Tldr: Good Management, good Makeup class policy. Teachers care to engage and teach. My 4 year old is taking classes here. I have seen 5 teachers during assigned slot and make up slots and trial class. They go through same circuit in every class every time, but all of them have different style of engaging with kids.My kid is slightly less active, does only simple stuff in typical kids playing area, so we thought of getting some gymnastic training for him. We are seeing results. In my experience with other classes like Soccer and Swimming, I can see that kids will improve only slowly and incrementally, so dont expect magical improvement at this age.My kids first assigned teacher was not good, talked to the management about it via email. They heard me the next day over phone and followed up with me in next class. End result was very satisfactory. I did not see any problem with other (4 of 5) teachers, so I guess bad experience was uncommon and it was resolved timely and professionally.
Would give this place 10 stars if that was an option. The most kid friendly gymnastics place in the South Bay. My daughter has been going for almost a year and returned after the pandemic. The coaches are super friendly and fantastic, thhr staff incredibly professional with scheduling and registration. My daughter lives gymnastics because of this place. Highly recommend.
Good place for adult gymnastics, either beginning or advanced.
Teacher Michelle makes every week wonderful! My son cannot wait to go to class. We so appreciate how much she genuinely enjoys being with the kids and her respectful approach toward them. The new location is gorgeous, with plentiful parking. The only thing we miss is that the climbing ladder is no longer available for toddler use.
Great place for kids to learn some gymnastics and expend their energy. Takes good cleaning precautions during this Covid situation. Plenty of parking.
Very nice coaches help you improve and have fun.
There new location is fantastic. You can see the entire floor from any spot now. It doesnt smell too much like feet at the moment. They quickly filled up all the additional space and looks like they could even use more space. All the great teachers and staff are here and my daughter looks forward to coming every week.I wish they had a better waiting area. The cattle rush when classes are starting and ending is like a surging sea of adults bobbing on a wave of kids and toddlers. They need to get a bigger place.WiFi is strong and pretty fast to do work while waiting for class to end and there is a lone table that i can work from. Little win.
How often are the mats and equipment cleaned here? Just wondering since the smell of feet is so very strong!!! It concerns me with the large amount of people coming here and overall hygiene. Would like if the gym perhaps answered or posted this up somewhere.
BANNED - We visited the gym yesterday so that my daughter could say hello to her old teammates and I was told that our family had been banned from the gym due to the negative reviews we posted. We were told to leave immediately and that we were not welcome back. Both of our daughters were on teams at Gold Star for a number of years. One was on a cheer team for two years and one was on the artistic team for 3 years. We had an incident the cheer program where we felt it best to remove both kids from gym.
Classes quality so so. Some coaches just serving time.
The business is good about responding to customers.
This place is AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.I take adult classes here (Ive wanted to take gymnastics since I was a teenager). I started as a complete beginner, but there are people of all ranges of ability in the class. The staff is extremely friendly, and will work with you personally to train the skills you want to learn. You can pay on a per-class basis or buy a bundle of classes; either way youre not locked into coming to classes each week. You can also try out the class once for free.
I like it a lot, and I think it’s a serious institution. But I have two points that might be worth to consider.... some classes seems too crowded, which in my opinion might affect in part what the student gets from the class. The other thing is that some classes have a too wide age group in them. For example 6 and 7 year old kids mixed with kids who look more like 10 or 11, especially how tall the older kids are in comparison with the younger ones.I understand there are some waiting lists for certain classes, that makes me wonder if certain arrangements can be made in order to have kids closer in age per class.
Doesnt even deserve a one! The staff is rude and especially one fat woman there. Its also over priced compared to competitors. They think they can push people around. Lousy, lousy, lousy!!!
Top gym in the area for tykes through high school age kids. Good make up policy if you miss a class. Also a good venue for birthday parties for kids.
My kids love going to gold star. We had some confusion with the staff on the first day however everything was straightened out immediately. All staff are very accountable and our 3 children are learning new skills very quickly.
It is ok. We used to go there because of the lack of choice in the Mountain View...Now I prefer to drive kids far to the different city, for better training.Gym is oriented rather for fun. Overcrowded.Anyway, I plan go there for adult gymnastics class, and yes, because there is no choice, I dont know any other facilities in Mountain View that teach adults too.If I would love it, I will return and edit my review!
Love Goldstar & the front office staff is very nice. I like that they have a monitor watching the patrons/traffic in parking lot.
Great gym.. Looks like twisters sports! I have never personally been here, but my friend has, and they learned a lot.
Our kids enjoy it here. Most of their instructors have been professional and encouraging.
We had great fun for my daughters bday party gym session..coaches were very friendly and the kids had a blast
Great, friendly instructors. Useful flexible cancellation and make up policies.
I spent a summer here in adult class and it was a great opportunity.
Our kids like the classes and summer camp here.
Teach really cool things 👌
Very well run and professional. Kids of all ages!
I did not have a positive experience with the staff at the gym and the way they treated my daughter is not acceptable.
High quality instruction for kids of all ages. Gym can get pretty crazy after school.
Objectively the best rhythmic gymnastics studio in the NorCal
Really good instructors.
This place is really great!

Good instructors
Ideal for physical development, learning to control muscle and balance.
