This is my first time dealing with a somewhat major house issue. With that being said, the customer service from this company has been amazing! From Trish to Daria, and to our inspector Mr. Tim... Absolutely amazing! I thoroughly appreciated Mr. Tim Brown! He immediately had a friendly attitude and was respectful the entire time. He did our inspection and made the process extremely smooth and easygoing. His attention to detail and overall pleasantness was just superb! Its one thing to be great at your career, but it means so much more when you have a beautiful spirit as well. My husband and I want to personally thank Mr. Tim for his help! I had IDC look at my home when we thought we had a mold issue. The representative was very knowledgeable and thorough with his inspection. We were reluctant to not have the issue we were told we had by another company. We could have been easily mislead if we didnt call IDC. It would have cost us thousands of dollars. I would highly recommend calling IDC if you have any concerns about mold in your home.

Please dont believe the PAID 5 Star reviews on Google about IDC. This is the worst company you will ever want to deal with. They came to my house and tore down the floors and roof to secure the job. After tearing down the whole place, they told me they will come back and repair it. Its been 3 months and no one has shown up or even given us a cutesy call to explain why. They never pick up the phone or respond to text messages. All they do is inflate bills and dont do the job. Currently talking to my lawyers about possible actions to take against them.

My fireplace caught on fire and burned my attic. It was a mess. A friend told me about IDC. They did a great job. My insurance company tried to short cut the job. But Kris, Larry & Gary ask them to meet on site and review the damage. After that my home was repaired the right way. I would recommend IDC to anyone.

We had a water loss and were reffered to this Company. The guys came out and dried my home quickly Great Company Excellent Service.

A close friend recommended IDC in June when our house flooded from a busted pipe. Pretty much dealing with Kris from the start, he always kept me on the same page. He was a pleasure to deal with, and was always available and true to his word. All the guys were great. Larry, Gary, Phill, Joey, and a special thanks to Miguel and his crew. They went above and beyond of what I expected. The new floors upstairs look fantastic, and the entire basement was repainted and done well. Obviously having to move to a rental house for a while was an inconvenience, but I can honestly say I didnt have one negative experience in dealing with IDC. Thanks again Kris, youre a good man. Our home was hit by hurricane Zeta on October 29th and although we wasted almost a month waiting for this company to actually DO something, I believe we dodged a bullet in cancelling our contract when we realized that they just dont care. No return of phone calls or text messages, no timeline given for when our work would start, NOTHING. ZERO. Its unbelievable that USAA actually has them as a preferred vendor as they do not even come close to the standard I expect from USAA.Maybe they do a good job with fire and water restoration but with the amount of roof damage we sustained, Im glad went with a actual roofing contractor and not Ideals General contractor who would have subbed it out to who knowsAdded after this companies reply to my review:In response to your reply, LET ME BE CLEAR The storm that hit our home happened on October 29th at 4:30 am so you couldnt get even the date right. The tarps that were on our home were put on by our tree company and after Larry came and did his inspection, I told him then we needed another tarp. Days went by with no communication from him and we were about to get more rain so I called USAA and told them if we werent properly protected that day, our home would have more damage from the rain. THAT is the only reason you sent someone to add a additional tarp.I received my first phone call from DeWayne, who was to be our project manager on November 20th about delivery of a dumpster. Again, the only reason that even happened was because I was sending Larry messages asking what was going on and why we had no progress. Again, no reply from him but thats when DeWayne called. He had a bad attitude from the start and said he didnt know why they were delivering a dumpster to our home since you were no where near starting our project AFTER FOUR WEEKS!! THATS when I cancelled the dumpster and our contract with you. The company we have hired now were appalled when they came in and saw what we had been living with for 4 weeks. The Engineer, the Architect, and the Contractor all said the same thing. No reputable company would have left our home in this condition for 4 weeks. I dont know who is writing the responses to your negative reviews but you obviously have no customer service experience. Youve attacked every person thats written a bad review and tried to turn it back on them as if somehow it was their fault. USAA corporate has already received my formal complaint and to my surprise, I was informed that there is a petition to remove your company as a preferred vendor, which I have signed. They are listening.

Ive worked with IDC several times. The work is always very thorough. Elliot is very friendly and quick to respond. Id recommend this company to anyone in need of restoration work.

