Been hiring Isaac for the last several years for annual maintenance and service on our gas fireplace insert. We couldnt be more pleased with the Company and, most importantly, with Tyler, our technician. Tylers the consummate professional: on time, experienced & knowledgeable and does his job thoroughly and quickly. This year, our insert needs its blower motor replaced and were very relieved that we have Tyler to rely upon to do this big job. They Just installed brand new furnace and central air for our Syracuse house. All work was done just in one day. They work very efficiently and professionally! Had a great experience with Isaac. I called and was originally provided a very pushed out appointment date. My ac was not serviced for quite a while but they understood that I was the new home owner and knew that I needed to have work done. I received a call back the next day with an appointment within 24 hours and Sal my technician fixes us right up. Appreciate the quick and good service.

Isaac heating cooling came and cleaned our furnace in August the guy said it needed to be deep clean deep cleaning must mean cleaning out my pockets so in October they came in they came in and did a deep cleaning and then they couldn’t get there furnace working right so they taped off the fresh air vent because the furnace was putting too much carbon dioxide into the fresh air they charge us $618 the inducer fan was bad we had to call another company to fix it I would not recommend them to anybody you can tell when they don’t know how to work on a furnace when they don’t know how to get the panels off and plus our manual came up missing after they left

I had Isaac install new furnace, AC and water heater in 2020. Was happy with that process. However barely a year later, my water heater pilot light would not stay lit. Called for maintenance and was told they couldnt send anyone for 5 days. I then called Hills heating and air in baldwinsville and they had someone out to replace my gas valve in a couple hours. The service was very affordable and they honored my Rheem warranty. I will not be using Isaac going forward and will be sticking with Hills.

We’re so glad we chose Issac heating/ air, Tyler was very professional and very friendly, he had us get started almost immediately. The work was done so well and the unit looks and works amazing. We had sone questions and Tyler assured us not to hesitate to call any time and I did have questions and he responded quickly as many companies do not and so they leave you waiting but not Issac they made sure we were satisfied .. thanks for an amazing unit we love how it works and no loudness ! Quoted $89.95 for service call. Handed a bill for over $300 and nothing was done or repaired. Tech was a really nice guy. But company communication is awful!After speaking with the local GM, I had Isaac come back to my home and perform maintenance cleaning the heat exchanger. The normal price for this cleaning was $483 and she agreed to give me a discount of $100 because of the prior miscommunication.The service was performed and the tech left. The next day the boiler stopped working. I called for service and they called me back to inform me they no longer want to work on my Bosch Boiler. They claim the boiler was not installed properly and feel it is unsafe. Hmmm, they have been at my house multiple times since 2016 for routine maintenance and never said a word prior to now. Why would that be? After paying them $400 on Monday, on top of the $300 I paid them in March it was safe enough for them to take my money. But now will only service it if they install a new one themselves?I would never recommend anyone do business with Isaac. They have one good technician that serves the entire Syracuse area. He is good, but not even he is happy there. He is not happy working there, I am not happy with their service. And they are not happy unless they get to overcharge you for bad service.Scam outfit if there ever was one! Stay as far away as possible!

Do not trust the good reviews from this company. I had an old steam boiler that needed repair. Scheduled a morning appointment with Isaac. They give you a time range when they will show up and call you at any time they feel like prior to arriving. If you dont pick up the phone then, they cancel and go on to the next appointment! I called back literally within a few minutes and was told I needed to schedule for a week later!The tech finally came a week later. He was very nice but did not have much experience with the equipment. He kept trying to tell me that the problem was with a leaky sight glass. I already knew it was a fill valve problem that either needed to be cleaned or replaced. Fortunately, I was to convince him of the actual problem after he talked to the master technician. He agreed and said they needed to come back again to clean it. $200 for the visit, nothing was done, but fine, I understand even though I knew the problem already, you needed to diagnose It. I really just wanted it to be done.The real problem is when Ron the master tech came. This guy was an absolute crook. He was fixated on bragging about what degrees he had and how much experience he had. Thats great for him, but I just want him to fix it. He said he could either clean it or replace the part, but halfway through, he stopped and said he would do no more and left the disassembled strewn across the floor! Refused to even put it back together. I dont care what his opinions on the matter is, I dont pay to essentially have someone come and destroy my equipment. To top it off, the guy had the nerve to refuse to leave until he was paid right there and then. After destroying my heat, he basically said wouldnt do anything else for me. Wouldnt repair, reassemble, or even replace the system.If you look deep through the reviews, youll see the real way Isaac does business. Sure if you have routine maintenance or an easy fix, you might have a good experience because their office staff is excellent. If you have any real problems though, youll see customers have complained that they will purposely break parts to get you to replace your system, overcharging and scamming you, and in my case, taking apart your system, leaving it apart when you realize the work is too hard, then leaving you in the cold. To this day the parts of my boiler are still strewn across the floor

Made an appointment for activities installation. The service team said that they could not install . And that I would get my $2000 deposit returned . Three weeks later and no refund.

