Incredibly happy with their service. They arrived on time, were professional, ensured all of my furniture was wrapped and protected properly and handled everything accordingly. Once they arrived they did not stop working until the entire move of a 2 bedroom house was complete. They worked at an incredibly fast rate, were very friendly and ensured they did everything we needed and wanted them to do. I highly recommend their services!

We used these guys for our house move and they provided a great and efficicient service. We had three men, two vans. Quoted very good price which they stuck to. I got quotes from many movers through Yelp and other sites. Finally, I decided to choose this company. The manager was super responsive and helped with adjusting our quote. He got to know much of our new building. The staffs were doing well in protecting our furniture. we tipped $40 per person for about 3 hours work. I would definitely use these guys again.

Great service. I got quoted for a local job within Sunnyvale for $270.00 and for 3 hours. Extra $60 on the piano. They didnt charge anything extra except tips. No gas fee, no travel time fee what so ever compare to other quotes I got, the rate is very reasonable. They do have an expected tips but that is okay as all the prices are upfront and it is hard labor on a hot day. The movers were great and professional, it took an hour longer because my piano was very difficult to move out of our apartment and the elevator got stuck :( but at the end of the day the service was awesome. It was fast and done very professionally, the movers I had; Lee and Jin were great. Over all I had a great experience, the dispatcher was in contact with me during the move and helped out with any issues that arose. I would recommend Joy movers to others.

They promise anything to get your business, once money is paid, nothing gets done.I used them for long distance shipping, they guaranteed everything. As soon as all my packages were shipped, they told me that they had issues reaching the destination, they eventually dropped my stuff in some other place and gave me a phone number to call to solve the problem by my own. When I complained, they said we tried out best to help you! I ended up spending a lot more to get my stuff to the final destination.Stay away from this company!

We had a great experience with these guys.I was a bit of a challenge when I made the booking but Tori was very patient and we got through it.I had booked one man with the van do it would transport my husband and I to our new home a swell. We had no problem helping with the move as we didnt have a lot.On the day they were over an hour late due to a) motor difficulties then b) traffic - which caused a little bit of stress as we had deliveries arriving on the other side.And they told us when they were on their way there were 3 movers so the job would go quicker.This meant we had to change our plans and find our own way over.These are the only reasons why I would have given 4 stars instead of 5.But the service made up for all that.The communication was excellent throughout the day and I was kept updated to where they were which was very helpful.The guys were very professional and helpful, offering to help with putting down a large rug.They were very pleasant to deal with.Would I recommend? Definitely.Will we use again? Absolutely.

Called them on short notice. They were very accommodating and once they showed up, the professionalism just went through the roof. The two movers were quick, efficient and very friendly. We had originally said a couple heavy things and a few boxes but ended up with enough to completely fill their truck. They still did it in amazing time and didnt complain when we added more things to the list throughout. It was really amazing to watch the ease with which they handled a couple of the (seemingly) more difficult pieces of furniture — like a large bookcase fitting into a room around a tight corner. Kudos to Joy Moving!Oh, and did I mention they were affordable? Would highly recommend.

Confirmed to schedule a moving on Saturday afternoon. I planed everything around this schedule. But in the middle of the week, that I was told they are not available at that time. I was super mad since all other plans need to be changed. The customer service makes excuses saying there are two other customers before me so that they cant guaranteed the time. Poor arrangement and no apology. Never gonna use their service again.

They would charge for lunch breaks. One bedroom move took four hours but I expected it to be done in 2hours.

Scheduled them for a 1br size move, showed up for the time window requested, they had all the padding and packaging materials needed to transport my furnitures safely and they got the job done in 3hrs. Efficient and swift at a reasonable price.

We moved some boxes and a couch from Seattle to San jose. We had a few issues with understanding the quote when our stuff was picked up and had some issues with our carpet getting dirty from the movers.Budget customer service was quick to respond and offered to have our carpets cleaned. Very impressed with the quality of customer service from the back office at Budget. We had some confusion at delivery in regards to a long haul fee. I reluctantly made the payment, but let customer service know I was not pleased. They again, rectified the situation and I was very impressed with the manner in which the handled it. Thanks so much for taking care of this.

They never showed up for my appointment, and when I called them they had no recollection of me scheduling it. After giving my information they were able to find the email exchange, but at that point all of their crews were busy and they couldnt accommodate me in their schedule. Terrible to do business with.