Due to 2017 hurricane, I had roof & den floor damage. First time, since home purchase in 2005, that I filed property claim w/USAA. USAA recommended Ideal Development Concepts, Llc. They came early afternoon & crew used to pack/store my furniture for my den, formal dining & office looked like they were day laborers. Therefore, I requested they use my (3-car) garage space instead of the $500 storage unit. They didn’t adjust $34,681 my insurance paid. Additional $500 for a boot for roof leaking later. They painted over dust after they installed flooring all through 3 rooms (open floor plan) damaged furniture, dump tools in backyard, carpentry atrocious, & littered nails in driveway. To top it off, workers that installed new roof left their open bed work vehicle in driveway over 2 days. Den roof they “fixed” leaked immediately, several times. Gary, the contractor, was rude and dismissive when I voiced some of these issues. Once check was cashed, he had his roofer (Carl:1 man 60-70s years old) walk off the job after failed attempts to fix leak. Their work went into 2018. I contacted COO, Jeff, about those issues & he was downright rude & refused to acknowledge my complaints. Nothing was resolved. In March 2020, I called about several loose shingles on the garage side of the house. They refused to honor their warranty & told me to file another claim. I had to call USAA before they would come out & they went to the chimney area because I guess they realized they never fixed it properly and said they found no problem. At the end of August, 2020, I called USAA about water coming in from same area that Ideal fixed and noticed a buckling of my flooring. Finally, on September 11, 2020, Alex ( new guy of 6 months) acted like he didn’t see beyond problems w/ water stains from chimney. Even other guy who came later acknowledged water above window frame, down into floor. After complaining to USAA that with all the rain, they didn’t fix anything nor tarp the area. On September 28, Carl showed up to fix roof. This time he called a buddy (not an Ideal employee to hold the ladder for him. Side bar, he fell off someone’s roof in 2019 & broke some bones. His buddy had to get paintbrush because he didn’t have one & he asked me if I had paint. He said not to worry about paint because someone will be coming about the moisture reading. September 29, 2020 Ideal employee came for moisture reading because Alex didn’t have equipment when he came at beginning of month. No work started & no tarp, but lots of rain. After complaining to USAA, they said they couldn’t force Ideal to honor its warranty but I can pay for 3rd party and they’ll reimburse me. They suggested a couple of companies and I went w/ American Leak Detection. Technician came October 12, 2020. Within 5 days he sent his report, which confirmed all my original complaints. I forwarded report to Ideal & USAA. I spoke to Daria (who said to refer to her specifically about issues). She said a tarp would be there next day. By Friday, October 23, 2020, no tarp so I put in another call to Daria who had them come later that day. Instead of putting tarp at bottom of chimney, they put it on top & there was a lot of rain & more damage. I called Daria on October 26,, 2020, but she was unavailable. On October 27, 2020, Gary, Alex, & Chris came to my house to probably intimidate me. Alex made a point of saying that Carl patched for free. He must not understand what a warranty is. Gary walked out after while in his typical walk off job attitude. Chris said he worked w/ companies like American Leak Detection & pretty much they don’t know what they are doing. Furthermore, I shouldn’t tell USAA about hole in my window frame. I told him that I’m very transparent & not only did I tell USAA about hole but had before & after pictures because their dragging their feet to fix warranty area, caused additional damage.

This is the best company ever! They were always there when we needed them. Gary, Joey, Freddie and Kris gave great service. The contents team was excellent! Everyone was kind and helpful through it all. If you ever have a fire or water loss call IDC. Thank youFred and Judy

Im completely satisfied with the work of the IDC team...from the initial consultations to the finished product, and everything in between. Everyone I encountered provided the highest level of service with not only quick responses, but some of the most polite people I have encountered.Having anyone else in your home can sometimes be a burden, but not with IDC. They were respectful of our space and time. If given the opportunity, I would not hesitate in reaching out to IDC in the future.

I highly recommend IDC FIRE AND WATER RESTORATION based on their professionalism and the quality of their work. Upon completion everything was exemplary. Clint and Andres are great to work with. They are very knowledgable and clearly explained everything they were doing. They are very professional and worked hard. They listened to my concerns and addressed them. When I had questions after they finishing the water mitigation they quickly came to rechecked. I definitely recommend Clint and Andres.

We decided to use this company as it was recommended by USAA, a company I swear by no matter the issues insurance related. Our septic system backfilled due to the exorbitant amounts of rain weve experienced this past winter/early spring. No issues with the septic system other than the drain field was overly saturated and was a gravity-fed system that couldnt push the water out on its own. One fine day in early March, the septic water came forth and flooded out through the toilet, tub, shower, etc...went through several walls into other areas. Recall, I said Septic Water, category III water. Here we are in April now, nothings been done, the CARPET is STILL in my house, mold detected under baseboards, outer wall insulation is compromised, but all this company estimated for was carpet replacement, baseboard removal, replacement and paint. No flood cuts on any wall, including exterior walls at ground-zero. Unfortunately, I tried numerous times to get call-backs from this company(specifically the damage/repair estimator assigned to our claim) to no avail, directed to speak with other people not directly related to our home issues and come to find out... They under estimated damages and repairs by nearly $30K. Even MORE mitigation and cleaning is required.So disappointed, let down, and can only feel they were in business to appease the insurance company and NOT the homeowners. You have no idea how angry I was at amount of work glossed over after CAT 3 Water INVADED our HOME! I will never, ever recommend this company to anyone...EVER. Their loss, I suppose.

