Parking is abundant and wraps to the back of Safeway. Masks are required and staff monitor to ensure that it covers BOTH nose and mouth. I truly enjoy the staff here. They are super nice. Bobby, the manager is the best! The gym is clean and well maintained and I like the energy. There are 6 powerlifting stations to the right, 2 squat racks and 1 Smith machine to the left towards the front. 2 incline leg press machines and shrug/hack squat/deadlift machine nearby. A variety of the typical back/chest machines along with the typical Hoist tower station and 3 Life Motion arm cable machines. There are plenty of machines to target any body part. Pool, BB court and studio are all open. All cardio machines are upstairs and 2 stationary upright bikes and 2 Concept II row machines downstairs. Fitness trainers are in session with their own blocked off area

General Manager, Bobby Chioreon (hope I got the spelling correct!) is the best and the staff is amazing. There was an odd hiccup with my membership and although I was paid to date I showed as terminated in the system this month. Not only did Bobby attempt to address the situation immediately, he alerted his staff and placed a note in my file so I could still come to the gym. I had an issue with reactivating my account and a very nice lady on the phone told me that was not a possibility.When I returned to the gym Bobby asked how the reactivation went, I explained I couldnt and had to get a new membership. Bobby immediately got on the phone and within 24 hours I had the entire situation corrected and old membership reactivated.Bobby provided a level of customer service that I have never experienced. He could have easily moved on knowing that I had a new membership but he took the time to investigate and make the situation right. I cannot express my appreciation and gratitude for Bobby enough.I was going to pay the one month for the new membership and look for another gym. Now I am a loyal 24 Hour Fitness member solely due to the phenomenal customer service provided by Bobby.THANK YOU!!!

Recently the club manager has canceled Zumba class in the last minutes frequently. I hope they have a more responsible and professional manager to manage the club since this is a good environment otherwise

Front desk Joanna was rude! Ended up cancelling membership due to her inability to be professional and treating customers bad. Will not recommend going to this super sport in Sunnyvale. I wouldnt even call it a super sport. Some of the other staff were nice. But Joanna needs to go back to school to learn manners. Go else where!!

I had a very bad experience with 24 hr. fitness. I had an issue with my payment, I was wrongly charged for my membership during the pandemic when the gyms were closed. The front desk lady was very unpleasant. It felt like she dint want to help at all. The manager had to chime in and direct us to the customer service. We called the customer service, and the lady did not quite understand my concern either and kept referring to the company’s policy. I have wasted 30 min of my time and finally decided to cancel my membership. Not sure if it’s a good idea to be stingy for one month fee (during pandemic) over losing a member. Also, this one is pretty small and crowded, NOT worth your money.

I have been going to this gym for years now. Staff is super chill and very relaxed and easy going. Most of people are super easy to deal with. This gym has awesome team!!

A personal trainer Habib at the gym invited my girlfriend to meet him over the weekend, total lack of respect!now shes embarrassed and doesnt want to go to Sunnyvale gym so she doesnt have to see him again.

During pandemic they have charged multiple times ($51.99) based on my previous billing address information stating the gyms have opened and closed during COVID. How am I supposed to know? I don’t live there anymore. Bad customer service, both at the gym and call center. I have been member since 3 years and they don’t treat well, they only care about money!I joined CRUNCH fitness, it’s great and surprisingly way cheaper.

Nice, clean and fully equipped gym though its full on weekdays morning and evening hours and to have after workout shower you may have to wait for 15 mins. Loads of aerobic machines with different types which is great. And towel service is one big differentiator compared to other 24 hr gyms and other gyms in area.

