Hank and Tho are the best mechanics Ive ever had in 30 years. They know their stuff and are incredibly hard working and honest. Tho has gone way out of his way a number of times to help me out of a tight spot (e.g. urgent repair before vacation). There are some great auto shops in Sunnyvale but none better than Hanks.

As a single young woman I am always nervous going to get my car repaired because I’m often taken advantage of. I had no concerns about him adding on services I didn’t need or jacking up the price. He was upfront and honest. Much appreciated! Can’t say enough good things about Hank and his shop!

Overall service is good but Makes 40% profit on parts. I had my car all wheel pads and front disc rotors replaced.Accidnetly noticed his purchase cost and makes around 40% profit. Paid 700 without tax for front disc rotors +break pads replacement (front and back)+oil change

Ive had services done here for my Toyota Camry and an old Mercedes E320 and have been very pleased with their work. On a recent job for valve cover gaskets on the Mercedes, their original quote was lower than other shops, but then they said that a couple hoses normally replaced for the job looked fine, so the final price ended up even lower by over a hundred. Honest and competent shop. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for value for the money, this is the place. Consistently good work, and very reasonable pricing. The first time I went, Hank thought he knew what the problem was and had a spare part handy from his own car. Within 10 minutes he had used the part to confirm his diagnosis. No charge for finding the problem - just had me come back the next day for the repair, which was much cheaper than I thought it would be.

My engine light went on, drove my car there, they reset the light and told me to come back if the light came on again, which it really did. So I drove back, it took them half a day and cost me $90 to fix iy. The problem was that some wire was cut off or loose, they fixed the wiring. I think the price is reasonable.

Going into this transaction I had low hopes for my 2003 Oldsmobile Alero that had already gotten turned down by another local mechanic due to rusted parts making it a risky and complicated job. Not only did Hanks take my project on, but they were able to give an honest estimate, fix it within one afternoon, and turn it back to me with a bonus needed oil change. I was extra pleased that they also detailed to me what problems that might delay the fix due to rusted parts that could have potentially broken while fixing (but their mastery must have avoided this hence the quick turnaround). I have recently moved, and this will be my go to garage from now on.

Hank does a wonderful job fixing cars.I took my 2001 Subaru Outback in for boot replacement.If I had gone to a dealer it would of cost me $800+!! He fixed them under $250!!I need new shocks and struts, so Im taking my Subie in again.Im taking my car into his shop from now on, because my Subie needs to last me for another 2,3 years!!I highly recommend going to him, if your car is well over manufacture warranty/service package.

Pretty awful experience. The mechanic that worked on my car didn’t understand that the problem was with the alignment, didn’t fix the issue and tried to upsell with an oil change.

Hank got my car back and running within a day, replaced the radiator and havent had an issue since. Fast and good service, he called to let me know the progress and give me updates on the entire process.

I visited this repair center to get my van noise fixed. Previously two repair shops were unable to find the right root cause of the issue and also given large estimate. Then I visited Hank auto repair with a friend reference. I would like to share two things that I am very satisfied.Firstly, I was so impressed by the confidence of the technician.