. Our kitchen and the garage, located beneath the kitchen, flooded on a Friday night. IDC arrived early the next morning and began putting everything right for us. The water mitigation team worked quickly and did a thorough job drying the water. Everybody was so kind and sensitive to our discomfort over the flood. Once the house was dry, IDC packed our house and moved everything out. Again, a great, professional team.Our floors in the kitchen and the drywall in the garage are impeccable. Just beautiful work! I cant say enough good things about everyone that came in to our home during the process. I trust IDC and recommend them.

This is the best repair experience I have ever had. The work was excellent, the personnel were outstanding in their skills. Staff was personable, kind, cleaned up everything, on-time, careful to stay in touch by phone, and just the best. Id hire them again in a heartbeat!! They also stayed in touch and supervised all subcontractors as well.

A month after they came to partially tear out the floors because of water damage, we are still waiting for our new floor to be put in. 4 weeks has been way too long. Even after telling them we were concerned about our elder sister-in-laws with dementia trying to navigate the busted out flooring, no rush on their part. Meanwhile my house is a jumbled construction zone.Also disappointed that we had to tell the experts to come back and check for wet concrete under the cabinets. They found some, but did they do anything??? NO. Just tonight I had my husband bust out the floor in the pantry that they did not do so that we can get the floor to dry before they come out in 4 more days to start doing the new floor work. Needless to say, the floor was still wet as we are on a slab and there is felt and plastic on the slab that is holding the water. So we ourselves keep looking for places the water might be lingering. Frankly, I dont want them to come back and tell us that we have to wait another week for it to dry. Also disappointed that a quote on an upgrade on the bedroom flooring was much higher than other outside quotes we got. So I hope the final work turns out ok . I will report in 2 more weeks, as that is when they say it will finally be done!

They will come out and tell you that will email your proposal for the job. But this will NEVER happen. They came to my home and stated everything they would do, sounds great. After 2 weeks no proposal or call. I called and they said they would contact the adjuster and have him email the info. Never happened!!

It seemed a rather bleak day when my air conditioner overflowed the drip pan into the ceiling which thenrained on Oriental rugs and furniture in the living room; however, with only one call, less than two hours later, the IDC representative came and started the recovery process. I could not have asked for more pleasant, prompt and competent help. I would certainly recommend IDC when you need expert help and a smile to make things better. Elizabeth C.

So, I am at the beginning of this process and will update as things move along...My insurance company recommended IDC when I reported a new water feature in my kitchen. Within hours of first speaking with Daria (who gives an outstanding 1st impression of the company), Clint and an assistant were out to take samples (older home) and set up equipment to help with the drying. Once test results were back, Clint was out again. He and his assistant went right to work removing damaged ceiling, drywall, and cabinets.....unfortunately, the damage was worse than expected :( . If this had to happen, I am so thankful Clint was the guy IDC sent! First, he is so respectful and professional, next he is fast! Most of all, he was able to explain everything he was finding and keep me completely calm. Thanks to this young man, I know that this project will continue to move in a positive direction. While it may be more than expected and will obviously take more time-I have faith that I am in great hands!

IDC was fantastic re my water damage claim. They came out and professionaly mitigated the water damage (Clint and Andreas were meticulous and considerate while removing damaged property). The water damage removal was done so well, that I decided to use them to restore my unit (Joey is also fantastic). I feel comfortable and safe with them handling my claim, which is a huge relief considering that my unit had been damaged as bad as it had. They get and A++ from me.

IDC was on the scene the night of the fire to tarp and secure my house. They worked until the wee hours to get it done! Adrian Perez, Jorge, Ariel and the cleaning team put my mind at the ease by showing a tireless work ethic and disposition to please. They kept on schedule and even sent me email updates. They even put my m&m collections back on the shelves! I went from frantic to pleased to satisfied! The house fire was traumatic - the repair and restoration was not! This company is Aweful! If there was a Zero rating thats what I would give them.They do shabby work. They never come when they say theyre coming to your home. Never return calls. Make promises they never keep. Please dont sign any checks from your insurance company before they finish all of the work on your repair. You will be left in the wind with substandard work and multiple repairs still needing to be completed. I learn my lesson with so called IDC company, you have to work fulltime on just trying to get them to do the job you are paying them far. If your house ever experience fire or water incidents DONT CALL IDC!The worse experience I have ever had with a repair company.Run people run...