Extremely happy that theyre back open. Staff are friendly and death list I on top of keeping things sanitize. Not too many people there so no wait for a machine necessary. Hopefully this trend continues and they can get in-and-out quickly lol but in all seriousness com a very happy that theyre back open and doing it safely

Best place and best choice I have made in joining this gym. Ive only been a member for about a month. I cannot emphasize enough on the professionalism with the staff and front desk. They are courteous, attentive, compliant with COVID-19, they always acknowledge you when you enter and leave and are very pleasant. They keep this place in tact. I cannot express how happy I am obtaining a membership. Someone I would like to praise specifically is team member, ROBERTO aka ROBBY! When I called amonth ago to inquire about enrollment, he was informative and patient answering all my questions. This gym is enormous, lots of equipment, many sanitation stations for your convenience around the gym, bathrooms are always clean as well as the common areas.One thing I would like to ask gym members, please throw away your paper towels after you wipe down. Just recently in the last 2 weeks, I noticed some members become very sloppy. I go to use the next machine and its almost been daily that I see members leave their used paper towels behind on the floor. We all use the gym bros, so lets continue to look after it and clean up after ourselves, this isnt your own personal gym. Next time I see someone leave their trash behind at their machine, I wont hesitate to let them know to pick up after themselves. Otherwise, thank you to all the staff at 24hour fitness who keep this place running smooth.

Can someone please tell me how anyone is supposed to know this is a super sport? It says 24 hour fitness on the front door, billboard, and google maps. I show up and they say I cannot work out here like I’m some kind of peasant. I just happen to be working in the area and it was convenient. I have a membership to 24 hour fitness, but someone could come here on a guest pass and workout. They couldn’t even just let me workout once. I live nowhere near here... I dislike 24 hour fitness for these reasons. I will soon cancel my membership and join another club that is a little friendlier. I hope 24 hour goes out of business and becomes LA fitness. LA doesn’t discriminate people like 24 hour fitness does.

I was turned away and told that they weren’t accepting free trials even though I had an email from 24 hour fitness. Other branch let me in. The manager was rude as well

Professional front desk staff, well-cleaned facilities, a healthy selection of weight machines, and a big well-maintained pool. Theyre doing the pandemic adaption just right overall-- i do feel there could have technically been a more effective way to space useable lockers though.

Im staying in this area for work for 2 months and I am very happy with this gym. Mario is amazing in the morning. The gym is always clean in the am. My first day here Mario realized I was new and introduced himself. He asked if I needed anything and then remembered my name each day after that. I work in hospitality and Mario is top notch. He remembers all the guests name and is constantly checking on people. Thank you Mario!

The operations manager at this branch (Justin) offered no helpful customer service to me as current 3-year member. I had a membership issue related to rising rates and he said all he could do was give me a phone number for a corporate office. He said he couldn’t adjust my rates and he hadn’t even looked into my account. I told him that a manager at another 24-hour fitness location referred me to this location to address my rate issue because it’s where I purchased my membership. Justin said the manager at the other location just didn’t want to help me. By giving me a phone number, it felt like management at this location didn’t want to help me either. This branch is indeed the location where I purchased my membership 3 years ago. At that time, a manager was eager to help sell me a membership and offer me multiple options. During this recent visit, however, Justin said his hands were tied by corporate structure when I wanted to discuss reducing rising rates. This has been a very negative customer service experience and I left unsure how much of this was due to a manager who didn’t want to deal with me or a corporate structure that makes it difficult for managers to provide good customer service to club members. Either way, I felt like I was being passed on to someone else and that no one was taking responsibility for customer service.

Great gym with really nice equipment. They have a basketball court and a swimming pool inside. Locker rooms etc. Gets really busy between 4:30PM-7:00PM. Go in the morning before 7am and you gonna have more space to yourself if you dont like waiting for equipment :)

I try not to interact with the staff if I don’t have to. Polite and professional etiquette is often lacking.“ hey, what’s up bud ... have a nice day bud... “ the guy at the front desk says to me in a loud and course way.So 24 hour Corp office doesn’t expect staff to be professional ? It just goes to show how the Corp office runs things.This facility is newer and nicer than the other ones. But I was surprised there was no steady hot water in the showers .

Like bathrooms are dirty and you will see shorts, soap scum, hair and all kinds of dirty stuff there because they are not monitored till the end of the night. Kids club works terrible. They always ask to wait for the second assistant for 20-30 mns when they are full. Why dont they have enough stuff to close the issue at the same time?Their advise for resolving is come earlier or come later probably its better not to come at all?Folks, I pay money for this service. Id like to get it in time. When I need it.So just 1 star. The situation happens again and again.

