I had my car diagnosed last week this place had me waiting almost a week for parts and now they had my car for three days 2400 the money is not the problem they are very unprofessional. Now that I’m calling to check up on my car they’re telling me it’s a different problem than the Diagnose they gave me. First quoting me for power steering hose leak and another leak had my car sense Wednesday now it’s Friday and the man at the counter comes off rude and says it’s a lot of work to be done … I fully regret coming here for service

Excellent service. Very friendly and professional. They were necessarily the cheapest for the service I received, but I had used them before to get my car serviced and I was really happy with their customer service and professionalism that I felt comfortable bringing my car back to have one of my ignition coils replaced. You get what you pay for and I feel like it was worth what I paid.

Pleasant experience, helpful employees. They were busy, but still able to get me in ahead of my appointment time, and out quickly .Overall very pleased that I chose to give them a try after being overcharged at other places, on top of poor service. It was also nice that they didn’t try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn’t need.It was nice, all I wanted was a quick oil change, and they delivered.I would recommend them.

The people at this Meineke are top notch individuals. They effectively used communication and guidance to help me through the process of financing a repair I couldnt afford to pay outright. I use this place for most of my auto repair needs. Theyre very busy but give them a try if youre feeling like you cant trust any mechanics.

It was rough for me to take my car in for one thing and end up paying almost $1000 more than originally estimated. However, I do understand that they couldn’t have known exactly what it was until they were able to get into the car itself. The work was good but I believe I now have a dead or dying battery since my car practically stalled at a stoplight on the way home. I just wish it wasn’t as expensive as it was.

I had an appointment scheduled for 3:00 . I called at 11am to double check I had been scheduled for 3 which I was told yes. I get there early about 245 and was told they are behind so they get to my vehicle in 30 minutes wich would only be about 3:15 so I was fine with that. Then I realized it was 3:40 so I asked what was Goin on and was giving the run around for the next hour. I ended up leaving about 4:30 with no oil change after I had left work early to do so. Never again will I go to these guys

My ‘02 Camry broke down and I had it towed to this location and informed them it was shaking/running rough and the heat/cooling were not working right before it died. Sam said they would run diagnostics. After several days Sam informed me the radiator was cracked and needed replaced. I also spoke with Morgan who also mentioned the radiator and at no point did anyone mention any other issues with the car to explain why it broke down. I approved replacing the radiator with Nate after I spoke with him in person and got my estimate, thinking it was the only work my car needed to run smoothly again. After the work was done I went to pick up the car and upon paying was told that the fuel pump was also an issue. I was assured the car would drive fine. The car died again on the way home, any time it idled more than 30 seconds it died from the moment I picked it up. I had to have it towed again. When I called the location afterwards, the tech said they didn’t turn my car on to notice the sound/shaking until the morning I picked it up, yet they told me they did diagnostic work and it was shaking and dying while idling prior to having it towed in. I am very upset as I would not have had any work done had they done actual diagnostic work and told me the fuel pump was bad too. They clearly did not DO the diagnostic work they said they did.

After almost 1800$ 3 extra days my truck is still messed up . Called corporate 10 days ago was told they would call me back asap . Well Id say 10 days does not qualify as asap. Sad thing is thats all the money I had to fix my familys one vehicle. Ive been told by 2 other shopsi I need another 1000$ of work done. Work that should have already been done. Safe your money and take a hammer to your vehicle it will turn out better in the long run

Honestly the worst experience Ive ever had in the Auto industry Ive been in the car business for over 20 years I can promise you Ive never seen a facility ran quite like this one I dont know how theyre still there I paid to have my air conditioning repaired they had my vehicle for two weeks and they never even repaired it and wanted me to pay even more money my vehicle was not repaired as well as falsely diagnosed... I was ripped off lied to and misled as well as overcharged... I would NOT recommend that anyone bring any vehicle there for anything whatsoever Meineke is a terrible business... thank you

I needed an oil change and I didnt have an appointment and I walked to make one and I was told they could take me in. I was very happy that Travis Teffs, the manager was able to help me. My experience was wonderful!! The lobby was clean and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I think Meineke is really trying hard to turn the reputation around. Please keep up the great work Travis!!

