I love this company. Not only do I save a lot of money for everything. Phone, internet, and tv, but the service is outstanding. If there is an outage even on a holiday or weekend, you can reach them and they help and keep you informed of status. I very highly recommend them with all my heart. You would not be sorry for choosing them for your services.
I had an issue using Wifi but it was resloved by new Vision Communications. It was easy and fast!!
The Technicians are top rate professionals. Forget the 4 hour window with the other companies. Here at 9AM on the money putting in my new 1000/1000 internet. Blazing fast now.
My parents started using this WiFi back in 2015 and honestly has changed the way I use internet and wifi. Absolutely stunning quality and speeds. Not sure how much they pay but I never have an issue with the internet unless I have 4 TV’s going and several people on their phones. Which is expected on any WiFi
Speed is BLAZING fast, I had the service for while now, few bugs in the beginning but system was all brand new. Worth every penny to watch a show on demand an not have to stop to buffer !!! Customer service always friendly & helpful !!
These guys are far better than the competition. I called on the Sunday before memorial day and they were out on the holiday fixing my internet. Very professional. Id rather have these guys than anyone else.

Possibly the only company thats actually worse than spectrum. Terrible customer service, unimpressive pricing, sketchy service. The one time the technician actually helped solve an issue, I had to deal with him condescending to me because I should have known that my direct connect printer was somehow interfering with my wifi. Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 because my internet hasnt been down recently.Ive decided to drop this to a 1 star, since they keep dropping my internet connection.I am a business customer, so the account is not in my personal name, I will email.
The worst cable provider I have had, hands down. Always going out of service. It’s like the spirit airlines of cable providers. Not worth the price. I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
They suck!!! Started off good but has gone downhill since. Costs are going up significantly. Now my service is on and off. Try to call but nobody there. No customer service after 5 oclock? Thats friggin stupid!!! When do most people watch TV? Cant wait for next deal with any provider. Time to dump these chumps!!!
Terrible experience with both support and sales teams. Do not care about uptime or any of the networks they maintain. We have had problems with proper subnetting amongst other basic technical problems. I would encourage anyone looking to do business with this company to look elsewhere. Their incompetence borders on the malicious and they simply are not up-to-date enough to realize the services they provide are mission critical to their customers.
I have a issue that when the remote does not work you have to pick up for another. Some people do not have the ability to pick up and you are not conveniently close by. The remotes wear out is not the customers fault. We pay good money for this service. This was recommended by friends in the area. Not happy.
Well, after a rocky start with postponements, cancellations and empty promises, things have gotten a bit better. Unlike some of the reviews, the installers who connected the Internet to my home were very courteous and professional. The service itself seems more than adequate. It is billed as 100/100. Im fairly certain this speed is never realized, but few companies who advertise the same claim actually come through with the goods on that type of speed. As with any provider you choose, the speeds in the late afternoon/early evening tend to be bit slower compared to other times. Again this is a common problem with any provider. Compare to rush hour on the roads. Too many cars, not enough lanes. Too many web requests, not enough bandwidth. So far so good. 4 stars as of this post.3/26/2017 update. I have decided to raise my rating to five stars. About a year into service and although I have had 1 evening where internet service was either down or slow, overall it has been great. I am not offered telephone or cable where I live so I cannot review those particular packages. Quite honestly I would probably decline them anyways. Too many people complaining about nonsense here. A light left on, illegal hookups. The price is a bit steep but I will be a customer for life if it stays where it is.
Worst cable/internet provider I have ever had. The internet constantly goes down sometimes for multiple days in a row. Cable is constantly out also for multiple days in a row. Its nice to call and have someone answer your phone call right away but no one ever follows up with the issues you call about. When service goes down they send a technician to the building to fix and can take several hours/days to resolve. Its disappointing as I would rather work with a local company supporting local business but this company is no where near where it needs to be to provide cable and internet services to the public!!
I had an appointment at 4pm to get my cable box installed. At 4:15 no one had arrived so I called and was told they were running late. At 4:45 still no one showed up so I called again and was told the person “must have missed me” and had gone home for the day. Take your business elsewhere. Horrible customer service.
Unclear and un-helpful tech support, TV goes down occasionally, only provider Ive ever had in the 4 states Ive lived in that doesnt include basic local sports network (MSG) in the basic service. Only saving grace is the internet speed. Still DO NOT recommend.
The service isnt great, Ive had it for about a year now. Its common for their installed access point to just not show up when trying to connect and the internet goes down too often. Then they have to send a tech out to our building which takes a little while.Pros:- They have always answered their service line and attempted to address the issueCons:- Price is higher than some others in the area- Unreliable, especially during busy times- The internet goes down in the building too often- The speed that I pay for isnt always there and it can be really frustrating when Im working from home- They have to come out to the building to reset something multiple times a month - cant they automate that or have some kind of virtualized server system?
