Our home flooded and all contents had to be catalogued, removed, stored, returned and put back as found. This company and the folks with whom I worked were EXCELLENT. Andrew was the coordinator of all efforts and Dion and one other person were the on the ground supervisors. The packing took all day and into the night and Dion was calling me periodically to let me know progress and also to ask questions if there were particular concerns. The entire process was professional and interactive and I felt very comfortable with their care of our property even if we werent present. My trust was placed well - because they took very good care of everything they handled. I recommend them HIGHLY!

This company is AMAZING! I am a property manager and we had a flood and needed to get the residents and items moved asap, Matt, Tina and Andrew have been readily available for us at all times. We are amazed by how smooth the process was and all of our residents were thrilled when they got home to see their items either neatly packed and stored or unpacked just like their previous apartment. I highly recommend Modern Restoration and I 100% will be contacting them in the future for any issues I may have.

When we had a major water leak forcing us to replace all our hardwood flooring, the Modern Restoration crew took exceptional care and attention to packing, moving, storing and then returning all our items exactly where they had been previously. In the numerous instances when I changed my mind about where couches or bookcases should go, they patiently moved things exactly to my liking all the while laying down protective blankets over our new floors. Their attention to quality and customer satisfaction far exceeded my expectations!

We used Modern Restoration when our house was badly damaged by a negligent roof replacement. Modern Restoration arrived at our house 24 hours after the damage was reported with an incredibly hard-working team at the ready. They carefully packed and inventoried individual contents (some that were damaged from roof water) from five rooms in our home. Each and every item was accounted for on the contents list. Even boxes of rocks and acorns that my young son had been saving in his room! They took our items to their facility for storage, and items that had been damaged were professionally cleaned (linens, drapery, etc.). Both teams of employees (both the pack-out and the move-back-in teams) were incredible to work with, especially the project managers for each team. Thank you, Modern Restoration, for being a bright spot during our disaster!

I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs emergency service packing up their things in a pinch. My dishwasher ran for about 10 hours and flooded my entire apartment. All of my stuff had to be packed up and moved so that they could rip up the old floors and put in the new ones. They did all of this so quickly and efficiently and when I called to have my stuff redelivered Andrew made it happen to get it done on the exact day I needed it. They took great care in wrapping all of my personal items. Excellent customer service and they do exactly what they say they will. Highly recommend!

In a time of deep despair, what a great team to have in your corner. David was the project manager on my project. David was reassuring in a calming manner. He walked me through the process and left no question unanswered. Then the team arrived. What a great team. They carefully wrapped each of my pieces. The team was conscientious and smart in the use of their time.I thought I could not be more pleased. Then my items were returned and David once again was the project manager. I was sure my items would be in disarray. No way! My homes contents were returned to their original positioning and luster. I was simply blown away by the level of detail.Actually the team organized my laundry better than it had been originally. This was a great experience of seamless actions after the devastation of a water damage to my home. Simply an incredible team. I would recommend this company. We had a water loss and Owen and his team were tremendous! They took very good care of backing out our furniture and replacing it back in the house in the exact locations after the work was complete. My experience was far beyond my expectations. The team was highly professional, caring and efficient.The leadership from Keon, project manager was outstanding. He led his team with respect and his sense of prioritizing was effective in removing, packing and overseeing all things removed from the home especially fragile items were taken care of. There was a true sense of kindness and sincerity from the whole team.When retuning all items we found everything in top shape. Every possible step was taken to safeguard and protect floors and walls . The whole team had endless energy to get the job done as quickly as possible. There is absolutely nothing pleasurable about returning home and finding that a section of your ceiling has crashed to the floor and water is gushing from the open cavity! Being that the culprit turned out to be a malfunctioning water heater which was installed on the top (3rd) level of my home, one can only imagine the damages I sustained.Since this review isnt about throwing my insurance carrier under the bus, Ill fast forward to the role Modern Restoration played in this saga. They truly were a God-send! From assisting me in staying on top of my insurance adjuster(s) to my pack out, they were absotively posilutely INCREDIBLE!I cant imagine ANYBODY being dissatisfied with Modern Restoration, especially if theyre fortunate enough to connect with Steven Choi and Keon Sims. They (both) are honest, mannerable, professional, knowledgeable and extremely thorough! On top of all that, they are punctual and pleasant to deal with.Its pretty amazing how quickly and efficiently Keon and his crew work, while simultaneously handling some of my most prized possessions with precision and the utmost care. These people are unreal.We used them because our rebuild company recommended. Ava is really nice to talk to - but they damaged our walls and our bed while it was in storage. Neither the company or the account manager want to take responsibility and despite photo evidence, they blame it as “pre-existing”. They won’t put us in contact with their insurance company and are handling our claim in bad faith. This is a packout company and I get it that mistakes are made - but stop penalizing people for the clear mistakes you made and just fix the problem.If you insurance or restoration company recommend - use someone else. These people are unreal!

