I am a new customer. Called yesterday, made the appointment for this morning, got told my A/C needed service within an hour of dropoff and a few hours later, my A/C was repaired. TJ who was my contact on the phone and in person was very friendly and helpful and the technician got right on it. I would recommend Wilhelm to anyone looking for a good place to get your car serviced/repaired.

I made an appointment and arrived early. I was greeted immediately and started the process of dropping the car off. Had an alignment and an AC evacuation which turned into a system testing and fill. The called me with updates and findings They had the car for only a few hours. Good communications and professionalism. New to the area, so this might be my go-to shop.

Needed a last minute oil change, they squeezed me in first thing the next morning and got it done very quickly. Jacob was amazing and so nice, definitely will be coming back for any my car needs. 100% recommend!

I see a lot of great reviews, but unfortunately this wasnt the case in my situation. I took my girlfriends car here because of a rough idle that I couldnt seem to diagnose. They found the issue, but their repair fee was way too high. First off, the part was dealer-only, but it was a cheap part to get... yet somehow the dealership charged LESS to fix the same issue... dealerships are NEVER cheaper. On top of this, they also tried to sell us on a fuel system cleaning for $750, which is insane. All in all, it wouldve been around $350 to fix the one part (w/o the fuel cleaning), but the dealership charged us $287. They know what theyre doing when it comes to repairs, but I dont appreciate the high-priced add-on service they tried to add... or the dealer part somehow being a higher cost than the dealership. We didnt even need a fuel service, it was just a recommendation from the service manual for the mileage, but they never mentioned being able to fix the issue w/o the fuel service, instead made it sound like we had to do both.

Just moved to the area and found them by Google. Amazing customer service over the phone when calling to make an appointment. Once I arrived I was greeted very professionally and they had my oil changed within less than an hour! They even offered me a complimentary ride share to get home if I needed it. I will always bring my car here!

My wife’s Lexus has a slow leak with the air conditioning system that the dealership wanted thousands of dollars to repair. Wilhelms got the air conditioning working and added some ink to show where the leak is coming from at very reasonable price and fixed it same day first time I called. Cars break down and things need changed and when they do we’re going back. And they are so close compared to the dealerships. Thank you guys we appreciate it

Great services at Wilhelm in Surprise! Nice people. They kept me informed on the progress of repairs and offered solutions to a recurring problem we were having with our car.

I definitely like the wilhelm on Happy Valley better. The only reason I went to this is because they do tires. For everything else I go to the Happy Valley location.

Do not do business with Wilhelm Automotive. I purchased four brand new tires from Wilhelm as well as the tire protection plan. The tire protection plan was sold to my wife as an extra insurance policy if the tires were to get damaged, have a flat, etc.. if there was something wrong with the tire, theyd cover it. Additionally, Wilhelm claims that they offer a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty on services that they provide--however, after speaking with their staff and manager, it turns out that these warranties are bogus. One of our tires ripped at 2 years and roughly 25,000 miles and Wilhelm refused to honor this warranty as well as the tire protection policy because the rip wasnt due to a road hazard, which was never explained at the time of purchase, nor was it on the receipt. Good ole bait and switch tactics from a dishonest mechanic/tire shop. Take your business elsewhere folks

They have always taken care of everything my car has needed which has been substantial.They are reputable, courteous and been spot on with all repairs. They always stand behind their warranties. David, Store Manager, is awesome.Wilhelm will do everything they can to make your experience the best it can be. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for auto repairs! I’ve been using them for over 15 years!

Dave and his crew are great! They have kept my 11 year old car in great shape. I can trust them to do what is right. I love that they have a 3 year or 36000 mile warranty on parts and labor.

Took my daughter’s car in for an A/C estimate and I figured we would get the oil changed while they were at it. For $80, you would think that they would remove dirty rags from the cab and reset the maintenance light. As for the A/C estimate, a $3500 price tag. I’m not saying that isn’t a legitimate price, but we will be getting another opinion since the car isn’t even worth that much. And we will be taking our vehicles elsewhere from now on.Update: Took it to the Toyota dealership and got the A/C repair done for $2100. Always get a second opinion on a big repair.

It turned out to not be my axle but my transmission. They called around trying to locate another and in the end, they charged me nothing. These guys are awesome. Is not my first time using them and would highly recommend them.

I was charged $57 for a tire that was warranted to be mounted dont think that was fair you just lost a customer

Called about a quote and stressed to who I spoke to about what was needed multiple times and he kept saying yes yes. After I drop car was called almost immediately and was told the part I was quoted was wrong and correct part was $300 more. This was why I stressed on the phone. Anyways then when I get vehicle invoice kinda blank. Asked was refrigerant oil added and was told yes we added dye to the system....... Ok but oil??? Yes we added dye. So I was forced to leave wondering. The work they did was super fast so that was awesome. Just wish they would be more informative and maybe listen a bit to the customer vs in such a hurry. Only other issue is man oh man do they mark up parts like crazy. I suggest seeing if they will let you bring your own. Wish I was not in a pickle in this scenario. Do not plan to go back. Fun side note. They told me what I called the part was wrong. So that why the confusion on the quote. Yet on the invoice they called the part what I had stated. Again more concern on ethics in my opinion.

