Our experience with Black Pine Spas was incredible. Santi was our sales associate and he was so helpful and friendly and it was really nice being able to contact the same person throughout the process for updates along the way. The guys that installed it were really nice and did a fine job. We havent hooked up our spa yet because we have to replace the electrical panel, but it looks exactly as expected! Thank you so much!

Award winning service, thats whats on your website. I wanted to schedule a cleaning of my hot tub, that is sold by your company. I was called back 24 hours after the online scheduling. Only to be told that you dont offer that service. You didnt offer any recommendations, for other companies that could do this basic service. How did this award winning service?

Edit - they did immediately call me to figure out the basis for my review. Pleasantly surprised.First off, let me start by saying I love the spa we purchased. The positivity pretty much ends there, though. I have received mediocre customer service, minus the actual buying portion. Once they got our money, its like they stopped caring. Unanswered emails, not taking my concerns seriously, and failing to acknowledge my frustration with the poor communication is just sad. They sell high end spas, but I would shop elsewhere if at all possible.

After looking at every hot tub store from Lakewood - SeaTac, we chose to purchase with Black Pine. We’ve had the tub for over 3 months and whenever I come into the store to buy chemicals, our salesman, Tony, always remembers my name and says hello. That’s amazing service in my book! And for all those hesitating because the wait time may be a little long to get the tub delivered, just do it. You won’t regret it!!! And you can spend the wait time coming up with cute decorating ideas for around the tub. Good things are worth waiting for 🙂

Poor communication and horrible customer service. Put a deposit down in October for a spa that was supposed to be out of production in January. I had to call and ask them in late February for any updates. Found out it was 8 weeks delayed. Flash forward to the beginning of April and I receive a phone call from a 3rd party company saying they wanted to deliver the spa in the next week. Spa get delivered and no word from black pine till it was time for payment which still hadn’t been arranged but the 3rd party delivery team wouldn’t leave until they had a check for the full total for the spa I was hoping to finance but luckily was able to cover. Black pine “well if you would have told us yesterday you wanted to finance it wouldn’t have been a problem”Well, if there was better communication from your end from the time of deposit to the time of delivery it wouldn’t have been a problem.For a $25k spa you would think there would be more communication on the dealers end.

Our hot tub stopped working. Called 2 other repair services, one could not come out till Oct, the other Sept. Talked over the phone and solved the problem in less then 10 minutes at no charge. Will be out go to place from now on. Thank you.

Tony was great! Ready when we arrived and didnt mind that I had 2kids in tow.He explained everything about the two hot tubs I was interested in and the set up and delivery process clearly. We got just what we needed and the other items we want. It all went very smoothly! I would highly recommend Tony and Black Pine Hot Tubs! This was our 3rd hot tub purchase in 40 years of enjoying them. And the most easy, no nonsense transaction ever.

While the purchase of our spa went fine, they fail when it comes to warranty service. Turns out, they charge $80 for a warranty service call, claiming this is industry practice. My last dealer never charged for a warranty call. Lousy support.It is now September 2021. Finally had service call. Needs a new part. When I asked Rachel when it would arrive, she hadn’t even ordered it; didn’t even know what was needed. Service tech hadn’t told her what was needed.Their customer service continues to be absolutely terrible.

***UPDATE***Was 5 stars now 2 stars. ;(I have called 5 times in 2 weeks with no calls back. The last call I even told them I’m going to call the manager and leave my negative experience in a review if I don’t get a call back and still no call back.Maybe the original company sold out to a new owner I don’t know. Service sucks here.I have a simple service issue. I have left detailed messages that my control panel says my heater is dry. I’m sure it’s a simple fix if they would just return my voice messages.I have also spoke with staff twice and said they would contact the right person and call me but that never happened either.I saw them at the fair again, I think they want the big commission sales and are not focusing on after sale service.—————****Was 5 stars***Saw these guys at the Puyallup fair 2013.Shopped all of the competing spa companies. Shark infested waters!!Everyone has a song and dance.The sales person was real - very knowledgable - and very competitive. Proices were all out in the open - nothing was hidden!! Total transparency.I did not have a budget, per se but wanted the best quality for the money spent. I felt this was the best money could buy without breaking the bank. 2 months later...these guys delivered. The delivery was a challenge. But Michael made it right. They had not one but 2 crews come out to save me from hiring a crane service (Lake Tapps area), they had a flat bed with mobile fork lift and a big crew on site. Smooth delivery and installation. The installers helped me open up a chain link fence to grant more access and re-installed the fence. (Over and beyond the call of duty). I gave them coffee and $100 bucks for lunch - they loved it!!The install crew was careful and thoughtful. Called me on certain items to get my preference. Its full of water now and getting hot. Will take a dip with the family tomorrow. Very happy. Thrilled! These guys are pros and communication is a 10!!! (Important to me)New Brunswick Billiards table next week - I cant wait.I would buy again from these guys without question. Thanks Michael!!