The network stability and customer service is surprisingly bad. The internet connection constantly goes out almost randomly throughout the day. It would be something if it was every other day, but this is a everyday thing.The customer service is equally as bad. If you call after 5:00PM, youll reach their technical support - and these people seem to have no tools in which to help their customers at all.Ive called them three separate times for the same seemingly easy to fix issue (and that is to change the wifi password and IPTV port). The last guy I spoke to couldnt even pull up my apartment number, even though New Visions supplies the entire building.They also are very quick to tell you theyll call you back after sending a ticket to their level 2 techs - but they never do. I was promised 3 call backs and never got a single one. One of them lied and said they called my phone four times - but they havent even called me once. When I voiced this to them, it seemed like they didnt even care and assumed I was just simply lying to them...LOL! It was hilarious when I called them the third time, and the technician was reading the notes from the other two technicians. This was after I told him I was promised a phone call back and never got one.He said, Well.. Uhh... Umm... I dont know what I can do for you when it seems the last technician you spoke to did everything.I asked, Oh? What did they do?The tech on the phone started stuttering, I umm... uhh... Well, uh... They didnt exactly put down what they did, but it looks like everything on this ticket was sent to the right people?I was supposed to get a phone call back from a level two tech...I see here that they put that they were going to give you a call back tomorrow to schedule for a technician to come out there. He says. Keep in mind, I was told that the techs were going on lunch and would call me when they got back. This was at 4:50PM.So... You cant schedule right now for a technician to come out tomorrow? I felt kind of embarrassed to ask this question, because youd assume he could do it.Well, only customer service can schedule a technician to come out, and they close at 5PM. He responds.Okay, no problem. I dont think what Im asking for needs a technician anyway. The first woman I spoke to said they could at least change the wifi password.He then says, Uhh... Umm... I dont know what troubleshooting steps I could walk you through that the other two techs havent done already.What troubleshooting steps? I asked.Umm... I uhh... Whatever the previous techs had you do.And what was that? I asked while curious as to what he would say.I umm... Uhh... Well, the notes dont exactly say, but whatever she had you do.Would you just like me to tell you what we did, because you seem rather flabbergasted?Uhh... Yeah. Sure. Tell me what you guys did.Alright. We were trying to change the wifi password. The reason why she couldnt change the wifi password is because she claimed her system tools were rebooting and it would take awhile before they came back up.Ohh... Well, I wouldnt know what kind of router you have to help you change your password. He says.What router? I asked thinking he knows the Internet is supplied by their own equipment built into the ceiling I have no access to.Uhhh... Well, your Internet would have to go through your router...You guys supply the routers which are locked away and we dont have access to them. This is why I have to call you guys to get the wifi password changed.This was wild, because it was obvious he wasnt even trying to help me - and he didnt have sufficient notes on record to even tell me what was done or the progress of what was supposed to get done. After that, he couldnt even pull up information for the apartment. So, ultimately I never got my wifi password changed.
Started out 10% cheaper than competitor, then bills kept going up and now I get gigabit for what they charged me for 50mb. Not recomended for the money. Spend a bit more and get better service
I had a problem with someone who hacked into my router and put in some malicious redirects. The problem was with MY equipment - not New Visions, but a tech guy named Jeff helped me correct the situation.Amazing, excellent customer service. Is a fan!
I have been very pleased with the phone and internet bundle after switching from more expensive TWC. Its Fios for the price of dial-up. They came on time to do the install and I have had fast reliable service for a year now.
Terrible quality and service. Channels go in and out. After repeated requests, they still have not sent me a bill, but keep calling me to tell me my payment is past due. Avoid if possible.
They did receive about 2 million in connect ny money....however I dont think they realized the expense of building a fiber backbone from scratch, nor the IRR on the investment. Has anyone seen the fabulous job they are doing on the construction end? Illegal pole attachments disregarding safety and clearances of other utilities, illegal highway crossings, double pole setting...this company will go bankrupt soon, and the assets liquidated. Doubt anyone wants a self support fiber line to parish though so bye new visions. Nice try. And if you live in parish, you shouldve had Time Warner build your system off of theirs. At least they can afford to build the infrastructure in a timely fashion.
After seeing how they work and do installs i would never ever have these people on my propertyThey did an install across the street from my house, last MondayThe guy doing the install had to redo it twice because he screwed up on the length of the cableThen came the Finale, he came down on my mailbox with the bucketarm and smashed my mail boxTo make matters worse they replaced it with one half the size!Dont ever do business with this company