These guys were awesome! I was freaking out about moving because I have had some bad experiences with Sata Clara movers in the past, but they really blew away my expectations. They were super friendly and professional. I had my doubts when three skinny guys arrived at my door, but they moved my stuff like it was nothing (and I own some very heavy side tables and other awkwardly shaped furniture). I had them help me move from north San Jose to Fremont yesterday. They did amazing job disassemble/assemble my ikea bed sets, wrap my mattress and protect all my furniture extremely well and QUICK! They are extremely polite and follow exactly the way I wanted. Highly recommended them but please specify the movers you want. They are Mr.Shi(石) and Mr. Xu(徐)

Stole from USHorrible experience we had when we figured the 2 movers who came stole $1100 from my daughters piggy bank .. We found that few days after and we filed a police complaint as well with the Milpitas PD. I have used many movers till now but some stealing was new to us and I will encourage people who have used them in the past to recheck everything and if you find anything missing, please contact Milpitas PD.

We had the very worst experience with Joy Moving. They are the most unprofessional service provider I have ever dealt with it.I had booked their service a week in advance and had repeatedly confirmed the appointment with Helen. When the move day arrived, I kept calling them to inquire when the crew will arrive. They kept on delaying. They didnt even have to courtesy to call back and I had to repeatedly call them on my own. The crew was supposed to come at 5 PM. But eventually they came at 7:45 PM. To add on the misery, the crew couldnt speak in English at all, which made any communication impossible. Then the real drama started. We had already packed a lot of stuff on our own. But when the crew arrived at our apartment, they said we cant pack your kitchen as that will take a long time and it was already pretty late. When I called the customer service and explained the situation, the lady on the phone started scolding me instead. She said you should take care of kitchen, my crew can only move some furniture because its late. Talking to her made me feel as if Joy Moving was doing me a big favor and not giving me a service for which I was paying a lot of money. I was utterly stupified. I kept arguing with her that I had booked the appointment well in advance and its their fault if the crew came late. In the end out of desperation and helplessness, I asked her to communicate to the crew that atleast shift my furniture, if not the entire apartment. Much to my utter surprise, the crew had left the premises on their own without saying a word to me. And such was the rudeness of the lady on the phone, that she hung up on me, instead of solving my problem. I had to eventually shift my entire apartment on my own in U-Haul the next day. I strained my back in the process, damaged a bit of furniture but I had no other option at that point.I feel so cheated and frustrated as a customer. Its a shame that such companies can walk away easily and treat customers with such disrespect. I wonder if their are any laws to prevent customers against such companies. JoyMoving represents everything that can be wrong in service industry :1) No respect for customer.2) Poor communication.3) Not trustworthy or reliable.The damage has been done for me. They dont even deserve 1-star. The only reason why I shared my experience in public forum here is that no other paying customer should get such a bad treatment from them ever again. If I can distract even 1 customer from using their unprofessional service, I will consider that I have paid forward.

I need to move the studio furniture from SF to Dongwan. They were very professional, made accurate estimates, and then confirmed all arrangements., On the day of the move, they wrapped the furniture in plastic in time and took apart a king-size bed. Then they quickly went to East Bay, removed the furniture, and reassembled the furniture in the new apartment.I highly recommend this company, they offer reasonable prices, and they made my move a great experience.

After making several calls, I finally decided to find Joy to move. It really didnt disappoint me. The price is reasonable, the service attitude is good, and the reputation is really good. It is completely different from the few I found before. Joyful transportation is really good, work carefully, patience is good, and people are very nice. If I want to move in the future, I will look for this one.

DO NOT USE THEM!!!! They sound cheap on paper but they would find ways to get more money from you !!! They would make the move slow on purpose so they could get more hours of it. Super disgusting moving company! I made an appointment for the 2 pm moving service. The result was only 3:10, and even if I was late, they stopped the new carpet and smashed dozens of black shoes. After asking them to take off their shoes and move them inside, telling them that there is still a lot of time, the workers are directly pretending to be dumb, I paid for 3 hours (minimum spending $70*3h=$210), they only used 1.5 When I finished throwing things in an hour, I opened a box of drinks on the way to unloading the goods, sprinkled a house of mucus, and the mover directly pretended not to see, neither cleaned nor apologized. The garbage company should be closed down!
