I’m not sure what his name is unfortunately but today I got my hair done by a gentleman that is deaf and mute and I’ve honestly never been happier with a haircut in my life the price in comparison to the quality of his work is unmatched 12 out of 10 would recommend. If you don’t visit this place you are missing out

I recently moved from NYC and was looking a good barber in Syracuse. I luckily found Twin Scissors barbershop. Adeel is one of the best Barber and I been going there for a while now. The staff is very friendly. I love this barber shop and I would recommend it others.

First time visiting the Twin Scissors after reading many amazing recommendations. I was able to have a cut with Salam. He is a great guy and he is a master at his craft. Not only was he quick and efficient, but he gave an extremely professional low skin fade. This shop is a hidden gem of barbershops in the North Side. If you like fades, or unique styling, this is definitely the place to go. On top of that, the cut was only 20$! I had no wait at all. Great shop, great experience and great cut! highly recommended!

Ive Been going to Barbers for 20 years these individuals have to be some of the most impatient, unprofessional barbers I have ever met. Unless you are well known by one of the barbers you are treated like trash. I recommend taking your business elsewhere. Oh and to top it off theyll rush your haircut to the point you feel like a weedwhacker is being taken to your head and it results in a poor cut. Trust me you can do better, then this dump stay away.

I’m an Regular Customer I always get my haircut there every 2-3 weeks depending on the occasion and bc I model I need to look professional but it hasn’t been the same since my Spanish barber left the establishment never to return again… there were really good barbers but some of them are gone or re-located to better opportunities. Wait times are high key horrible sometimes waiting for 3-5 hours or longer just to get a cut which is ridiculous I recommend showing up during 2:00 - 3:30 / earlier or else you’ll be sitting there waiting fondly to find out your barber refused to cut your hair bc he was hungry & wanted to end his shift early… could’ve talked or communicate a bit better then leaving someone hanging like that… The Barbers here are indecisive / pick & choose who to cut & make you wait till last minute to close the shop so early leaving you dumbfounded.The New Hires aren’t that great to begin with and can’t follow simple instructions even when I showed them an reference photo and expressed how I liked to be handled with my haircut. It’s rare sometime if the new recruit is greatThe deaf barber is unprofessional and always crack jokes about unappropriate assumed behavior when I use the bathroom… in his mind he thinks I’m master-bating when in reality I’m just cleaning the hair residue & follicles out from my face smh.Honest review - Find your right barber & DON’T let the new recruit cut you / don’t let the Customers rush your barber into cutting your hair quick it will be bad I personally experience an accident bc a lady walked up to my barber demanding him to hurry up… Everyone has to wait the same time & we all have place to be too not only you !!!Usually the shop closes at 9 but it’s down to 8 now ?Please clear your schedule bc you’ll be waiting for a long time !!Honestly I Give It A 6.3 / Used To Be 9

I needed to get my hair trimmed as soon as possible. When behaving professionally, the barber demonstrated his barbering skills. I was blown away by his technique, and I was overjoyed with the end product. It took just 45 minutes. The service was fantastic!

This is a “medium skin fade” by salam. I think, what bothered me the most is that I told him three times not to cut my hair on top and he still did. Haircut on 17 Dec 20, pictures from the same day.

I have never experienced this type of skills before. Everyone was very talented and they were treating people very good. I like going at their salon because of their friendly attitude.

Just got my hair cut by their deaf and mute barber and the guy (forgot his name) did an excellent job. Came down here from Illinois for a few days but didn’t have time to get a hair cut back in Illinois. I was skeptical at first due to not being from around here and especially more when I found out that the barber cutting my hair was deaf and mute. I definitely thought that I was going have issues with communication and the hair cut not coming out the way I wanted. To my surprise, it was actually really easy to communicate with him and I was very pleased with the hair cut. He is definitely a skilled barber and was very attentive to detail. I would recommend and come back again.

Went today for the first time and felt like Ive know Salem and Ty for years. Most humble and professional barbers yet. They are extremely good at what they do. Salem threaded my eyebrows and Ty cut my hair. Ty cut my hair exactly how I wanted it but, better. He even promoted other businesses to me. They take pride in their community and support their fellow business owners. Big respect to both of them. Salem made me fell like the barber shop was mine with his hospitality. I went and tried out a new barbershop today and I will never go to another barber again. I met a barber named Shukri and let me say I’ve never had a better experience getting a haircut before. I have a widows peak ( receding hairline) so it’s hard to please me but this barber not only gave me an amazing haircut but made my hairline look better, shaved my beard perfect and even gave me a massage! I woke up at the end amazed with my haircut! I will definitely continue coming here!

I’ve gotten several haircuts from this establishment and all of the barbers here are straight fire.My favorite so far have been:-Salaam (first chair to the left)-A gentleman next to Salaam (second chair on left)-Younger gentleman (first chair on right)I’ve received multiple haircuts from Salaam and the gentleman next to him. I’ve never been disappointed. They continue to make sure what you get what you want and will give you the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ treatment especially if you ask for it. They fade, trim, razor blade, wax...you name it. Salaam rounded the edges of my beard and edge up with a blade and filled in with a dye-like substance. He waxed my face and removed the dirt from my pores. I definitely recommend and rate five stars for service and cost. Inexpensive. Fast. Efficient.

I finally got the haircut I wanted and needed today. I have thick, straight, long hair and I didn’t want a buzz cut. I wanted my hair cut and styled a certain way. These guys gave me exactly what I was hoping for. And they did a great job at making my beard look great too. My facial hair grows in weird directions so I needed someone who was adept at proper grooming. These guys are phenomenal at what they do. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere adds to the pleasant experience. So long as I live in Syracuse, I’ll be a regular now that I found them. Thanks guys. See you again in a few weeks.
