Staff was friendly. I was looking around for colored pens & pilot pen ink refills. A bit pricer than shopping from online retailers, but clean & organized, and I dont dont have to deal with the disorganized chaos of that other major retailer, lol.

I shopped here for almost 2 years consistently buying documents and printouts for my business. Then they decided to change everything and make it more difficult. They utterly refuse to help in the way that they used to. Customer service has gone way down!

Absolutely a waste of time, doesnt having anything in stock, computer read 5. nothing upon arrival. Should just close the store.

I have used the store at Bell and Grand for my work supplies and all of my laminates as a football coach on the side for the six years I have lived in Surprise. Today was my last visit to Office Max period. I drove the 15 minute run to get some laminated for our football practice tomorrow and the store was near empty when the gal advised me she was too busy to get them done today and I had to leave them. That means I am expected to make a second trip there tomorrow between work and football. Not gonna happen, I will take all of my business elsewhere even if it is a longer drive. I only needed about 4 laminates and I cover a lot of ground in my day job so I am out of here.

I went in and had help from Nick. Super nice guy, helped me with any question I had. Great experience.

Print shop is over the top helpful. Ive been there at least a half a dozen times to have books spiraled and/or items printed and every trip has been a pleasant experience. Ive even had a clerk offer to do a rush on items even though the error made was my fault.Great service, thank you!

I made a trip to this store to have my laptop screen repaired, which their website clearly states that they do. When I got there I was told that they do not do laptop screens. Complete waste of my time!

I went to fax some papers and the price to fax is nowhere posted. I asked the staff for help to send out the papers and no one helped. Once I figure it out and finish faxing, I go to pay and it costs $20 for 9 pages. This is beyond ridiculous because they are not wasting materials or providing any kind of service other than having available fax machines. I am seriously annoyed with the cost.

I needed to fax papers and when I ask for help from the employee she told me read the directions. I was still having problems with their fax machine. My husband and I followed the directions on the paper and the fax machine still wasn’t working. My husband ask the employee if she could help us multiple times and she refused and didn’t want to get up from her chair. This place has awful customer service, their employees are lazy because we ask more than one employee to help us and they didn’t. I won’t be returning.

The Worst Luck? I dont think so. Its called dropping the ball, again and again. Now I have to settle for improperly printed materials, because the Print Dept. cant print and cut business cards in the store, that I designed using the Card Designer software on their computer... in their store. They have to be sent out taking 3-5 days! Explain that one.

I just wanted some Basic Business Cards,not even in color.The Color copier was down AND the Card Cutter was jammed..you were to wait until Monday or drive over 7miles to another store...Hhmmm, I will go elsewhere.

Have gone to the store several times ( 137222 W.Bell Rd. Surprise,Az. )for help printing and as always,amused by the young girls who just grin slyly when surrounded by aLOT OF SENIORS on meds and easily confused by copy or fax machines.Today a young woman WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO HELP ME AND WAS VERY COURTEOUS. These days...in the era of non stop electronic social media sites and instant gratification,it is nice to bump into someone whoseems to understand face to face communication.Aside from being super friendly and helpful,if I was 120 years younger...Id ride my bike back and forth in her driveway to get her to come out of the house.Go in...say yo,Adrienne .

There return policy when something breaks is absolutely pathetic. I was asked if i bought the insurance when i bought the computer desk. Why? Do they expect there merchandise to break so easily? Buy your office furniture at some other reputable establishment where they give you 90 days no questions asked return policy.

I ordered the next day business cards because I needed them fast, I expected that they might not be as nice because theyre made in store, I told them what I wanted which was my company logo on the front with the logo to fill the entire area meaning as large as possible but what I got was tiny stretched out logo and it just looks terrible, since I needed them that day I did not want to wait for new ones so I ordered some to be sent out for printing but the woman was very rushed and told me shed call me to take the order because she had other customers (am I not one?) This was for a new order. My husband has ordered copies of blueprints and they have also messed that up, I usually come here because its close to home but I think I will try another place as I think they need to work on their customer service and printing services.

I bought (2) HP Laptops at the store, on 3/22/2020. The Store Manager would not honor my 20% off coupon.

Nice looking store on the outside, but the inside is another story. The carpet stunk, and was in serious need of a shampoo. The fake music thru the intercom was painful to take thru the muffled speakers. The whole store is in dire need of a remodel. I went in there looking for a USB Type-C storage device for my laptop. Spoke to an older lady that didnt have a clue what I was talking about. She pointed me down to a row of older USB drives, but half the slots were empty. Off to Best Buy I went. Been to many other OfficeMaxs in the valley, but sadly, this one didnt hit the mark.

This place has gone to hell in a hand basket. I walked in passing (2) two greeters. Both saw me and one said hello while the other elderly man pretended that I was not there. I proceeded to locate my AT-A-GLANCE academic calendar and to my disappointment, it could not be found. The inventory is lacking and poorly organized. The entire store looks like a struggling swap meet and will not return again. This store needs to close down as its a waste of space.

I went into the store around 5:50PM with my son on a Sunday afternoon to procure some Office Supplies for my upcoming school semester. I was checked out by an employee at Register 3. As soon as I arrived home I examined my receipt only to realize that the employee charged me for two additional items that werent in my bag! You have got to be kidding me! I would hope a condition of employment would be to have some integrity! Clearly, a quality the employee lacked today as I only had 6 items! Needless to say, I will not be coming back here for office supplies again.

My experience in OfficeMax is well organized and it has the pen that I wanted to found easily like zebra delguard, uniball kuru Toga, and the zebra sensations fountain pen. This should be the great place for buying school supplies for back to school.

This is the reason all are office supply store are going out. Bad to nune at all customer service. The selection or lack thereof is pitiful! Then the prices that theyre asking for are horrible! I am more willing to wait 3 days for Amazon to give me what I was looking for for free shipping then they come back into another Office Max and give them $3 or two minutes of my time! Their print shop is a it is a joke. They claim to do everything in-house. But go through a third party vendor to do it does not make sense shall we say lying on advertisement. Do yourself a favor by it online!

Is it just me or the internet connection here is pretty bad and slow. I tempted to print documents from my phone via self service and no go. I was advised to go outside and try sending the documents; And i was told by another employee to go to starbucks nearby and try from there. Needless to say, a waste of my 20 minutes trying to print a document.

Whenever I walk into Office Max I cannot walk 10 feet without their helpful staff asking me if Ive found everything I am looking for. I have also been using their copy/print services quite extensively and they have gotten me through in a pinch every time!Bad news travels faster than good news...so just wanted to let my good news try to balance out a little of the bad reviews Im seeing on here. Everyone has a bad day sometimes, we never know the circumstances. Its our responsibility to be understanding and move through life in a positive way.Honestly speaking, I have had only good interactions with this business and they have shown almost and over eager staff willing to help with customer service. I like to walk the aisles and look at all of the new stuff.Good job Office Max!

Computer repair is very good.

They always have what I need but the almost stagnant checkout clerks they have make me wish they had a self-checkout. No on in there was under 70yr old and it took my cashier 10min to cash out the woman in front of me and just as long to cash me out. I couldve been in and out in under 5 minutes had they had self-checkout. Seriously annoying how slow they are.