Absolutely impressed with the work done. The first person I dealt with was extremely helpful and explained thoroughly what the diagnosis was and why the furnace needed To be replaced. Next I met Tyler the project manager who was one of the best people I’ve ever dealt with. He was very personable took time late in the evening to help me fill out necessary online forms. He was in constant contact with answers to any questions I had. Tyler also took the time to bring over space heaters while we waited for the installation to make sure my family had heat. Through a process that is not ideal for anyone especially at the end of October in this area he made the situation stress free and made us feel great about what we were getting. After I thought it couldn’t get any better the installation crew came over on time and were finished hours earlier than expected. They were able to make an adjustment to the project that was simply to eliminate an eye sore. This task took a little more work but the gentleman said, “I take pride in the job and want it to be done in a way that looks the best”. Hiding the exhaust pvc pipes in the ceiling was something that wasn’t gonna be possible until he took the time to find a way. I’m extremely satisfied with the outcome and everything leading to it. In years past I’ve used companies like Murray’s and the customer service was nowhere close to this. I recommend anyone that needs HVAC work done to go through this great company. I was looking to schedule an appointment for service on an existing heating system. I spent 45 minutes working with someone on their online chat to schedule the appointment. After all this time, the customer rep apologized and said they would call back soon after to finalize the schedule. I never heard back, but I called to follow up the next morning. At this time they said they werent taking new appointments in my service area and they didnt know why i would have been told different the day before. Complete waste of time. Poor communication and scheduling.

The representative ( PJ) THE worked w me helped me w the states 50/50 program ...I qualified ...Tyler and his associate were here in a timely manner given the snow strom, he explained everything thing that needed to be done and regulations as to why ..the furnace installation took abt 6 hours, plus had to run wires and switches from the electricalpanel...they put down cloth tarp to protect flooring and completely cleaned up when finished..would have never know they there ...I dont even think they took a lunch break .I was given a recommendation for a Issac HVAC from a freind who had done installation work at his and his mothers house ...this company is in the regional Western and cny are...would highly recommend..peace enjoy

I had a gas leak national grid said to call a repair service. I called on a Tuesday, said they’d come over on Wednesday to fix my valve. Came over charged me $192 and didn’t fix the valve. Then said they’d come over the next day and fix the valve. They didn’t come I called and they said the valve hasn’t arrived yet and no ones coming and couldnt give me an estimate on when. I have been without gas for three days, No one called to cancel, and I got charged $192 for them to basically tell me what national grid told me. I would steer clear away from them.

I would like to give a higher review as everyone I worked with seemed very professional, however, I did not get any work done as I was never sent my quote or had anyone call me for a follow-up.Staff that scheduled the appointment for the quote was very professional. It was a month wait just to get an appointment which I assume was because of time of year (summer) and covid.I had a family emergency and had to reschedule my appointment which their staff was very helpful in doing. Finally had the tech come out to do the quote. The tech was on time and professional. I was told I would receive the quote in a couple days.A week went by and I still had not received the quote or hear from the tech. I emailed the tech to find out if they might of sent the quote to the wrong email. A quick reply told me they apologize for the delay and I would receive the quote shortly. Unfortunately this was over a month ago and I have yet to hear anything from Issac.I would like to leave a higher review but unfortunately I did not receive the service I was expecting based upon other reviews =/

Second floor Mitsubishi Split air/heat pump install. Called ahead, on time, friendly, answered any questions during and about the installation, very efficient and smooth operation. I don think they even took time for lunch. When they finished we could not find anything to clean up.

I bought a home a few weeks ago and needed central air installed. I got four quotes (I intended to get only three, but the first one was SO high I figured it was an outlier) Isaac has a good reputation and I read about their training school in their website, so I had them over for a quote. For some reason I had it in my head that they’re super expensive - maybe I heard it from someone, I can’t remember - but I figured what the heck, can’t hurt to get a quote. They actually came in the lowest! They showed up on time and did a great job on the installation. They got creative too which I thought was awesome. What I mean is there are four, square, concrete pavers lined up in my backyard where the unit would go. I imagine the people who lived there before had a grill on it. They asked me my thoughts on them...like did I want to keep them as is. I said no, I would probably remove them this spring. They rearranged them to form a big square concrete pad and put the unit on top of it. The unit itself sits on a heavy duty plastic base and the base is on top of the pavers. It’s a lot more sturdy that way and looks better than just sitting on the ground. They swept and vacuumed before they left. You would never know anyone was there. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend!

