We used New Joy Moving Company multiple times as we need to move around our various houses in bay area. The team Teacher Li, Master Hao and Master Lin did fantastic job. They arrived 20 mins earlier to get ready. They put protective rags around the house and wrapped everything nicely compact. They loaded and unloaded everything really fast and drove around three different locations without stopping. They are truly professional and exceeded my expectations. I will recommend to anyone who wants to move and get the job done hassle free.

A bit skeptical in the beginning, cause my impression is Chinese moving company is all about cost saving. Until my neighbor used their service and I got a chance to learn they pay a lot of attentions to the details, and they are quite professional.So called them and scheduled the moving date.They did a great job. Wrap everything tightly, being very careful and very professional (they know how to wrap/handle different types of items) and they use the lifter with rubber treadmill that will protect your wood stairs. See how they wrap the upright piano.They also did work very hard the entire trip, and only took 15mins lunch break during a 6.5 hours scheudle. (start from 9 and end around 3:30).Definitely recommend to everyone.

I message Helen using wechat and she quickly confirmed a time slot that is ideal for us, and sent a confirmation including date time rate and all the info I needed. The day before the move, I received an text message confirming the move, which is very rest assured. The team arrives 20min early in the day of moving and quickly set up some carpet and cardboards in the house for protection. The two movers, Ben and Su were super professional, fast and very good at moving large furnitures in a narrow stairway. They are focused on their work, and never complained. At our new place, Ben and Su always ask us about where and how do we prefer to locate the items, and then got right to it. We have tons of stuff and filled up the whole truck. They took six and a half hours to finish all of them that could easily take 10 hours if it werent them. We got a phone call afterwards for service survey showing that the company really cares about their service quality. I have to say I strongly recommend this moving company! And ask for Ben and Su if you could when you book!

I observed the movers at the Santa Clara Square Apartment Complex and was impressed with how they communicated and carefully stowed furniture into the truck. I was also amazed at how professionally they dressed! Within minutes, I requested their services. Nothing was considered overwhelming for them. Initially, we planned to move our dishes and other delicate pieces. It didnt take long for me to turn to them and request that they take everything and anything. Timeliness was the best Ive ever experienced: 4 hours to clear one apartment and unload at the new location almost 10 miles away. Nothing broken or damaged! Thank you!

Arrived hours after the scheduled time window. Snapped the legs off of one desk by heaving it vertically onto the hand truck as I watched, breaking off half the screws in the holes.To make it worse, the movers insisted on an on-the-fly repair and hastily re-installed the leg by re-using the remaining screws. The heavy desk was left in an unsafe configuration and fell apart when I started setting it up the next day.To address the issue, they offered to send the same movers to come repair the desk. I declined as they had already proven themselves to be poor carpenters. After bouncing around several managers, who didnt seem to be able to track down the paperwork for the move, they sent me a $60 check, paying for damages by-the-pound.(Also, later I discovered damage to another desk, but less dramatic: screws were loose, but not stripped.)Everything else was moved fine. These guys just dont seem to know how to handle desks or paperwork. Overall, not a very joyful moving experience.

They made moving so easy for me.First off, booking them was super easy, just texted them; and during the move they take all necessary COVID safety precautions and are super careful of the building and my stuff. Frustrating and stressful experience.- Started the day at 7:30 AM, an hour earlier than scheduled because they woke me up and said that they were already outside.- We couldnt communicate at all because they didnt speak English. This was so stressful because I had everything in boxes, but was hoping that they could help packing up my fragile glasses and dishes. After texting the manager for a translation, they said that they could help packaging only if I provide them with wraps and boxes..- My move was to San Francisco from South Bay, which took me 45 minutes to drive, but took them 30 slower, even though we started driving at the same place, at the same time.They charged 4 hours (driving to SF included) + 1 hour empty truck + tips for a simple 1 bedroom move (I didnt even have living room furnitures or anything that needed dissembling/assembling).

Joy moving company did not disappoint us. My brother family in bay area moved last week after the bad weather made them difficult to move, especially the truck cannot backup to the driveway, the movers tried a couple times to pull up the truck but with no luck, at last they used carpets and wood to help. They struggled for over 30 minutes until finally they get the truck up. We are glad they tried their upmost effort to do it and did not charge for the extra time. Total ignore all the HOA rules and regulations, what they did totally embarrassed us in front of HOA managers, got us fined by HOA during the move-in day7. Broke several furnitures and forced us to throw a cabinet away8. Pass the buck for all the chaos they have created for us9. After taking the cash with FULL PRICE (including all the time they have wasted and ignoring all the troubles they have caused), manager promised to investigate issue but NEVER NEVER NEVER came back!Please stay away from this TERRIBLE company for your own good, especially my Chinese friends!Thanks to their service, I have thrown away many furnitures after this move, see photos for some of their works.
