Unfortunately, this company does not value customer service. It is nearly impossible to get a response back via email or phone call. When you get through to a representative via phone, they are completely useless. No one has a clue or they simply do not care. The unprofessionalism is astounding.Additionally, the process to place an ad order is quick, easy, and actually quite lovely. But try to make any changes or cancel and they will treat you like scum. There is no guarantee they will create your ad to your liking or create it in a timely manner.I recommend looking elsewhere for advertising opportunities and stay far away from these people.
Management is great! Wants you to succeed and goes out of their way to be sure you have all the necessary tools to sell advertising. Great environment! Cash handouts daily, lunch provided Fridays & rewarded with early Friday exit when daily number obtained. Youll be hard pressed to find a better environment. Truly a great opportunity!
I am amazed at this companys level of care or lack there of; I can only echo some of the other reviews: Very unprofessional, Scam, How is this company in business?, etc. Less than a week after speaking with them for an advertisement spot, we realized this was not appropriate for our business at this time. When reaching out to them in less than a week, they rudely explained that they would not even consider a refund because they had already promised a commission to the sales person and they were working on the ad (which we now know is a lie as the designer reached out to us two months after this initial conversation). They went as far as suggesting I find a buyer for the spot and sell the ad myself, only then they would consider a refund (WHAT?!). Since we are not moving forward with the ad, they get to resell the spot and pocket the double sale as I am sure they will not be contacting me to offer any restitution. They are very nice and professional until they make a sale, then they do not have the time nor the inclination to work with you. They remind me of the use car salesman stereotype who is only interested in a quick buck, not costumer care.
This is an honest review on Benchcraft company from an employee who was let go after 4 days of work.I started at Benchcraft on Monday, May 17th, I was sent home 30 minutes into work because of a sniffle.I wasn’t allowed to return until I received a COVID test.On Wednesday, May 19th, I returned to work after a negative test, I was given a roughly 30 minute introduction to what we were doing which was “call as many places as you can” “send emails”. I was thrown onto the call floor to start for the first time.On Monday, May 24th, After making 600 calls in 4 days of work. I was let go because of my “inability to meet the sales quota” the corporate office told me they look for new hires to get 3 or more sales in the first week. However I was only given 4 days.Further more I want to say I’m not writing this with any ill will and just want to inform about any new faces coming into an industry or business such as this one.Lastly I’d like to say the male manager there seems like the guy who would try to sell water to a fish & the female manager was pretty wound tight. As for everyone on the call floor they were so kind and helpful! This is my honest review
The gentleman who called told me he was a manager at the golf course I paid for. I sent it the art work and paid in full never heard anything back after. I called and called after that they told me i owed 1500 for score cards after the guy figured out he wasn’t going to scam me out of more money he hung up. I called to make a complaint the person on the phone was also very rude. This place is a scam and I’ll make sure to share as much as possible to let everyone know so this doesn’t happen to them.
I purchase a spot on the Clearwater Country Club score cards in Nov 2020 for $395, which was supposed to go live in Jan 2021 for tax season. In Dec I get another call asking if I wanted to also advertise in another golf course; They offered a 2 for 1 so I went for it. I purchased Bardmore and Landsbrook for another $395 all of which were supposed to go live in Jan 2021.In Jan I received a text message letting me know that everything was finished and they would bill my credit card on file for $395. I called customer service, which is not the number the text message came from, and was told that I only had the 2 contracts, each for $395 and that everything was good and I did not owe anything else. Yet, at the end of Jan I got hit with another $395.Now, its April. Not sure if my ads are even being seen because I have not received any phone calls or emails from people who say they found me there. Anyway, in April I get another text message letting me know that all the artwork has been completed and they will bill me another $795 to the card on file. This time I texted back, instead of calling, telling them to stop because I already paid for 2021 advertising. The response informed me that, yes, I already paid for 2021, this is for 2021-22. I said NO.I wanted to make sure that they would not just charge my card again so I called customer service again. Boy, what a hassle! I felt like I was at an inquisition. I had to explain everything from the beginning and, of course, there is the issue of why am I calling today if the last charge was in Jan? I explained that I wanted to make sure that I would not get charged again....long story short, I guess I donated $395 to a struggling business. I hope that donation does not increase by $795.To rehash what others have apparently said...BUYER BEWARE11
Scammers- bad service- dont know how to talk proper or do their job right. Elvis is pathetic human being! Calling my job to reach me. Go lose your job kid.Theres absolutely no reason why they should have called me! Im reporting them!
In short this company is not reputable. The sales agents will promise things that are not available. They did not make clear what products I was actually buying. When it came time to create the artwork it was not what I purchased. In reviewing the contract, the language was vague as to what I would be getting (shame on me).BE FOREWARNED. THEY ARE NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY!If you are going to do business with them use a credit card. This way if they dont live up to the agreement, you have some recourse. They WILL NOT voluntarily give your money back, even if they are wrong.STAY WAY. SPEND YOUR MARKETING DOLLARS SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Absolutely joke. Everyone tells you something different, I paid for advertising and I am literally golfing at the course that was supposed to have the cards back in May (it was Aug 20th) After I was lied to about the actual course I was purchasing advertising at. I was told the cards went out 15 days ago. The day after I received a text saying they were going to run my card again so they could print. Bunch of scum bags. Buyer beware.
Read the contract...they only guarantee delivery to the golf course, they in no way guarantee that your adds will be shown, displayed, or not thrown in the trash by the golf course! After having my add active for about eight months (just and estimate since they never got back to me to tell me the add was live), They called me to extend the contract for another two years. The thought of having my add visible to all golfers sounded good for that price for two years so I agreed. I have a couple of customers who live in the residence of the course who have told me the never saw any add there at the course. When my employee went to play golf there with his friends and returned to tell me that he didnt see any adds either, I decided to go check for myself. I found that the golf course guides were nowhere to be seen so I asked the employee to see the golf course guide. His puzzled look said it all. He stated that he has never seen a course guide since he worked there (several months). Calling customer service simply got me a we cant verify that every golf course is going to do what they are supposed to do! So apparently they guaranty only that they will print the adds, not that they will be displayed, handed out and they are not ashamed of it, nor will they help you get them displayed. Im in for two golf courses for three years. This is possibly a huge waste of money.
This company operates as Bench Craft and Game Day Media. They are literally committing interstate fraud. Why law enforcement hasnt shut down these people yet is beyond me. They take your credit card for $1,000 and never deliver the advertisements to the schools and sports events they allegedly are having you sponsor. The people on the other side know nothing of what these people are selling. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!.
This company is a scam!! They charged me for a score card ad that never appeared and hit my credit card two more times one for the same golf course and hit it again for another golf course who doesnt even have ads on score cards both unauthorized transactions and refuse to refund the money
Major scam. Dont spend your money here.
This place is a scam. I paid for both of my companies to be placed in 2 golf resorts and I called the golf courses and they had no idea what I was talking about. I also visited the resorts and seen no score cards with my ads on them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
This place is a scam! Dont work there, or purchase their products.
They send spam email to entire professions....
Unorganized. This place sells ad space
Best job ever
