Despite some poor reviews, I’ve only had good experiences here. By good, I mean I was able to get in and out fairly quickly and the staff was generally pleasant. They have their services down to a science, and once you are seen, the medical staff are efficient and good at what they do. The interior is in need of a remodel, so if you’re expecting a plush waiting area, you’re in for a disappointment. But your wait will most likely be short.

Hope is the best phlebotomist Ive ever had! She is always happy, kind and polite. I used to be very nervous having blood taken, but she makes me feel comfortable and keeps my mind distracted during the draw. First time Ive walked out of Labcorp not feeling faint.

Keep it up!Walk-In Appointment : And btw if you want to beat the crowd, just come early ☺️, I went there the other day around 9am and the lab is full, so decided to come 7am today as walk in coz there’s no available online, and there’s already like 6 people waiting, but I didn’t stay that long, I was done like in less than 20minutes. So, than you again HOPE!March 2021: Wow, the quickest visit I have! I arrived there around 8:30am, and I think I’m the 5th in line. I did my check in which is thru walk-in via kiosk, but you can do it also online. And got called in like 5 mins, for my lab order and payment. Then the phlebo tech called me in the next 2 mins and took my blood, all in all, I’m just in their clinic for like 10-15 minutes max! Thank you Melly, she’s really good!

This is the best lab that I have ever been to. Every single time that I’ve had to have lab work done in the last three years, I have always elected to come to this Labcorp.Every single time the service has been amazing. Getting my blood drawn was absolutely smooth and routine. I have never had to wait long to get anything done. I highly recommend.

I have been using this LabCorp for years..Front Desk staff at one time I would give a one star. But the past year being there 3 times I find every one very pleasant. Yes waiting can be an hour or so but I feelBlessed to be in a country to have these available for us. I spend time reading or praying and thetime goes by before you know it….

I was sceptical about coming here because of the poor reviews, however, my experience was awesome. I checked in at 8:18 a.m. and was called back by 8:23 a.m. My technician, James was great! I barely felt a thing. I was out by 8:26 a.m. I would definitely recommend this Labcorp location.

I arrived at at the LabCorp on Tim Gamble Road at 1:25 PM and I left five minutes later, literally. I have put off blood work in the past because of another location being completely full with standing room only for hours and people talking to each other and complaining a couple years ago. So this was a great experience. There was no one in the waiting room. And it was a contact-less check-in process.

I had a very positive experience at this location. I checked in on my phone in the parking lot and they texted me when they were ready for me to come inside. The technicians were very nice and friendly. I booked a morning appointment and I was done in 10 minutes.

Went into Tim Gamble facility today and I was the only patient in waiting room. I signed into the check in and sat down.10 minutes pass by and a young lady calls my name to the counter.I asked her if I could have my doctors order copy please because my other doctor whom is a surgeon had sent my pre surgical orders to Quest. And my Endocrinologist and Surgeon needed to coordinate my results for surgery.The young lady rolls her eyes at me. There was zero eye contact. She gets up from her chair picks up a highlighter and highlights some things on my order.I explained to her that I had several tests that were done at Quest and that we needed a comparison from same lab 6 months prior at Quest and to please let me have my doctor order so I could go back to Quest.She was highly rude, no eye contact AND HANDED ME THE WRONG EREQ ORDER!I CALL the PSC to find out what this ladys PST number was so I could file a complaint and got patient services instead.I am a Medical Assistant and I was dressed in my scrubs.What if I was a Doctor standing there?I wasted my time and after leaving that facility with no Doctor order due to this ladys attitude. If you work in Healthcare be kind to your patients at all times.Alot of us patients are sick and last thing we need are bad attitudes at check in and on top of that rolling eyes and no eye contact.For the reasons above I will make sure all my Specialists and primary doctor sends me to Quest from now on.Especially reading all the comments here looks like Tim Gamble isnt doing any better than when I worked at that facility for 2 years back in 2008.Get it together......Its about the patient, dignity, and maybe a thank you. since we are wearing masks and cant see a smile. 😡😡

Made an appointment online for 9:30 am on a Tuesday and arrived a little early. Did the kiosk check-in, waited 15 minutes for drawing blood (10 minutes ahead of my scheduled time). The technician was friendly and painless with the needle. Would use again! Suggest friendlier greetings from the desk attendant and help with education on using the check-in system.

The actual blood drawing experience is always quick and professional. Ive had various experiences as far as the wait. I usually go in the late afternoon (2ish) and the whole process takes about 15min. I went once first thing on a Saturday and the whole process took 2 hrs. I had my young daughter with me that time and all the staff were very sweet to her even though she was getting a bit stir crazy with the wait.

Tim Gamble updated, clean. Phlebotomists well skilled in drawing blood, and I am a hard stick. If you are a hard stick, drink lots of water before you go. Make an appointment and youll be in pretty quickly, although the waiting room might be full. Sometimes you have an appointment but someone is out and draw staff is doing double duty, so you just have to wait, like getting a restaurant table when a waiter calls out. Staff helpful.

