I want to thank the Nationwide Transmission shop staff on Capital Circle in Tallahassee, Fl. On 15 Jun 2021, I was driving on I-10 when I heard a loud pop, and my 2016 F250 lost acceleration power. I limbed in the Nationwide Transmission shop, thinking it might be a transmission problem. The gentlemen working the front desk (I which I had got his name) listen as I explained; and even though he had a shop full of vehicles waiting for service, he had one of the mechanics look at my truck. It turned out that the transmission was fine, but an air hose on the engine completely broke apart. Instead of turning me away and sending me to another shop, they took the time to call the Ford Dealership and had the part delivered to their shop. They also put in on, and even though they knew I was desperate to get the repair done, they did this for a reasonable price. So, I want to thank the entire staff at the Nationwide Transmission shop. I highly recommend this business to anyone in need of some good professional quality repair work. Thanks again, gentlemen.

I have been going to nation wide every since Mike and lee started working there they have a friendly staff people talk about errors and difficulties and transmissions not performing like they should but I beg to differ because everything they have touched for me has turned into gold Nationwide deserve five stars if I was you I would take my vehicle to their shop they are the best transmission shop in Tallahassee people always are going to talk negative but I have seen it with my own eyes and Im still driving the transmissions that they rebuilt and it havent skipped a beat yet and thats been 4 years ago, total I have had five transmissions rebuilt there so far all have worked fine

They worked on my old Jeep and it wasnt a straight forward job because of difficulty finding replacement parts. They stayed the course and did a great job.

Twice, Ive had to bring vehicles to.this location, for different problems. They provided a free diagnosis, waving the normal fee, the first time. The second time, the problem was very minor, they only charged me for half an hour, and a couple bucks for the price of the part. Staff was courteous and polite. I will always bring my vehicles here for transmission problems because I know theyre trustworthy.

I took my 1997 GMC Z-71 with almost 300,000 mile on it and they rebuilt my transmission perfectly and gave me a one year 36,000 mile warranty on it. I addition they came in under the original quote they gave me. Great guys to work with. I will recommend them to everyone who asks be about transmission work.

I had the transmission in my K2500 4x4 rebuilt recently. I had heard good things about Nationwide from a friend who had a good experience but I went ahead and called a few of the other guys in town. What I liked about Nationwide was the price I was quoted on the phone was for a complete rebuild and it was only 75 bucks more than the next lowest low end price. I was told by several shops that the price could vary (as much as $400.00) depending on what all I might need once they opened it up. Even if I had been interested in just replacing the worn out items Nationwide was still a no brainer for the extra 75. I ended up getting the transmission out and delivered right at the end of the day on Friday. The guys were very friendly and promised that they would get started on it first thing Monday and that I could pick it up Monday afternoon (No extra charge). True to their word it was ready when they said it would be. More importantly it works like a champ and has been dragging around my dump trailer for the last 2 weeks and pulls like a new truck. I couldnt be happier with the way I was treated during what to me was a stressful situation (First time pulling and replacing a transmission and no work truck in the meantime). For all these reasons, I highly recommend Nationwide and wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

My wife and were traveling from Florida to Idaho we broke down on a busy holiday. This business came highly recommended from a local mechanic. Our transmission needed a full rebuild. It took them a little over one day. They were please polite and very fair in the charges. We made it to Idaho and a few weeks later the problem started happening. I called them and they immediately found a local shop where I live and got it in immediately. They stand behind their work even when problems may not be immediately obvious. If I were to live in the area I would take all my vehicles to them. They also towed our vehicle for free as to not cause more damage.

Quite possibly the most honest and professional transmission shop I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They made a recommendation of the services I could use and/or benefit from but also told me I could probably wait since the problem more than likely is not the tranny.They could have lied just to get me to pay for the services but they are very honest. I went into Nationwide this on May 2, 2016 around 9am. to speak to someone about my transmission and the guy blew me off quickly, said come back next week. Never asked my husband his name or phone number. Being busy should never reflect on how a customer is treated when you come into an establishment. Yes, Nationwide was highly recommended by a friend, but being rude to customers is bad business. All we needed was a quote on a new transmission.

I was referred to Nationwide by mechanics at Auto & Tire Super Service Center and Fire Stone for my 2001 Honda CRV. They gave me a Free Diagnostic that took less than 20 minutes, and were able to say with confidence that my transmission fluid looked good and that they didnt detect any malfunction when they test drove my vehicle. They also told me there were no error codes.While I currently do not need any transmission work done (thank goodness) I will absolutely bring my car to Nationwide if any transmission issues develop. (At present I am getting my engine mounts and CV Axel replaced)The staff were very friendly. They accommodated my schedule so that I could take my car to them during my lunch hour. As soon as I walked in the door there was someone to help me. I only had to wait in the lobby for a short time. I enjoyed watching the fish in their aquarium :) At the end of the diagnostic they answered all of my questions.

I was experiencing problems with my 1993 Accord Wagon, and I asked my regular mechanic (Fountain Auto) who they trusted for transmission work in Tallahassee. They recommended Nationwide. I arranged with Bill to drop off my car (they do have a small parking lot, so it is wise to coordinate with them).After test driving the car several times, Bill gave me some suggestions and advice on how to take care of the problem on my own. They charged me nothing.

I moved my daughter from Hobe Sound Florida to Tallahassee July 23rd 2017 I blew my transmission in my 98 Dodge Ram B 1500 these guys did what they said but went further. For the same price,they changed 4 freeze plugs in the back of my block changed the oil in the van at no charge and change the oil in my daughters Camry at no charge for one little inconvenience,The dipstick tube to read the fluid level was leaking out of the sleeve.I took it back an hour later, Lee was guy i dealt with,.He put it on the lift immediately fixed it Than the owner mike insisted I follow him down the road to the gas station and put $55 in fuel in my van for the inconvenience I suggest if you have any transmission problems in or around Tallahassee dont shop around just take it to them,itll get done.And thats no bulshit

This place is awful. They quoted me over 3 grand for a transmission replacement and when I got it back from them it broke again within a week. Pushy staff, they were rude and made me feel stupid for asking them basic questions about what the 3000 was going into. When I called back to have them fix it again, they rudly answered and treated me like i was inconveniencing them. After I cam back (and got my car towed to their shop) they tried to charge me over 500 dollars to repair the work that wasnt done correctly the first time! they are thiefs - stay away from this place!!!!

I took in a np241 transfercase that had a 27 spline input shaft and I needed a 32 spline shaft to match my th400 transmission. I got a call the next day saying it was ready for me to come pick it up. Not only did they replace my shaft but they installed all new seals and made sure all my bearings was okay. I love how fast they are!

Took my th350 transmission to them tue they called me next day said it was ready will recommend to any one very fast

You couldnt ask for a better place to have trans work done. Nationwide (and Bill) were recommended to me by a friend and coworker. I felt at ease from the very first time I went in and talked to Bill. These are no nonsense, no BS, honest folks to deal with. I had a very very hard problem to diagnose and we took our time, bounced different ideas off one another, and eventually came up with a good, solid plan of attack. They did their best to come up with a plan that best cured my problems, but also wasnt the most expensive route... I appreciated that they did their best to help me keep it within reality. The work was done ahead of schedule and was done very well. My overheating, fluid-spewing trans was then torture-tested by making a trip to michigan, hauling a 10K lb trailer up and a 14K lb trailer back. Thanks to their repairs, improvements, and add-ons, the truck never missed a beat and the temp gauge never got above 170F, even in the mountains. THANK YOU!

Dont trust them. They will preform unneeded repairs. The repairs had nothing to do with my problem. But it still cost me 1500 dollars.