Machines and exercise facilities are pretty good. Equipment is usually dirty. Be prepared to clean them yourself before and after your use, or, wash your hands extensively...My biggest gripe is the mens shower. There is a seriously long line to get into the shower area. Woefully inadequate number of showers for the demand at peak times, and even non-peak times! At 8:00AM you can stand waiting at least 15 minutes for a shower. A non-optimal activity, especially since the corridor to the shower area is the same as to the pool. A cold wind usually blows in chilling you right after a hot, sweaty workout. Even at 10:00AM or 2:00PM Ive had to wait in line just to take a shower.I visit 24 Hour Fitness facilities all over due to my travels. This shower problem is unique to this facility. The general dirty equipment and weights are common to all 24 Hour Fitness facilities.

One of the nicest fitness facilities in the area with towel service. Tyler, fitness trainer, was super helpful and knowledgeable about anatomy, and able to tweak and troubleshoot in order for me to make the most of my time and avoid injury. This gym would be a 5 star if the floor in the locker rooms werent a sopping wet safety hazard in the mornings. Avoid high traffic times, parking is limited then.

If you want to get a good deal and good customer experience with 24 hour fitness, please go to the 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport on Fremont Auto Mall or any other. I tried to get a membership with the one in Sunnyvale and they just made it difficult, had these extra charges added to the bill, and the staff there was really rude. I went to the Fremont Auto Mall one and they really seemed to care about the customer on saving money as well as making the process super easy.

Excellent facility, everything is up to date, clean and nice. Only problem is that it’s pretty much always packed. I’ve gone at different times in the day and it always feels crowded. If you swim, there’s a strong chance you’ll be queued up waiting for a lane to open. There are a lot of cardio machines upstairs though so usually not a problem getting an elliptical or whatever.

Avoid this health club.Zero stars not available. I am a member of 24 in San Fran but my monthly dues apparently were not high enough, then the free use card I had from My hotel was not good enough but if I filled out a long form and got a tour I guess about joining I could maybe use the gym.Will quit membership back in San Francisco.Avoid this location and company, unless you believe customers should be treated horribly.

Disclaimer: Im not a member at this facility. I came here to take one class. I was a few minutes late and asked if I could join the class (which had already started) and pay for the day pass after the class. The girl at the front desk instead offered to ring me up real quick. I paid, then was directed to a monitor to sign the release of liability. I again asked if I could do this after the class, since Im already late. The gentlemen at the front desk informed me that I couldnt. So instead I spent the next 5 minutes clicking through some 20 odd questions about my fitness goals and which made me even later to class. The liability release also required an email account and a phone number. And the next day I figured out why - so they can call me and sell me gym membership! Suffice it to say its unlikely that Ill ever join the gym. I think Ill still take the class I like but just plan to get there 10 minutes early. Ill also know to give them a fake email account and fake cell phone number.

One of the best 24 fitness gyms. Other ones in the area suck! So even though this one is pretty far away - I still go here because its so much nicer. It sucks that the chain cant make all 24 fitnesses nice or at least with a towel service because its super inconvenient to bring so many towels with you and wash and dry them at home all the time. Anyways - this Gym is clean, staff is friendly, 2 different saunas - pretty good vibe. I come there almost every day. I recommend this one for everybody!

This is a good place. Usually clean and crowds are pretty predictable. Of course it gets busy during prime hours, but if you don’t mind adjusting your workout around a little bit it’s not a big issue. Staff has been very nice.

No longer Super: they down-graded their amenities by eliminating towel service. This isnt a nice-to have, this is what I look for, and expect, from an upgraded, more expensive club.Their Sunnyvale Sport club has about the same type of facilities and equipment, and even the Sunnyvale Active club offers similar, upgraded, exercise equipment that is fairly new. So eliminate Super in this clubs name, and reduce the fees to the Sport level.This 24 Hour Fitness club is no longer competitive with other upgraded fitness clubs, and the Bay Area offers a lot of alternatives to choose from.