Completely unreliable. Ive tried to get my last two oil changes here due to the seemingly convenient location. Both times Ive showed up to my appointment on time only to be told that they cant fit me in due to computer or staffing issues. The least you could do is call and let people know before they show up.

One salesperson was very friendly and helpful, while the other counter person was fairly curt with me. Before they began I asked if they would be rotating the tires, the salesman said probably not, I mean we could if you wanted us to. Making me feel like I would be imposing if I asked them to do all the things that the Groupon stated were included... He had also informed me that they would be a while before taking me in, even though I had an appointment, to which I was 20 minutes early for. At the end of the oil change, which took about 1.5 hours from my original appointment time. The salesman said that I had oil leaks everywhere, am exhaust rattle, and 2mm left on my rear brake pads, hard shifting transmission and that my engine shacks (shakes) . I am mechanically inclined and have spent a decent amount of time under my truck... I definitely dont have big oil leaks because I can go 6000 miles without topping off my oil, my engine does not shake and I just the day before had identified (just by crawling under and looking for two seconds) that the exhaust rattle they mentioned was a loose heat shield attached to my transmission. Not entirely sure how they would have accurately measured my brake pad thickness, as they did not remove my wheels... They asked me if I would like them to quote me for repair on all the issues they found. I should have asked for the quote just to see exactly how badly they would try to rip me off... Unless you are mechanically inclined, I would highly advise going elsewhere. I will certainly never be back.

The actual mechanical work done on my car was great. I’m not one to leave a bad review. But the young man working the front counter could use some customer service training. I won’t be returning or continuing to refer anyone else. If you’re so busy you can’t give a customer any time estimate their car will be ready, tell them that? I wasnt treated like a paying customer. This location has a serious attitude issue. Learn some communication skills, please. Maybe a receptionist.

I made an appoinment online to get my oil changed and got confirmation texts and emails for the day I was expecting to get my oil changed. When I showed up they told me that my appointment was actually for later in the week and they couldnt help me now. I had texts and emails saying that my oil change was meant to be exactly when I showed up. They blamed their computer but I made an appointment they should see me. I went to Jiffy Lube down the street and got my oil changed because they accept walk ins. Meineke then emailed me later that night telling me they had to cancel my appointment for later in the week. Just go to Jiffy Lube for oil changes Meineke is unreliable.

Awesome service and repair! The manager, Travis, and technician JJ worked my car without an appointment into their schedule and repaired it above my expectations. Ask for Tech JJ! He really knows his stuff and tuned my car so it runs like new. He also rebuilt the brakes of my car and they are so smooth. Will not regret taking my car to them for everything in the future.

I came to Meineke after having some trouble getting my battery changed because of a corroded terminal that cracked. The staff at the auto store (not Meineke) started stripping back the wires that connected to the terminal without being able to complete the connection back to a new terminal. I had to have my car towed to Meineke close to closing time. I originally thought I would have to leave my car overnight but they came out and worked on it right away. They were able to fix the wiring and replace my battery terminal in 10 minutes. Much appreciation for your team! Thank you.

Not good. I now have an oil leak from the oil pan plug. I was also told i needed brakes, took it elsewhere and was told they are at least 80%. Luckily when I came back to Meineke they almost doubled the quote they initially gave me which made me go elsewhere for a second opinion. Terrible dishonest business practice.