Slow. Inefficient. They dont have any apparent rhyme or reason as to how they function. All three express check in kiosks were out of order.The entire lobby smelled of old urine. Nothing appeared to have been cleaned. Choose another branch. This one is awful.

Went have blood drawn. 6 patients waiting only one taken in over 30 minutes. Wet to find out why they were so slow. Was told that only one person on staff. I left totally disgusted.

This type of facility should be well maintained and clean. The service workers were either rushing while working (with needles mind you), or impatient with their own lack of skill in finding a vein. My daughter was stuck 5 times by 2 workers who could not draw blood with accuracy on the first try.

Made an appointment online for 6:45 am on a Tues. Did the kiosk check-in, waited exactly 8 minutes, and was having blood drawn. Tech was friendly and accurate with the stick. Would use again! It was getting a little busier by 7 am so I would go as early as possible.

It they could be given lower than 1 star I would! Thus place no matter which one you go to is awful. Customer service sucks and you are going to wait. If you are the only one in the waiting room. The staff is always rude, then you may have one tech that is nice. They have been this way for years.

Staff very welcoming, helpful and efficient. In and out in 10 minutes. Clean. Water and other amenities available. Only wish you could contact someone by phone to talk to personally at facility. Travel 60 miles to get bloodwork. Wanted to confirm order was there sent by fax from primary care physician.

To the managers and supervisors that manage this place. HIRE A RECEPTIONIST TO ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!!! Your office staff is far too busy dealing with incoming patients to stay on the phone!!! You are a business!!! You should not have to call a business 50 times to get a response or check on your labwork. Utterly ridiculous!!!! HIRE MORE STAFF TO HANDLE THE VOLUME OF PATIENTS!!!!!!!!!!! Its total chaos and you will lose business to Quest and other labs. FIX THE ISSUES.

Set up a 0915 appointment a week in advance. Checked in early at the front desk with my confirmation and was told the system is down so it would be longer wait than my appointment but couldnt give me a timeline. Counted 6 people so far and still waiting. I should of just walked in last week instead of wasting my time scheduling.

Not sure about all the negative reviews, but I have been here several times throughout my pregnancy and have always been so impressed with how quick and easy! With early appointments I’ve been in and out in ten minutes or less every time and everyone working there is always so pleasant.

Checked in at 0615 due to having to be at work at 0700. Called back at 0635. Out by 0640. Had blood drawn for a preemployment screening. There were ten people in total in the waiting room when I arrived including myself. The whole process was quick which is what I needed.

Came in to an empty waiting room so that was a positive. Said a bright and cheery good morning to the ladies behind the glass. Was greeted with them continuing their conversation about how one of them was suing someone and was going to get all her money. That was followed by you got your insurance card and then theyll call you in a minute.I havent made to the back yet and Im the only one here :). Im going to blame it on Christmas Eve and them not wanting to be here. I refuse to believe that the customer service is this bad.Thanking God for good health and only having to deal with this once every two years :)

They have an appointment system but no real point in using. It. You still wait an hour. They just don’t care about their clients. No communication effort made.Back again they added new kiosks to speed up system.... seems they slow down system. Waiting room full. Can you say over booking. This place is a disgrace

I arrived at 1:08 on a Wednesday. Checked in immediately, was called back a few minutes later, blood taken by a pleasant lady and out the door at 1:16. I was amazed as it is usually packed! I do think it would help the morale of the staff and clients if the decor was updatedas it is a little drab.

What a joke of a company. If you try calling them, it just rings nonstop until the line disconnects. If you try and schedule an appointment through the website, it doesnt offer the full range of testing options that your doctor tells you you need. And this isnt just this one location. Literally EVERY location in Tallahassee has this problem. Wonder why people think the healthcare system in America is terrible? Its companies like LabCorp that are making the strongest case to scrap the whole system and start over.

WORTHLESS, unorganized and they violate H.I.P.P.A!! I work in healthcare and Ive been to the Tim Gamble location several times before because its closest to my job and most covenient to get early morning fasting labs from before I go to work. First few times my doc gave me a paper script for routine fasting labs Ive had no problems there, but now that my docs office has switched to sending labs electronically and/or faxing them there--TWICE now I go there early in the morning and they claim that they have nothing from my doc and Im turned away! And the girl at the desk is so unapologetic and rude about it like she hates her job and could care less! And why in 2019 are medical offices still calling patients out by their first AND last name together!!?? Who manages this place?

Went in with a valid lab sheet which the doctor had not marked what lab tests wanted done. The doctors phone number was clearly marked on the lab sheet. Instead of calling the doctor to find out what lab tests needed to be done, receptionists wrote VOID in big letters, making that lab sheet useless and making it so I had to go back to my personal physician to get another lab sheet, making it so I missed my lab tests and making it so I had to postpone and reschedule my appointment with my specialist for 4 weeks later on a medical condition which was considered very serious. There seems to be no thought or consideration for the needs of Lab Corps customers. Is rudeness one of the qualifications that Lab Corp looks for when it hires its receptionists?

