Great place, great guys! I had an issue on my leave from The Army, and they fixed it within the hour! And referred me to their other store Tito’s for my tire change, all in all took about 2hrs. Solid people, great and fast. Truly supportive to Service member!

They are very friendly... a bit too friendly. Joking of course. Theyre great people. In terms of customer service. Theyre like the Chick-Fil-A of repair shops.

Very good customer service and quick repairs. They are truthful and frank with the cars condition and necessary repairs and dont try to get you jumping at problems that arent there to make a quick buck. Small team though, so there might be a delay if you give them too much to do at once.

I took my truck here and got some pretty major front end work done, as well as some steering column work. Mr. William who runs the shop is an amazing mechanic who is incredibly honest and fair. His work is superb and his prices are super reasonable. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a shop that wont jerk them around and wants quality work at a fair price. I was traveling to California in my motorhome and halfway thru Tampa the alternator failed. Fortunately Joses shop was close and he was able to order and install a new alternator the next day. He and his staff are very competent and helpful. Thank for all your efforts.

I am writing this review on behalf of my uncle. He brought my Grandma’s 2003 Cadillac CTS in for much needed repairs. This place was very reasonably priced, and had great customer service. He is beyond satisfied with the work performed, and the overall experience at Jose’s Auto Center. He will be using Jose’s in the future for any repairs needed.

Took my car in for a small oil leak and check engine light. Somehow I needed all my gaskets changed and my timing belt changed which my car doesn’t have, it has a serpentine belt. Total came to $1,600. Took it to another shop and the work I really needed was a quarter of that. Leak was very localized so don’t know how all my gaskets could’ve been leaking. Be wary of this shop telling you that you need more work than what you really need.

Jose is a great, Christian man, full of faith, love and diligence. I see him as the grandfather I always wanted. He truly cares about his customers and I have never been disappointed going there. The love and respect that I have for him and his beautiful family is overwhelming. Going to the mechanic is usually not the best feeling in the world, especially for your pockets but when I go to Joses, I feel like I am family and that changes my mood completely.

Our car caught a flat and we called every where nothing! Finally we got in touch with Jose who informed us that he had the tire but was leaving soon.. we got there at exactly 6pm when they were closing the gate... he immediately reopened and didn’t hesitate to help us.... Honest, reputable, and someone you can count on to explain to you what is really going on with your auto. The folks at Joses Auto Center fixes what needs to be fixed and does not try to sell you something you do not need. I have been going to them for over 15 years and have never had an issue with a repair, they stand by their work.When someone comes to me to ask for a good mechanic I always refer them to this shop because I have a reputation as well!!!!

I am honestly humbled by my experience here. Earlier today I went to another business to get an alignment but as soon as I left I realized my turn signals were dead. When I went back they called it a coincidence and pointed out other electrical problems my car is having, then they put me under the impression that I needed to replace my turn signal switch and gave me an estimate. Thankfully I did not allow them to keep working on my car and came here instead.The owner ordered the switch for my car model which arrived very quickly and he installed it fast, but the reason why you should bring your car to THIS shop is because of what happened next: He installed the turn signal switch but the problem remained so he decided to look into it. What he found was that just a fuse needed replacement, not the entire signal switch. Even so he had gotten the part sent to him and installed it he was kind and honest enough to tell me what the real problem was and fixed my turn signal switch in no time. Also, he was kind enough to realize the kind of day I was having and told me he was charging only for the labor as we went to the register.Ive come directly home to write this review because I know its difficult to find honest people who do honest work but Im very happy to see I found a place to trust. I dont think Ill be going to any other shop for as long as I live in Tampa. Do yourself a favor. Bring your car here.

Joses is the best! I love that they are a family owned establishment. I am a single mom with twin boys and I am so thankful to have Joses to bring my car in for repairs. They are extremely nice and honest about what needs to be done. Jose calls me to tell me what needs to be repaired now and what can wait until later. I am from out of town and found this business on Google Maps and after reading the reviews, decided to take my truck there. Jose greeted me and I explained what my trucks symptoms were and he had one of his mechanics replace a sensor and while it was on the rack, I had them replace my rear shocks that I had in the truck with me. My father owned a service station and I worked there as a kid and I know a good mechanic when I meet one. Will definitely use this company again and do highly recommend them. This is a private family owned business. Joses wife works the office and he answers the phone. Good people. Very clean shop and professional service.