I bought my hot tub at the fair on a whim. I do not regret it one bit. I have had two questions / issues. Both have happened during COVID. Even though their team wasnt necessarily in the office they responded right away. One time they called me at home to walk me through my issue. The second time they emailed me a PDF manual instead of charging me to send a maintenance team. Fantastic customer service. Id highly recommend.

Had a great initial experience with picking out the swim spa, and purchasing. However, all of the initial costs (i.e., craning over the house, have a pad made, getting the electrical run) were more than twice what I was told to expect, so make sure you do your homework! That said, I went out to swim one day to find the cage for one of the main jets laying in the pool. I took multiple pictures of the broken part and texted them into the service dept, who confirmed the part was under warranty. They were booked out for nearly a month for appointments, during which time I drained the swim spa for the repair to be done. The technician was supposed to call me prior to showing up, however, because my phone number was not put onto his work order, he was unable to do so. He then told me he was here to look at a jet that was not working. I informed him, that the jet was working properly, it was only the cage on the front of the jet that needed replacement. The technician let me know he would have to order a part, that it could take a month to arrive, and then it could be another month before he was able to return. What I didnt understand, was why was a part not ordered during the weeks I was waiting for the appointment? The service dept. had all of the necessary pictures of what was needed. The technician informed me that no pictures had been uploaded to the repair order, otherwise, it could have been ready for him to install when he showed up. Now I have to wait another month, and go pick up the part myself to install, unless I want to wait additional time for him to be able to return. It seems to me that minimizing return appointments to customers homes would increase both customer satisfaction, and profitability for the company.*** Shortly after posting this, Sandra from the Service Dept. reached out to me. We had a positive discussion that convinced me they are serious about providing exceptional customer service, and, she is having the part sent to me directly. Thank you for your response.

Bought a hot tub there, its still under warranty...all air valve knobs rusted out staining the tub. The store replaced for free, covered under warranty. Also, all tub pillows blistered under normal use in less than a year... exposure to hot tub water. Youd think that by design pillows would be made of stuff that doesnt blister when exposed to water. Forgot to test. Store wasnt interested in helping me with this problem and wanted to sell me more pillows made of the same stuff for well over $100. I didnt take the bait. My concern is what else is going to happen.

Great company and great service! We move into a new home that had an existing hot tub and knew nothing about them so we called around to different hot tub companies to try to get someone to check the spa out, clean it, and show us how to operate it. A lot of the companies didn’t even call us back. Black Pine was immediately able to get us scheduled since they service all brands. The tech came out and took his time with us to educate us on how to manage our hot tub chemicals and how to operate the spa. They also did a detailed cleaning on it. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

I can’t say enough good about Black Pine. After hours on a Friday evening Josh was able to talk me through a fix that allowed me to use the spa over the weekend. He’s been conscientious and professional every time I’ve needed him and always goes way beyond the call of duty.And the whole crew got involved from the start, jumping into action when another company failed to deliver the spa I ordered. Michael at Black Pine came to the rescue, got me a spa on short notice, Jesus and his team were so careful and expert at installing it, and they’ve all been helpful at teaching me how to take care of it. Michael Nekahi, is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk and work with. On the day of delivery, we had a few amazing guys Jesus and his delivery staff come out. These guys were easy to work with and were able to get our hot tub up on a second story deck without any complications. They made the whole delivery process a breeze! I wanted to comment on the Hot Tub cleaning special that we used to have our hot tub serviced. Today Marcus came and completed the cleaning special. He was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and gave us great service. I would highly recommend his services. We received minimal service operation information when we purchased our hot tub. Marcus educated us on the operation and care of our hot tub, much more than the slim pamphlets or sales information. We received many important tips on daily maintenance of our hot tub. Worst customer service imaginable. After purchasing a spa from this company during the NW Spa sale the salesman promised they could have it delivered in two weeks, maybe a little longer.Over the next two weeks, starting the day we bought the spa, we tried, unsuccessfully, to schedule a delivery almost a dozen times. Apparently if their ‘scheduler’ is busy or ‘out sick’ all business grinds to a halt. Except for sales of course, they’re still more than happy to take your money.Fast forward another two weeks and the spa is finally delivered. All good right? Incorrect. Second pump is not working properly and half the jets don’t turn on. Calling them again results in the same endless phone tree or incompetent employees. Stay tuned to see if they rectify this situation.