Sat for 45 minutes in a packed waiting room. Understood I would probably have to wait a while....especially since I didnt make an appointment. When I realized I was still waiting while NEW people were being called back, I went to the window to see why I was still waiting and realized I had been skipped. The person was nice enough, but there was no apology and I had to continue to wait an additional 15 minutes before being called. Beyond irritated.

Why make a appointment of you end up waiting 30 min past your appointment time. Most places charge you if you miss a appointment without cancelling 24 hrs in advance, if only the role could be reversed for making you wait way past your appointment time. This place is a joke

Cant call the facility in Tallahassee, Florida!! When I was sitting waiting for my turn for a blood test, the phone just rang and rang and NO one even attempted to answer it. No welcoming at front desk, no smile,, no thank you, no nothing. LabCorp should be ashamed of its services, employees and dirty facility. Front desk would offer NO ONE a mask that came in coughing. Disgusting facility, lack of management.

The staff is rude. The facility is grimy. The waits are way too long even with an appointment. There is no use in complaining because management obviously doesn’t think there’s a problem. A few years ago I wrote a letter to their corporate office and received not one tiny response. If your doctor orders bloodwork at LabCore insist on alternatives (i.e., draw blood in doctors office if possible). This place doesn’t deserve our business. CHP should lean on them to improve or find another option (the LabCorp in the CHP building is a bit better but not much).

Okay so this was my first time at a place like this. Im not a fan. The atmosphere is dingy and smelly. Most of the employees were polite-ish (but there always has to be that one girl who cant control herself). I really think this place was seriously understaffed for today.I had an appointment at 9:00am. At 9:30 i hadnt been called yet. So, I approached the receptionists/nurses to asked if I would be seen soon because I had no idea how busy they would be.I was trying not to be annoyed because they were obviously busy and behind.At 9:55, I had to ask for my paperwork back so I could leave because I had another appointment at 10:30 (of course they didnt know that and probably wouldnt have cared).The phlebotomist walked up at that time and said it would only take her a few minutes.I stayed and was able to leave right at 10....but dang man! Thats a long time with an appointment. I feel sorry for the people without an appointment.Ill have to ask my doctor about other options for blood work....I cant see myself coming back, again.

Most of the staff are very rude. They are entitled and basically look for opportunities to treat you like dirt. A lot of times they will just not do their job, lie, or fail to communicate but they never appologize or try to fix it. All they care about is getting as many tests done as possible so they are horribly impersonal. They really couldnt be worse at customer service if they tried. The place is also unclean and unpleasant. Do not go there if you can avoid it because there is a high chance you will end up so frustrated with their lack of basic respect towards you you will wish you didnt.

Waited 2 hrs today, January 29, 2018 to be called for fasting lab work. Finally asked lady at front desk about when we would be called. She said dropins (us) are seen after appt people. Okay, I said how many appts ahead of us. She was really rude, said 4, and looked away. After another 30 minutes, I went to the desk and asked for our paperwork so we could find another lab. She held them out to me and refused to let go. I had to literally grab the papers out of her hands. If she had any customer service, she could have told us when we came in at 9:15 there would be a 2-3 hour rate, we would have left right away. She was rude, unsympathetic. We will never use the LabCorp on Tim Gamble again.

Just went in on Saturday morning At least 50 people waiting. One person checking in patients and directing them to go put their info into kiosks along the wall that werent working properly An elderly woman with a preset appointment still hadnt been seen and her appointment was an hour ago. The place is in utter chaos.

Its unfortunate that Capital Health Plan only allows blood work to be done through LabCorp! My doctors office has a Lab right downstairs. So, CHP and Labcorp are not exactly patient-friendly.

Unfortunately I cannot rate this facility as less than one star, but certainly would if I could do so. The front staff I have met on 5 previous occasions are two wonderful African American ladies, who were pleasant, and helpful, and made my visit a pleasure, ( oh by the way Im white), for you race baiters. Yesterday I had the displeasure of encountering another lady (W/F), who was rude and unpleasant, and stated to me at one point, we need a credit card on file to charge you for services your insurance does not pay I asked is this mandatory, and she replied NO and I replied then Im not giving you a card, due to numerous overcharges by insurance billings, for monies I cannot get back in a timely fashion, she then held out her hand for my paper form not looking at me, and I informed her I had gone through great pains to insure my primary, had already placed the request with them, via electronic transfer, and then she said Im sorry youre having a bad day, and I said I wasnt till I came in here, actually I was going to go home relax mow and drink beer. Anyway the place is not clean and the most important commodity( their employees ), are hurt by a caustic employee such as I encountered . It occurred to me that the clientele is not the Killearn Hoity toity, and people are treated as such, and this is just wrong. people of limited income need healthcare too, and I was now enlightened as to how they are treated.

If they cannot follow a simple call them as they arrive type program how can you trust them with your lab results? Very unprofessional!
