As a person who works on their vehicles, I am a bit leary taking my cars into a repair shop. However, there are times I have to as I don’t have the necessary equipment to do so. I figured I’d try Pro Auto Care since there are literally less than a mile away and their reviews were impeccable. Sent a message via their website to obtain service and received a quick response. Trustworthy, honest and very detailed repair shop. They gave me my choices pertaining to my vehicle on what it needed. No pressure or gimmicky sales tactics. Kept me in the loop from beginning to end. Earned my respect and business which is hard to do. Thanks!

I have used Pro Auto several times over the past couple of years and work done has always been done in a professional manner. Cost for parts are a little high but to be expected during these times. Still reasonable. Never had any problems or had to return to correct any work done. A lot better than anyone else I have used in the local area.

Went here for an alignment and Ralph was nice from the beginning you need to make an appointment but the car works fantastic and Ill be going there again soon-pizza man

I called for a new tire as l had hit a curb hard enough to cause a bubble on my sidewall. I spoke with Rick about what tire I needed. He steered me to an exact match because the car is an Audi with Quattro drive. When the out the door price was over $100 LESS than Firestone Tires, and not knowing when the tire could even be shipped, this just became a “No Brainer”. The tire was in and ready to be installed the next afternoon. Done. And Done!

I’ve been coming to Pro Auto Care since I moved to Florida a couple years ago. I recently went in for a tire check, they repaired the problem tire and I was done within 30 minutes! They are upfront & honest and phenomenal customer service every time!

My car just shut off one day, my insurance company sent a tow truck and being new to Tampa, the guy gave us a few suggestions of different shops he has taken other cars to and never had any issues with. We picked Pro Auto. I am so happy we did I. They were quick and kept me informed every step of the way. Rick I spoke with on many occasions, was always nice and professional and extremely helpful! They did not try to take advantage of me, I have had other shops do that because I am a woman. I will continue to use them for a my automotive needs. After having our 98 Corvette towed to their shop, they called the very next day to discuss my problem(s), they emailed pictures of the problem areas with a comprehensive review. They had our vehicle fixed and running great in two days. Excellent service, people and workmanship.

My wife and I relocated from Pennsylvania and didnt know where in our area to bring our cars for regular maintenance. Building a good relationship with a auto repair shop can be stressful, expensive, and a real task. Based on the online reviews we selected Pro Auto Care. Rick and the folks at Pro Auto Care did not disappoint! They were thorough, providing good insight and recommendations into what each vehicle needed. Our one car has almost 200k miles. He was quick to point out a couple small issues (I was already aware them) but he was also quick to explain based on the age and mileage those issues were normal and we shouldnt worry about those issues other than to keep an eye them. To me, THAT is the foundation of a reputable repair facility; not trying to make a sale to the guy with out of state license plates but rather EARNING my respect and business for a long time to come.Tipping my cap to a job well done, sir.

Pro Auto did a great job fixing our car. They have great body techs there. The body work was beautifully done! They made the car look like it did when we bought it. Their painter is top notch. He blended the paint with such skill!! I’m very happy we chose this shop for the repairs.

I had the A/C inspected for leaks and the system drained and re-charged. As always they were professional, courteous, and fast. Had my truck back in an hour. Nothing more or less than I needed. This is now my go-to repair shop.

Came in for an inspection on a used car. Rick was friendly and easy to work with. Also gave straight forward answers to any questions I had.

Great work! My car was in and out in a day after check engine light came on. They found the problem fixed and also sent me a text with a link of how my car is running and important info! Loved it I don’t trust many repair places but I definitely come back to this place

Dan & Rick were great! They both made sure that not only was my alignment and brakes were done correctly, but gave advice on what needed to be done on my escape and which order of priority without any pressure. I just moved to the area and these guys are great mechanics, without needing to worry whether you will have hidden fees or have to come back with new charges if something wasnt resolved.