STAY AWAY!!!Bought a hot tub from them less than a year ago and we have had nothing but problems with it. We had had it less than 3 months when the problems started. We started seeing issues with the water and could not figure out what to do to make it work. When I called to ask for help they said it may be the chemicals that I am using. Hummm. I am still using the ones that they sent with the tub. The problem persisted. They had me send photos, but they had no solution except to drain the tub and replace the filters. We did that. In fact we have gone through 8 filters in less than a year and drained and cleaned it 4 times in a year. Still things are not getting better. When I asked for support they would not cover anything under warrenty, but said they would send someone out to look at it, but they could not get out here for over a month and they were going to charge me hundereds of dollars to come out. I ended up hiring a local spa service and after they had been out a few times they said that they believe the pipes are deteriorating and I need a new tub. When I called Black Pine, they refused to listen to the other repair company and they could come out and look but it may take 4-5 times to come out to determine and fix the issue. ( all for a large $200+ service fee each trip)As if of this was not bad enough, the screen in the tub broke not once but twice. They did send me a replacement luckily, but I had to take the tub apart and replace it myself.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! FIND SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY UNDERSTANDS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Black Pine Spas is an awesome place to purchase your spa from! Before we purchased our new spa my wife and I did not know anything about spas, we had no idea of what to look for and when we went to other dealers nobody took the time to explain the differences to us. Mike and Khasha took a great amount of time with us to explain some of the pros and cons of their products verses their competitions products. It was like going to school and both of us were very surprised to find out how many differences there were and how much we needed to learn to make an informed decision. They gave us plenty of time to make our choice and go out and investigate other products and we felt as though their products were superior, plus there was no pressure what so ever . I would recommend paying a visit to Black Pine Spas before making your purchase, they are truly great!

Went to puyallup fair and saw their set up. I have been thinking about getting a hot tub for awhile. I decided to go with black pine instead of Costco because black pine hauled away my old hot tub and installed my new one. Costco just drops off your new hot tub in your driveway. They are very fairly priced and the hot tub is outstanding.My yard is not an easy place to get a hot tub in and out of, but they were able to get it set up no problems. They were very nice and a pleasant company to deal with.I would recommend buying from black pine.

The deliverymen (Jesus and Marvin) not only showed up on time on Camano Island, but brought the pieces into the house and helped my husband assemble the sauna in about an hour. This was way above and beyond the call of duty and I give Black Pine the highest rating for such great service. In addition, the sauna works great, keeping my husband warm while he waits for the propane to arrive! Thank you Black Pine!

I did not want to post this to an open review site but found no other means of getting my problem addressed other than having a fruitless telephone conversation. I bought my tub about 9 months ago and was very satisfied. That is until there was a problem. My digital display was showing diagnostic messages that had no matching message in my owners manual. I called Black Pine and spoke with a very nice lady who attempted to help me with my problem for about 1/2 hour. After failing to correct the problem I decided it would be best if a knowledgeable person attempted the repair. I was then told that despite my unsuccessful efforts if it was discovered that I was just not pushing the right buttons in the right order I would be charged for the techs time. That is obscene. I did my best with help from your personnel and I still get charged.

We have not even got our Hot Tub yet and have not had the best experience. We sat down with a sales person and after all the discussions we decided to go with Black Pine Spa then Olympic due to pricing and availability.I now read the reviews and being told the delivery is longer than planned and if hits the holiday it will be longer. If I knew all the timelines direct from the source then we would have went to another company.I really hope the tub comes in and is a great product with no issues. My family has worked with Olympic Hot Tub in Everett but took a chance an another company, the sales man was kind and really wanted to work with my husband and I.

