I reached out to Coolray for a problem with the C wire that is required for my new thermostat. Darren did an awesome job. Showed up on time for same day appointment on Sunday. Answered all my questions. Very professional.Please be advised:The price for running a C wire to the thermostat that is one level above HVAC was ridiculous $896.68. Darren suggest a great solution: to purchase a wire saver that costs $25.I will do business with them again.

When John arrived at our home, right off the bat he was extremely courteous and already knew what was going on with our system. We gave him all the info we thought was important and he went well out of his way to explain what he was doing and even show us on the camera that he has. He offered solutions for us to keep up with maintenance. He even went as far as telling us how our issue happened and that it was a gradual issue and not a “this is a serious issue” type thing. Very straightforward and honest about everything. He was down to earth and by no means pushy at all when recommending products. Of course you don’t want that when you have someone servicing in your house. He made jokes with us and dealt with all of my silly questions.So yeah, John was pretty dang awesome! Keep up the enthusiasm and being great.

I had already signed an agreement with a different company when I received a call from Shawn. After a VERY detailed discussion it was obvious that he had the knowledge that the other company didnt, (and I really like the sales people in the other company). After an in-person meeting with Shawn and Paul and a walkthrough of the work to be done I decided to cancel with the first company and sign with Coolray. I did not regret my decision!!! If anything, I will make sure that anyone looking for a referral hears about my experience.Communication was and is timely and very human. I received a notice that installers will be at the house between 8:30 and 9:30 one day after signing my contract. At 8:30am 2 installer trucks, Paul and later Shawn came on the day of the install. We went through everything again and they worked their b**** off until 12 (midnight) to get it all done. It was a ton of work in very cramped quarters or 40 up in the air.I dont have words to describe how impressed I am with Chris, Andrew, Connell and Eric. It felt like a superhuman effort to get it all done but they did without cutting any corners (trust me I was over their shoulder the entire time asking questions). With everything going on they always responded to my questions immediately and courteously as if it was the first and only asked.Owners of Coolray should be VERY proud of these individuals!Coolray services department is helping me deal with some mini-split issues - hopefully my positive experience continues. So far 11/10!!! Ill make sure I follow up with a review after everything is done and beyond into the lifetime warranty and maintenance service we signed up for.A.K.

The technician that came out, Dakota was great! He was very polite and professional! He took his time and was thorough. He made sure that he didn’t leaving until he had our A/C up and running properly! And the price was amazingly low, for all that he did! I was able to book my appointment online, which is very convenient for me considering my long work days. The technician was knowledgeable and gave me an honest, fair price for the repairs. Karim was everything a homeowner wants in a technician. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. I had heard of the brand Coolray, but Karim is the reason that I would absolutely call again. This company is not trustworthy. I called this company out 6/16 and the technician advised he completed the work but ac stop working within 5 days. I called this company back out and another technician come out and he asked for more money instead of evaluating the repairs completed before. Today, another company got my ac working without any problems. It was the same problem that this company said they repaired. I waisted $454 for faulty repairs being done. I was busy when they fixed my hvac. The thermostat was overpriced and it seemed an item was missing that should have been included with the thermostat. Just google comparative prices. Ask for what is being fixed and google how much it should cost. Lesson learned.I will remove this review if I can be convinced otherwise by the company.Absolutely disappointed that people will most likely take advantage when not properly managed.

I called in regards to an A/C tune up .... They sales rep told me they would send out a technician to tune-up the ac, get it running perfect and check the duct work for leaks.The technician came, took pictures, told me he wasnt qualified to check duct work, didnt ... and any tune-up work would require an additional service call at a discounted rate.A complete scam. I have to find another company to come out today and do the work I thought I was paying coolray for.

Semi annual service of system. As usual, the technician was prompt, professional, personable, and spent reasonable time to explain potential problems and solutions. We were comfortable that he was not trying to drum up extra business. We received photos, videos, and prices before he left and then again via email. Previously we used the company for upgrade of our air conditioning, and for part replacement in our heating system. We are confident in their work, their honesty, and in their overall professionalish.

I have been using Coolray for several years for the maintenance of my HVAC unit being that I also bought it from them. The technicians who come out have always been cordial (which is often a rarity these days from some businesses) and knowledgeable. My most recent technician, Tyreek, when explaining several options to me, was patient as he used many real-life examples to break down the technical terminology. I recommend this company highly.

Cool Ray replaced my HVAC appliances about about six years ago. They did an excellent job. I have their maintainence agreement since then. I have renewed it for 5 more years because their expertise, professionalism and customer focus. I am very satisfied with CoolRay service! Alan, who performed the latest service was excellent.

Update: the morning after my service. The panel to the HVAC was on the floor and I didnt notice yesterday but he had taped up the sides because he couldnt get it to close. Apparently the tape didnt hold. Also the inside panel is missing a screw and is also poorly taped up. So neither panel no longer closes. This needs immediate attention since I can now see the flames when the heater is on since its the main hub to both. I know for a fact it was never like this before.

Reggie checked out the furnace and diagnosed the problem. I had another heating contractor out the day before who had attempted repair and determined the board was bad. I wanted second opinion before replacing board. Reggie confirmed the board was bad and needed replacing. He explained pricing and allowed me to make the decision regarding the repair. The first heating contractor said the board would have to be ordered and would be Monday before he could obtain. Reggie also confirmed that was the same position Cool Ray was in since he did not have that particular board on his truck. I appreciated Reggies honesty and no pressure approach. I really appreciate that he arrived timely since it was Christmas Eve!

I get a text with the techs photo to let me know he is on his way. The techs are never pushy trying to add on services. They do their job quickly and depart.

We had a great experience with a full replacement of 2 AC units. They aren’t the cheapest in price but you get what you pay for - they have exceptional service and professionalism.