I booked appointment by calling them and they sent me appointment confirmation by email. Also, I called them with same number before I get to the store to do oil change. However, when I arrived to the store, the manager denied that I called them before I showed up, he showed me that my appointment was in different time even I showed him the email for the appointment confirmation, and he told me he didn’t have workers to do oil changed anyway for the day. I showed him that I called store before and they should have at least me know but he denied that was their store phone number, so I decided to called the same number in front of him but he was lying the phone was ringing in front of me :( immediately after that, he was trying to kicked me out of store even I was talking respectfully and politely with him. I just reported to customer service and shared with them all the records, they were very disappointed with service. I had amazing experience with another Meineke Center for almost 2 years but this one was the worst experience ever in my life.

I decided to buy a Groupon out of convenience. I called and made an appointment for the next day. when i dropped my car off the gentleman at the counter was really nice and friendly. He told me I need to pay extra for a cartridge filter for my car that wasnt covered in the groupon, Which is fine. He also told me I need synthetic oil and not just the synthetic blend that comes with the groupon, thats fine also, I understand that. Told me it would be an hour or so, so I went for a walk. They called and I came and picked it up. Two day later I found some to.e to do my timing belt on the vehicle and when i got it onto some jack stands I noticed that the oil cartridge case looks like it hasnt been touched in a long time(road grime and dust). Then I decided to check, so I drained the oil dark black( they might have changed it but I couldnt tell) but when I pulled the oil filter out, it was old and very used.I called the meinike hot line to talk to someone. I ended up talking to a person at a call center and was told someone would contact me.Today I receieved a call from the store manager. He told me he would talk to the tech and call me back.When he called me back he said the tech remebers the car and he for sure changed it. He said it was the diesel right wrong. And so I asked him what kind of oil filter they used. He said fram oil filter and gave me a model number... Wrong again!! He told me he could offer me a free oil change. I told him I did not want to come back and told him I wanted a refund and for them to pay for the oil change I had to do myself. Again told me all he could offer was a oil change. He then started getting aggressive telling me that how could I have done a timing belt when it has a chain.. Wrong again!! He ended up hanging up on meA couple things really bother me about this. I stumbled apon this by accident, so who knows how many people they have done wrong.Second the manager I was talking to kept say I wasnt here i dont know I was accusing him I just want what I feel Im owed. I understand small business and Im not trying by any means hurt and ones business but this is down right not right. I have videos of the oil filter I pulled out and it shows how the filter case hasnt been touched. Beleive what you want but you can look at my reviews and im pretty sure this is my first bad review. I havent been to an automotive shop in a long time bings I usually had done this stuff all by myself but as we get older we dont want to do it anymore. The people there got a little short with me when I didnt understand why I had to sign a piece of paper but that I understood, and they got me in right away and looked at my brakes and let me know my brakes were just fine they are located on the 3000 block of 6th avenue in Tacoma they were really nice though after the problem was diagnosed. I have added this edit to my review. It is a good idea to get more then just two places to look at your brakes because I went to two different places can I have them look at my brakes and got two different outcomes, meineke said my brakes were like brand new. Les Schwab said my brakes were 50% in the back and brand new in the front. So now Im going to take it to a third party and have them look at them then I will make a decision.

I went to them to flush and fix my coolant line and heat. I had an amazing experience with the initial person who checked me in, he was kind gave me a decent estimate and I remarked it matched a dealers estimate, and he sent me on my way. When I came to pick up my car, I met the manager, he started off telling me how I got a great deal from the last guy. I was like ok, can I have my car. And I told him well the quote he gave me matched others and that’s when his rudeness kicked in. Arguing with me that it wasn’t . I asked if he had done my brake estimate and he replied “you need brakes but we aren’t going to be cheap enough for you.” Now I’m not sure if this is how they treat Black clients or women but I doubt they would still be in business if they did this to everyone. Not to mention the heat is still blowing cold and is not fixed and I don’t feel safe enough to take it back to get it repaired.

Absolutely stellar customer service. I went to get my break pads replaced, but after a free break inspection I was told that my break pads still had a lot of life left. They then took my car for a test run to see if they could figure out what the squeaking I heard was coming from. It ended up being dust that occasionally settles/gets released from my rear drum breaks, and was completely harmless. Good to know!

