Yogi, had a really great haircut. Great fades, they were able to fit me into their tight schedule. Was able to set up an appointment easily. Overall great customer service and advice. Highly recommend!

I went into get my hair cut by Yogi The Barber at Empire Syracuse Barbershop. This was Absolutely hands down the best service I have ever had In My life. For the first time within getting a haircut by him it was relaxing and perfect. he offered a hot towel and facial treatment for free, for being a new Cleint if that’s not great customer service then i don’t know what is ! My fiancée and I stopped in to get him a trim ahead of our wedding. Yogi was amazing, extremely professional and made you immediately feel relaxed and that you are in good hands. He did a superb job and the vibe of the place is wonderful. We will be back!

Derek, the owner is a respectful and a stand up person. Barbers are very good at what they do. Bartenders know exactly what they’re doing. On top of all of that the barbershop and pub is very clean, comfortable, and affordable. I love that I can choose to get a haircut or a beer!! I was confused at first thinking you have to get a haircut in order to access bar services, but NOPE either or is welcome. Amazing atmosphere and environment, I will for sure be making the spot my regular hang out for years to come!!

Walked in first time the before they closed with head full of hair unsure what I wanted the shop was about to close but yogi the barber decided to stay back and help me transform into a better version of me he did a great job and sparks a great conversation whether about sports down to whatever. This place turned me away. I went to hall of fame Barber and was treated with respect and got a good haircut.

5 stars! 1. Most importantly my barber was fantastic, understood and did exactly what I asked him to. He was thorough and diligent. 2. You walk in, the place is beautiful, stylish and of course very clean. 3. Friendly staff and great prices. 4. The pub???? The pub??? What else could you want in from a barber shop. So happy I walked in.

Barbershop is great, professional. Great cuts. The bar food is great. My only complaint is the type of music that is played; the language in the music is just unprofessional.

I was enjoying my haircut when the owner made the atmosphere truly uncomfortable, came in killed the music, slamming things around, even saw him get in a clients face as he walked in telling him the shop was closed, the guy looked like a deer and headlights so did his barbers. we all have bad days but to show your frustration in front of clients is the most unprofessional thing ive witnessed. first and last time ill be in. i will be taking my business elsewhere from here on out.

Pretty disappointed I just recently discovered the barbershop on Instagram and loved the art-deco aesthetic and I scheduled my hair appointment online with Sam and paid in advanced for 10:45am today. While I was on my way out the door to my appointment Sam texted me at 10:08am informing me he no longer had the spot I reserved available and wanted me to reschedule for another time which unfortunately I will not be doing.

I stopped in for a drink and to watch the SU game. Flatbread pizza was good.

ABSOLUTELY butchered my hairline and scissor cut. Pushed both sides way to back and it was uneven. Granted we were both in a rush but I look like a damn Picasso it’s so bad. Arguing with someone on the phone while doing my cut and texting. BAD.

I was waiting and I was told I would be next until a friend showed up for a hair cut. This is a bar as well, the owner not wearing a mask and the bartender as well. Refilling ice and stock the bar without a mask to service customers later.

Ignorant, rude, and oblivious is the definition of the owner Derrick. He is self-centered and could careless about his employees. I would never bring my hard earned money there.