I would give 0 star if I could. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE!!! Someone broke into my locker and stole all my stuff (around $4000) when I was doing my workout. Everything happened within one hour. Of course the staff can do nothing about it. Police said they got over 10 reports every week regarding this 24 and the one in Fremont, and they can barely get things back. The surveillance camera at the entrance is useless. Look at the previous reviews, apparently the thief could ask the front desk to help them open a locked locker, no id verification is needed. Someone even got his car stolen after key stolen from the locker. BE CAREFUL ABOUT YOUR BELONGINGS WHEN YOU GO HERE!

This is my favorite 24 hour fitness because of the cleanliness, the amenities, and the staff and especially the manager, Mario, he’s a great guy and a great personal trainer!

New resident, transferred from MD. I went online and printed out the “Three day last trial pass” and rolled in first thing the very next morning at 0530. Went to the counter, gym bag in hand and I greet the individual at the front desk, announce that I have the pass. Verbatim “Fortunately, I can’t activate your pass at this time”. Inform him of my situation and see if any other alternative available. Nope. You are going to have to wait until 0630 until my replacement comes in. Guess I’m changing in my office.

My standards for gyms are fairly low. Ive been to a few 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport gyms, and this is one of the better ones. I dont shower here, I dont swim here, I dont do personal training--I go for solo lift-based workouts and as soon as Im finished, Im out the door. Its clean (or as clean as it could be--unfortunately most gym goers Ive observed dont wipe machines after themselves, which is gross). The layout is one of the better ones and it doesnt feel cramped. Be wary that peak times start early and end late. Even at 6am, Im waiting 15 min for an Olympic rack.As far as robberies go, I always bring everything with me around the gym in my bag. Its kind of obnoxious, but as long as its out of the way, its a far better alternative to having your locker broken into.

Ive belonged to 24 hour fitness for years. Overall, its a decent place to workout. The staff are friendly, and its nice to have the towel service. The classes are pretty good, but like the rest of the gym can be pretty crowded.

Ive been the ​club member for 2 years.On Friday, ​ Dec 22th 2 days before Christmas Eve while I was working out at gym somebody in locker room opened my lock and stolen my jacket with my wallet included all my credit, debit cards, insurance card, 200$ cash for my birthday and my honor society card.My jacket was worth 250$ and I had my car key in my jacket which was hopefully not stolen. Im still waiting for the Club to call me back about further investigations and to give me a good news. It took me one week to report all stolen cards. Hope they increase the security.

This is a popular club so as expected it gets crowded during prime hours. Although it seems that the staff has a difficult time keeping the mens locker room and showers at satisfactory level, overall this is a very good workout place with a comfortable and friendly environment. Staff always greets people kindly and is very helpful. For a club this size and with so many members it offers legitimate top notch equipment, variety, cleansiness, and a good staff.

Ive been attending this gym for close to a year. Yes the place is new and for the most part the facilities are clean. Some of the equipment (including in the locker rooms) is malfunctioning or unusable and they take a while to fix things. Sometimes the fixes are just a bandaid and the equipment will go down again in short order. Despite the facility being large, it can be quite crowded. I have to echo some of the other reviewers on the professionalism of the staff. Many of the staff leave something to be desired, though, to be fair, a select few of them are nice. The other gym members are also concerning. On more than one occasion I have found people who dont know proper etiquette when using the gym and the aggression on display is disturbing. I would have to say that I am looking for an alternative at this point. A gym should be a comfortable atmosphere for working out in a timely fashion. This gym falls short on this goal and I would suggest considering alternatives.

The gym itself is very clean, as expected with most Super Sport locations. Good luck trying to snag a cardio machine upstairs. It was always packed. Downstairs, they pretty much have all the lifting equipment you would need. The only negative I can think of is the lack of space for mats to stretch and such.Ive gone to 2 spin classes on the weekend, and the instructor Michael was great. He did a good job of balancing out his class. He wasnt like a drill sergeant, but nor was he too soft on the class. Everyone seemed to stay pretty motivated. And the best part was that he played really good music.I would consider coming back on a regular basis to this gym.