I took my car for an oil change. They told me that they couldnt do it because my drain plug was stripped. They told me that l would be better off buying a new car. The guy told me that car was about to blow up. I know that my car is in good shape, the Cadillac service dept. told me that my car is in great condition. Yes it has oil leaks. I was told that it would cost almost 10.000 to fix.Well l went down the street to Buckys. They said drain plug was not stripped. I asked they for an estimate to repair oil leak. It was less than 2000. Not the 10,000 like I was told at meineke.

I returned to the area to collect the remainder of my belongings and planned to drive over the mountains. I needed my car to be safe for the journey and they assisted me quite well. Service was excellent. My engine started overheating and check engine light came on. They took my car in the same day and ran a full diagnostic. They sent an email with every single little thing they found. They replaced my water pump, battery, fixed my brakes, replaced my sensor, and gave me a timeline of other repairs down the road. It only took one and a half days for all repairs to be made. I will definitely go back.

My son took a car here today (Sat 9/5/20) that he was thinking about buying for a pre-inspection and the 2 guys who were working today not only greeted us immediately, but were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They both right away were able to point many issues with the car that were not safe and that would have cost him both a headache and a lot of money if he purchased this car from this shady dealership that was trying to mask over. I would totally recommend this shop hands down. Thank you to these 2 gentleman for being so awesome and saving my son a lot of $$$

When I got there the employee at the desk was busy, so I waited. Finally, I told him I have a bad back and needed to sit down. He directed me to a chair outside. Then he had some guy that he was trying to sell a car to come in and out. After 25 mins of waiting to get processed in, I asked how long it might be until I could get help. He said he was on the phone and would come out when he could. I asked how long the oil change would take and he said at least two hours. They have no place for you to sit except a small chair outside. Cannot accommodate customers. Called Jiffy Lube, got right in and was done in 15 mins. Much better customer service and attention to the client. Will NEVER to back to Meineke and will continue to tell everyone I know about my horrible experience.

Was looking for a bmw down the street at rock auto Tacoma and the bmw looked super clean but there were a few red flags so I decided to take it here to get inspected before purchase. I was told right off the bat that there was something fishy with the car and within 2 mins they were able to figure out all the problems and told me to STAY AWAY from the car they were super professional and very kind they didn’t even charge me because it was obvious there was an exhaust leak going on and there were codes being thrown left and right. The dealership tried to sell me a lemon and these guys saved me a wholeeee bunch of headache LIFESAVERS!!!🙏🏾 I forgot the two gentlemen’s names I think one was Jeremy the front desk guy and there was one other guy who looked at my car and they looked out for me today they wouldn’t even take a tip from me so if you guys need a true and honest estimate on your car hit these guys up for sure! I am a very satisfied individual! Saved me from dropping $2000 on a $8000 car that would’ve needed over $5000 in repairs right off the lot

Edit: They lied about the work I needed done. They said I needed both front and back breaks, no mention of rotors. I asked if one set of breaks on the car could go a little further- he said yes . So I later saw on the bill I’d been charged for rotors too- and took my car to Les Shwab on 6th Ave. they said my rotors were fine and breaks didn’t need change quite yet. Called Meineke to ask if he has me scheduled to get rotors changed, and he said “yes”. I called out his BS. Don’t mess around with this place. They’ll tell you that you need work done which you do not. They’re also way overpriced. Firestone on 6th offered a cheaper oil change.

