DO NOT TAKE YOU VEHICLE HERETook my truck here to get a diagnosis done. They drove it couldnt find the problem. Said they would need to take it out to find the issue. I said ok to taking out the transmission over the phone. After a week of calling them and trying to get a update they finally told me they were waiting on parts. I never said they could rebuild my transmission and they never gave me a quote for taking the transmission out and rebuilding it. In there office they have customer rights posted (picture attached). They say if any work is to be done on vehicle and you cant be there you will receive a written quote. I never recieved one. Even when I had a friend drop the truck off for me because of work hours.I decided to have it rebuilt anyway. I didnt get my tuck back for almost two months after I dropped it off. They kept getting the wrong parts. When I finally got my truck back its still wasnt running right. They said that they all drove it and it was good to go but it wasnt. The throw out bearing was making noise it popped out of 3rd three times and a piece from my bumper was missing and never found. I took the truck back the next day and didnt get back for four days. Also they wont do anything about the missing bumper piece. Even though I have pictures with it but they dont have cameras that face that way. All in all I would highly recommend to stay away from this shop stay far far away.

Can’t say enough good things about this shop! Walked into a clean establishment, greeted by a very nice shop manager named Brian I believe. I told him I had lost reverse and 2/3 in my Chevrolet Tahoe and would need it looked at. Before lunch time I had received a phone call about my vehicle and what would be needed to fix it. It was a quick 3 day process from when I left it to when I received it back with my rebuilt transmission and a amazing warranty! I am so glad to have my Tahoe back running great!

Took my 2007 Ford F-350 pushing 700hp in for a transmission build at Transmission Sales & Service and couldn’t have had a better experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and discussed my build and figured out the right converter and parts I’d need for my truck to hold together. I have 45k miles so far on my transmission and it hasn’t let me down one time. I highly recommend these guys for any transmission need! 5 stars!!!

I had a new transmission installed and during the install they pinched a wire above the transmission. I now had to return less than a year due to the throw out bearing they replaced went out and now they did not reconnect the wires to the heat switch. They do not have a good rep with me beware.

There employee tried to run me off the road. Wheb I cam onto the property to tell then they told me it doesnt matter they dont care. They closed the gates and called the cops saying I refused to leave whej I was at the gate trying to leave. This place has no cares for the community or its customers. The owners are never there and there child son walks around calling the cops. He even stated to the cops that i assulted there customer. I never got close to one nor did I ever step foot out of my tuck they also refused to contact or alert the owners that i expect to talk to them about how I was treated

These guys know their stuff. Had a issue with a transmission leak and they explained what the issue was and had it fixed in no time. Great job and keep up the good work. I dont look forward to transmission work in the future, but at least I know who I will have do the job. Thanks again.

Had the transmission in my 99 dodge rebuilt by these guys a while back. They beefed it up for towing my 32 foot trailer. Has been preforming well ever since. Brian and Allen are the best at there craft and really great people. Highly recommend these guys!

Great experience with my 280z 5 speed transmission installation. They were very patient with me and finished it at a reasonable price

So I brought my car in first thing in the morning to get my transmission looked at. Before I left their office they call me in to tell me my vehicle transmission is beyond repair. It would have been easy for them to do a flush and replace my transmission fluids and send me on my way, but they were honest enough to tell me it would do no good and because of my vehicle type I would need a new transmission. Did not charge me for any the work they did to find my problem. If your looking for an honest car transmission shop I believe you will not find better service than Transmission Sales and Service. Highly Recommend.

My truck was having more problems then I could count. My buddy told me about this shop so I took my truck in and the staff where super helpful and knowledgeable. Great prices for the quality work I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone having trouble with any vehicle. Needless to say my truck is good as new.

These guys are the best. They are very honest, I just had my transmission rebuilt and its running great now. Very nice people. Prices were good too. If you are looking for good transmission work for fair price I would recommend them 100%.

I was referred to Transmission sales and service to rebuild my 2004 Honda Accords transmission. After they completed the work, I had to wash it twice to get the film off of the exterior. It never seemed to shift properly. I was told that it had to learn and it would get better with time. They offer a 24,000 warranty. After a month, it started acting up. I took it back in, and they had to rebuild it a second time. Once again it came back dirty, but did shift a little more smoothly. About another month and a half later, once again it starting acting up. At this point, I had burned through 6,000 of my 24K warranty. I wish that I would have taken my car to the dealership and paid a little extra. I have since traded it in. I would not recommend Transmission sales and service to ANYONE.