This gym is NOT SAFE. There is a thief here and based on some other reviews I see, 24 hour fitness is doing nothing to solve the problem.I have only been a member in the gym for less than a year and I already regret going to this gym and even joining 24 hour fitness. Just a few weekends back, either a MEMBER or EMPLOYEE forced my lock open in the locker room and stole my bag. Someone stole my wallet and in it the credit cards, debit cards, insurance card, and cash as well. The thief also got my apartment keys and car keys.. They have CCTV footage of people in the hallways going in and out of the gym but no investigation is being done at all. When you lose your belongings here because there is a MEMBER or EMPLOYEE stealing in the locker room, they will not be of any help at all.Whats worse is that they influenced me when I was thinking of joining to enroll in the 1 year contract. Now Im stuck in this UNSAFE gym and I cant have any peace of mind knowing that theres a thief in this gym! 24 hour fitness wont let me cancel my membership without paying the penalty early termination fee. I just want my membership to end as soon as possible so I can leave and not come back at any of these 24 hour fitness gyms.The sales team will only tell you about the pros of this gym so let me share with you some cons which you will never hear them say. This gym is a lot of times too full. Expect a lot of waiting time between your workouts. Several exercise machines are not being maintained at all. Some have been shaky and not locked in place that well for a while now and theres no sign of them working on fixing them. The restrooms are filthy and smelly especially during the evening. The staff are often just huddled in the front desk like nothing needs to be done. Theyre really only there to entertain people buying something or getting new people to join.If you still want to risk it and go to this unsafe gym with thieves, go ahead. Im sharing these here to share my experience to warn others since this gym wont be much of help once they get your money.

Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room are maintained pretty well compared to SJSS by Bay 101. They are unisex though.Monday 1 pm yoga is available if you feel like practicing midday.

I like coming here in the early mornings before i go to work because its less crowded and the shower and restroom area is clean. Later in the day its crowded, its smelly, and the restrooms and showers are dirty and gross. The staff give an awkward vibe and they all huddle up behind the counter most of the evening when when the restrooms obviously need attention

Clean overall and positive atmosphere. Great equipment and I like the layout of the gym. Wish the protein/water/pre-workout section was more in my face to remind me I have options when I need an immediate booster or quick protein bar.

Clean operation and there are maintenance people who keep the place clean and dry. The sitting-waiting area (with TV) behind the front desk is great.Equipment are well maintain and they have a great equipment maintenance tech, who keep the machine in good running order.Just need to add more treadmill machine because it is always full, and add some or parking space because sometime I have to take space in Safeway area.

I come in, they hand me a Towle (not many do that) do my workout, sit in the Steam room, and Im out.

Often way too crowded. People dont honor work out courtesies and management doesnt enforce. Significant equipment breakdown. But generally clean, have towels ready to go and provide lockers with combination locks free of charge. The showers are nice and roomy. Trainers are really good with their clients even if completely disengaged with general membership. Front desk staff almost always welcoming & friendly & strive to say hello & good bye to all despite it appearing to be a corporate mandate. If you time it right when you can get in the workout you want, its better than many clubs in the area.

Unfortunately I no longer live near Sunnyvale to go to that specific location, but overall the staff is beyond friendly, the machines are always clean as you expect, the sauna and steam room are very well-kept and so are the locker rooms. Their personal trainers are always walking around and are very open to assisting you if you have any questions or need help with anything at all. I don’t think there has been a single time in the past three years that I haven’t been able to get a towel nor have I had anything be an inconvenience. There are a plethora of televisions all around and the music choice is always upbeat, so even if you left your headphones at home do you still have a nice option. To be honest, I have not one, but two 24 hour fitnesses that’re closer to my home but I choose to do the extra drive because it’s worth it.

Has everything you need for your workout which is why I give it a good rating. But definitely has some flaws. Showers can get pretty bad later in the day. Avoid peak hours as much as possible 5-9pm.

