The father-son team who run this barber shop are two of the nicest, most-experienced barbers youll ever find. The prices are almost too low to believe. You will be happy you went.

Fred cut my hair which I was nervous about because my brother & I have been to many barbershops in Tallahassee & was disappointed every single time. For the first time in a long time I got a hair cut I am really happy with & got a great price. Thanks Fred. I will definetly be back here for my haircut from now on.

Quiet and very comfortable, yet extremely friendly. Scott and Father, Fred have a little Gold Mine here. Many, many antiques representing hair care. Several I have never seen or imagined. Prices are OUTSTANDING and so is the conversation. I can always be assured the same Stylist will be there and I never go through the hassle of explaining what I want done!

Great old time barber shop

My dad has gone to Stylish Shears for years, so naturally, I decided to take my boys there. Scott and Harold are wonderful, and it feels like a relaxed, traditional barber shop. There is a bucket of toys that my boys love to play with while waiting, and they always receive a Tootsie Roll Pop at the end. The pricing is excellent, quality is great, and service is warm and welcoming. I always take cash to pay, since they don’t take card. We love this establishment!

Scott, Howard and Mr. Joe are truly some of the finest people I know and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m a third generation customer and my son is a fourth generation customer and he’s never had his haircut anywhere else. The only complaint I have ever had is that they covered up the whitetail mural but I got used to it! Thank you guys for being a Tallahassee staple of quality and exemplifying what barbers and a barber shop should be.

This is an old fashioned style barbershop that is run by a very hard working and honest man and his father. I grew up in this shop due to my dad (who still works there) and my grandfather are both barbers. You can always count on entertaining and pleasant conversations while there, and they still give out lollipops to anyone who wants one after their cut. They e taken a beating with all this CoVids nightmare stuff, and they are doing a damn good job at following recommended CoVid protocols to ensure everyone’s health and safety are taken into consideration.

This place doesn’t have many photos (hence am posting many pics to help others). I was hesitant to visit at first. But I am glad to visit this. This pace is decent, clean & welcoming. Scott is the owner of this place and he really does take great care of his customers. He is friendly and very helping to all. Little or less wait time. Men’s haircut is $12. It’s a cash or check only store. No credit cards accepted. But it’s worth to give a try. I will go again.
