I had an appointment for a color consultation. I got to the shop on time and was greeted quickly in a friendly, professional manner. I waited 30 minutes for my stylist as she finished cutting another clients hair, no big deal - we all run behind sometimes. When she was done, and it was time to meet with me, she went to the back and informed another staff member that she wasnt feeling well and needed to cancel the appointment. I understand not feeling well and wanting/needing to go home. I appreciate her not meeting with me if she wasnt feeling well. I just feel like she couldve said something before having me wait 30 minutes. The staff member that informed me that she was canceling the appointment was very kind, professional, and apologized for inconvenience.

Chop is my go to barbershop! I never was on the schedule regularly with any other particular shop/hairdresser before going to Chop, but Chop really impressed me. The haircuts are consistently great and the price is reasonable. Added bonus, the vibes here are just super cool, e.g., the furniture, the music, etc.

I loved my experience with Kay! She knew exactly what I wanted with very little words from me. I absolutely looove the haircut she gave me. Its fun looking with lots of layers and got rid of all the dead ends which is what I wanted. I will recommend Chop Shop every time. My son had an amazing experience with Matt. My son loves to talk and Matt talked to him about whatever my son wanted to talk about. Weve been coming here for years now and will continue to come here.

Everything seemed fine After I got my haircut Daniel only showed me one side I thought it was kind of strange but that side look pretty good so I didnt think anything of it. I was from out of town thought the place looked kind of cool decided to try it out I was headed towards a party with a lot of my friends. I showed up and was informed by my wife that the line on the back of my head was crooked and when I say crooked real crooked like probably a good half to three quarters of an inch off from side to side. Im not even mad that she messed up Im mad that she tried to hide it and set me up to be embarrassed at a party with my friends. That shows me lack of integrity I will never be back.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I paid $250 to have my hair dyed a rainbow. Not only was it not done how I asked (I wanted to keep my roots for the top 5 or so, and wanted deeper colors/ NOT fluorescent), but the color has almost completely faded after 23 days. I have washed it only 7 times, in cold water. I was completely ripped off.First photo is from the day it was done, second photo is 23 days, and only 7 shampoos, later. Last photo is my receipt.Now I just have bleached blond, poorly colored hair and look a mess, and am out an extraordinary amount of money.

Im from Panama City and was in need of a barber so I checked this place out. The place was very clean and they did temp checks at the door and had you wash your hands when you entered which was nice. Matt did a phenomenal job and I was really pleased with my fade. I highly recommend him and this shop as a whole.

Really liking this place. Matt took care of my husbands hair last week and Lisa did a great job cutting my daughters hair yesterday. These professionals know their trade, taking their time to properly section, precision cut, measure. My sister was trained at Vidal Sassoon in London and we owned a salon in Europe, so we were spoiled having her around. Im always looking for a great great cutter. Im sold! I went first and last time! I booked for blow out and I had a booking from manager but diffrent worker took me,I stayed one hour! And when it finished it was horrible,I think if I do myself,it looks better! I did pony tail after left there!!! I forgot to take photo,sorry!!!

Took my little one for a much needed hair cut. The place was clean, the staff was polite, and had a nice atmosphere, however, my son did not experience a quality cut. We were squeezed in but I didn’t not expect this poor service otherwise we would have gone elsewhere. The barber was too playful to the point where he would tickled my toddler mid cut causing him to squirm. “Who tickles a kid during a hair cut?” His edges were all uneven and gave him a little cut behind the ear. Disappointed!

Great place to get a haircut. Establishment is clean and the staff are super professional. They do require mask and hand washing prior to getting a haircut. Tad pricey but getting a straight blade neck trim is a pretty neat experience. Will visit again.

This was my second time getting my hair cut after cutting off my locs. I didnt know how short I wanted my hair cut, Lisa was patient with me and got my hair how I wanted it. Lisa was great, the environment was clean and the staff was professional. I will definitely be coming here again.

I was at coffee shop next and called CHOP to see if I could get a haircut. They have a great system for appointments and are operating very safely. Masks are required for staff and patrons. Patrons wash hands before receiving service. I was very impressed by how clean and organized the shop is. Lisa runs a tight shop and provides a great haircut. We should patronize places like this that are operating in a safe and careful manner.

Driving over from Pensacola was so worth the 220+ miles.Kay met me at the door with a beautiful smile & welcome hug. We went over to her station & she preceded to ask questions about the color & style I was looking to achieve. I especially liked that she provided her expertise & made suggestions with choices.She definitely makes you feel you are an important client & your satisfaction matters. Special hints were given on hair spray application. She also asked about what conditioner I used. Then making a suggestion for one that was sold in the salon. One that would help with the over all condition of my hair.A+ experience from start to finish! Looking forward to my February appointment.

Had to get a quick cut just in time for graduation weekend and Chop came through like champs. Bonnie gave me THE best haircut of my life, hands down. Had an an appointment with Bonnie last saturday. She was so patient with me because I walked in not knowing what I wanted and I was frustrated with myself. She was calm and very kind and wanted to make me happy so she said I could come back another day and we will add something and she did an overall amazing job. I walked out tonight feeling just like I wanted to on saturday. She gave me my wow factor that I wanted. (I get bored with my hair easily). She also cut my husband hair and beard! Cutting hair comes so natural to her. I will definitely be scheduling my future appointments with her.

Chop is a cool place to get your ears lowered. Really clean hip atmosphere, you are offered a soda or beer while you wait and all the stylists do a great job. Make sure to call first for an appointment as they are always busy, they do take walk ins but it may be a long wait.

Went to chop Eastside after my daughter and her friends bleached her hair. The staff was excellent and Bonnie was fantastic. She was able to fix her hair without damage ( because of bleach) and give her the style she wanted. I can’t thank them enough.

Not as good as the Chop Midtown or Killearn in terms of friendliness or efficiency. We had two appointments for a certain time, got there 30 mins early since we were done with our previous errands and they made us wait until our appointment although other stylists were sitting around in the back chatting and had to wait for the one barber who we were both assigned to and had a client. We were then told we both wouldn’t be at 4 and would have to wait for each other to be done. Then his appointment ran over. Not impressed and we both left well after our appointment time and went to get haircuts at the original Chop(s). Will be going to the other locations in the future.