They lied about the unfreeze/freeze conditionsI was told few months ago that I can just come by and extend easily the freezing on my account for few more months.But when I tried to do this today they told me that I have to reactivate my account first and then wait 24 hours to freeze it again.That I will be charged again and I should be reimbursed after.So Im just going to cancel my membership and find another location after the summer when I want to go back to the gym.I have been at this gym for more than 3 years

A well maintained 24. The reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because they have Fox News playing on most of the TVs. After talking with a few people, wed prefer almost anything but the shallow propaganda channel.

One of my Favorite locations.2018, 2017, 2014.Clean, newer, good equipment, nice and responsive staff. Well maintained.Has my favorite Rock-it line of weight machines.Has wifi and towel service.(which Al Super Sport are supposed to have.)It is a true/actual SUPER SPORT location.Sadly, many locations are now upgrading their name and process to be CALLED super sorry, while still only being the Sport facilities they were built as. Those facilities do NOT have wifi or towel service.(An FYI so you know to call ahead and ASK, even if it says Super Sport Im the name, it may not be as originally defined.)

VisitingI wanted to visit this place with my friend and I had a free pass but reception desk didnt let me in. He was careless and mean. He told me you can just sign up for a month +$100 or pay $45 for short visit.

The gym is nice, but customer service is quite disappointing. Everyone is rushing to finish the conversation. There is one that is quite rude today. I am not expecting you to be smiling, but at least dont talk to customers with the attitude.

Lots of good equipment, plenty of weights (though it does get busy during peak hours, mornings are great for having the place to yourself a bit), always clean and the staff are very friendly.

This is a wonderful gym. I am an overweight person and I get the ideal treatment when I go to the gym: I am ignored. No one ever bothers me and I am able to exercise without any kind of distress or embarrassment. The membership also allows you access to free classes from yoga and Pilates to weight training and Zumba. For those who are more interested in sports there is an indoor basketball court and a swimming pool and a sauna and spa to unwind in post workout. The locker area is always clean and has an endless supply of hot water to use. They offer personal trainers and they are expensive, but they dont waste your money. They are kind and encouraging as they push you to do more than you think you can do but not more than you can. If youre looking for a good gym to be loyal to, this one cant be beat!

The white mean general manager here really really suck. He literally gave me a warning when I helped my friend to not buy personal training session. Like all they want is getting your money. I went to Bay Club right after. He thought I was going to another 24 hour fitness so he threaten me again, ‘we will revoke ur membership if you help your friend workout at other stores...’. Non sense. Pity guy with no love for others. All my poor friend wanted was me showing him few workouts to lose some weight, but he has to pay *** trainee to learn?????????

Signed up for Ten personal training sessions with Josh. Finished the ten sessions and added 10 more. This gym is always clean. Employees and customers are always courteous and respectful. Wish every 24 was like this one. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Hit or miss. And now it appears 24 is morphing its clubs into Super Sport category without the promised amenities. For example - here they removed the racquetball court years ago and made it a personal trainer area only, towel service is going away July 1. A while back, I was looking for a super sport to swim and the location had no pool, but recently got upgraded equipment so 24 upgraded that locations level to a super sport, even though it offered no super sport amenities. But back to this location, trying to get time in the pool is a challenge as it always seems to be crowded. Parking lot is always full. Its a battle just to go!

