The center is very well run. Instructor Joseph Chung provides a positive environment that focuses on learning, respect, discipline, and fun. He is an exceptional human who knows how to connect with children of any age. My son has improved tremendous and loves the class. Instructor Chung is an energetic and caring individual whom tries to support your kids as best he can. The values and discipline he teaches coincide with what we’d like our kids to learn.

My daughter have been practicing at this Dojang for almost 3 years now and gone from a green belt to Bodan belt. The instructor has positive energy in helping the students be more confident and discipline. He focuses on proper forms and techniques and adapted to teaching multiple belts at a time.During the pandemic, the school offered zoom classes to keep the students active and continue to practice their curriculum. Now the school is opened again, Instructor Chung puts a lot of effort in place to keep the students safe by checking temperature and sanitizing hands upon entering the school. In between each class, the instructor would clean the mats and there are barriers added to keep students at a safe distance apart.

My 2 boys started learning Taekwondo at Champions Martial Arts Syosset about a year ago and they love it! Instructor Chung is very professional and patient with kids (especially young kids like my younger son). He doesnt only teach them Taekwondo, but also morals and disciplines. During the pandemic, although the center is closed, he offered free online zoom classes to all the students. Now the center is opened, Instructor Chung puts in all the necessary safety protocols to provide a safe learning place for all the students. Highly recommended!

My kids have been taking Taekwondo at CMA Syosset for 3 years now and they love it. Instructor Chung is very attentive to the students and genuinely wants them to succeed. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Instructor Chung has taken extra measures to keep the kids safe while offering online and in-person classes with extra safety precautions like cleaning in-between every session, small class sizes, protective barriers, social distance, mask wearing and more. I highly recommend this school.

One of the reasons why I put a five star rating is because he is very nice like he treats his students well. Another reason is because he has a great motivation to motivate his taekwondo students. Another reason is because its in Syosset and it is although far away from my home (31 min), I have the motivation to walk all the way there to make my legs work harder and harder and taekwondo as a martial art motivates me to walk all the way there!

Excellent! Our son loves coming to Tae Kwon Do. The instructor is very welcoming and is great with kids! It has helped our son a lot with confidence and I highly recommend champions martial arts in syosset!

I signed up my 2 kids(Sam/Sar) for a free trial at this place around 4 months ago. Now, they are a member with white belt and ready/excited for another belt test this coming Saturday. They loved there because the instructor is patient, kid friendly, and knows how to help the kids enjoy each practices/class. We also like there because the price & class size is reasonable and the schedule is flexible. I recommend this school.