I would not trust this Buisness, the driver tried to run me and my kids off the road in a school zone!!! I had a baby on board sticker on my car but that didnt stop this horrible driver! If this company doesnt care about the Well being of others they certainly dont care about your home.

We could not be happier with our new kitchen !!! After our first contractor didnt show up our friend recommended IDC & we are so glad he did!! Their work was amazing, they scheduled everything perfectly and worked around our hectic schedules. We were so proud to show off our new kitchen at our daughters recent graduation party & enjoyed all the compliments!! In an emergency that destroys your home and your belongings you will want IDC to come in. They had fans in our home asap after calling them. The restoration was done with complete professionalism and care for our contents. They met their timelines for us and kept us updated at all times so we knew what and when things would be done. In 2013, Ideal Development Concepts was the contractor hired to replace my roof. Three years later in April 2017 there was damage to my roof due to high winds. My insurance had an estimator to inspect the roof and it was determined that the portion damaged was improperly installed. When I contacted the contractor I was told the warranty had expired even though the shingles were improperly installed and they did not share in the responsibility to repair it. This is unacceptable. Customers be ware of this company. Going forward I will be sure I am aware of the warranty rules, also I will not do business with this contractor in the future nor will I recommend them to anyone.

IDC stands for I Dont Care.. and trust me, they Dont. The pictures on their company website is all office personnel and staged. They allow underage drinking at company events. Their employees are not appreciated. They inflate costs of insurance losses and do poor work. Unethical, lousy service. They Dont care.

Please do not use this company if you are looking for quality materials and warranty guarantee. IDC will find on their behalf not fix anything after the sale or money exchange,so forget about a 3 year warranty after they get the money. This business will place inferior products in your home with inflated charges.IDC took too long to start work and will put you off with no regard to the inconvenience. Theyve placed inferior quality flooring in my home after a water flood and now all we do is slide and fall on the garbage and they refuse at every request to rectify this issue. The cabinets are flimsy. Jeff A. could careless about our endangerment or safety. In fact he will either ignore you or all together deny any responsibility. He is very argumentative too!Another contractor came in my home and took one look and said the flooring was complete cheap slick garbage asked who installed that? He also said he would advise me to remove it as soon as I could.The floor and cabinet installers of Hispanic decent were honest hardworking good people doing the best they could with that had. However, there was one lead guy they sent here to my high on drugs and the help for him was drunk so I know there cant be any drug testing. The lead was loud obnoxious & belittling the Hispanic guy and redirecting the other drunk cousin to his assignment. It was a terrible day and couldnt wait for them to get out.I even had one come in my home with blatant racism spewing from his mouth as he talked about a ticket he got from law enforcement. Why he divulged this, I dont even know....weird!That really should of been my cue to walk away from the beginning because that conversation made me very uncomfortable.My thresholds were not mounted right and weve been tripping over them, I can only imagine what my cabinets and flooring will be like if dont remove this materials soon. Dont waste your time, money or mind dealing with these people, my stress level has been enormously high. My body hurts from the continual falls and my insurance company will be probably all too delighted to pay guests that fall too on this flooring that I could be sued for.I have learned a valuable lesson from this monstrosity of a business and I would advise you to look elsewhere before ever considering them. **Consider yourself warned great folks!

For a company that does water repair damage they caused thousands of dollars of damage due to improper plumbing causing several (7 leaks so far) causing mold to grow floor boards ceilings and basement. DONT USE THEM PLEASE

IDC was identified through my insurance company. I was matched with the worst Project Manager ever (I do PM for a living myself). He would constantly lie about the status of the project, show up late on scheduled worked days, and overall just unprofessional. Several people came in and out of my house to assess the work to be done, a new unidentified person each time. I was told the 2month wait to fix 3 stair noses was because its construction and materials have to be gotten (All products that can be bought directly from the shelf at Home Depot). Finally 2 months later on the day the work was to be completed, he showed up 2 hours late with another guy I had never met before and then left 20 minutes later saying the guy was going to buy materials....I complained to the Manager previously and he continued to allow the unprofessional PM to manage the project. I reported that I no longer wanted them to work on my insurance job because I did not feel safe or comfortable with giving them access to my home unaccompanied. I asked for an updated estimate to be submitted to insurance, however there seemed to be an attempt to commit insurance fraud when an estimate with over $2000 of incomplete work was submitted to my insurance company for payment. I had to submit email correspondence to support the fact that no one did the work as claimed. A total nightmare.