After a disastrous basement flooding, these folks were a ray of light and hope. They arrived and immediately took over by moving and cataloging every item in a finished basement. Today, when they returned after the goods had been at their storage facility for 6 months, they placed everything back in the exact places. They did not miss a beat. Ive never been so impressed with a company or its employees like I have with Modern Restoration. This past weekend the water line in our fridge leaked for nearly 5 hours from our kitchen down into the basement. In less than 24 hours, an entire crew was out at my house (on a Sunday!) to pack up everything in our basement and dining room. They worked 2 days in a row nearly around the clock to catalog our belongings and pack up everything that had been damaged. They also boxed up and took everything that hadnt had water damage so Roto Rooter could come in and easily do their job to remove wet flooring, carpet, drywall etc. They were professional, fast and efficient. They took care of everything and we didnt have to do anything. Andrew, who was in charge of the project, was so helpful and patient and answered all of our questions. I cannot recommend this company more and will definitely suggest them to everyone I know who needs content & textile restoration in the Atlanta area!

TERRIBLE BEWARE OF FALSE ACCUSATIONS!!!I was referred to this company by someone. I contacted the company in December about storing my contents and spoke with Nathan. He was very pleasant and provided an itemized estimate to my adjuster who shared this information with me. I had to postphone the work being done in my home because my contractor at the time was not comfortable giving me a warranty on the wood I had wanted to use (hickory) because of a previous bad experience he had had as a result I decided to go back to the drawing board to find a new contractor and contacted modern restoration that my project had been delayed until further notice. Fast forward, I finally got a contractor who came highly recommended and that seemed knowledgeable on wood installation. I then got in contact with Nathan about a month ago to give him a heads up that I will be needing his services and also that there was a reduction is scope as not all the items in my home will be packed out. He told me that due to a reduction in scope the final invoice will most likely be less than the original estimate. I contacted my adjuster to let him know about the possible reduction in the cost of the workThey sent out Keon and his team and I have to give kudos where it is due. Keon is absolutely amazing and very professional. I will absolutely work with him again just not through Modern Restoration. The team got in that morning and was done with my packout by evening.The nightmare began when Steven Choi contacted me about payment. I was horrified that they were still charging the same amount of the estimate which had 4 employee allotted to pack out my items in 2 days (totaling 64hrs) when the pack out only took 1 day. I started asking questions because it did not make sense to charge for work that was not done. At this point Steven got abrasive with me accusing me of trying to negotiate the price. It was at this point I decided to put our conversations in writing and copied my adjuster on ALL correspondence so he would be in the loop. Basically all I was asking for is a revised invoice because the hours stated on the estimate was not the same as the actual hours worked.I left the email discussions under the impression that my point was understood when Steve responded that the billing department will be contacting my adjuster to talk about the final invoice.Needless to say I was absolutely horrified and terribly upset when I received an email from Modern Restoration accusing me of trying to negotiate the price so I can keep any remaining monies based on the original invoice. Mind you, my adjuster has been involved in this correspondence this whole time and is very aware that there may be a refund of monies since the scope of work had changed. I believe Modern restoration did not realize that I had my adjuster copied on all my emails.Attached is a screen shot that was sent to modern restoration falsely accusing me.I think it is imperative that the CEO and customers are made aware of how Modern Restoration will treat a client and make false baseless statements. I do not take this lightly as it is a false representation of my character.Needless to say the original estimate had to be adjusted. Had I not pointed it out, it would have slipped through the cracksMy items are currently in the possession of Modern Restoration and I have contacted Steven to let me know when he can come and get the monies based on the revised invoice. I have also requested that my items be returned on 05/17/2019. I would like to see how I get treated after this complaint and if I have any issues getting my stuff back. This is very unacceptable and I hope no customer ever has to go through this.