I have to say that this place is the most helpful place I had been to in a very long time. I always had horrible experiences with car repair shops and new manager Jeff (previously James) and his team made it such an amazing experience. These guys worked super hard to make sure that my car was up and running. Took a couple extra days, but I was happy they took their time. :) When I got it back, they explained everything to a T, got me all the papers I needed, and had her out front and ready to go. Jiffy Lube said that it was just a new oil pan that I needed, but they saw the big picture and underlying issues with it and tackled it like pros.I highly recommend extending or offering your patience when visiting them so they can take good care of your car. Under pressure, they also do an amazing job and try their best to help in anyway possible. Please be kind to these guys. They really deserve it

My PREGNANT wife took the car in for a simple oil change and guy in front desk was rude towards her. Told her to “hurry up” as she was having pain and gave her smart a** remarks. Said he was new, started working TWO WEEKS ago and he didn’t know anything. Computer froze on him and he got even more agitated towards her. When she asked for something he responded “it’s not like I have 5 other things to do” and shrugged her off. Will not be coming back and not recommending to anyone.

I recently bought a Voucher for changing my cars brakes. It is the third time that I go to the appointment at the time and the guy who answers at the counter tells me that he has no system to attend me. I can not understand how you put an unprepared person to attend the counter, I did not see any cordiality in the service, I had to lose more than 3 days of my job to take the car to fix and I always have to go back with new apointment, until when that Why do you offer a prepaid volcher if you cant answer? or the problem is with the clerk. You should hire a woman to serve, or you will lose customers and credibility. I need an urgent return my car is losing its brakes, or return my money.

Dropped my vehicle off at 9:30 in the morning I was called at 5:30 in the afternoon to pick up my vehicle. The mechanics couldn’t get any of the services done on my vehicle and there was a huge dent increase in my rear passenger door that they said that they did not do but it wasn’t there when I drop my truck off that morning. I would not recommend this place in 1 million years to my worst enemy.

I went in to get my car looked at for issues I was having, I called they picked up very nice and professional and went in a couple minutes after. When I arrived they took care of me immediately and got my vehicle checked. I went here for an oil change and when I walked through the door there was friction between the gentleman up front and a couple. They told me their gripe but I had a totally different experience. The front counter man was AWESOME to me. Polite, professional and courteous. I didnt get his name but his gf is trying to get him to move to Renton he told me so hell know who I am. He didnt give me the impression that he was out to fleece me and I appreciated that as a customer. He even offered me a very fair deal on tires. I highly recommend this place. Although I was informed that I would be kept in the loop I had to call every few days to find out what was going on with my vehicles repair. One of the mechanics had a nasty stench and smelled like he was hungover. This same mechanic said that he had taken my vehicle for a test drive after the repairs were finished and told me that the vehicle was running great! I didnt get more than 3 blocks away from the shop before I found that the vehicle was not running well at all. This was weeks ago, and I still dont have my vehicle back yet!

Worst experience at any auto repair shop. Our car was there for 9+ hours(We were quoted 1 hour of work) Had to call back twice to check what the status was. Almost $150 dollars later and the car is still not fixed. The employees were incredibly rude and unprofessional. I came here on a reference from another Meineke location that I go to, so it’s extremely disappointing to get this level of customer service.

The worst experience with an auto repair shop Ive ever had!!! More like a scam shop if you ask me.Took my car in on a Saturday morning and was told that it would be done later that afternoon. 4pm rolls around with no update until I had to call myself to see what the status was. Was told another 1-1.5 hours longer so I said I would just pick it up tomorrow (Sunday) and the employee on the other end told me that would be ok. Next morning, show up at 10am and the doors are shut and the lights are off. CLOSED SUNDAYS. Didnt get a call till 10:30 on Monday morning telling me my car was done.Went to pick up my car and tell them that I am not happy with their service and the fact I went 2.5 days without a car, the best they could do was a 20% discount.Upon driving my car out of the parking lot, my cars alignment was completely skewed. So I turned around and told them that my alignment wasnt right and they told me that they dont do car alignments even after working on my steering, which is why my car was in there in the first place.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, SAVE YOUR MONEY/TIME AND FIND ANOTHER AUTO REPAIR SHOP!!!

