pulled into the lane to pull me out. He was very kind, and drove me to a gas station about 5 miles away. Even though I was incredibly relieved to have someone there to get me out of that traffic, and I admit I was quite overwhelmed I can not say overall I had a perfect experience. The reason Im disappointed is that I do believe I was ripped off, $75 for a 5 mile tow is not a normal job. Unfortunately, because of the emergency of the situation I had to pay up but I definitely feel taken advantage of.

I would give zero stars if I could. Incompetent and rude. They demand outrages fees and cant even explain to you how they derive the price. They had one price on the pricelist beside their window and then tried charging me almost $100 more then the price that applied to my vehicle. When I asked why? they tried telling me my vehicle weight was almost 5000 lbs heavier then it actually is. Like Im an idiot. They get over on all these tourist but not getting over on me. I literally had to show my registration to the guy at the front just to prove my vehicle weight since they dont have scales on the property. Absolute joke. Then the manager on duty had the audacity to tell me i should pretty much bow down to his will and not question him if I want my vehicle. I parked in the wrong spot and unfortunately got my car towed. Lesson learned. Low on funds, and wasnt able to pick my car till after-hours. One of the managers was willing to work with me in waiving the after-hours fee when they didnt have. Real nice and understanding guy. Made a bad situation/poor decision less stressful. Had home cleaners over at my house in a private residential community. Mind you, this was mid morning on a work-week day. They were parked outside my home where they could easily unload/load the supplies needed. They werent even at my house for 20 minutes before their cleaning vehicle was taken from them. The audacity of this company is unlike anything I have ever seen before. Absolutely ruthless with no regard for people trying to accommodate others. Many other home-owners have become disgruntled in my housing community over the shear desperation of these people. Sad to see this happen to individuals regularly.

Awful services and customer service. I called over 25 hra ago to a have a truck removed and it was still in my lot this morning. I called a again today and Robert picked up still asleep and unable to make a complete aentsente. After asking why the car was not removed yesterday he mumbled something about diapaxdisp and hung up on me.Fast forward an hour later and I call back because the car is still there. Robert picks up again and proceeds to argue with me about hanging up on me and tells me to find another tow company.

So I get off of work to find out my car had been towed, thats fine but when its time to pick up my car not only did I had to wait 2 hours. These people are full of b.s.. you quote one price get there its another story. Then Im from out of state so my registration has my signature on the back yet it wasnt acceptable. These ignorant people then wanted my people to email not fax over a copy of my contract even though everything clearly has my name on it. So please tell my while they were towing my car my car has damage as well as now my dash is doing something It wasnt doing before. Yet when the Manger was requested he never once showed up to address these issues I was experiencing. Oh and when my people were trying to contact them they did not answer the phone. So while waiting in their caged area I called and they was just trying to get more money because I had to keep calling and banging on the cage to get a response by making their dog bark. Scamers

This company took a car that they legally did not have a right to take. Gentleman at yard was rude and discourteous. Id recommend calling a lawyer first and foremost before you even try to get your car back from these crooks.

They go inside your car ( even if it is locked ) and steal your property. An employee stole a pair of earrings from my vehicle which was sentimental. I called the owner (Chris, who was not there when his employee went into my car) and told him was happened and without asking the questions he stated he denied the whole thing. One employee stated she placed them in a bag and another employee stated she never found earrings in my car. This has resulted in a Theft Case on them. DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!