(07/06/19)Downgrading my review further to 1 star. Id give them 1/2 if I could. Staff is indifferent, you better watch your back there since if anything is stolen from you, not only can they do nothing about it (thats a given, we all know that petty theft is tolerated even by law enforcement), they will act like it and even more so, they dismiss you like a pest (basically pouring salt on your wound with their indifference). Decent gym and equipment but not the safest and certainly not the friendliest. I rarely go here anymore and largely split my time between the Arquez Location (the BEST staff) and the Mountain View Location (safer).Also I agree with many others that the standard of cleanliness at high traffic times (7-9pm) just isnt there. Bathrooms are straight disgusting. They need to have the staffing doing their self proclaimed Team Cleans more often.... I hear them announce it on the intercom but I dont see it being done with much vigor or enthusiasm. All goes back to customer service: the staff TOP-BOTTOM seem like theyd rather be anywhere else but there. I echo many folks sentiments here regarding the management here. They dont manage, and they dont care.One final point about removing the towel service: everybody knows its not for the environment since someone has to wash the towels - and clean people who go to a dirty gym will wash them after 1X use - so the towel washing will continue and it will harm the environment and consume the resources of mother earth just the same, only difference now is that the COST will be PASSED ON to the customer. The marketing people could have at least made their reasoning seem less ridiculous and more sincere in their print ads by encouraging members not to wash towels at home after at least two uses!(10/25/18)Downgrading my review to 2 stars from 4. Staff was not very helpful and I swear my bag got stolen from my locker on the night of 10/25/18...but how? It mystifies me, what happened to it? I am very particular keeping my things in order. I returned the following day to speak with management because I really felt like the staff felt genuinely inconvenienced by my request to have them check their Lost & Found. The Interim manager listed to my feedback but also seem a bit inconvenienced. I was happy she took 5 minutes to listen though. Customer focus I think is a key value for 24-Hr fitness corporate: so far I have not seen demonstrable evidence of this @ the Sunnyvale location by the folks at the front-desk. One thing I was super appreciative of though was the surprising empathy and honesty I was greeted with by of one of the service people doing the towel cleaning. She actually informed me that theft happens all the time at this location (I did not know this before then) and that she was sorry that it happened to me! I think she should be running the location! :-)(Pre-2018)One of the better 24s in the Bay Area, I like the cleanliness of the facility overall and the newness of the workout mats. Wish other 24s would follow suit. One thing I really wish management would do is rip out the carpet in the front where you walk in, its gross and would be better served as the normal rubber material that covers the rest of the workout floor given its frequent use as a stretching, sit-up etc space by myself and others.

Was in town for 2 days, wanted to work out and had to pay 25.00 per day. Big gym and still very crowded. Nice folks

The manager justin should not be working here . Corporation should look into how many negative review about this man.i show up today check in .my card did not charge even i paid last week .one of the staff did not take my charge from card right. I end up not allow to go in the gym. His customer service is not professional. Do not go here or become a member here. Managers here are racist. If im white i could be allow to go in And pay latter. Or i could fix the payment latter. manager response very cold like they dont care or need customer to be here.

Horrible experience I have with this club. Kids club (the reason I’ve chosen this club) doesn’t work as it seems to be. After 10 minutes of class the lady from reception came and said ‘sorry you the kid is crying’ so it was pretty clear I have to pick up my child (btw kid club is not free). When yoga classes schedule doesn’t meet my expectations I decided to cancel my membership and guess what? I can’t cancel it! I sighed a year agreement BUT I asked manager Joshua if I can cancel it he said sure anytime. Today I went to the club to cancel and the same manager lied in my face that he could not say that! I was like a fool there. Very disappointing, poor customer service and experience. Btw after 3 months the club charged me a 50$ fee. I wish I knew that before sighing anything. Please ask every detail before sighing but in my case it didn’t help.

Olympic platforms! Nice!That was my first thought...However, dinged 2-stars for a silly No chalk rule. Ya looked really nice, but clearly you arent interested in people doing their best work. Yes, there is a lot one can do without proper grip-traction, but you arent going to do something epic. Ill show you a 600lb deadlift, but you better believe Ill be using chalk. And if you are worried about the mess, I always clean up after myself. Im an adult and I know my mother doesnt work there.You are encouraging mediocrity and limiting potential, and that just looks bad on you. --- Ive been a member with 24hr Fitness for years, Ive used facilities across the country (and I will continue to do so), and the rules at this location are NOT the rules of the chain. (In fact, i think Ill start a gym- review blog as a traveling powerlifter.) These restrictions represent the local management. The same local management that views this as a Store and not as a Gym. You will not keep me from talking to a friend about lifting while training together (just because Im not one of your BS Master Trainers, or videotaping a good lift in your precious store (also seemingly against the rules here).A gym is for doing Work and Getting Better. A store is for the enrichment of a few. Maybe YOU dont want my type there, but other locations do. My membership is with the Whole, not just youre little pond.Oh, and one more thing... Look up Hex and then change your signs. ;)(The word you are looking for is duodecagonal)

Pretty solid 24 Hour Fitness Super-Sport, but definitely crowded at times. Theres almost always a wait at the Olympic lifting platforms.Theres towel service at this location as well, which is more than I can say for the Fremont and San Jose locations.