Had appointment at 1pm got there 12:50pm nobody recognizes we were there the owner came into the waiting area and said it would be about 45 min to a hour for a oil change then he took my info which was given when the appointment was made then told me they couldn’t use the coupon $19.99 when the appointment was made nobody said I couldn’t use the coupon till I showed up and tried to charge me $50 I walked out

I made an appointment for 1pm 3 days prior for a full synthetic oil change, when dropping my car off to Chip he seemed annoyed. You cannot wait there with you car (which I understand) but you aren’t given an estimate of when your car will be done either. All Chip said was it’ll be done by 6pm. What’s the point of an appointment if I’m waiting 5 hours? I called back 3 hours later my car had never been touched, I came back to pick up my car cause I’m not from the area anyways and couldn’t wait any longer he said they had other cars they were working on but I could reschedule. I declined and will not choose this shop again.

The service was fine as far as oil changes go.The only reason there are only 2 stars and not 5 is the shop posted mandated pandemic requirements that all patrons wear masks and maintain social distancing (all patrons I observed obeyed) while not a single employee either at the front desk or in the maintenance area wore a mask.My car was well maintained (although Im certain it wasnt sanitized afterwards) but the respect for mine, the Employeess, the community and every patrons health was not evident In the least.Ill look for other options in the future for these reasons alone. If there was the slightest level of concern this review, they requested of me would be far different.Again, great car service but thats not all a business needs to consider, especially during a pandemic.

The location off of pacific Ave is the best. Very professional and was very quick. Had a bad experience at the 6th ave so wasn’t never going to use meineke again but I am glad I decided to call the pacific Ave location. Def changed my perception. Thank you so much! You deserve a 5 star.

Every time I visit a Meineke car care center, I get welcomed warmly. My vehicle needed some unknown repairs and the employees at this location worked hard and put me first as a customer to identify and repair the problems with my vehicle. It took multiple hours, and was a very laborious task, but they put the time in to get it done right. Thank you to the technician, Morgan, for your hard work, and thank you to the manager, Jeff, for your efforts and great customer service. Would highly recommend visiting this car care center for all your repair and maintenance needs, they will do it right.

So my Friend was buying a car and they wanted $500 non refundable deposit so I suggest he takes it for a check but the only place that took us in same day was Meineke they were friendly and understanding and they allowed us to drop the car early. And boy were we glad we took the car here because they did such a through and good job and we found out that the car needed $2000 worth of repaire & maintenance before you can even drive it safely which the owner refused to do making the car super overpriced. Anyway in short they were professional and friendly did an amazing job and that 89.99 check saved us thousands of dollars down the road. So thank you for being awesome and having your customer back!

I first reached out directly to the 6th ave store to try to pay them directly instead of going through Groupon so that they could keep all of the money vs Groupon getting a portion of it. Same cost to me/more money to the business.They said I had to buy from groupon- whatever, your loss.After diagnosing that I needed front rotors and pads, the estimate was at $500+. Each rotor was being priced at $120 which is ridiculous considering I can get a genuine rotor from an actual Toyota dealership for $94 each. When i mentioned this to the worker, it was explained that I could get the same Orange Juice from Whole Foods for $4 and get it from Fred Meyer for .89- then said he was the Whole Foods. At that point I said to put the car back together and went to pick it up.Please keep in mind that I wouldve been willing to spend $400 on front pads and rotors installed (still too pricey) but the price gouging and attitude turned me off enough that Ill do it myself next weekend. All parts are already shipped and cost less than $140. Now I wont even go to that shop for an oil change. You guys lost a pretty reasonable customer*The Puyallup Mieneke was much better when I went earlier this year and may consider going there again but its far from where I live now.

Chip, the employee at the desk, wasn’t wearing his mask and was EXTREMELY rude to myself and another customer. I’ll never return to this location as it was uncomfortable. He was aggressive with a woman who was asking for clarification about a price and he told her that her husband was rude to him and berated her. Additionally, he was previously, upon dropping off, very rude and short to a woman who came in to ask about availability. Yikes!