I like this place they are honest and don’t get over on women I bought a pair of window wipers from them and came told a guy they weren’t working right just on the driver side he tried to bend it to make it work that didn’t work out I ended up having to buy new ones someplace else I went back to Wilhelm for something else told them about the wipers and they credited me my wipers

My appointment was at 2:00. I got there at 1:50. I finally left at 3:15. I was told it would take 45 min-an hour. I dont know how it can take a trained mechanic that long to change oil and rotate 4 tires. Other than the time issue, everything else was fine.

Always quality work/parts. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They only suggest needed parts and services and never sell me what I dont need. I appreciate that. Today I was 1/2 hour late for an appointment, but they worked me in anyway. With what I am sure was a smile beneath the mask! I recommend them.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY GOOD REVIEWS ! Took my car to get a diagnostic done, told them exactly what was wrong with the car but they didnt listen. instead they took less than 30 minutes to run a diagnostic tool( the same one you can get done for free at any auto parts store) and told me about problems i already knew i had. Then they proceeded to lie about the fee for diagnostics being included in anything that needed to be fixed. If you dont care about money or getting the truth about what needs to be done to your car this is the place to go... BEWARE !!!

The check engine light came on recently in my 2012 VW Beetle Turbo. Ive used Wilhelms before and was generally pleased with outcome. This time, I was a bit shocked that the diagnostic for check engine was $149, but had them check anyway. Total amount for engine repairs was $1400. Wow. The work needed to be done, so I bit the bullet and got it done. Still a fan, but pricey.

Wilhelm Automotive provided my wife and I with excellent service. Jim kept us informed during every step of the repair process, and I really feel like he cared about our problem. We needed to have our transmission replaced, and they gave us several options to choose from at different prices so that we could find the option that best fit our situation. After our most recent experience we will be bringing all of our vehicles to Wilhelm from now on.

Great to do business with! They do not try to up-sell you on things you do not need and do recommend what you may need. TJ explains everything clearly, he even put a coupon discount on my bill that I mentioned when making an appointment but I had forgot to present it. I was going to wait for my car but TJ said it would take a few hours and offered to call me a ride, next thing I knew Lyft pulled up to take me home and no cost to me. I will definitely continue to do business with them.

This is probably the best shop I have ever been to. Everyone there is great. We had our engine replaced in our ford flex and it took less than a week from pricing to getting the job done. They did a great job on the car and went above and beyond with customer service. Any repairs I cant make myself will definitely always go to them.

I will still use you to service my vehicles. However there was an incident a year or so back. I brought my truck in to fix a problem with the power window. I had ready pin pointed the issue which was a broken wire in the harness in the drivers door. The tech agreed but said he still had to charge a diagnostic fee. While I understand I believed this was not fair. He did a great job on the repair and it still works.

Took my Dodge ram Cummins diesel for a check engine light. They thought they had discovered and fixed the issue but there was an oversight on one of the codes (which is rare). When we brought it back the following week they took it back and offered a rental at no charge to us, regardless of what they had to do. It took another two days but they finally had it fixed at no cost and the amount of integrity they displayed and the service they provided to us was unmatchable. I highly recommend anyone taking their diesel to wilhelm owner and the mechanic are phenomenal.

I was having problems with a sound in my Jeep and due to moving to Surprise, AZ I didn’t know where I could find a reliable auto repair shop. Just by chance I found Willhelm in Surprise (had used one in Peoria and Phoenix) so knew they were reliable. Doug got me in right away and said he’d have his mechanic check it out. It was later in the day so I needed to leave my car there. He called Lyft to take me home (a courtesy). Doug was great with keeping me updated. Because he needed to order parts I needed to leave it overnight. Everything was repaired the next day and then again Doug called Lyft to give me a ride. I definitely would recommend Wilhelm to anyone needing auto maintenance and repair.

Awesome service! My vehicle had a minor break down while on my way out of town, and they were the closest Auto Shop. TJ and Dave were able to get it all fixed up for me in just a few hours and I was back on my way!!

I called with an electrical problem on my chevy malibu and they were able to get it in, ran a diagnostic, discovered the problem, ordered the replacement parts from the dealer, fixed the vehicle all in the same day. My vehicle was disabled and fixed within one day. Will definitely use these guys in the future when needed.

Coming off a 12 hour shift, I blew a tire in the middle of nowhere. I limped it into this facility before they even opened for business for the day. Before they even officially opened, they cordially invited me into the office, Got me a good deal on a tire, and provided me a Lyft ride home and back.