My husband was referred to Joses Auto Service through the Vocational Rehabilitation of Florida.When we met Jose he was immediately very friendly and explained the process of getting ourcar repaired through VR. My husband had gone to two other shops prior to going to Jose forestimates on the repairs needed to the car. Jose was not only at least 1/2 the cost of the otherrepair shops but he told my husband that the other shops wanted to charge him for parts he didnteven need. My Father-In-Law changed some of these parts himself only months before, so myhusband KNEW they didnt need replaced again! Jose was very honest and his staff are very friendly.His prices are excellent and he goes out of his way to make sure his customers are satisfied. My husbandand I have been using his garage for all of our car needs ever since. I would HIGHLY recommend him toanyone without question. He wont cheat you and his work is top quality.

Had a problem with the electrical system on my car took the car in and when I got it back not all of the buttons where working correctly --little stuff like no more automatic windows, but after a week that suddenly fixed itself.Then the radiator hose suddenly blows out 2 weeks after. Take the car in fine... but a day or two latter I notice I now have a sound like crickets coming from my engine. And a week after that my breaks sound like grinding on metal.Take the car in AGAIN... and the brakes are adjusted... Wife is driving the car and the next time I drive it 3 days later I notice the grinding sound is gone BUT now the breaks are high pitched squealing noise...This all seems very convenient that problem 1 happens and two week later problem 2 and then problem 3, 4 & 5.

I could never go anywhere else! Jose and his family take great care of me, have the best pricing in town and I never worry about being upsold or told that I need something when I really dont.Thank you Jose and Irma for everything that you do!

Only place aloud to maintenance or touch my vehicle. I visited this place on March 25th and had my vehicle maintenance as well as for brand new tires and Jose never over prices in does great work. Not like some mechanics when you get your vehicle back and suddenly begins to have another problem. Does not happen with this mechanic shop. The people who wrote the poor reviews about Joses Auto Center are obviously from a dealership that have lost business to Jose. Jose has literally saved me thousands of dollars. I had a simple oil change done on my vehicle at MacDill AFB and they stripped the bolt to my oil pan. While deployed, my wife brought the car to a dealership. They said the oil pan was discontinued and told her that it would cost more ($3000-$4000) than the car was worth and she should therefore buy a new vehicle. She brought the car to Joses and he fixed it for under $800.A year later I was having problems with my vehicle again. I once again took my car to a dealership and was told to buy a new car and that the work would cost $3000+. Brought the car back to Jose and told him I thought the dealership was ripping me off. Jose fixed my car for $850.Dont waste your time reading the negative reviews, bring your car to Jose and youll find out for yourself that hes the best and most trustworthy mechanic in all of Tampa.

I have been going to Joses for over ten years after a referral from a friend. I am writing this review because someone going for the first time might have second thoughts. Joses Auto has been there a long time, sits off the main road, and you wont find a squeaky clean lobby and coffee. You will find one of the hardest working and best mechanics in Tampa. I have moved over an hour away from his shop and still take my cars there for repairs. I actually worry about when he is going to retire. After thinking about all the companies that I have done business with in the last 10 years in Tampa, Joses Auto would be on a very short list of my favorites. If you have not found your go to mechanic in Tampa, Joses is a true family owned gem.

Poor service. Paid to get my jeep fixed and they could not fix it. Still had to pay 600.00 for labor. Makes no sense.

If I could put no stars, I would. This man claims to be an honest Christian man, but all he is is a Money hungry crook who thinks adding insult to injury will gain him something. After almost 4K in repairs, my vehicle is still showing the same lights from the first time I took him my car. He claims every single time it is a new problem so that he can charge every time. Yet, THE SAME LIGHTS KEEP TURNING ON IN MY CAR! He claims it’s bc of the make of the vehicle, clears out the lights with a specific machine, and then a few weeks later when the same lights come on, he claims it’s a whole new problem. A God-fearing man should know that Being dishonest and scamming people out of money is very much frowned upon. Don’t waste your time OR money here. He will continue to heist you out of money and then claim he is an honest person. Liar and a thief! No gasten su tiempo aquí. Spent 3 hours waiting for tires just to be told to come back the next day cause they ripped one of the tires on the machine. A waste of time