I do not normally complain about much, but I have to express my major disappointment with the service I received over a pretty simple lighting issue. I am a very patient person that completely understands that there can be some issues finding a solution to a problem, but when promises are made and then broken with no correspondence or apology, it unnerves me to feel very disrespected and un-valued as a customer that just spent roughly 20K on a hot tub and gazebo by the time all the install and electrical were finished.About 6 months ago my lights went out on my brand new spa, so I called for help. The service guys that came out were great, only problem is the wrong part was ordered several times. Then when the part was re-ordered, I was told it was sent to another customer so I had to wait again for a part. Over the course of the next 3-4 months, I had 4 service appointments to the house with no luck of a fix. For all kinds of reasons, and excuses. I was told several times that the parts were there when the service call was scheduled, only to be sitting at my house waiting for the service guy to show up and then they never did. Why you ask…… Black pine scheduled the service appointment 3 times before the parts were actually there. I was never called to be notified of moving the appointment. I had to call and ask the obvious.Upon the final service appointment, Alex had promised an apologetic care package of items as an apology for the hassle I had been through for the past 6 months. But…. when the service person showed up he had nothing, and was not aware of any such thing. He called Alex and quickly called me back saying she “forgot” and was sending it out that day…….to this day….. 3 weeks later, nothing.I will update this post if I receive anything or hear anything. #feelingdisrespected

We bought a brand new One have got it for 3 weeks and it has brick down 3 times already, it’s like fixing it after fixing it again and again... really? Are you Kidd me. We are now done want this thing at ours backyard anymore.. called the black pin spa asked to talk to the guy Toni whom sold it to us and we were told that they will call us back..are you serious!!there is no one call us back. We then drove to the black pine spa on the Saturday, asked to talk to the manager, there was no manager there to talk to us. Make appointment to see them on Monday at 4pm again they canceled before 4pm and just send a guy to fix it again..I’m very disappointed with this black pin spa here. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!We are now will have to look in to the lawsuit!!

So today I walked into Black Pine Hot Tubs on 205th street and I went to buy test strips for my Hot Tub that I spent $10,000 last year from this place. My wife asked me to return some brom tabs while I m there that they sold us recently because we don t need them. The person working would not take them back without a receipt which we no longer have. I told him we just purchased this hot tub from your store, buy all of our chemicals and have it serviced with your company so you should for good customer service just return this bottle that clearly had never been open and refund my $20. I was about to accept his answer and buy the test strips but because of the lack of service I received from this young man at the counter I decided that I would never spend my money here today or in the future. This $20 dollar bottle of Brom Tabs that has never been open is going to cost them a customer. Seems like they could have refunded my money and put the bottle of Brom tabs back on the shelf for sale.

Wow, what a company. When we purchased this spa the salesman didnt sell this spa to us. He explained the technology and inner workings of spas and the reasons why some things are better than others per your situation, needs and wants. We had done much research on spas and found the salesman to be spot on with his information and he even taught us a few things about water, chemicals and the jets used on different spas.Just a week before our lovely new spa was to arrive I was told I had cancer and would need surgery. I was crushed. I had waiting 15 years for this spa and was looking forward to using it. It was delivered on Tuesday and the hot tub had to be craned into our back yard (done effortlessly I might add). We hooked it up the next day. However, once it was connected we couldnt get it working. When I called Black Pine Spas they walked me through many things to try but it still wouldnt work. I was told it would be the beginning of the next week before they could get someone out to fix it. Since my surgery was scheduled for the next Tuesday, in my mind all was lost. I wouldnt be using my new spa for three months. The gal that was scheduling the appointment heard the distress in my voice and asked if there was a problem. I explained the situation and told her I had waiting 15 yrs to get this spa and had wanted one weekend in it before I was banned from it for months. Low and behold a very kind Tech, Rafugio drove from Edmonds down to Tacoma to get my spa running for the weekend, and it was Halloween night! I have never had service quite like this before. I will be telling anyone who will listen how wonderful this company is. Thank you Black Pine Spas for such wonderful service!