Impeccable and highly responsive customer service, better than advertised internet speeds and service that doesnt go out when the power does (internet and phone). That speaks to me. Ive had the alternatives and I will not return to them. Customer for as long as I live in the Solvay Electric service area!! #CoolDadApproved
Do not use this company! I am from the Parish area. They came in and installed the internet and phone on April 12, 2016. The arrived around 1 pm. They encountered some issues and they told my daughter that would return in about a half hour. They returned around 7:30 that evening. They had tracked mud from the basement all over the living area. They also turned on 2 lights down in the basement which they never bothered to turn off and we did not realize that until days later. A couple of days later I realized my fax did not work and while I was on the telephone discussing this with the NV technician, we realized that they had not even hooked the internet up to their equipment!! Also, when they had called to schedule the appointment at my house, I was told that they would take care of everything with Time Warner. When I called NV today, I was told they never said that and that I was supposed to cancel the Time Warner internet myself. And wouldnt you think that maybe when the technician I was talking to about the fax realized I still had Time Warner internet he would have said something? Maybe, maybe not! Anyway, the internet breaks up and you constantly have to wait for it to come up. I am not impressed! Rhonda, from Customer Service did not even act like she cared if I did business with them or not and I have to pay a $250 fee for them to come back and pick up their equipment! Good Riddance! A very Shady Company!!!!!

I have been with New Visions for about a year and a half now. I originally started with the TV, Phone, and Internet bundle but have since downgraded. During the initial period with the bundle, my internet speeds were incredible, as I had their upgraded internet service. I must admit, I do miss it. To save money, I switched to just Internet, and whatever their normal package for that was. It is still very fast, and I am pleased with it. I originally had their DVR service which was as good as any other provider out there. The menu is easy to navigate and you get used to it quickly.Because this is a smaller company, you get to know the names of employees quickly, especially the collections representative in my case. If you are even a day late you will receive a reminder to pay, and rightfully so as they dont have the same cash flow other larger companies do.I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone in the Solvay/Geddes area. It is significantly cheaper and the service is much better than what I received through Time Warner and their Turbo internet. Save yourself the money! My rates have not gone up even after I downgraded.Note: I use my internet to stream Netflix and play video games online. Ive never had any issues with either level of their internet for these tasks.

Can only use one device at a time . Very slow at loading a video. When watching a show it loads all the time. Very annoying. Not impressed.

Unethical company.They have received millions of dollars of government grants (taxpayer dollars) and are pocketing the money. They intentionally dont pay their suppliers. Dont do business with them.