I listen to them on the maintanace of the transmission and stick to it I do a lot of towing with my truck wont let anybody work on my transmission other then transmission sales and service great job guys, and the two service writers at the front counter could not be any more nicer or helpful Pluse I have send friends to them with nothing but great to work with ...Thanks again

Customer service is too nice, a lot of bs talking. They arent straight to the point and like to beat around the bush. Paid 4500$ worth of service and my car is still not completely fixed. Their estimate on time is the worst. They said my car would be done in 1-2 weeks and they ended up keeping my car for a month. I would thot recommend this place to anyone. Their oil change took about 3 hours. They suck.

I have taken both my 93 Cummins Diesel and my 1965 Dodge Polara to their shop. After trying to get my transmissions fixed on my own, both times, they assisted and got both my rigs up and running right. The Polara is a new rebuild and runs great. The Diesel has been out of the shop for two years now and still is as strong as ever. These guys know their stuff. They also went above and beyond for customer service, I had a few minor engine issues with my Polara, and without even asking they took a stab at the issues and fixed them quickly and easily. I plan on taking any of my future rigs to Transmission Sales & Service for now on

I contacted TSS and spoke with Brian regarding the uninstall/install of a rebuild motor for a 13 Focus ST from SpeedPerformance. He acknowledged and accepted the task. From the initial meeting and Brian discussing my specific vehicle, I knew that TSS was well up to the task. Jaxxxn was the specific Technician whom took everything apart and put it back together. He was very meticulous in his work and took every precaution with replacing washers etc...that needed to be replaced. The rebuilt motor was cautiously primed and everything checked out, and the initial start-up was an Absolute SUCCESS! That wasnt the only great part, the pricing was an added bonus as well. Thanks Brian, Allan, Jaxxxn and all the other guys at TSS for performing a successful rebuild install on my car!

Great local Tacoma area transmission company. We have worked with Al for 6 years now and they are a class act!

Hated it isnt strong enough language for my experience(s) with Transmission Sales & Service.I hired TSS to change the differential, replace my AWD collar gear, and install new transaxle bearings and seals in my Volvo. They told me no big deal, 2-4 days, $1200. I said great and dropped the car off on a Monday morning. Wednesday rolls around and no word from TSS, so I call. I was told that the seal kit was wrong and they were waiting on a parts order. My car was in pieces and they had stopped work. The parts still hadnt arrived by Monday, but it wouldnt have mattered. TSS found a small crack in the lower housing of my transfer case that had been filled with sealant. I told them I wasnt worried about it and that I just wanted it resealed.Parts came in Tuesday (day 8 of 2-4 days), but by Wednesday (day 9) the car still wasnt ready. THEY HAD STOPPED ALL WORK.They wanted me to sign a document stating that there would be no warranty whatsoever for any repairs they made. I didnt have a choice- the car was in pieces and I had to sign it or get stuck with with a disassembled car and a bill for 8 hours of labor. I signed it Wednesday at closing.They stopped work AGAIN halfway through Thursday (day 10) because my epoxied shift cable wasnt strong enough, and that the tech refused to put it back on the car. Changing to a new cable is an additional 4 hours of labor plus whatever crazy markup they felt like putting on the part. I went and got the part myself ($126, not $500 BTW) and had their courtesy van deliver it back to the shop.They had the brand new OEM Volvo part by Friday (day 11) at noon, but didnt work on the car until the following Monday (day 14 without a car!).When I finally got the car back later that week, I thought that was the end of my dealings with TSS. Boy was I wrong.Less than three weeks after getting the car back (Tuesday, August 12), the shift cable breaks at a busy intersection, leaving me stranded for more than three hours. When I finally got a tow truck, I took the car to my non-transmission shop (ArtWorks- theyre amazing) and they told me that my cable had been broken and sloppily glued back together. There were even globs of glue on the intermediate lever and transmission housing.This is where it starts to get fun.I called TSS and told them what happened and the service manager apologized and said hed take care of it, but that I had to bring the car BACK. I got it back to them on Thursday the 14th. It was a big mistake. Even though I gave them the actual part number, they ordered the wrong shift cable, which cost me another weekend without a car. The correct part showed up on Tuesday, August 26th, and they installed the part Wednesday, the 27th. Thats today.I picked the car up at closing time and didnt even make it halfway home before the new shift cable broke. No one answered the phone five minutes after I left when I was stranded right up the street.TSS is a lying, cheating, stealing auto repair company and you should avoid it like the plague. They are scammers. Dont believe the five star ratings.