My 35 year old furnace decided to quit during a cold snap of -11 degrees. I was not really surprised, I had already done homework regarding what a future furnace purchase might look like.The dispatcher, that took my original call, the repair person, the sales person and the installer were incredibly professional, polite, articulate, knowledgeable people. My options were explained clearly and the sales rep was low pressure and a good listener. I was able to purchase the two stage furnace I was interested in and first thing the next morning, the installer arrived with my new furnace. The installer was very polite, efficient, neat and professional and I was cozy and warm with a quiet furnace later that day.I was very pleasantly surprised to work with such an outstanding service team. Isaac is top shelf. Based on my experience, I would recommend Isaac to anyone.

Poor customer service. Technician didnt arrive on the scheduled day. Required a credit card but didnt have a invoice available. Technician then emailed me an invoice but I was charged more than that amount because the office claims invoices are subject to change. $386 too turn a breaker off and on and test 3 ground wires 🤔

I Had Isaac Heating & Air install a Mitsubishi ductless cooling system in my house today. The technician were very kind and courteous. Also prompt and clean. Our tankless water heater stopped working and Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning was the only company in the Syracuse area that was capable of having a service technician at our house in less than 24 hours. All the other companies we called (at least 3) could not provide service for a minimum of 3 days. The Isaac technician was extremely knowledgable of our water heater, he was polite and professional. He was able to get our water heater working in less than an hour. I highly recommend Isaac Heating and Air conditioning.

My hero, that’s all I can say. I woke up at 3am for work, and found that my furnace wouldn’t kick on. They got me in quick and got my furnance up and running. Tim was my service guy, and he was amazing! I highly recommend them and I also joined there contract program!

I had a real bad experience with Issac in Syracuse. My AC was flooding in the basement and I had a puddle of water. I called Issac and they sent a technician out. He spent two hours trying to fix it. Cleaned it up and it looked fixed. I went to check an hour later and the same puddle of water appeared. Called Issac and someone was suppose to come out at 9:30 pm that day. The technician showed up at 11:30 pm and said I wouldnt be charged and then replaced a part that I had to pay for and told me to call the Service Manager on Monday. I called on Monday didnt hear back from anyone till Wednesday and then the service manager calls me. Tells me about something how I called in 2018 on a service job (its now 7/2020) and then proceeds to tell me he cant do anything for me? Does this makes sense to anyone? Why would you charge someone for something that wasnt fixed? UNREAL!

Had air conditioner maintenance today by Isaac heating and air. Technician Sean came to the house and cleaned and checked the air conditioner as well as troubleshot some problems we had been having with the system. He was very thorough, explained everything he was doing, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was in top working order. All this and it was pouring out while he completed work on the a/c unit. I am so happy that we called Isaac and will be recommending to everyone we know.

My wife and I bought our first home last year and after the first summer of sitting in a hot 86 degree muggy living room after long days of work we decided no more!. Due to our circumstances of having crank out windows and baseboard heating with no option of window units. We decided to get Mitsubishi electric splits installed in our house, we called up many different companies in CNY and got lots of quotes. Then Micheal George the project manager from Isaac came out and spent time with us at our table and explained how EVERYTHING worked with the install and gave us a quote that was considerably cheaper than all of the other quotes. We got a hyper heat unit for slightly more than what others were quoting us for the BASIC units and with Isaac you get a lifetime warranty on the work. We chose Isaac obviously and today 4/29/19 Tyler and Jay showed up for the install and were very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took care of our home putting drop clothes down and adhesive backed cellophane on our carpet and everywhere they were working in our home and they did not leave a spec of dust or dirt in our home. Then during the install there was another gentleman ( a supervisor or boss) that showed up to inspect their work . If you are looking for a install from Isaac I would not even think twice about pulling the trigger and if you have heard anything negative about them, to put it bluntly chances are its from one of those people that can never be pleased and have to complain about everything. Isaac was flawless and top notch. I highly recommend them!

Do not use this company at all over priced and disrespectful.I have a family of 5 thats 3 small childrenHad issac hvac come out they charged 83.00 service fee plus tax when they told me my exhaust blower was bad the total was going to be 400 plus an additional 83.00. This is ridiculous service fee should be included in the repair. The part is 100.00 and litterally is 4 small screws it only took 7 minutes to change. If you want to get ripped off then you should use issac, if you want to be treated right call a local company. Tax shouldnt be on a ser ice fee and there was no tune up or any other operation performed. Home depot at least does a tune up when they come out.

Made a appointment about a month ago and it was confirmed about 4 times for a 8-9am appointment, 9 o’clock with no phone call whatsoever so I called and was told I would receive a call within a half hour, 10 o’clock and still no phone call, I called again and was treated very rude by multiple people and finally after asking 4 times I received a phone call from a supervisor to make good on the appointment with a 1/2 off discount, He said mistakes happen and they scheduled 2 people at the same time and I was the customer that was let down because of it, this was my first time impression of Isaac Heating and regret ever calling them, I wasted a day off because of this and was completely let down and treated poorly....