We went to Tampa Meps for my son to swear into the Army and walked out to find my car was towed by these crooks at Target R/T. First off when we got to Tampa Meps there was no available parking. I drove to the lot next to the Meps building not noticing the Tow Away Sign of Unauthorized Vehicles. The lot I parked in was a shopping center with small businesses. They had a HUGE lot that was pretty much empty. I had no idea that lot was only for the people going into that shopping center. Either way when I noticed my car was missing, I called Recovery because I saw their # on a sign close by but nobody answered. I then saw a Recovery truck coming in to tow another car which obviously shows this scheme they have going on is a gold mine! I went up to the guy to ask if he towed my car. He proceeded to tell me yes they had my car and it would cost $170 to release it. He gave me the address which was about 6 miles away. I had to pay an Uber driver to take my family out there in a very sketchy neighborhood to pick up my car. The building they own doesnt even have the companys name Target instead it says Sunstate. Its almost like they prefer not having their name or address disclosed. Everything about their office is sketchy from the bars, to the small area where the customer can barely stand in, and the fact that you can barely see the employees through the very small window. We tried to talk to the manager about lowering the price since we only had $80 cash and we drove an hour and a half that morning to see our son swear in to the Army but the guy was so rude. He literally had no heart or sympathy, he just said too bad you should not have parked in that lot. You have to pay $170 and we take CASH only and threw our credit card back at us. My husband had to walk a couple miles away to a check cash store to pull out the money and pay these crooks since they dont even have an ATM on sight. I cannot believe how this company prys on others making money off their misery. Here we are doing a good service having our son enlist in the Army only to walk out heartbroken and find out that some crooks towed our car. They capitalize on others mistakes and have no regard or sympathy to try and work something out later. It is of no surprise to me that I researched their company after the incident and found so many bad reviews from them hiring felons to their drivers driving recklessly through sidewalks and flipping people off. The customer service at this facility is terrible. Do not be fooled by the handful of good reviews which are probably from friends or family. This company will rip you off and then belligerently scream in your face with no sympathy for your situation. All I can say is I honestly feel sorry for the people who work for such a company. It must be really tough capitalizing on others suffering and walking away with no regard. I feel sorry that Recovery thinks this is the only way to make money in the world. Due to companies like this America is losing companies with high ethics and business standards because people are robbing Peter to pay Paul and everyone is suffering!!! Look around Recovery youre a part of it!

This company is horrible! They are crooks and are clearly targeting people. They towed my vehicle from a strip mall while I was attending an event. Their response was I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. All of the businesses were closed except the place I was going to. I was parked in the only space available when I arrived and the tow away sign was not only not visible it was on the side of the building in the opposite direction of the place I was going to. After hanging up on me several times they told me that I had to bring them $200 or I could not get my car back. Mind you this is at 2:00 am and they took my car with my purse in it! When I informed them that I had no way of getting any money because they had my purse they informed me that they had an ATM machine onsite for my convenience. Coincidentally when I arrived there the ATM was out of cash and I had to find another one. When I spoke with the owner of the establishment I was attending a couple of days later she informed me that she had not authorized any towing of vehicles of her own customers as that would be ridiculous. She stated that they would only tow cars that were left overnight. She was shocked when I explained to her that I was only there for a short time and had run to my car to get some gum and 10 mins later came outside to find that my car was gone. my belief is that the tow truck driver saw me get the gum out of my car and return to the establishment at which point he swiped my car. I mean when I called the towing company after I figured out that my car had not been stolen(which was my original thought) I was told that it had not arrived yet which means that he had just left and could have easily turned around and brought my car back.

I cannot believe the dangerous and reckless behavior of this companies employee. One of their tow trucks jumped the curb to get around stopped traffic in a construction zone today. Someone should revoke their license to operate.

Our vehicle was repoed by another company from south Florida and target rents space to other companys. While in the care of Target our truck was used 2 days that we can confirm for unknown purposes. We know this from the bill that we received and the HCSO investigation into the failure to notify from both recovery companys. From a tip inside Target Recovery we now know they employ felons and are very likely involved in narcotics trafficking from Miami. BTW WE did pay our bills on time, guess that is why we have a very hefty lawsuit going, but does not explain why when the vehicle was in the care of TARGET RECOVERY that it was being used for PERSONAL uses!!! Also does not explain why when we came down there we spotted 3 people working as drivers with felony records for grand theft and drug related convictions....hum....active imagination indeed :) keep thinking your slick......because your not!CARLOS MADENFRANCISCO TOMMASISTEPHEN DUGGER