Having never been through a water damage claim, I was totally unaware of what was to happen or what to even expect.I received a phone call from Nathan Ammons of Modern Restoration the same day as the date of loss. Nathan assured me that his Project Coordinator, Keon Sims, and his crew would be at my home to handle the pack out the next morning.The level of professionalism and high standards was displayed by Keon Sims and his crew for the entire 9 hour duration. It was quite apparent that each and every member had been hand-selected. The care that was taken in the wrapping and packing process was nothing short of exceptional. The respect between Keon and his crew was remarkable They all worked together like a well oiled machine. Each member took pride in their job which is a great reflection of what the company stands for. It also shows how they treat their employees and that they realize that their employees are a direct reflection of them.The pack in was an equally impressive experience with Keon and his crew.On a scale of 1-10, Modern Restoration gets a13!!!

Seriously folks, I do not waste my time on writing reviews, if I did not feel that a company like Modern Restoration totally did not deserved a standing ovation! First the issue, water gushing out my garage for over 3 hrs and no one home, called Roto Rooter thinking it was water heater, nope, busted pipe from the toilet- clean water tho, thank goodness. With Roto Rooter’s connection to Modern Restoration, Nathan contacted me immediately and gave me reassurance that they can handle the job and quickly explained the process. At this point, I just needed help cleaning the water and helping me get my wet stuff out of the house. Nathan explained that his Project Lead and team would be out next day early morning to get started! Modern Restoration’s, Project Lead, Mr. Keon Sims was VERY professional, gave me realistic time of their arrival and assured me confidently not to worry becoz they were on their way to handle my situation! I quickly mentioned that my house had ALOT of STUFF in it.. Keon politely said “Ma’am we handle all sorts of jobs and will make sure you have everything organized, labeled electronically and will get an immediate report that itemizes ALL good stuff various damaged items to give to your insurance company”. With a constant, reassuring smile from Keon at that moment is when I knew I had a Winning company and not to worry! Let me tell you folks reading this something. When I say they were THOROUGHLY efficient, super organized, SUPER FAST, no matter how much “STUFF” you have, Keon and his awesome crew worked fast, focused quietly like how an effective & efficient team should work. They had my downstairs level completed, boxed, labeled and on the truck neatly in one day and left exactly like what their Project Lead Keon has stated 5pm. When they took their lunch break they did not go over the 1hr time and immediately got back into the rhythm of organizing, boxing, tagging and loading. I truly would recommend team Keon Sims and his dependable crew members to anyone! Honestly because of his thorough organizational system and the appreciation he gives and shows to his team by encouraging them and working along side them, Modern Restoration should be on ALL insurance companies TOP Preferred vendors list and not as word of mouth! After 30 years of residency, I never imagined I would experience a leak from my bathroom that flooded the back of my living dwellings. After the drying process, next comes the Restoration process. I have much anxiety of over 30 years from accumulated items. Overall this process has been stunning as well as astonishing, but at the same time enlighten and an exhilarating experience. I recommend you keep the items that you want on site, out of site, because when David Todd and his teams are on site, the process moves so fast and efficient, you will not know what hit your psyche. Disappointed in service received due to water damage. Had no knowledge this company was going.to be packing up contents of our garage and taking to there facility in suwanee. May of the contents that were packed up and moved could have stayed in our house. Charge to insurance was excessive.
