The turnaround time was quick, but was SO expensive for what I actually got. I have used the online self-service for many years and have felt much more confident with that than I did using the tax professional this year. My taxes are not super complicated so I was shocked with paying HUNDREDS of dollars for someone who did not even seem to care about anything other than completing the paperwork. The tax professional did not ask me any questions about my small business, even after I expressed my uncertainty, so I know I did not get all the deductions that I should have gotten. I will definitely NOT be using the H&R Block tax professionals again.

My PC was stolen along with tax documents. I was able to retrieve copies before my identity was stolen. Lesson learned. Always keep hard copies knowing that you pay taxes and others steal. I received a hand shake as I went back home after my appointment. No Virus. Masked by code. I will return in March. Next appointment.

I called to get help with a question and was told to call the office I went to. I cant because they are closed up.Apparently,I dont have any recourse because other stores dont have the information. The computers only house the information where you went.

Poor customer service in your Dearborn Hts, MI office. My joint tax forms are completed in Tacoma, WA, signed by my wife and forwarded to me for my signature for the past three years. However for some reason I am having problems doing this. I requested to speak with the manager on duty. I was told that there wa not a manager on duty. I left my contact info but have not been contacted by anyone.

Made an online appointment with a Tax Pro, Took in papers i would need . I was a couple min late however the person wasnt ready anyway. I was a bit disappointed cuz reception girl really had zero clue as to what she is talking about not 2 mention the girl told me I was dropping off My taxes . Due to covid no customers blah blah.. My taxes should be fairly simplistic considering I have 1 w2 and 1 1099 2 days later they still arent complete. I did inform the them that I was on a time crunch.

Ive used H&R Block for 10 + years never had any problems until April 2020 they made a mistake on my taxes (they didnt send all the paperwork in) and it took until September 2020 to get my refund. When I called them they were absolutely NO HELP I kept getting the runaround. I WILL NEVER USE THEM ANAIN!!!!

Scheduled for a office appointment at 2pm no one acknowledged me for 2 hours. then they tell me I can only drop of paper work and I can’t have an office visit as I had scheduled. Which my significant other had just sat down and proceeded a “tax expert” at 2 different locations. On top of waiting in the the lobby for 2 hours they were if they could complete the packet today. As well i do no not like how an online refund option is not offered and you have to physically go into an office, turbo tax does offer this so I will more than likely continue all my tax returns via them because of this experience and the loan options.

The lady at this HR Block should be fired I walk in with my pay stub and I said I like to apply for the Emerald Advance she looks at my pay stub and says no you will not get approved she says plus you cant even file for taxes this year you didnt make enough money you need to make a minimum of 10,000 I tried to explain to her that cannot be true I have made money this year they have took out taxes I should be able to file for taxes and get money back this year she said no theres no way youll get money back this year I just felt that was wrong so I drove to the other store walked in and told her what happened at the other H&R Block and she said that they should of never said that to you that you are not approved for an Emerald Advance or cant file for taxes . well it turns out I got a really nice Emerald Advance and plus Ill get a nice tax return at the end of the year.It just makes me start thinking of how many people she has done that to making up stories that you have to make $10,000 minimum to even file for taxes she shouldnt even work there if she doesnt even want to do her job acting like it was going to be a waste of her time to apply for an Emerald Advance for me its amazing where she thinks she has the power to decide yes or no

I called the Pac. Ave office, as it was listed closest to me and was routed to this S.Tacoma way office. I verified with Sharon, who answered the phone, if this was the correct office and she indicated my office was closed. I asked if this was temporary or just for the day and she replied until January, sounding annoyed that I even asked. I then proceeded to ask general questions about their at home software and what they could do for me since I did not file in one of their offices this year. Sharon rudely told me that since this is your mistake, you will be charged $99 for us to look at your paperwork. All I was asking was an explanation of what their 100% satisfaction guarantee was and if I would be covered with the H&R software I purchased and she proceeded to repeat herself telling me it was my mistake, without even knowing what my tax issues were, and said they have nothing to do with my issue since I did my taxes myself, using THEIR SOFTWARE! Sharon at the S.Tacoma Way office, has represented H&R block as a rude, poor customer service, company and I will not be using their services, online, at home or in their offices, ever again. I also tried calling the customer service number that was listed on some of the other negative reviews, but just got the run around on their automated line and couldnt talk to anyone.

Visited the place today and was help from the front desk lady, I had an inquiry on a tax dispute and wanted to know if they could help me out since it’s the first time I got a notice. I filed my 2016 tax return with HnR block this year and they said to come by if I have any question or problem about my tax return. My question was for the previous year which I did not file with them so I thought since I’m a new member and will continue to file with them at least they could help me out. But she was rude and her customer service was horrible. I will not be filling my tax return next year with them especially this specific location. Absolutely not, I don’t write reviews but this is just ridiculous and unprofessional. Probably since it’s not tax season they don’t need you until next year.

Treat people like the dont know what there r talkng about went there for refund file and i was told they cant complete my tax refund untill there filing software get unupdate.they said they were going to call me the next day which they never waited for a week and went back and the lady said we still waiting for the update and then she called her co-woker and ask him about it and he said he had no problem on his computer becouse he was using a diffrent sofeware to file tax .Then i asked the lady why dont we use that software he was using to file my tax, and she was like once we start with a new software we cant change to the other one snd i was like why .and she is like becouse it in the software .it just stupid coz she has not submited the taxes to irs.she was just to lazy to start all over again .SHAME ON YOU BLOCK