We were so impressed with Mike Nekahi and the knowledge of our sales guy that we ended up purchasing a Grand Bahama before we left. The ladies in the store/office are super helpful as well.We appreciate the fact that we never felt any pressure from the sales staff or management. The spa was delivered on the date and time as promised. Delivery guys were top notch. “Zeus” was the delivery guy, forklift operator, spa educator, just an overall awesome individual! He is the guy who put the “O” in Smoooooth! Very impressive to watch him maneuver an 800+ lb. hot tub around the corner, through some trees, and onto the deck without any problem. He placed it exactly where we wanted the spa with ease and professionalism (first class). You could see the focus he had in order to prevent damage to the property or to the spa. His helper Marvin was helpful as well in ensuring that he had everything he needed in order to complete the job in a safe manner, plus cleaned up the tub in areas that were a little dusty. Great team! Great family feeling with everyone involved!We waited three months to provide an overall review of the entire experience because we wanted to provide an honest opinion about the spa as well. WE LOVE IT! Our friends and family said that we would use it at first, but then after awhile the “newness” will wear off. Well, I am happy to report that we use it almost every evening after work and we do not plan on slowing down “spa time”. It is our place to catch up after a hard day or a workout. We actually use it and enjoy it more than we imagine. We would definitely buy from them again.The Black Pine service department is really good, we had a couple of minor issues with the lights and the Wi-Fi not connected. They were very pleasant on the phone and quick to come out and help us.We bought our Artesian Dove Canyon from Black Pine Spas last September (2014) at the Puyallup Fair, and we have never regretted that decision. We had a Jacuzzi spa in the past and it took a while for us to start looking at other manufactures. Well I am so glad we did. The Artesian is far superior to the Jacuzzi in our opinion.One word to describe Michael Nekahi is Excellence. His knowledge, listens to our concerns, and he gave us multiple options on what spa’s fit our needs. Michael is absolutely great to work with. He clearly loves what he does and one of the best in the industry.We absolutely LOVE our Dove Canyon spa. When we first enter our hot tub, I settle into my favorite corner seat and my hubby takes to his favorite lounger and we both are in heaven. If we get hot, we can sit in a cool down seat with jets on our lower back and feet (love it!) The pumps are so quiet we can actually have a conversation and hear each other easily.One of the best features of the Dove Canyon is I can control my jets in my chair versus a diverted switch like our old Jacuzzi. With the DEDICATED PUMP and controls for each chair - no more sharing pressure and speed. We can choose to have only the chairs we are in active so it saves on energy costs and noise.The temperature is always exactly where we want it. The spa is also insulated really well and holds the temperature even when we turn it down after using it.There are so many different therapy jets help my back as well as my legs and feet. You can move to various seats that focus on wrists, legs, and shoulders, upper & lower back, upper & lower legs. I purchased my first Coast Elite Series spa from Black Pine Spas (BPS) in 1998 at the Monroe Fair for my main residence, and I just purchased my second Coast Spa, a Cascade III, from PBS for my retirement home.Michael in sales was exceptionally patient with me, as my first Coast Spa has spoiled me completely with 65-jets and a pair of dual-speed 6.5HP pumps--and diverter valves--so my spa performance expectations were already quite high. I had wet trials of a few different spa makers, and my wife and I came back to the Coast Spa as our choice and Black Pine earned the sale.My Cascade III is a great relaxing spa, my wife who would rarely use our 1st spa, loves the Cascades III because with the endless edge the tub wall height is at water level and she is very petite so she feels much less claustrophobic using the Cascade III as the view is fantastic. Also the corner seats in the Cascade III are not as deep as typical spas so this also helps my 5-foot wife sit higher in the waterline, although I’m 5’-11” and would prefer the deep seat be another couple inches lower as the above water neck jets do not allow the correct head position to take full advantage of what I call the “Stevie Wonder” rotation using the above water jets which my other Coast Spa allows with a deeper seat. Oh, I also miss the diverter valves in the Cascade III but I can understand as the maintenance on these valves gets tiring as every 5-years or so their seals start leaking and need replacement, often the cap too. On the Cascades to increase the jet pressure you will need to manually close each jet that is not being used, a bit of a pain, and DO NOT close all of the circulation pump jets (pump #1 of 3) or the controller will shut down with “Low Flow” messages. But overall the Cascade II is a fantastic tub, and much much more relaxing overall than my other spa (which I still use almost daily).Like my first spa from BPS, the Cascades III installation went seamlessly and their delivery team worked with me to put everything in just the right place with their forklift, even though it the location is 60-minutes from everywhere, and it was a late November windy day, and raining cats and dogs they trooped though with zero complaints.Shelly in Black Pine Service Department has always found the replacement parts no matter how small to keep my original Coast Spa in prime shape for the last 15-years. Shelly delivered as always with some follow up after my last spa purchase in providing me with the technical details to re-option my Cascade III controller to fit my needs. My Cascades III is in a very remote location and it’s nice to have a BPS service team that understands some of us can do quite a bit of self-maintenance and still support us with their technical phone/email help when they can. BTW, I had also found the controller optioning details on the Internet as the OEM supplier typically publishes their manuals, but you must decipher their Coast Spa product code to determine the correct model, so Shelly at BPS on her time confirmed what I had found.As a repeat Black Pine spa customer myself, I would certainly recommend Michael, Shelly and Black Pine Spas to anyone I know or who would like my advise. Black Pine Spas sales and services team is the best!