Aerobic machines are always available. The machines seemed to be cleaned fairly regularly, but often times customers dont wipe their machines down after use as instructed. The weight machine area is a little intimidating, as it is the center focus of the architecture; it seems like people are facing you from every direction. Machines seem to be repaired within a couple weeks of them breaking, which isnt too bad. Towels are available on checkin and checking in is fast. Parking is always available, but sometimes that means walking from the Safeway lot. The best deal for membership is the two year package that can be purchased from Costco.

Very unprofessional front desk. Zero communication skills. We tried asking simple questions and all we got in return is attitude which is very disgusting and rude. Never again and it was 3 of us that we’re about to get membership with you as well!

Gym should have some rules... I find 90% people are just waste time on machines.... for 1 exercise they occupy machine for 15+ mins (in 15 mins I can finish 3 exercises with 4 reps each)... all they do is chit chat in group, on there cell phones... I mean have some respect for others time too... all show no sweat!!

Patrick Giuliano heres how your bag got stolen. A couple of years ago a gal had her bag stolen from her locker. How? The thief told the front desk she forgot her combination. All she had to do was describe the bag (black fendi duffel maybe?) and the bag was hers.I was in the locker room when the theft victim figured out what had happened, poor gal.Its amazing 24 hour will let anyone take stuff from a locker just by describing the bag. Not checking id or some other more thorough vetting.Ever since then I dont use the locker, just travel light keep everything I need on me or in sight at all times.

They discontinued their towel service. huge disappointment for me. Great swimming pool and gym though. Also has a basketball court.

One of the best equipped facilities. I love stretching tools. If only there was more parking.

The cleanest of the 24 Hours Fitness super sports in the bay area. Great place to work out!

Not real 24-hour. When you get a pass, to activate it, you have to find a salesman. The sales people are only on-site for a certain period of time. And the website NEVER told you this when you got the pass.

They encourage racist and anti-gay behavior and harassment by showing Fox News in men’s locker room.Today I went to the gym to work out, IN PEACE. Instead, I had to endure listening to racist and anti-immigrant news pieces on Fox News and some old, white, straight men loudly discussing it while using the locker room.This gym’s clientele is ethnically mostly Asian and Indian. It is a shame they broadcast hateful rhetoric and encourage hateful behavior in men’s locker rooms.

If management were smart (and I sure hope they are), access to the Club by undercover law enforcement would not only be welcome but ENCOURAGED as cost-free membership so they can catch all the lowlifes who view the locker rooms and premises as an open invitation to steal the property of other members. No more of the morally ambiguous bullsh*t. Being a member of a gym is a PRIVILEGE and not a right. We PAY for our property and we PAY for our inclusion in this community: make it RIGHT. Its time for the thieves to pay for what they do. The Fitness team should be keeping a time, date, description and contact log for all incidents of theft. Find the lowlifes doing this so they can be prosecuted and BANNED FOR LIFE. Thanks so much! (Now watch the likes.)

Love it here...

This super sport is pretty nice. Its clean and has all the amenities. Cardio area, free weights, machines, rig with room for 8 racks, bumper plates, basketball court, pool, steam room, hot tub, sauna.

No cardio machines or showers at the moment 😭

Ive been going here for a few years and its been alright. The worst of it has to be the showers. They never smell clean, even right after they clean them. Theres always disgusting stuff people leave lying around the showers too. Ive seen bandaid swimsuits, underwear, not exactly enjoyable. The equipment is nice, but the padding on the machines only get replaced once they get really bad. I think they could use more space for dead lifts. There never seems to be enough barbells for everyone.

This 24 hour fitness is bright, clean and spacious. There are plenty of places to work out and it includes awesome amenities like a jacuzzi, and a basketball court.

Ive been a free-trial member. Good: clean environment, a lot of equipment and profession staff. Bad: expensive.
