We are so happy at Masters Martial Arts Academy. Master Lee is professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. My kids love him! When stay at home orders began, he didn’t miss a beat. Zoom classes are of the same caliber as in person classes. Karate is the only activity we have stuck with during the covid outbreak. He even delivered a new karate belt personally to our house! I would definitely recommend this business to anybody looking to enroll their child in karate.

Masters Martial Arts is one of the best programs I ever signed up my son for! And master Mike is a phenomenal teacher and a human being. He created a fun, engaging, warm & friendly atmosphere where my son loves to go to week after week. He is a wonderful mentor and all the kids respect & looks up to him. My son started almost 2 years ago and it’s been wonderful to watch his confidence, self esteem and and self discipline grow with the help of the program.

My son has been going to Masters Martial Arts for almost a year now and I cant recommend it enough! I have been bringing my son(8) to MMA for three years now. It has been such a wonderful experience that my daughter (6) has started her karate journey here too!! Both my children absolutely love it!!! Master Mike and his instructors have created a positive and fun environment where they take the time to work with students. My daughter started exactly a year ago, she started very shy. Now after a year my daughter has improved tremendously not only physically but intellectually. Master Mike is endlessly patient, caring and funny BUT strict on rules and his values and that’s why I love this place. If your kid is shy like mine, you’ll only need patience because it will be worth it. Please try it if you are thinking on enrolling your child.

Personally, I go here and I am a black belt. This place to me is my home away from home. I have been going here for about five years and I cant tell you have much I have learned from coming here. All the experiences we go through, and all the fun we have is really a part of the experience. We get pushed further than our limits to make us better and stronger people. You cant just find quality on the streets, so if you want pure quality, here is the place for you.

Excellent training for younger kids. Plenty of teachers for each class to help out. Master Mike teaches every class. My 3 boys are always excited to go and are building confidence everyday.

I have been with Master Mike for over 3 years. It’s been an excellent experience for me and my 2 daughters (age 8 and 5). My girls are learning the fundamentals of self defense, but life lessons as well. Master Mike teaches them respect for themselves and others, and confidence.The adult classes are great. Regardless of skill level everyone is welcome and everyone comes away having been pushed excel. It’s a great group of people who go there.It’s been a great ride for all of us!

My son started at Masters Martial Arts with Master Mike when he was only 3 1/2 years old. We were worried that he was younger than the usual starting age of 4 but Master Mike was able to keep him engaged. Hes now 4 1/2 and loves going to class every week especially whens hes up for his belt test (now a red stripe belt)! Master Mike is amazing with the kids and really knows how to keep their attention, especially little ones like my son who get distracted easily. He teaches kids to concentrate, be respectful, confident and disciplined in a fun way. I would highly recommend Masters Martial Arts to any of my friends looking for martial arts class for their kids!

Master Mike runs such an excellent program at his Martial Arts Academy in Syosset. Our daughter Gabriella started this past Fall-2017 just as she was turning 5y/o. She absolutely loves it there! (As does her Mommy!). Master Mike combines discipline, athleticism, confidence, and most of all FUN into each session. Gabriella is able to channel her energy in a positive manner all the while learning a new sport/art form. She just recently advanced to her yellow stripe belt and the happiness and proud feeling Gabriella achieved were so rewarding to herself and to us as well. Master Mike is so wonderful with the kids and his personality and talent are exemplary. We without a doubt give Master Mike and his Martial Arts Academy 5 stars!🙂

My boys love MM classes, we have been doing it for 4 years now ever since we moved to Syosset. Last year we added sparring to it for my older son and he is having the best time.

I was looking a place to train and get I shape and found the perfect spot! Master mike is an exceptional trainer with years of experience.He has helped me build my core and shaped my body. I have always found fitness to be a very difficult lifestyle habit to maintain. Its usually the first thing that you let fall by the waste side when you have a busy life and grueling schedule whether it be at work or with your little ones. That is until I decided to change my life for the better. I realized that putting my personal health at the forefront of my life would benefit all of the other responsibilities that will always require time and attention. Master Mike has shown me the importance of self worth and pushes me to persevere through all of my self doubt to better my mental and physical health. Master Mike is truly an amazing instructor and through his extensive experience he can instinctively tell what each child needs to become more focused and confident in every aspect. We are only a few weeks in, and my once shy 5 1/2 year old is confidently raising his hand to volunteer different forms he is learning. If I could give Masters 10 stars, I would. Masters has truly helped my son gain confidence, strength, and discipline. I signed up for kickboxing and have gained strength and confidence as well.Master Mike is awesome with the kids. He is funny, yet firm, and teaches students in a way that keeps them focused while learning and having fun. We love Masters Martial Arts so much that my sons friend signed up, as well as two of my friends for kickboxing.Master Mike is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to nutrition. He helped me make informed diet changes and I definitely notice a difference in my energy levels and my pants feel a little looser! =)Funny little story... the other day after we left church, my son asked me, Mommy, do you know who made me strong?I was so proud of him. My kids have had a wonderful few months learning Taekwondo here! Master Mike is well-versed in teaching kids - he is patient, warm, friendly, and yet strict when necessary. Its a great blend that lends itself to my kids learning a strong skill set in his classes. I highly recommend him!

Masters martial arts is great! After a lot of research and trials at other dojos, Masters turned out to be a perfect fit for us. My 8 yr. old son has been a member for close to a year now. From the time he was a toddler he struggled with extreme shyness and social anxiety. These classes have helped him dramatically overcome most of these issues. It is also heart warming to see him smiling and enjoying himself in class. He is a talented young piano player that is now able to perform at recitals, something that we never thought would be possible. We were so impressed by this school that my husband and I decided to join the adult classes. I have become stronger, leaner and healthier! (My pre-baby jeans fit again!🎉). Masters Martial Arts in Syosset is by far the best adult fitness and kid martial arts center on Long Island. Instructor Master Mike Lee is so well versed in the correct fitness techniques for mind, body and spirit that it is impossible not to get and stay in shape.