Service was excellent, during the tire change the tire sensor broke and was promptly replaced at no extra cost, which is cool. In my experience, other shops dont take the responsibility when something brakes during service, so in that respect, this shop will be my go to place

When the check engine light came on in my 17-year-old car, I took it to a car repair shop that I had been using for a few years. They checked it out and I was told that the problem was because of a vacuum leak and it was nothing to be concerned about. I drove it for a day or so, heard more noises and took it back and was reassured that there was nothing to worry about. I didn’t feel safe driving the car and continued to hear these noises, so rather than take it back to the same shop, I decided to take it to Pro Auto Care after reading reviews about it on a Facebook page. I explained to Rick that the check engine light was on and was previously told it was nothing to worry about, but I wanted a second opinion. I also told him I was hearing strange noises from under the hood and needed someone to test drive the car to see if they heard the noises I heard. Rick drove it and sure enough, he heard the same noise I heard and told me he suspected it might be a power steering problem. They not only took care of the check engine light problem and the power steering problem, but they also noticed a burnt smell under the hood that I knew about but didn’t mention it because I thought the power steering issue would take care of it. They took care of that as well and now the car runs as good as it did the day I drove it off the lot several years ago. I highly recommend Pro Auto Care and will take my car there whenever I have a problem.

If I come to your shop and tell you my car isn’t working and it shuts off/wouldn’t start, I paid for the diagnostic test and repairs- I shouldnt be coming back for the same thing. But the next day my car is doing the same thing. You didn’t fix the issue! I shouldn’t have to pay for another diagnostic test for the same issue. Horrible customer service skill and lack of ownership.

When life gives you lemons, take them to Pro Auto Care. My twenty-year-old truck is running like new. I appreciate the friendly and professional service.

My mothers car didnt start last week, called AAA to give the car a jump, during the diagnostic the mechanic said that the alternator needed to be replaced. My mother is 88 yo and this type of stuff really frightens her. I called Veterans Ford only to find out that they dont replace alternator in a Buick. So I called Pro Auto Care on Sheldon, spoke to Rick, he was very professional and kind, said if we could get the car there before closing they would do a diagnostic first (to ensure thats what needed to be done), they would order the part and have it finished the next day (turned out to be 2 days, but due to waiting on the parts delivery). We had AAA tow the car to the Pro Auto shop, they notified us that it had arrived and would keep us updated thru out the process. I received several text updates over the next 2 days which was comforting to my mother to know that they were working on it. I received a call from Dan on Friday that it was ready to be picked up. My mother was so happy that they not only got her car up and running again, but they took the extra step to wash and vacuum the vehicle. She is thrilled with the excellent customer service and care that she received and her car is like brand new. I will add that it is a 2013 Buick Encore with approx 28k miles, so its literally driven by a little old lady to Publix on Wed and church on Sunday.

My experience at Pro Auto Care was with Drew and Dan. Both come off as professional, respectful and proved to be honest. I believe I got a great value given the parts replaced and level of technical expertise. Prior to arrival, I called five shops in the area for quotes and chose PAC due to their reputation, the lowest quote obviously and quality of performance.

Very disappointed - arrived early for my appointment but car was only started on 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment which meant that I sat and waited for almost a hour before anything was attempted on the car.I had scheduled an oil change and when making the appointment a week ahead I asked that a splash guard that had come off the car be replaced. I showed the splash guard for review. I was told that could certainly be arranged when the car was on the lift. I offered a sample fastener from the car and was told that was not necessary as ‘we have all kinds of fasteners in stock’,When the car was finally pronounced ready today - I was told that they had not been able to fix the tray back in place after all because they did not have any fasteners and I would have to come back some other time.I will not be going back.

The best repair shop I have ever dealt with. They told me exactly what they were going to do and they did itI will recommend them to anyone looking for a great honest place to get their vehicle fixed.

They charged way too much money just to replace a battery. They overcharged me at least $100. I had a new battery installed at $160 else where but this place charged me $262. Ridiculous!!!!!! I think I’ll be going elsewhere, they lost a customer, no too smart! Plus they couldn’t find the problem a couple days ago & I needed to get stuck on the road a couple days later till they finally found the problem. Overpriced & terrible knowledge of automobiles.

I’m moving to the area from St. Louis and on the drive down, my 2004 Lexus RX 330 began shuddering when I used the brakes at higher speeds. I immediately searched for a AAA approved auto shop and found Pro Auto Care across the street from my daughter’s neighborhood. They fixed it that day and now I can pass the car to my daughter and her family knowing it’s safe and in the future will be well taken care of should another problem arise.

Pro Auto Care are awesome. Dan and John have always been accommodating. They work around my schedule. The communication is top notch using technology to keep you informed on what they are finding and they are transparent with cost.
